Sweet, back to back blocks!  Cool

Edit: And only 1 second apart..  Shocked

CoinCadence is showing them as 30s apart. Any idea why is it showing as 0.00% luck?
1182  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 10, 2014, 12:02:02 AM
So what are you trying to say? That I can't put hardware related questions to Spondoolies in their hardware thread but it's perfectly fine for you troll the AM shareholders thread? Are you an AM shareholder? If not, why are you even posting in that thread?

Do you have a problem with the relevant on-topic question that I asked?

Not a problem at all. I was just noticing a pattern. Why so angry?
1183  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 09, 2014, 07:24:32 PM
What's the time-frame for Spondoolies next gen ASIC? Have you taped out yet? When are you guys expecting samples?

Every time I ask something about AM you come here. I think this is the third time (if I remember correctly) when you do this Smiley You are way too predictable.

Nice signature btw.
1184  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 09, 2014, 06:36:59 PM
The funny thing about that discussion is that you don't need any special training to try to put some numbers down. Only elementary math is needed. You have 60PH to deploy and it costs you X$/GH. All you had to do is to just put a random number for X so you could get the total amount of money needed for that deploy. Afterwards you do it again increasing or decreasing the X value until you get to a satisfying total amount. After agreed about the total price we could discuss about the origins of those money.

AM do not have 60 Ph/s. That had 60 Ph/s months ago. Since then, they've sold ASIC, they've sold miners, and they've recently started mining contracts. They've also been building their mining farms since mid July and taped out the gen 4 ASIC in September. So, how many Ph/s remain to be sold and how much money do AM have? Oh, but it costs X$/Gh to deploy and all we have to do is put in random numbers until we get a price we're happy with? Simple!  Roll Eyes

Go ahead then, pull some numbers out your arse which don't actually represent anything except your imagination and plug them into your equation. What the hell will that show?

I was trying to give you an example that you just can't answer "I don't know" and that anyone can speculate on this. Your refusal to discuss this topic back then can't be motivated by a simply "I don't know". I was pulling some numbers out of my arse back then when you refused a normal discussion. I said that at 0.5$/GH there are needed 30M$ for AM to sell their chip stock and I said that it is highly unlikely that they can do it. Instead of replying to me with arguments you chose to accuse me of trying to promote SP-Tech as always.

Right now I am not interested in that discussion anymore because it's obviously outdated and AM clearly missed their 4 months target to sell all the chips. When I said that it's near impossible you accused me of promoting other miners as usual.

Also by "been building their mining farms since mid July" you don't actually expect me or anyone else to think that it is a continuous work since then. They are either done or extremely slow in doing it and I will keep stating that since they aren't showing their hashrate then it's way too small to make a difference. It's not a fact since nobody has the true numbers, but it's an educated guess (I know that you are unable to do them). So your statement that AM has far more than 4PH/s hashing right now it's just a big big lie imo. Not for self-mining anyway. Contracts and other franchise are different, but the self mining is obviously way less than 4PH/s.

AM likely has far more than 4 PH/s hashing right now. They've been building their farm since mid July. That 5 Ph/s is just a small slice set aside for the specific purpose of selling mining contracts.

So 5PH/s is just a small slice. Ok...
1185  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 09, 2014, 05:08:09 PM
So when I asked how do you think AM is going to sell/deploy 60 PH worth of chips you refused a discussion. Now I am trying to discuss about the big large farms and you refuse again. How about a talk about colors? Would you like that? Maybe that will make you forget about the competitors because it seems you only think about them instead of focusing on your investment.
I didn't refuse a discussion, I told you that I don't know. Why would I bother trying to discuss something when I don't have the necessary info? Unlike you, I don't just pull shit out my arse, fling it at the wall, hope something sticks and pretend they're facts.

I see KnC, I see AntFarm, I see other big pools. AM has nothing to show right now.
How big are those farms then since you seem to be the expert?

