Valery Vavilov, CEO of BitFury, said: “We are very excited to launch mass production of our super 16nm ASIC Chip. The final results of our hard work have fully met our expectations. We understand that it will be nearly impossible for any older technology to compete with the performance of our new 16nm technology. As a responsible player in the Bitcoin community, we will be working with integration partners and resellers to make our unique technology widely available ensuring that the network remains decentralized and we move into the exahash era together. BitFury warmly welcomes all companies interested in joining our integration and reseller program.”

then they should avoid to make BS statements.

This is nothing. Check out his LIES about mining being decentralized on this blog post: https://medium.com/@BitFuryGroup/keep-calm-and-bitcoin-on-4f29d581276#.1d6zjt936
202  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] Selling 1xSP31 and 1xSP30(crippled) on: January 29, 2016, 07:34:18 PM
I have 2 miners hosted at Toomim that I would like to sell:

1) First miner is an SP31 with all chips working. I was mining at ~4150Gh/s - 2.3kW. I would like 2.5 BTC for this one.
2) Second miner is an SP30 with 14 dead chips. I was mining at ~2200Gh/s - 1.5kW. I would like 1.1 BTC for this one.

Escrow possible. First come, first server!
203  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury: "16nm... sales to public start shortly" on: January 29, 2016, 02:07:45 AM
did anybody get feedback regarding the 16nm chips? any email back from bitfury after registration through their website?

So you don't have millions either.
204  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wondering out loud: Which should Chinese miners support - Core, Classic or another? on: January 28, 2016, 11:27:12 PM
@gmax - I appreciate that you've taken some time today write out these arguments in a different way than you and others have before.  You're giving me a lot to think about RE: blocksize limit.  Genuinely, thanks.  Smiley

Same. People need to realize that Bitcoin will never die no matter what is the block size is or how are the fees imposed or any other reason. It will simply adapt. Go Core!
205  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury: "16nm... sales to public start shortly" on: January 27, 2016, 09:57:53 PM
I don't much like it either. They still haven't responded to my requests. I guess that's one of the consequences of not being a millionaire, but not being a millionaire is one of the consequences of being unwilling to borrow and burn other people's money.

Again, no love for the forum who provided them money to rise. Shame!
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 140k Tesla bought with Bitcoin 2 days ago on: January 26, 2016, 07:13:03 PM
Let's see...Finland is near Sweden and Sweden is where KnC Miner is. I think we have a winner, don't we MarkusRoll Eyes
207  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: where in the world can i download the 0.93.3? on: January 12, 2016, 09:53:37 PM
Yeah.... Armory needs to update their site.  It makes the version provided here seem sketchy when it isn't available to all Armory users.

Both are signed by the same PGP key. Both bitcointalk.org and the Armory website have always been used to post new versions of this software. So, it might seem like that. But in reality, it's not.

Sure, but let's be honest, when an updated version is only posted on the forum and the main website's version remains outdated, it kind of seems like bush-league.

I must agree with that, but I think that you can download and verify against the signatures, then you can use the downloader to get the new version.
208  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Segregated Witness and Armory on: January 10, 2016, 06:26:28 PM
Obviously

Great. Thank you!
209  Bitcoin / Armory / Segregated Witness and Armory on: January 10, 2016, 04:26:44 PM
Are there any plans on supporting this feature?
210  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 16nm ASIC, 10THS/MINER,100w/THS on wall. on: January 09, 2016, 08:20:40 PM
Not sure if this will help but thought I would give it a shot.

Why not give it a shot over here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=250249.0 ?

212  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Best hosting location for mining gear on: January 09, 2016, 08:16:52 PM
As far as I know this is still the definitive guide to miner hosting.  Be sure to read the reviews.
At one point I had my inventory spread across three hosting locations.  Two of them went under.  One resurfaced, but I moved my miners and kept them with the sole survivor.  SEG Mining.  You will see them listed in the directory.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.0

good link...sometimes I have a concern that this important for miners info is tucked so far away in an obscure directory branch that not many people see it.

I have it in my signature since its inception!

hello you can check out our offer in Europe..

Good luck!
213  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 16nm ASIC, 10THS/MINER,100w/THS on wall. on: January 08, 2016, 10:01:33 PM
I'm willing to carefully and thoroughly review a unit.

And unlike the Spamdoolie toadies (ie RoadStress) I won't open an unnecessary new thread for it, just to crowd out competitor posts.

Any proof for your statement or it's business as usual a.k.a. speaking out of your lying ass?
214  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 16nm ASIC, 10THS/MINER,100w/THS on wall. on: January 07, 2016, 12:46:41 AM
Unit looks nice. I would do a review on it if offered the chance.

Is there a live unit available? If not when can we see one?
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Foundation: Where on Earth Did all the Money Go? on: January 06, 2016, 08:34:30 PM
One more question since it's been a thorn in my side for a long time: Any chance of showing the bitcoins transaction depicting KnC paying its $100K membership fee? Unless I misread, you stated (paraphrased) that you had no qualms with providing past proof of transactions.

Now this is something that I would also like to see! +1

6 pages and no reply to what I thought to be a decent curiosity? Well done Bitcoinpro and Gleb Gamow!

Well done to you BruceFenton too! Excellent PR for this forum Smiley

218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Foundation: Where on Earth Did all the Money Go? on: January 05, 2016, 12:58:24 AM
I have a question for you BruceFenton. What exactly are you trying to achieve with this and with the Foundation? What is the plan in the short and long term? Are you trying to raise more funds? Do you simply want a new and clean Foundation? If not this then what else?

The goal is to have an organization with a clear and defined mission and those who agree with that mission can support it.

Here is the draft out for comment.

https://github.com/BruceFenton/bitcoinfoundationplan

Ok. Then why all the fuss cleaning up Foundation name when you could come up with a totally different name, but with the same purpose? Is it something that I'm missing in the big picture?

Was a fun hobby while it lasted. Saving a shit-tonne of $$$ on electricity per month since quitting is kinda nice...

Well the most important aspect of mining as a hobby is to at least pay the electricity. If you were paying from your pocket then you were doing it wrong. So I wouldn't call it saving Smiley
