So after giving this some thought over the last few days I think the best outcome to finalise this project is to just raffle it between everyone involved. I dont think there is a big enough appetite among the wider community here to warrant a paid raffle or auction.
I'll give it another 24hrs and set up the raffle and roll the blockchain and to let anyone post their opinions/thoughts.
Thanks for all the suggestions thus far but I think this is the simplest option.
Thread title changed for the moment...

Iga Swiatek vs Aryna Sabalenka is in the Rome final, not really sure Sabalenka will be able to avenge her loss at the Madrid Open to Swiatek because it was reported that she was injured and also not very fit, that's why Sabalenka had a longer match to get to the final compared to Swiatek who didn't lose one even sets to get to the final, but it's still possible this will be a three-set match.
Damn - I wish I had known that before the match and before my 20.5 over bet. I really thought this would be another close affair like Madrid. Swiatek is really going well, eventhough she loses some lower tournaments she seems to win more of the bigger ones and she is leading Sabalenka in the rankings and leading by over 3500 points.
Anyone fancy Jarry today against Zverev? He is big enough odds 3.30. I think he should at least be able to take a set off Zverev so maybe an over rather than under.

-er suffix is for people who do something like their occupation. So Bitcoiners are for people who work, use, and invest or do things with Bitcoin.
-ist is for like a religious thing and you can use it like Bitcoin Maximalist who consider Bitcoin as the only and most important cryptocurrency. In their view, altcoins are shitcoins and don't mean anything for the market, Bitcoin is the only one in their hearts.
Religious? lol! -er is for the action of doing that, it's used only for verbs "the one that does" drive / driver , paint / painter , mine /miner -ist is for one that works with something, both nouns and adverbs, so you don't have bycler/motorer but bicyclist and automobilist motorist You have the verb to teach you have teacher, you teach physics (noun) then physicist Yea Stompix has posted what I was thinking but having difficulty explaining, and has a more technical explanation. I have never heard, read or seen the name Bitcoin-ist, I would if I was to use that term apply that to people who mine Bitcoin, similar to someone who operates a metal working lathe or mill, we call them a "Machin-ist" Bitcoin-er is used by me to describe "anyone" who gets into and uses Bitcoin. It could also be used in the same mode as a "Paint-er", "Runn-er", "Football-er".

Yes, strange game indeed, but the Broncos dig deep in the weeks before the State of origin series as well as this week - the so called Magic Round is being played in Brisbane (all eight games).
My picks this week are raiders, Broncos, Knights, Sharks, Cowboys, Panthers, Storm and the Dolphins of course.
Going well Timelord ! Wins today also for Knights, Sharks and Cowboys, that means you are in the Green so far this round. Another loss for the Rabbitohs even after a half decent performance and scoring 22 points but it wasnt enough.
First match today in the United Rugby Championship must have been a cracker! Bulls v Benetton - 91 points scored between them, home team scoring 56. I need to watch those highlights.

↑ That was definitely worth a wager for sure based on how well both have been playing...
but...
Its not to be, Tabilo didnt make it even after a massive 6-1 first set win.
Jarry managed to beat Paul in a fantastic 3 set match, I watched it all and IMO he will give Zverev a great match on Sunday. I dont see the odds yet but I guess Zverev will be favourite and I would imagine the final will be a three set affair so I think I would like to do an over bet on this - IDK

Massive win today for the Broncos by the tiniest of margins, 1 point. Such a strange game, it was 0-12 to the Broncos at half time. In the second half the Sea Eagles scored 12 points without any reply from the Broncos until the 75th minute they score a field goal and then its defend like crazy, final score Sea Eagles 12 - 13 Broncos!
Timelord I hope you had the Broncos backed?
URC is on this weekend, its round 17 of 18 and as usual theres a lot to play for. Places for the the finals are really competitive from 6th place to 10th place with only 5 points separating those teams.
Edinburgh lost this evening to Munster and are now in 6th on 49 points and they have a tough final round away to Benetton who will also be looking to secure a spot in the finals.

Dropping of Bitcoin's prices are painful for many, but this is going to be a transient process. After the halving this price provide you a unbelievable rewards who staying with Bitcoin Dips buying, Holding and DCAing.
If you have a lump sum money then you are now at a time -appropriate dips price for investment in Bitcoin. You can buy Bitcoin at the sinking price on the floor because this opportunity does not come again and again. Even a big reward for your investments is waiting for you in the future.
At this time, those who will save or hold Bitcoin with patience can actually be gained in business. Patience is the main importance for Bitcoin. Today your patience may be the title of successful investor in the upcoming future tendency to hold Bitcoin for a long time.
Buying bitcoin with DCA Increasingly and consistently to enhance your investment portfolio in this dips situation. DCA is a method that is especially made for Bitcoin which is a universal system. Buying more time of dropping will increase your confidence to investing more.
There is absolutely no need to worry about the Bitcoin market dropping when its a bull market. Its a temporary move and an opportunity to buy a little more at a discounted price point. Patience is the key, when the market drops again its a time for buying not selling. Unfortunately new comers to the scene are more likely not going to buy when the market is dropping, they will more likely buy when the markets are rising because they need to see proof.

