What is the point of PoW mining if 1 pool controls all block generation and all transaction confirmation? For that matter, why do you even need a block chain if the design of the coin is to be centrally controlled?
The whole point of PoW and block chains is to create an exchange between untrusted partners with decentralized confirmation by consensus through PoW. This entire project seems to rely on trust in a single mining pool and a single source of transaction confirmation.
they have released their source code so I could add a pool on my site, but to be honest - there's something that just doesn't sit well with me about this coin yet... though I will keep an open mind. I mined about 50 coins this morning before switching back to conventional coins - we shall see.

any news on when cryptsy finishes the wallet update?
I emailed support, they said no eta, but would email me when it was, my experience with non functional wallets at cryptsy and it's extensive is that it takes 5 to 7 days from the date it's reported before they have it working again.

take a look, not very bad.any free coins for the first page posters?
Hello, We will post some discount % vouchers for the first 100 posters for use in our online shop after the launch store is all well and good but the exchanges will tell the truth about the value of the coin. actually no, exchanges usually fake the value for their own profit. Real world usage will tell the real price it's impossible because only the buy and sell walls set the price - not the exchange.

you guys really need to release the source code - really and do it now

it would be nice if you had a US Based stratum since all of my hash rate are about 15% lower using your EU based stratums - when will you have a US Based Stratum?

I have to say _ think this is some sort of elaborate scam - but prove me wrong.
15 minutes ago their caculator saud my coins would be worth $175
15 minutes later it says: $65.00
the coin is not even listed on an exchange yet and it's dropping in value faster than a hot rock,
The calculator is based off the pool/net hashrate vs your own hashrate. This is how much 1 MidasCoin is worth right now, and this value goes up. This is only fictional, you cannot say that coin worth some amount if noone is buying/selling, no exchange This is not a fictional value, because you can exchange coins today on http://miodaspay.io/shop into Gold or USD for a Midas MasterCard. What Bank is the MidasCoin Mastercard issued through - since only Banks can issue Mastercards

guy - you have serious problem with your block chain
it's taking 10 to 30 minutes to find a block and no one else has access to the block chain other than your own pool.
I think people are getting ripped off hash wise and you guys are using the hash for other reasons