Have a look at https://blockchain.info/pools and http://organofcorti.blogspot.com/ Right now KnC is at 6%. Where is AM at?

It seems that I mistakenly read AntFarm instead of AntPool. I retract the AntFarm statement.

You are allowed to say whatever you want, but all you do is talk shite because you are just a sad little troll. You say AM equipment sucks yet 1700 AMHash shares is equivalent to an SP20 @ 0.1 $/kWh but costs less than half the price. Also, AM miners don't burn down your mining farm unlike Spondoolies' miners.

Again bringing SP-Tech into discussion out of thing air. I know it's a big pain in the ass for you and you only think about them, but please try to not bring them up anymore. We are talking about AM right now, not about the competition. Can you stick to the subject? Pointing your shit towards other companies will not make FC make better business decisions, will not bring dividends faster and will not increase share price. You have to just accept the reality and just move on. SP-Tech didn't bring/force AM into their present status. Instead of pointing towards others please tell me where is AM right now and what is AM doing right now for its shareholders. Oh wait you don't know. Nobody knows. In the past they were a force when it came to self-mining, now they are nowhere to be seen. Prove me wrong.

Yes but they got what they deserved. What they were doing was illegal and what did they expect.

How about the law lets individuals do whatever the fuck they wish in their privacy? As long as they obey the regular civil law (no assaults, robberies etc) why would the law deny my free will? Yes you'd rather have more stuff like this happening while we use outdated laws http://en.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/2lnnh1/law_enforcement_2_me_0/ instead of bringing the laws up to date to better protect the people.

Stupid ass idiots not being able to think deeper than one level/layer!

AM likely has far more than 4 PH/s hashing right now. They've been building their farm since mid July. That 5 Ph/s is just a small slice set aside for the specific purpose of selling mining contracts.

Do you think AM self mining is bigger or smaller than KnC farm?

Do you think spondoolies self mine is bigger or smaller than the spondoolies HW farm that burnt down?

Smaller.

AM likely has far more than 4 PH/s hashing right now. They've been building their farm since mid July. That 5 Ph/s is just a small slice set aside for the specific purpose of selling mining contracts.

Do you think AM self mining is bigger or smaller than KnC farm?

No idea.

Here's some info for you though. 1700 AMHash shares are equivalent to running an SP20 with electricity costs of 0.1 $/kWh, only they cost less than half the price of an SP20 and there's simply no hassle.

Do you think SP20's are terrible value given the above info? Do you think Spondoolies' are ripping off their customers by not offering competitive products?

Stick to the subject maybe? You accuse me of praising SP-Tech in every post that I make. Here you bring up the SP-Tech into our discussion. I don't care what you care about the SP20 value. Let the customers decide that!

The topic here is AM and what is AM doing, not the value of some other company miners. But I forget that nobody knows what the fuck is going on with AM so I will ignore your small derail.

Remember the good old days where you could just go to blockchain.info/pools and see the AM's share of the network? And from that, infer the actual hashing power? I wish ASICMINER had a bit more transparency, at least about what is actually going on, how much hashing power is deployed, etc.

Of course I do. There was even a speed-o-meter for that. Now it's only dust in the air. I see KnC, I see AntFarm, I see other big pools. AM has nothing to show right now. But we are not allowed to say that because the angry shareholders gang will show up to tell you that you have an ugly face and that your equipment sucks.
1190  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 09, 2014, 01:46:08 AM
You should look at monumental scams in the financial sector (watch American greed as a resource).

One of the perpetrators' main excuses of not being successful is because the authorities were gotten involved just at the "wrong moment" when the supposed legitimate business was about to deliver to their customer what was promised.

Most of them operated as a ponzi robbing Peter to pay Paul. Hashfast is no different.

