201  Other / Off-topic / Re: Refusing to pay cash!! Is it possible? on: September 16, 2018, 07:35:48 PM
Not only possible, it'll be everyday reality in near future. Cash is too difficult to control for governments, so they are pushing really hard to promote other ways of paying, and what's easier trace than electronic payments?
I know you're talking about cryptos, but in my country that's years behind 1st world card payments are promoted in TV everyday so much I'm sick of it.
In some Scandinavian country it's already possible for shops not to accept cash Shocked I'm worried other countries will follow this path  Sad
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be a national treasure. on: September 16, 2018, 07:28:50 PM
Bitcoin VS gold - I choose gold, because gold is time tested.
Bitcoin VS foreign bonds - that's more interesting question, we don't know how would be bitcoin valuated in the event of some major global crisis e.g. war. Let's hope we will never find out!
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys trade Cryptos? on: September 16, 2018, 07:17:59 PM
With good projects the best way to trade is to not trade at all.
For all other needs just try to find an exchange that won't scam you - that's 50% of success, LOL - sad but true.
You're mentioning forex - it's also very scammy market, it's difficult to find broker that won't scam you and offer reasonable fees.

BTW I think this post doesn't belong to this forum's section.
204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounty Hunters ! Must read before join any bounty campaign. on: September 16, 2018, 07:12:37 PM
Too much work  Sad
Just join what others are joining and hope for the best  Grin
Or do exactly opposite, join something that's flying under the radar of majority of people and stick to it.
I understand your good intentions but it's really difficult to execute in reality.
205  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to lose weight? on: September 16, 2018, 06:54:55 PM
Try taking chromium supplements. It regulates glucose level in your blood stopping your hunger for sweets and makes you overall less hungry, because you become hungry if glucose level in your blood is low (at least it's one of the reasons). For example I was addicted to sweets and eating sweets was making me hungry, because if you eat sweets you'll get high glucose level, which will trigger insulin response which will lead to low glucose level in your blood = hunger. Just don't mix it with thyme and other drugs/ supplements/ herbs affecting your glucose level.
206  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX is driving me crazy- What should i do? on: September 16, 2018, 06:45:32 PM
That is best known as SCAMMING, else the best approach would have been to give a deadline for those unwilling to verify theirs to withdraw and close the account. The policy wasn't there at the onset, so about the time they thought to introduce it, any good company would not settle to rob its clients and that exactly what Poloniex, Bittrex (both American companies) have done hiding under the cover of verification.

Well said, but I wouldn't limit it to USA, companies in my country does the same - and by "companies" I mean cryptocurrency exchanges, what's even "better" they hide this fact from users, I was trying to find anything about it on website of one of the exchanges and there was nothing except vague, broad mentions of "verification" in the terms & conditions, tried to contact them to find details and it took about a week to get info. Of course such behaviour (locking clients funds) is unacceptable and I think you would win in every court if you would take your case there, no matter what country (except, of course, if it's in country's law).
207  Other / Off-topic / Re: Looking for Beta Testers With My Wordpress/Altcoin Plugin. on: September 16, 2018, 03:15:05 PM
So this is for PoS coins only? I think I could find use for something like this but for Ethereum token, where the staking is just locking token for predetermined amount of time and then paying user bonus for hodling their coins. And a standalone version with some kind of API so I could use it on external sites.

