201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Global Impact of Bitcoin Remittances on: January 24, 2024, 07:41:43 PM
It has played a lot for the remittance sector where many starts to just send Bitcoin to anyone in the world and they'll be the one to exchange it for themselves.

Whilst the most impactful thing that Bitcoin did isn't with the remittance but as an asset, a store of value that made its class and people more interested about it.

But with this use, this means that it's going to be used with its other features mainly for transfers. Although some problem that even the fees are also becoming highly volatile.  Grin

I see the domain refpaiozdg.top used twice.

Please let me know if it's correct reference.

Cheers,
Yes, that's the correct domain/URL i'm pointing to.
I've gained access using some other IPs connecting to that domain and it has really blocked those that I've used. But using the normal one won't get me block.

I think with ublock extensions or any that has the same function is being tracked or recognized for that domain and automatically blocks the guest.

But using without that, it normally access megapari.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 22, 2024, 11:53:48 PM
Forget about the what if if the kid won a million with that amount. The value is important here that when they're still young, we should teach them valuable lesson that money or anything that doesn't belongs to them shouldn't be spent by them.

That's the important matter at this point so that kids won't be tolerated. And if you've got a way to punish your kids that they're going to learn the lesson, do it.

Because that's what you're going to make them remember that what they did is wrong.
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Self control cannot be neglected as an early investor on: January 22, 2024, 07:33:00 PM
It's okay if you have already did it as that's part of your personal happiness. But if you want to become a long term holder, what you have to think of is soon if you do, you'll be able to buy a lot of games.

Not to say a lot but tons of games that you're going to get bored because you've been patient with your holdings and accumulation.

Self control and patience and at the same time delay the gratification will help you a lot on this phase of being a long term holder. If we're going to say it, "if we did, you can".
205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Post-ETF effect: Has Bitcoin Bottomed yet? on: January 21, 2024, 11:38:53 PM
Without that much technical explanation about what was happening. I'll apply the logic about going up and low.

Like when the market's high, everyone should expect that there's an upcoming drop. In short, if something comes down then it should come up anytime soon.

If Bitcoin has bottomed already, we'll start to see the newer higher lows soon but before that there's the halving coming soon and it's the same with the effect of Bitcoin Spot ETF that it will take time to impact.
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: January 21, 2024, 10:20:27 PM
* Watching one two or three video's on YouTube by one YouTube influencer and think they are ready for it or thinking they have known the craft.
That's true.

Having to watch some YouTube influencers that they've shown them their winning trades and thought that if it happened to them, they can manage to win as well those trades.

Little did they know that those trades they've made were conducted in futures and as they thought it is an easy thing. They're wrong on that assumption and instead that they've made profit, they've just gained losses.

207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 21, 2024, 05:21:39 PM
If it's going to be the actual trade, poor D'LO. Goes to a team that's no way going to be a champion caliber with their roster. I've read that Cousins has talked about Trae Young that he should leave the team and asked to get traded if he wants to get a championship.

That makes sense, it's going to be D'Lo that's going to be left there and not gonna be a good team to continue honestly.

A win for the Lakers but poor thing D'Lo gets transferred.
TBH, I'm thinking that D'Lo will just be one of the many players out there that will never get a title in their whole NBA career.
When the floor is there for him to step up, and help offensively, he can't do it, and instead did the opposite.
We hate to admit it but that's likely what will happen. We know what are the teams that are really investing on their roster and trying to get a title for every season.

It's a bad thing when your name is already in the trading blocks, but that's what NBA is. If you aren't playing very well for your team, you will be in the trading block. Just look at LaVine. The expectations of the Bulls for him is very high that they gave him a max contract, but can't deliver the way the management wanted. Yes he's still a threat to offense, but he can't lead his team ever since he was there. As for D'Lo, I will not be surprised if he will get traded, if not on the Hawks, but on another team.
This is the worst nightmare of those players that have probably their home but then, the scare is there and they're fearing to get transferred if they're aiming for the title. But just like any other player that have done so many things for the title, they'll have to step up their game and show everyone what they can do and what they deserve.

On the other hand, I hope that the Hawks will decline this one because they will be losing badly on this one. You will be trading a player that's good on both offense, and defense to a player who is for me a worse version of him. The Lakers must add another role player on the trade like Rui Hachimura, or Austin Reaves.
While this trade is rumored, some opinions about Trae needs to ask for a trade to get a ring is also on the grounds.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 20, 2024, 11:40:42 AM
Poor D'Lo, his name keeps popping up for a trade between the Lakers and the Hawks,

And as per report, the trade might look like this,

Lakers get:
- Dejounte Murray

Hawks get:
- D’Angelo Russell
- Jalen Hood-Schifino
- 2029 1st round pick
- Additional Draft Comp

It's not yet final and official, but it looks like after playing good in the last couple of games for the Lakers, D'Lo is on the move again.

Even if you want this to be the welcoming thread for many newbies, you won't stop the them from making new threads about the topics that they want to learn.

