201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto declared illegal in China!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: September 25, 2021, 01:55:02 AM
At this point everyone knew that China really doesn't like crypto and sooner or later it will get completely banned. So this has been priced in for a long time already.

The most curious thing is whether it will make other countries from the China's sphere of influence do the same or not. My bet is that not really, crypto is really unimportant issue in the grand scheme of things, so the governments will keep ignoring it for now.
God I hope not, but given that China's foreign policy doesn't really involve meddling too much with the internal affairs of a country they're allied with, I think it's unlikely that it will ever happen, they want to be the opposite of USA when it comes to foreign policy after all.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 24, 2021, 03:26:46 PM
Casimero wants to have a fight with Inoue or Donaire and he'll stop a guy who will cross his path leading to those encounters, Butler will just become a tune fight and preparation against Inoue or Donaire.
And he better chill down with all those punk statements that he's saying because those two that he wants to fight don't appreciate those words, I mean they both have a say in Casimero's attitude, didn't Inoue had that as a reason why he wants to fight Casimero?
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most easiest casino games on: September 24, 2021, 02:28:52 PM
Dice game is so easy to play and understand, there's no doubt about this one and if you're lucky enough you can hit the jackpot in dice game this is why many are still playing this game, they prefer an easy one so they can have more fun.
Couldn't agree more, if I'm being honest, this is a good starter if you want to experience gambling, fairly easy and simple and you really don't need skills as it's a game of chance.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ultimate slot experience on: September 24, 2021, 01:40:01 PM
I will deviate away from people way of thinking that slot is a game of luck but in my opinion, it still requires some expertise to play the game and slot just like any other easy to play game it's always going in favor of the house even in a most probably fair system.
Really? How can you exactly play slot professionally and make sure that each time you play, you're guaranteed to some wins? Pretty sure there's no skill involved in slots, unless you have some control in regards to how each dials move to where you want them to land.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China issue a nationwide ban on cryptocurrency mining, on: September 24, 2021, 11:08:09 AM
That's a BS, they're obviously trying to make way for their digital yuan that's why they're cracking down on crypto and masking it as a protection from financial risk which isn't a thing that can happen when you're not greedy when you get into crypto.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How close are we to achieving the Metaverse? Facebook enters in full force, Good on: September 24, 2021, 09:59:30 AM
What he created isn't something new, his VR Rooms aren't new, there's been an existing one for a long time already, is he that out of touch to not know about this? A lot of streamers are using those VR chat rooms to cosplay, roleplay and build community.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter to pay content creators in bitcoin on: September 24, 2021, 09:00:15 AM
CEO Jack Dorsey has always been a strong advocate of cryptocurrency its not much of a surprise and this would bring up wonderful tweets with quality content on cryptocurrency as well. It would be a plus for content creators on Twitter and this also would recruit more content creators because getting tips in bitcoin alone is more valuable than the local Fiat  currency payments.
Now it's up to us what to do next, this is a pretty big development in cryptospace and to Twitter, it's now the public that has to do something in regards to what's happening to crypto right now, it's also another avenue for malicious people to scam people.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive on: September 24, 2021, 07:20:22 AM

how curious is the person who ask the question?

