Anyone know why its on the rise?? Very happy to see some life in the thing. Did Dirac halve or something?

yes - the days of the incredible deals are over - plus I waved my magic wand over the computer.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: May 23, 2014, 02:55:22 PM
However we are not the only coin going down.... Nearly all coins went down 50% this week, except darkcoin. Take a look at Cinni, BC.... all down

unfortunately we fall at a higher % than BTC grew...

I am hopeful that NAUT will come back.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: May 23, 2014, 02:29:43 PM
funny but the sell off started long before it hit cryptsy.

they sell off began as soon as it was linked to the shit coins. (which I did post dire warnings about the consequences and I hate to say I was right - BUT I WAS RIGHT! LOL)

right now though :  IT IS WAS IT IS - risk, reward and return go hand in hand.

and I'm on the the ride..and all the bitching in the world is not going to move the market

I may even go back to mining it again - for right now I'll sit on my coins and enjoy (or not) the fact that I'm finally on a Top 100 list (although I'd prefer to be off the list and be out at 8 or 9 : LOL)

1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DBL] Doubloons: Pirate Currency on: May 23, 2014, 02:19:26 PM
On Kripsty not reach DBL
They say that the developer is to blame DBL
They did not work purse
But I have the same work!
So they lie?
Technical support and wrote that he does not want to host DBL solve the problem!
What do I do?
DBL gone!

if you look at this post:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=206361.msg6864105#msg6864105

You'll see the DEV is working on the problem and will get this fixed and we thank him for that.

I'm trying to get the wallet fired up for solo mining and it keep telling me that every port I've selected thus far is incompatible with the requested protocol used..

I've tried the default of 1337 and 1336 and up in the 4's and 6000 - nothing yet.

ideas?

sumting wong! LOL

That is about as good as I have found for coin switching pools.  Of course you can do better mining a single coin - lots better, or possibly lots worse.

I am working on setting up 10 miners (btc and scrypt), a full time job, kids, etc. and devoting hours every day to researching coins ... All I can say is I will do it when I can.  In the meantime, coin switching pools provide stable (if paltry) income.

If there is a better coin switching pool, I am all ears!!

If you give me a % of your proceeds I'll advise you or manage your server for you. I can get you over $100/day off that hash  NO PROBLEM!!

ps: this is your skype friend in the U.S.

WOw, guess avoid Scrypt mining at all costs right now!   Shocked

$44/day on a +$10,000 investment, over 255 days to ROI....

That sucks, man.    Sad

yes  - STAY WITH BTC!!!

If you are just now getting into Scrypt mining...you already missed the train by about 8 months...

That's the attitude!  Roll Eyes

Maybe you meant:

If you are just now getting into Scrypt mining for pure profit and greed...you already missed the train by about 8 months...

Also yes I went large for profit, but I also do a lot of other stuff to help LTC...so not just greedy.

I disagree - there are great opportunities out there you just have to spend the time researching....

that guy should take his hash over to ltcrabbit.com - he'd get paid a lot more...

ps: I know you want to discourage new mining competitors : LOL

So, any review on the latest miner?

Tomorrow.  FYI I am running 72 hours straight, no failures, no drop outs, no problems (LA90M).  Mining is consistent at 87 Mh/s with old firmware.  My review will include upgrading firmware and a peek at the internals too.  If I have time I may try running a stock rPi as controller just to be able to play with the settings a little.

I am running on the wemineall.com public pool for now.  They gave me a vip server for this monster, but I had way too many rejects on the private server.  wemineall is having a private server added via support ticket that will be tweaked for my unit.  My 1% donation to wemineall is paying huge dividends, highly recommend them.

FWIW, I am currently the #1 contributor to wemineall, and #2 in BTC per day (sorry for table formatting, I still can't figure out how to post a table) .. note my total also includes a 5 Mh/s gridseed blade, but most all of hashing is the LA90M:

Rank   User Name        Shares       Weighted For Diff
1    zerocylinders   1,936       244,033

At the current BTC price of $514 your making around $43/day. With a cost of $10,999 it looks like ROI will be 255 days?

Edit: Not taking into account any difficulty changes.

what Huh?

I make $44/day off 28 mhs

sumting wong! LOL

Went off of the wemineall BTC/day estimate Smiley

that's frigging horrible!!!

here's something I'm mining and I know it's accurate because I have days of this type of performance

FYI we have been buying as much as we can, but clearly we are seeing the limitations of only a 1% pre-mine.

The "stabalization fund" was created by premining NAUT.  So it is denominated in NAUT.  So how are you using it to buy NAUT?

When we sell we use the proceeds to buy.

So you have to dump 160,000 coins to buy back 160,000 coins?

How is this a good idea?

You posted your buy orders.

Now, can you post your sell orders?

My guess is that your stabilization fund sunk the price in the first place; therefore, destabilizing the price so you can then step in and save it...from yourself.

Anybody expect anything less from a banker coin?

Haha!

you need to mine that Conspiracy coin -- LOL
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: May 22, 2014, 05:10:47 PM
NSF Update

FYI we have been buying as much as we can, but clearly we are seeing the limitations of only a 1% pre-mine.  If BTC continues to rise AND miners sell indiscriminately the NSF can only do so much.

What is fascinating to me is that the NSF will buy at any price, so why a miner would sell at these prices is unclear.

FYI - I have also bought more NAUT last evening as high as 34k for my personal account.

-BK

panic selling - plain and simple - defies logic...

but people are emotional creatures - that why professional investors exist - to protect people from themselves.

You guys - should read this book - it's great