First thing that comes in mind these days is http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/the-9-billion-witness-20141106

Yeah. That's what pissed me off the most. The only reason I bought was because of the MPP as hashrate "insurance". It's ok, though - if the hashrate were to freeze today, it'd only take me another 28.6 years to recoup what I paid (I just did the math) (before electricity costs).

I would've joined for the full BTC refunds in case of missed deadline. Screw MPP! Good luck I didn't buy it.
1191  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 08, 2014, 06:53:17 PM
I want to know it before ordering and payment.

We found out that dropping the SP20 package may cause the boards to shift.

We got complaints from about 2% of non palletes customers. Most of the units can be fixed at home by replacing the boards.

We halt individual package shipments for one week, until we'll solve the issue.

If you got such SP20, contact support@ for miner assembly guide. If the SP20 was actually damaged, we'll RMA.

Guy

How can you know about a shipping problem before ordering if the product was never shipped before? A bit redundant don't you think?

if am not mistaken this must be cpu miners to be so many and no much hashing as it would have the same result and less electricity with a rockminer 30Ghs...

Waste of resources even if he does not pay for it!!!

Can't be CPU miners. It's an average of ~14GH/s per worker.
Look harder.

Indeed. I'm too used with the TH/s standard.

No and stop bumping this scammers threads.

What do You mean bumping?

Should I not be concerned? Do their buyers have some forum where they are ALL grouped?

Bumping means posting bringing topics back to life after a long period of inactivity.

Have you sent them money? If yes then you should be concerned! I think that there is a 99% chance that you will not see your money back or a miner.

There isn't a place/forum where all their customers gather. Not that I know of.

I had one unit that had the same problem as jtoomim, but restart got the chip back up. I am downgrading to 2.5.6 right now.

After the fire in Thailand on the mining farm.

How can they make up this fictitious amount for 100 Spoondolies?

Spondoolies-Tech confirmed that much of the hardware used in the facility was sourced from them.

The manufacturer's CEO, Guy Corem, told CoinDesk that he had visited the site in late June, when it was primarily populated by about 1,000 Dragon miners and around 100 Spondoolies-Tech miners.

Corem said the facility was expanded shortly after his visit, with hundreds of Spondoolies-Tech SP30 miners. These had operated for more than two months without incident and technical data indicates they were cooled properly, he added.

'Kosher' operation

There has been no official word on the extent of damage suffered by the facility. It is estimated that the farm housed upwards of 2,000 miners when it was destroyed, including about $2m-worth from Spondoolies-Tech alone.

100 sp30 at 2 million is 20k each.  Someone is sharpening the pencil in accounting.

Pay attention to timing please. There were no SP30 in June. Those are SP10 miners...
1199  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Asics Technoligies Question? on: November 07, 2014, 08:57:10 PM
Nobody has received any miner from them.
That may or may not actually be true (some people aren't quite convinced).

See pre-existing topic here: Alternate cryptocurrencies > Mining (Altcoins) :: First Impressions - Mining-asics-technologies.com 250 MH/s Excaliber Miner

That post was started by someone who registered just 1 month ago. That should raise a flag. Also (I haven't read the topic) is he the only one that received a miner from MAT? Also this post is in the BTC Hardware section so I am replying for BTC miners (yes I saw excalibur in OP).
1200  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Nearly burned down my home due to mining farm (tips on how to stay safe ) on: November 07, 2014, 08:04:05 PM
Fires are not cause by the mining machines themselves, they're usually caused by non-electrically trained people overloading the electrical capacity of their cables, or people not maintaining their equipment and cleaning the dust out of it.

 Roll Eyes

Well, I have seen GPU capacity burst out in flame, although its not long but if the fire catch something else then its gone..

GPUs are not equal to ASIC mining rigs.

One thing is bugging me about the recent fire: Why is ~5% of the world hash-power all in one place?

Edit: the German news article said the farm used about 5MW, which would only be 10Petahashes/second at most.
I suppose if I want to be unlazy, I can look up how many machines were supposed to be in the facility.

News flash for you!