Or just some usual conversations and discussions that they want to have. What is best for the newbies to learn is the links that have been dropped and the stickies related to the threads, sections and forum rules.

It's like a go-to first for most of you but do not forget to enjoy your stay.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No one has gone broke taking profits, always take profits. on: January 20, 2024, 07:32:36 AM
I’m not against on selling your coins, but always know when to hold and when to sell. That way, you will be able to make a wise decision that you won’t dare to regret in the future.
That is one lesson I've learned. If you have to sell, do it and don't get any validations from the other people just because you haven't sold or you have sold already.

Know your needs and when the right time to sell because it is only you that can determine when you have to sell or not. But most likely if it's about taking profits, all of us need to have it.

Don't wait to a point of your life that you'll think about regretting that you haven't sold during the bull run even at least a bit of your holdings.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Higher and lower risks in gambling is the gamblers choice. on: January 19, 2024, 11:45:35 PM
It doesn't matter when you bet on games that you like. It's either you take the bet against your favorite team because the odds are better.

Or you just fully support them by simple betting with them regardless of the odds that the bookies show. The choice is on us and that's right but if you're for the money, there's no favoritism by that time.

Because what matters to you is you just want to win that money and even if you're a die hard fan, the team or players that you like won't be able to feed you or they will be able to feed you by their game and with your bet.  Grin
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the export of goods related to manufacturing capabilities or resources? on: January 19, 2024, 06:23:33 PM
The availability of the resources, materials and services from the countries that does export is really have the edge on this world. We see it from cars, smartphones, devices, in the health care and more.

I think that being capable of producing those things is related and proportionate to each other having the resources. As where the resources are, the government is capable to export and sees the opportunity within and that's where the manufacturing comes from.

If they know that they're capable of doing it, they'll have to do it before any other countries sees that opportunity that's already inside of them.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is buying like me on: January 19, 2024, 03:27:05 PM
Bitcoin Etf approval brought joy to our faces, yes another win for bitcoin, then how much more would the next halving bring,  right now all I'm doing Is buying, I was DCAING gently before, but right now no one hold me, no more gentle buys, cause right now I'm pumped, I'm dancing for the bull run, I wasn't part of the last halving cause just recently started my bitcoin journey and I can't wait to brag about beign one of the next bull run partakers. Start buying 🦾
Then you have to brace yourself for you're going to witness the effect of halving + the Bitcoin spot ETF soon. Don't be hasty on it because we'll get there.

Just wait for several months up to next year and then you'll see the greatness of this market for the bull run that it is going to perform. If you've been DCAing before, keep on doing it because you might regret that you haven't stack a lot.

We've got few opportunities as the time passes by, soon, another halving will come and the lowest price might be higher than what it is today.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 18, 2024, 11:06:24 PM
There are a lot of fans waiting for someone to knock Inoue out. But even if we want to see that happen someday, if he's on his prime and he don't want to accept offers outside his home country then we just better accept the fact that he's always at advantage.

For fighters like Casimero, it doesn't matter if he's gonna have the fight inside or outside the host country. What matters to him is that he should fight him soon. Well, he's been mentioned by the Inoue's camp that he's likely to get boxed at the end of this year.

But it's still a long time and we'll see the development of it.

I think Inoue is about in his prime at this stage, in his 30's and we all know that is the age wherein boxer are really performing at a high level and so it's really hard to see how someone can beat Inoue even John Riel Casimero, who is about to hit his sunset at he is in the mid 30's if I'm not mistaken. And perhaps this is the reason why he keep on calling Inoue because he knows that in the next couple of years, he will be in the decline. Unfortunately, he has nothing to offer to Inoue, he doesn't have the belt, all his wins in 122 lbs are not that convincing. While Nery has been campaigning here for years and in the top of the division and correct me if I'm wrong, he is the mandatory challenger for one of Inoue's belt and that's why they said that they are going to fight him first after winning all the belts at super bantam.
What's just good with Casimero is that he is persistent and have it on his mind that he's going to beat Inoue. That's actually the spirit of a boxer and from a champion, Inoue knows best and he's unbeatable at the moment.

No reasons or excuses that need to be made and at the same time, this is just pure business for both ends. If given the chance that Casimero is able to box Inoue.

I'm sure that both of them are going to give their best but I am on the side of Inoue still because the fighting style of Casimero will easily be stomped by Inoue's rythm and power.
215  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Phemedrone Stealer targeting crypto wallets, do not click URL shorteners on: January 18, 2024, 08:53:13 PM
Those who likes to click random links they see on the groups that they are will be vulnerable to this but if you're someone that don't get along with those links randomly, you're going to be fine.