Swiatek v Sabalenka - here we go again, a Madrid Open final replay between these two!
Both are in top form and its going to be another close one and hard to pick a winner. Over 20.5 @ 1.87 is my pick.
Jarry yesterday beat Tsitsipas in 3 sets, I watched the first set and I didnt think he would make it but he turned the match around. Thats 2 Chileans in the semi finals. I wonder what odds you would get for the two to reach the final?

First how does Bitcoin operate? Bitcoin it's a digital currency uses Blockchain technology to support transactions between users. If you know how Bitcoin operates then you will also know the consideration that comes with. And critics say Bitcoin doesn't work as a currency, Citing volatility use in illegal activity, but supporters argue that it's too early to make some of these claims, is already fixing many of those concerns. I know their are so many things to be consider with when it comes to anything investment. Mostly concerning the highest exchange in the world. So what are your opinion towards the people that are investing in Bitcoin?
So when investing in Bitcoin you dont need to consider whether some people use it for illegal purposes or that it doesnt operate as a currency, they are irrelevant considerations. What newcomers should be considering on a basic level is that there is not going to be a 100x profit and profits will take time depending on what way the investment is done, like by trading and/or DCA. Other considerations are at what stage in Bitcoins cycle the investment is starting and how long you are willing to wait. So what are your opinion towards the people that are investing in Bitcoin?
I dont have an opinion about other people, they are free to use Bitcoin as they see fit for themselves.

Yeah, I was merely making a point. It's already a defining moment that a presidential candidate, loved or hated - no matter who he/she is, has thought or said that "he could live with that", or that "he hears the people's calls". It's an absolutely good development. Bitcoin today is entering uncharted paths, and making its most important journey towards real and actual adoption as an asset class.
I suppose, theoretically, its good that Orange Man's handlers have convinced him to say things that could be interpreted as "pro bitcoin," but he's hardly the first presidential candidate to do so. A dark horse independent candidate (who has no chance of winning but could swing the outcome in one direction or another, depending on which party he takes more votes from) named Robert F. Kennedy has made it clear he is pro-bitcoin since he entered the race last year. https://www.axios.com/2024/03/04/rfk-jr-bitcoin-crypto-currency-freedom"Transactional freedom is as important as freedom of expression," Kennedy said during a press conference before his event appearance. ... "I don't think there's anybody using a podium or a bully pulpit to explain to the American public how inconsistent central bank digital currencies are with our values and how threatening they are to our constitutional rights." Other (former) candidates that revealed their pro-bitcoin-ness before Trump include Vivek Ramaswamy, Ron Desantis and Tulsi Gabbard. Yes its true that Orange Man is more popular than all of them put together. "Orange Man" made me laugh. - An Orange Coin for an Orange Man. OK, it's not the Orange Man who's the first, although he's the most popular. But you do get the context, no? I don't care if it's the Orange Man, the Old Man, the Iron Man, or the Green Man. I'm merely making a point that after the ETF and solidifying its place as an asset class, it's also having its defining moment in the socio-political sphere. LOL an Orange coin for an Orange man! It is definitely headline news for us Bitcoiners I totally missed it from back in FebruaryI wouldnt put any weight behind the claims by Trump, anything he syas or promises can easily be rescinded, actually the same goes for any politician when they are on the campaign trail looking to get elected, they can easily promise the Earth, Moon and Stars but dont necessarily have to deliver those. So yea we can take "the claims with a pinch of salt"

I am a tennis super fan, and made lots of profits on tennis Grand Slam, but I seldom bet on other tournaments cause unexpected results happen easily, I don't wanna lose my money on them. I prefer 3 out of 5 sets matches, but not 2 out of 3 sets.
Wow I think with your perception you're a guru in tennis league and I want to explore more on this too and see the difference probably I can get amazing results and fun. Iadide football game I want to put in more effort on another sport and I think tennis is the one I pick interest on and I'm sure gonna give it a try. You quoted a post from 2015. I mean WTF man? FFS - bringing up a post from "Page 1" from a member who hasnt been active since 2016 Some strange results in Rome this week. Tabilo having the best week of his tennis career. Managed to get him against Khachanov but I sort of expected him to lose today. WTA side easier to predict this time around. Got some nice money on Sabalenka and Collins today.
Yes Tabilo through to the semi finals and plays Zverev next, the guy hasnt dropped a set either. Another stat is that he isnt the only Chilean in the semi's either, Jarry plays Tsitsipas today. Both Chileans are underdogs but still strong contenders particularly Tabilo, over 21.5 @ 1.74 might be an ok bet on him. Yea the tournament becomes a little more predictable when the top guys are not playing or eliminated. Its not necessarily a bad thing though IMO.
Collins v Sabalenka, the odds are close enough to suggest another over bet 21.5 @ 1.8

In the English premiership this weekend throws up 2 interesting matches, the top 4 are in action against each other!
Saracens2 play Sale4 Bath3 play Northampton 1
The two home teams are favourites!
After this round we will have the Playoffs between 4 teams and then the Final, Northampton are already listed for the playoffs.
Round 24 of 26 this weekend in France's Top14!
Toulouse who are top of the table I would imagine are going to rest their top players ahead of the European Championship final on the 25th. They are underdogs this weekend away to Montpelier.