if he just want to know how it works, you can just say BTC is just like a currency. you can buy things with it which we now consider a digital currency.  if it doesn't end there, the person is interested to learn but he will with just analogies you can comeup.
This is the right thing to do, gauge the curiosity first to see if you're not wasting your breath on them or not, as @electronicash has said, tell them the fundamentals and see if they're going to ask them questions and if so then it's your responsibility to entertain some of the answers as much as you can.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: feel like never wanting to use crypto again on: September 24, 2021, 05:37:57 AM
Bad experiences are not to be regretted, there have been many people here who had experienced negative or risk-like things, whatever you've been through... you're not alone in experiencing that, many people had made bad experiences with crypto... turn it into a better next step and more profitable. In crypto of course we can explore many things so that we can deal with them and also avoid some things that are detrimental. Crypto has many opportunities, even new people can get more than one chance to reap positive and profitable things.
Not everyone is like you man, as if everyone has the attitude to move on in things, there's a bit of uniqueness in each people and sometimes for the worse, you're invalidating OP's feelings by comparing OP to other people as if they have the similar experience and similar way of dealing with those experiences.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: September 24, 2021, 03:26:57 AM
~
Bitcoin will take a long time to destroy because the government cannot control bitcoin, the government will never keep bitcoin as money in the public sector so bitcoin will not destroy the economy of any country. Bitcoin investment can help boost the country's economy.
Dummy, I'm not talking about bitcoin being destroyed by the government, if you've read it a bit slower it's the other way around, why would I say something senseless like bitcoin being destroyed by the government.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit cards and gambling (tabcorp, Australia) on: September 23, 2021, 05:49:00 PM
Not a temporary fix but it will do plus it will also help with people having to put up with credit card debts that they will incur overtime if they continue using credit cards for gambling.
Credit card debts are the reason why it's not good to ever get one not to mention that the interest that it incurs overtime is pretty exploitative, especially with gambling which drains your money much faster.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 23, 2021, 05:10:17 PM
Someone can logically explain why Usyk's managers on the day of the battle are diverted to such trifles as "launching the NFT collection in conjunction with Binance"? Isn't the hype enough for them? And in general, I confess I am against that such a hardcore fighter like Usyk, poke his nose into not his sphere, since it will not lead to anything good. And if someone really wants to train with Usik, then why the hell do you have to pay $ 100,000 if the address of the gym in which he trains is known to everyone ... I was a little upset by this news. Undecided
They want to try and squeeze any money they can out of the hype for this fight, I mean NFTs are a hot item right now so why wouldn't they get their hands on that one too knowing that it's going to make them lots of money?
213  Other / Off-topic / Re: GGG will have a fight this year! (BOXING) on: September 23, 2021, 04:23:14 PM
If GGG don't want to have pauses in his career, why don't he pick someone stronger than Murata. He could fight same fighters Canelo has beaten recently. Like Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders or Daniel Jacobs. These guys are on top places in the boxing ratings, while Murata is not in the rating at all.
We don't know the reasons for pauses or hiatuses in his career but you're right, maybe a bout or two against some fighters that's famous right now to stay relevant and at the same time make some more money.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Poker Rooms on: September 23, 2021, 03:14:17 PM
SWC is by far ‘the best’ pure BTC poker site but sad to say, it sucks and it’s not up to par with your average fiat poker site in terms of traffic, game selection and software.

The best poker site that accepts BTC is GGPoker.  I know it’s not a pure BTC poker site but hey..  as long as BTC is a deposit option.
I might try this one, haven't played poker for about 2 or 3 months already and I am itching to spend some of my money on those tables especially now that some days in my schedule is already vacant.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: September 23, 2021, 02:40:51 PM
Well, I recently saw a twitch streamer playing slots on a new gambling website and they have their Signature running here on the forum.
What I see is he's playing with 100k $ Slots 30-50$ /Spin but lost most of their money and over 300k $ in Loss and Still, they don't care much about their losses now reading about your Promo strategy of the Gambling websites makes me wonder if he only lost a fraction of that money.
That's not probably their money because I am pretty sure that if that streamer isn't famous then that means that that streamer isn't making that much money because I am pretty sure those streamers need that money more than anything else and I don't think gambling isn't their best pick in terms of spending money. So that's the reason why I conclude that those money is sponsored.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A whale moved $2bn in bitcoin 540 times in a short time frame on: September 23, 2021, 12:15:49 PM
I don't think a money launderer would use bitcoin for their purposes, bitcoin can be tracked by the authorities and they welcome launderers to use it because it makes their work much more easier. They would likely to use privacy coin or just straight up fiat.
217  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My gadgets store now accept bitcoin! on: September 23, 2021, 11:10:00 AM
That's great. I hope your business will prosper. When have you started it? How many customers paid in BTC?
Pretty sure that the gadget store has existed for a long time, it's just that the adoption of cryptocurrency has been a recent development in their store so it's probably an old store. May your store prosper after this OP.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin.org hacked. on: September 23, 2021, 09:10:28 AM
It seems that even that site isn't immune to this kind of thing, the site opens up with a doubler scam, hopefully someone checks the address to see if someone has already fallen for that scam, hopefully they can fix the website.
219  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Robinhood launching crypto wallets with commission-free trading on: September 23, 2021, 08:34:40 AM
They're late to the party, I mean if you look at it, they're just doing the same thing as Binance so I don't think that it's going to be that big of a hit for them because it's not a new thing, not to mention that people remembers what they did during the Gamestop mania, selling the stocks of their users without their permission is a pretty deep wound for anyone to forget.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Highest bitcoin profit you have ever received... on: September 23, 2021, 06:34:51 AM
Highest would probably be around a thousand dollars coming from 100 dollars, it was a long hodl but it was worth the hodl because of that, I haven't replicated that much ever since but hopefully I can do it again this time I am hodling about 500 dollars worth of bitcoin.
