1041  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: June 01, 2014, 11:00:40 AM
jjj, I've been looking around for prices.
The next best thing (in terms of prices of course - nobody has seen products to factor in quality) is the alpha technologies Viper miner selling at 5.540 GBP (about 6.700 EU).
This translates to 27 Euro / MHs for a single Viper unit at 250MHs.
I may be missing some new competitor, of course, but the Excalibur offer comes at 22 Euro/MHs with the added benefit of getting TWO units so you can split mine or lower the risk of a single unit malfunction.
This to me is "too good to be true" and the reason why I wanted to visit Mining ASICs at CEBE.

A little background. I've been following these guys closely since they first made their announcement.

After doing a lot of due diligence of the individuals involved in the company before I decided to get in early and pre order a 125 MH unit.

About two weeks after I made my pre-order KNC announced they would be doubling their hash rates.

Mining-asics responded with a 2 for 1 promotion.

for me it all boils down to hash/$ and at $44/MH with their 2 x 125 offer it's simply incredible.

I know prices will continue to fall but we have yet to break the $100/MH barrier so waiting till the end of July or beginning of August is something I can live with at those prices.

besides - I'm already working with 164/mh right now.

I've had numerous conversations with Marc from Mining Asics and he has shared development progress with me and also how long it takes for certain things to happen development and manufacturing wise. I'm not a spring chicken and over the years I think I've become a fairly astute judge of character and I'm confident they'll deliver a quality product. In summary he's been totally transparent except in certain instances where an NDA prohibited him.

So - now I'm getting two 125MH units for the price of one. As it relates to "too good to be true" I'm not sure what you refer to to... 125 MH in a box (easily attainable since the Chinese are already pushing 90mh with Insilicon chips - I know I own an 85 MH unit) or the two for one promotion?

regardless - I know that KNC is their primary competitor in this arean right now although there's a british company that says they'll have a 250 MH unit out in July.

Personally - I do NOT WANT a 250mh asic miner. a 250 MH unit limits you to either dodge or ltc - no other coins can handle that kind of hash. I like to mine to new releases and the last thing you want to do is cripple you own ability to mine by blowing up network hash and attracting a lot of attention from multi-pools.

the entire concept of men with proven business backgrounds going to lengths like this to scam people is preposterous in my mind...especially when I know they're working on their miners and will deliver in the time frame promised. I know their schedules and what's to be done - because they've shared it all with me in conversations.

but - hey - we all make our own decisions and the best we can do if get a comfort level we can live with. I think choosing Minin asics over KNC was the right choice for me personally.

Next time you try to make a coin have the decency to check if your pathetic wallet isn't overwriting a previously created coin. This is trying to save blockchain data under Roaming/Credits, directory which is already used by Credits CR. This is pathetic.

Take your stupid coin and shove it up your fucking asses you worthless imbeciles.

I'm out here...

Many Thanks Rimba for your report from CEBE.

I was planning to visit myself but couldn't make it.

Mining ASICS Technologies has made a very bold statement and what they offer falls squarely under the "too good to be true" category.

I find it really unbelievable that they went through all this trouble to show a box just standing there.

Didn't they show any ASICs from their partner, any brochures with technical details on their products, not even turning on the prototype?
To deliver something like this by July you can't possibly be at a stage where your prototypes don't even function!!

I'd love to hear more from Mining Tech - bold claims need bold followup!

what is ""too good to be true" Huh

At what block does PoW end?

it's not important - the developers and 'kids' behind this coin are imbasils - they had the world by the balls and they blew it with their childish behavior and open forum accusations.

the coin was headed for 10,000 and now it's doomed to shitcoin status...

well done you idiots....

mark my words - it will be at 1 satoshi in two week without a single buy order because they blew it.

early miners are standing in line to dump this coin asap...as soon as it hits 3500 - they dump and drive it right back into the 2's

1047  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: June 01, 2014, 02:49:15 AM
so...... i was there. it was in fact a stand from them with a "bit coin miner prototype" it was not on and you cannot test it, of course they didn't have any script prototype and to be honest the guy there didn't seem to know much about the product. he said the first batch will be delivered on july and still they don't have a machine to show or test..... and they have this  "offer" buy 1 and get 2 of the 250Mhz machines....

i don't know all looked fishy to me....

I agree - spend a bunch of money to get a booth at a show and dummy up some bx just to rip people off...

LOL

I'm not saying it's fake or real but operating under the assumption that people won't go through extraordinary effort to run a scam is ignorant.

LOL

Tokyoghetto is the scammer.

According to the messages he made public, he agreed to 10K HYPER as a gesture of goodwill in exchange for an amiable parting of ways. So I sent him the HYPER.

Instead, he mercilessly dumped all his HYPER, including my gift, causing everyone who purchased today to lose money. He's made a lot of BTC by ripping off everyone here.

God knows what he would have done if I had actually given him the market fund.

Now we can move on, aiming for similar exchange rates to today when the project has matured a little more, and there is no tokyo to dump his entire stash.

I only sold 10k hyper. I even took a screenshot of the trade. One trade @ 15k satoshi. The market dumped the rest. I wouldn't consider 1.5 BTC a lot. If you had given me the fund, Hyper wouldn't be trading at 4000 satoshi, I am sure of that. Higher prices were in this coins future until you screwed it up with your bi-polar behavior.

Stop trying to justify yourself. you broke your agreement. you have been exposed as someone who is not to be trusted.

I hope you guys manage to pump this baby up to at least 20k satoshi so I can sell the rest of the coins I mined fairly.

you of all people should realize that dumping a lot of coins in one sell always drives down a market - that was stupid...and not in the best interest of the coin.

I'm selling 2 x pre-order of the Alpha Technology Viper SCRYPT 50 MH/s miner, purchased January 2014.

This is the 1st batch pre-order.

Selling for 6.8 BTC each, or only 11 BTC for both. PM me for transaction details.

They are set to ship to me, I will take care of either shipping it to you in July, or have it shipped directly to you in July from Alpha-Technology.

have they been paid for in full or is there still a balance due?

1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: STOCK B2 35MH/S LITECOIN MINER/3400USD with Shipping on: May 30, 2014, 07:26:16 PM
$3,400 is too much for a 35 MH unit  - especially direct from chinese manufacturer

for heavens sake - the unit only cost $800 to build.

get the price down to $2,999 and I might consider it since you have no references at ALL!

for the time being.. I'll stick with Hashra!

Well, i read some about Doubloons, and seems like there is allot of problem, and more than one blockchain. and you can't deposit to cryptsy.

i had leftover server, so i tried setting up a pool http://dbl.btcfarming.com

I used the source from Github, i have not goten any orphands, and look like i am synqed with the offical explorer. but until cryptsy open for deposit again, so i am not sure if i am on the right chain.

I even offered the new Dev a bounty for getting it fixed but he never responded.

go figgur...

I can now confirm that 100 000 to 200 000 HYPER will be issued in IPO format to raise BTC for the market stabilization fund and to hire a primary dev / coder for the MMO. IPO will take place through a reputable escrow and BTC fund will be 100% transparent. There will be stages to the IPO with increasing rates to purchase the HYPER.

This will happen soon (1-3 days) and will be managed by Collegestudent who is an Asiacoin dev and has played a key role in that coin's revival!

Thank you to everyone who is supporting HYPER Wink