Update: "staking pool": OK, I missed that bit.
208  Other / Off-topic / Re: What budget phone should I buy in 2018?? on: September 15, 2018, 11:30:27 PM
What I've got is Moto G5S by Lenovo and I can't really fault it. Sure, there are some areas where even more budget 1/2 price Huawei was better but I think it's because this Moto has clean Android whereas Huawei had some sort of customisation. And I got great case for it which is also pretty important.
209  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jesus Christ is comming back here on: September 15, 2018, 11:17:05 PM
He promised He will be back in one generation, people trusted him and what happened nothing? Maybe some important things prevented Him from appearing on Earth again? Or maybe...
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luck in cryptoeconomics is a myth? on: September 15, 2018, 10:59:33 PM
Luck plays great role, you can't underestimate power of luck. Project may be great, good marketing etc. but then something unthinkable happen e.g. bitcoin goes down to $1. Or some big company enters with project same as yours, just x10000 bigger userbase and funds - all done secretly.
This of course can lead to opposite outcome, when shitty project gets pumped to the moon by sheer luck.
211  Other / Off-topic / Re: About Money and You on: September 15, 2018, 10:39:35 PM
Looks like my hands aren't too good.
I mean, I could have a lot but I had weak hands. And when finally I realized I need strong hands market decides otherwise. Just my luck :|
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD WE GET ALL HATERS OF BITCOIN OUT OF HERE? on: September 15, 2018, 10:21:19 PM
No, we shouldn't because if we would then Bitcointalk would become circle jerk and not a forum.
Internet forums should allow all kind of people to voice their opinion.
And just by browsing topics on this forum they may become bitcoin believers themselves.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY CAMPAIGN ?? on: September 15, 2018, 10:16:37 PM
You never know, I wouldn't pass a campaign only because spreadsheets aren't updated on time, you should join campaigns based on potential reward. Generally spreadsheets are stepback, I remember bitmixer signature campaign and they had site that automatically calculated your reward etc.
If they don't pay on time it's another matter entirely.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good or bad idea!!!! on: September 15, 2018, 10:07:16 PM
Whatever brings you money is good investment (if it's legit and not some kind of scam).
If you ask such question it means your budget is pretty big - then it's nobrainer to invest in both. Shares are more stable so invest most there and put small percentage into crypto.
Good luck
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen? on: September 15, 2018, 09:57:41 PM
Cryptocurrencies entered mainstream, I can see their ads during football matches etc. But their usage as currencies still isn't mainstream and God knows if it will ever be. ICOS are new way to fund companies ideas - just like crowdfunding but targeted to other kind of people. BTCtalk is still the same Smiley
216  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX is driving me crazy- What should i do? on: September 15, 2018, 09:47:04 PM
I can't understand how there's still some people with unverified accounts at Poloniex. I remember seeing their warning that all accounts must be verified last year! Your coins are safe, and they're yours, but I guess you don't care about them. Otherwise, you would have started the verification process long time ago.

LOL, "you don't care about them (coins)".
Maybe some people care more about their privacy? In my country it's illegal for a company to ask for a copy of your ID card/ passport etc. You dont know what they're going to do it with them and who can access these copies if they store them. It's a good case for a lawyer.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum’s Constantinople Hard Fork! on: September 15, 2018, 09:34:29 PM
This will be the hard fork of main Ethereum network, not one resulting in network split and creation of new network like it happened after infamous DAO hack rollback which led to appearance of new coin - Ethereum Classic, am I right?
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TXC] TenXcoin | The Social Currency of the Digital Age on: September 15, 2018, 09:27:50 PM
So with your token we will be able to make in-app purchases? Care to show us list of apps that will work with your token? At least please show one app so we'll know it's for real.
And regarding dAPPs, are you planning something besides chat related ones?
219  Other / Off-topic / Re: HEALTH IS WEALTH on: September 15, 2018, 09:03:16 PM
I have chronic illness, 8 years not diagnosed, I visited tens of doctors in 2 different countries, when finally they found what's wrong with me, guess what - they don't really care. That's how universal, "free" health system works. I can really relate to what you say. Worst of that is that I lost significant (car/ flat worth) amount of crypto money due to my health problems. I would rather be dead and leave that money for my family that live the miserable life I'm living currently. If anyone would like to help me in some way don't hesitate to PM me  Smiley
That sounds like a horrible experience. I know it can be very frustrating when doctors don't take your condition seriously. Some things can be very hard to diagnose. Doctors are usually very busy, so sometimes they don't take the time to look into something they really don't understand. The best thing to do is search to try to find doctors who are actually doing research on your illness or similar symptoms. Perhaps you can find other people who have similar symptoms and you can find a solution together. I wish you luck!

Thanks.
Solution is simple but it requires money which I don't have, nor do I have health insurance - it's "free" in my country, but I lost it due to fact that I'm too I'll to work but my condition is not regarded as so serious that I could qualify for free healthcare.
Free healthcare isn't enough in my case because there are too many people using it which means I can only receive treatment once per several months and to make an appointment to some doctors is simply impossible, because they don't make new appointments. To get appointment for GP you need to stand 2 hours in front of practice - from 6am to 8am, when they open it. You may arrange appointment by phone but it'll be for 2-3 weeks from the date of the call.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone becoming the holder? on: September 15, 2018, 08:46:46 PM
Because not everyone entered the market same time as you. You lost most of your investment, so this is real, hard loss, but many people invested much, much earlier so they're only losing potential profit. And even with losing capital you can win in long term by doing some business on Blockchain etc.