Do not download as well from unofficial and random sources for the files that you need. They're all taking advantages of it, coming from giveaways, and also I remember the airdrop folks, you're prone to this stealer.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: The world's logic favours income makers, not the savers on: January 18, 2024, 06:37:56 AM
People usually have the illusion that by saving money they are making a great deal, while in fact, the truth is that to save is nearly to useless when thinking on achieving financial progress in life.
I wouldn't say that it is an illusion but it is what we've been taught when we were young and we've brought it up as we grow older. The problem is  we've sticked to this idea that we're going to get rich by just saving alone. But once you're there with the reality and understanding it, it's not even close to it.

An independent middle class citizen, without the burden of a family on his back, can save enough money to buy the car of his dreams or the property he always desired living on, since he is commited to these goals, making a lot of effort and cuts on his expenses in order to accumulate enough money for that.

It's not easy, but not impossible, anyway. However, even though the system allows him to achieve those purchases, it doesn't allow him to maintain the patrimony and vehicle, because to possess such goods, someone has to pay yearly taxes to the government. The more expensive your car is, the higher the tax you are going to pay. The more expensive your house is and the best localized it is, the higher will be the tax to be paid.

To have to pay an annual tax for something you own and paid with your own money to possess is ridiculous...
That's actually how the system works. I guess that it's also injected to our minds that someone needs to own a car and it's part of everyone's dream. The problem is, if you can't afford it but you wanna have it asap, you're going to take loans and apart from the taxes.

You'll also have to bear with the interest that you'll have to pay aside from the downpayment and for how many years you agree to pay for it. I'll choose peace of mind that of that.

Because if I can't afford it with cash, I won't buy it.

This evil rigged system never allows a middle class hard working person to reach too further on improving his life standards. If he doesn't have a large income, he won't reach anywhere. To be a disciplined saver along decades of his life isn't enough.
And while the rest complains about the system, the others are using it as an opportunity and try to look for better solutions for themselves. I know that these systems really plays a big part to our lives and how we become successful but, we have to adjust and find ways to survive.

Moral of the story: don't save money for more than one month. As soon as you accumulated some amount of fiat, put it into an investment and make it generate passive income for you, although you should avoid banking investments, since they usually pay below the inflation.
It is okay to save for emergency purposes that we're not foreseeing. But if you don't like to save and you want to put that into investments, make sure that investment or asset you're allotting money is highly liquid just in case for unforeseen matters.

Go for Bitcoin and assets when there isn't enough money to invest in something bigger. There is no assurance you will defeat the evil rigged system which smash common citizens, but at least you will be trying to overcome it...
It is one of the best ways that we've known and thankful with. Bitcoin never disappoints but it's not easy too because it requires patience just as any other investments.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 17, 2024, 11:46:26 PM
for now, i don't think casimero has the chance to fight inoue, considering in the next 6 months or a year. there will be other boxers in line before him. but i do agree, there are so many boxing fans waiting for this match. just think of the thread here before dedicating for these 2. we had a long discussion but didn't come to reality. as they are claiming before that inoue was quite scared of casimero's strength inside the ring. well, we haven't seen them yet inside the ring. so that is yet to be seen.
There are a lot of fans waiting for someone to knock Inoue out. But even if we want to see that happen someday, if he's on his prime and he don't want to accept offers outside his home country then we just better accept the fact that he's always at advantage.

218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Xmr mixed with Btc, good idea? on: January 17, 2024, 10:07:08 PM
We're going to have hybrid with that idea of yours. The possibility is there to make it like that but will the developers do that? IMHO, there's no need to do that.

Both have their own beauties. As for XMR, the privacy is there and as for Bitcoin, it has its own feature and protocol for anonymity.

So, if you are for the privacy and you want to keep your transactions in that form then it's simple and so you have to use XMR or any other privacy coins.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 16, 2024, 11:20:49 PM
The Lakers players and coaching staff should look for the cause of their failures in team chemistry instead of trying to get rid of role players. Sure, guys like DLo, Reaves, Rui are sometimes very inconsistent, but I still believe these guys can be very useful to the team when they find their right rhythm of play.
I agree on this one. They may be inconsistent sometimes but these players have shown that in the times of need, they're there and they can perform well.

More time to get together and they'll be able to build chemistry. Most teams should just learn from the Nuggets journey that they don't have that much superstar caliber with their line up but they've built chemistry and they've won their first ever ring.

By the way, the last rumor I saw is that the Lakers are interested in Dejounte Murray, but they don't want to include Reaves in that deal.
While for me, Reaves is like a liability of defense but in offense he's good at and we've got a lot of that in the past so that's what I think Lakers is trying to keep.
220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can we understand market going to be Bear? on: January 16, 2024, 09:37:10 PM
We know better cryptocurrency market always unpredictable. Yet we invest in the cryptocurrency market. Sometimes the market gradually turns to bear.
My question is how do we know if the market will go bearish.
The signs are there like everything is dropping. But one big sign is every after the bull run, we always get to see it for every cycle.

We're going to bull run assuming this 2024 up to 2025 and then expect that the bullish turn will happen by 2026 or even by the end of 2025.

That's based on the pattern that we've seen all over these past years when we've been into the bull run.
