21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZCash Classic, what a stupid name on: November 15, 2016, 03:44:22 AM
If alts start having their own fork, their market price will reduce just like what happened to Ethereum and Zcash.

Monero Classic came and went and Monero is looking ok to me.

I'm still waiting for Litecoin Classic or PayPal Classic. Lol!

Maybe we should have a Classic only market? And a Classic Altcoin section on Bitcointalk
Wait until we get Ethereum Unlimited, Monero Unlimited, Zcash Unlimited, Litecoin Unlimited come along.

I'll mine anything for profit, i used to care about the tech but if i am honest, its all about the Bitcoin. Shut your GPUs down and run a SegWit node (it can be downloaded from the link at the top of this page) until the next big profit Altcoin comes along and use your electric budget for buying more Bitcoin  Grin

But i don't think there is enough time left to get a new coin up, running and trusted by folk before the Global fiat meltdown begins.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Cryptocurrency Project on: November 15, 2016, 02:05:07 AM
Not sure we need another coin tbh, too many already

yes but the ones we have are not worth mining anymore (profit just too small) and they are all ASIC resistant so the hashrate will not grow any further.

ASICs = efficiency & space saving.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Cryptocurrency Project on: November 15, 2016, 01:31:34 AM
Do you want to be part of a new crypto currency team?

Do you want to contribute to the development of a new cutting edge crypto currency that

* Has public and private chains by default
* Has a patented POW mining algorithm and upfront designed ASIC

Will the ASIC use stock components and will the gerber files be open source?
It would be nice to see DIY kits of [pcb + parts] to users who have experience and want to assemble their own boards. Also wholesale pricing as well for large orders?
Or at least a schematic and bill of materials?

It's not going to take long to reverse engineer your ASIC unless you have your own IC design and manufacturing source, the Chinese will be all over it.

That said, if done correctly, a algorythm that could be GPU or CPU mined at first and then become ASIC compatible after X amount of blocks mined,... that would be interesting.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Ethereum takeover Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2016, 04:57:41 PM
Ethereum isn't a blockchain, its a database
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH ASIC Legit? on: November 12, 2016, 04:54:23 PM

Me too! GPU mining is not profitable enough with these altcoins at these pricese even with low cost electric. We need an ASIC and we need it bad.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ZEC] ZCASH - All coins are created equal. Discussion Thread (Unofficial) on: November 12, 2016, 04:48:26 PM
When Zcash will have windows client?

I'm waiting for that question but why do they delay this window wallet?
or They do not want to develop this wallet?Huh

Devs have already been paid. Why would they do more work for nothing? Maybe if we agree to up the founder fee to 50%?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: November 12, 2016, 04:40:09 PM

Maybe the Devs should have took 50%?
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: November 12, 2016, 04:35:17 PM
Please please invest in Zcash.

I was mining it for a while but it is no longer profitable so i shut my rig down. That coin didn't last very long (ZClassic even shorter).
But please, please buy Zcash. The price will go up again if you all go and buy some and i will be able to mine it and exchainge it for more bitcoin  Grin The Devs just are not getting new coins out quick enough these days and they don't seem to stay profitable long, so please support Zcash until the next big thing turns up.

MESSAGE to all DEVS, pull your finger out and make better coins, we have miners sitting idle here. Sort it out!
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Ethereum takeover Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2016, 04:19:58 PM
Everything depends on acceptance. Since ETH and Bitcoin are getting more and more every day, both are in continuos developing so, taking in account the size of the whole systems and community involved I don't think ETH will takeover Bitcoin (at least until 2020). That's my opinion.

I agree however, maybe if you could find a way of making people use Ethereum "against their will" then it will overtake Bitcoin. Maybe get George Soros and "MoveOn" behind it and put non users in FEMA camps.
One thing is for sure, I will resist using it if it costs me my life. I will burn all my money before i use ethereum again. It stands for everything that is wrong in the world. I will campaign for people not to use it and will do my best to get the message out to as many people as i can that it is just bad science.

You have to remember, most people that watch TV do not know how TV works. If a crypto goes mainstream the same will apply. My knowledge is not vast but bitcoin works for me and i use it everyday.