Procreation is necessary for the continuation of the human race but unfortunately it is not selective, anyone and everyone who is capable can have children. Gen Z'ers thinking is that there is no point bringing babies into the world, they dont have a positive outlook with climate change and the rising cost of housing.
And on the subject of climate change, Procreation in humans is not necessary for the world and the natural world, if we stopped reproducing the natural world would only flourish and thrive!

Now Alejandro Tabilo who was the player who took out Novak Djokovic just might be taking out another one of those pros on tour Karen Khachanov, as he just took the first set. The young Chilean player is looking like the surprise hopeful in this tournament in Rome.
That was a very close 2 set battle, Tabilo took the win in 2 tie breaks! He is a quarter finalist now and takes on Zhang today. The odds on this one are Tabilo 1.59 - 2.34 Zhang. I wasnt expecting Paul to beat Medvedev yesterday, Medvedev lost easily to Paul 6-1, 6-4. Paul plays Hurkacz next, hard to know which way this goes but its more than likely going to be a 3 match encounter, Over 22.5 maybe @ 1.67

If things continue to move same direction then guarded area with 24/7 security cameras and guards with own Schools shops could be the future. All those Crisis economic and wars will create more dangerous life around us. Gated communties could be only way for living and it seems that things are not going better all the situation in middle east will couse conflicts all over the world no question about it mixed with ukraine situation and high cost of living and economic problems with mixed many other social problems don't look good and for many people gated community Will be good way and why not If you can choose nice place and you can feel relaxed. But instead of this many people will considering place like dubai at least you dont feel like in prison you can be around people and feel safe in gated community might be less people and not much space to go around. But more and more safe places will be demanded from people as world we live in right now people start value safety and peace of mind.
Gated communities are just for preventive measures to reduce pockets of crimes, it's not an entirely security method to forstall a full security protection in a community. If there's heavy security attack, those gates will have little or no effect to stop those attacks. Those gated communities kind of pattern worked in the 18th and the 17th century, but with modern warfare, it is practically impossible for you to stop an attack from an opponent with just barricading your residential area. There are merits to a gated community scenario in terms of every day crime prevention. If it is done right with security attackers, thieves will be more inclined to try somewhere easier because I imagine the vast majority would attack based on opportunities and risk assesment. If its solely to prevent attack in a time of war its hard to see how a gated community can withstand a tank attack or artillery but I'm not sure what exactly the OP is trying to prevent?

not bad ↑
My 4 match parlay in last weekends URC Round 16 came off too. Stormers, Ulster, Munster and the Lions all had easy enough wins.
2 rounds left to get into the top 8 and my team Connacht are currently in 9th, they have to play the Stormers 5th next and then Leinster 2nd.
Benetton in 8th also have tough matches ahead...
Also this weekend is Round 18 of 18 of the English Premiership Rugby, its very close in their table Northampton Saints 60, Saracens 56 and Bath on 55

I would like to go against the OP's thread title and say wars are about resources and resources essentially mean territory, control a territory and you control the resources including humans contained there.
There have been many feuds/wars/invasions/conquests/colonisations through history right from local feuds, vast conquests like the Romans and Mongols to colonisations like the english, its all about territory... and what lies therin.
Today we have Russia trying to claw back territory which they deem to be theirs. Israel taking more land from the Palestinians in the name of fighting terrorism.

Not only you, almost everyone believe we will see a bull season after few months dips, just take a look with the past histories. The analyst said that Bitcoin is currently trading in a tight range and could rise to around $70,000 to $72,000 if it breaks through the $63,000 level.
I mean, 10% rise is small if we talk about Bitcoin, there's nothing surprise if Bitcoin will reach $72K, that's just a normal thing. All eyes are now on the key data released by the United States next week that will determine the fate of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market.
No, the fate of Bitcoin didn't controlled by United States, there's no correlation at all. Even United States completely ban Bitcoin, there are still hundred countries accepting Bitcoin. Yup, just as Jawhead999 said, we are all just hanging around waiting for the "big surge"... its to be expected based on Bitcoins post halving performance from previous events. The OP's thread title is kind of stating the obvious and stating it for us all! $70k - $72k actually isnt that exciting anymore, thats not new territory, things will get really exciting when we pass that and break new ground and explore the $100k territories!

I suppose we could take it as an excuse for a poor performance IDK, it surely had to havs had an affect though to some degree.
Its hard to know what way this tournament is going to go without Sinner, Alcaraz, Djokovic and Ruud. We still have Tsitsipas, Rune, Zverev, Dimitrov and Medvedev.
In the WTA side I find it interesting that Osaka has made it to the round of 16, she is out now but it seems that every tournament now she is getting better.