I don't "Hate" many things in my life: Satan, ISIS, the Clinton's (but only for funding the IRA that bombed my city when i was a child, we have forgiven the IRA now but not the Clintons) and Ethereum.  I love most other things.

Anyhow, no worries it's not even the top altcoin.  Cheesy

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So did anone here get rich from the ZCash pump? on: November 01, 2016, 02:31:54 PM

Yes, the Zcash Devs got rich, and they are laughing till they wet their pants,  Wink

Yes they got paid or you can say rich when they crowdfund.
Investors that participated in crowdfunding will get first 4 years 20% of miners revard.

But where are they, which nation is collecting the Tax and benifitinng from their disposable income? China?

Moreover:
Any Developer of a project like this can accept a donation for their project and then pretend to be an Investor in the same crowd sale. Just put the money you have just been given, back in the crowd sale to up the figures. Thats why we have regulation? but this is crypto so we should be making "trust-less" systems, not "fiat" like systems.
It's not as though it can be checked as there is no transparency. Maybe Hillary is involved?

Anyhow, they are gonna be so so rich, but in what currency? USD? GBP?

20% of current market capital  Cheesy

And they didn't even bother to do a windows GUI,

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Iceland vote for Bitcoin and Auroracoin? on: November 01, 2016, 12:21:30 PM
Pirate Party is a big movement. At least in Europe. Most countries have such Party or at least an non profitable organization. In my country they got in 2014 1.5% votes. what was ofcourse not enough to enter Congress. We will see next elections.

Saying she is one of us is useless unless you are from Iceland. You have one of us in your country also.

"Free market" is New world Order and has to fail.  The internet is a battlefield that is only just starting to spill blood. It will soon become full war. Not between nations but between the people and the ruling classes. It started with Brexit and is spreading into the US. The people will take back control but first we must crash fiat. It has started with the GB £ and the US $ will follow

Bitcoin must not go mainstream, It must stay the payment system for the Resistance to the New world Order.  A global insurrection against banker occupation has began. If we scale too quickly they will hijack our tech. I'm with segregated witness. Let's see the banking system fail first and then we will see if we get 95%

check out where Greg maxwells wages are coming from.. that $75mill investment so far into blockstream has come from the banking groups.
think about it, research it and realise who is controlling it.

All they care for is fiat. Fiat has to go
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Survey] Why Are You Here ? on: November 01, 2016, 11:58:45 AM

A global insurrection against banker occupation has began. I'm here to help bring down fiat. I'm fighting for financial freedom for all not just the elite. All the money you make will never buy back your soul. The establishment is going down. BIGLY

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcash, Revolution or Failure? on: November 01, 2016, 10:36:43 AM

I have GPUs sitting idle.  I might mine it in 4 years when Devs no longer get 20%

Shit, my government want 20% Capital Gains tax,
the Devs want 20% tax
and the exchanges take some to.
I then pay Value Added Tax to my electric provider at 20%.

Lots of people on the make here so I'm happy to let my GPUs sit idle.

Where are Zcash regestered for tax? US? because we need to build a wall.

Got some time off soon, im gonna format my server, remove all traces of Ethereum and Classic node and install Bitcoin 0.13.1 with SegWit.

Zcash =  Zcrash

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum computing resistant coins? on: October 30, 2016, 09:40:49 AM
Just last month, China launched the world’s first “quantum satellite”.

https://www.extremetech.com/extreme/238315-china-set-finish-2000-km-quantum-link

It's here and now, feeding wikileaks US emails?

Personaly, i only use Chinese mining pools. I have lots and lost of wallets, with very small amounts of coin in each.  Collectivly they add up to a very pleasing amount  Cool however, you have to crack all my keys to take all my coin.

So protect your self, dont have all your coin in one wallet, and that goes for all your alts. However, why would they attack crypto as it is disruptive tech? I fear the US, Israel and my own UK gov more than i do the Chinese or Russians using quantum computers on crypto. They have bigger fish to fry

Has this coin forked yet?
yes and as far as i know was it a success

Cool, attacks? anyone got a node up and running solo mining?
