Very understandable why it seems like Liverpool is fighting hard to climb to the top of the table, seeing that they are just one point behind that of Arsenal.
But then, climbing to the top of the table, which is that first position is not really the matter or issue rather, the real issue is staying there.
Last week, Aston villa(if I am not mistaken) was in that first position, and one week later, they are now in the third position while Liverpool that was probably the third Same last week is not second, and Arsenal that was second last week is not first again after having lost that position to Aston villa previously.
So, this is to say that the competition is really high at the moment, climbing to the top is not the issue, but the issue is staying there.

I can't fathom what's happening with Mancity anymore; they keep dropping points. Mancity surged ahead, leading by two goals and seemingly securing the win, but then, Crystal Palace equalized in the final minutes. To be fair, Mancity dominated almost the entire match, but in the last 15 minutes of the half, they lost what was almost a precious victory for them at the moment.
Perhaps the most regrettable was the perplexing foul by Foden, leading to a penalty in the final added minutes. It was an unbelievable ending because Palace hardly created any dangerous opportunities throughout the game. This outcome really puts Mancity in a tough spot in the championship race as they are currently trailing Liverpool by 3 points, having played one more match.
Manchester City didn't have any problem with scoring goals. But this time the problem was with defending their goal post. They got ahead by 2-0 against a much smaller opponent at their home stadium but couldn't maintain this advantage in the second half. There was a huge difference between their effort in the first and second halves.  I didn't expect Aston Villa to perform so well this season. I think this result shows that in the first half of the season Aston Villa was able to appear consistently in every match.I think the final wake up game that Aston Villa played was the one against Manchester City. I thought I could not trust my eyes when I had a look at the game statistics. Aston Villa only won 1-0, but they outplayed Manchester City on all fronts and I don't know when Manchester City was dominated that much. Well I'd say that those periods were times that City had her ups and downs, they're still yet to get back into the usual expected form because they also had a share of points at home to Crystal Palace which is definitely so unlike the normal City everyone knows. Experience is not always a benchmark for making a club great, the way Xabi and Tuchel work is of course different in managing their players, Munich will face Stuttgart if they fail again, of course this will make it easier for Leverkusen to stay at the top of the standings. If it is prolonged or in the long term something similar continues to happen where the League is used as place to make money or the financial interests of each ruling individual then there will be no development whatsoever and in certain period of time in the future football there will be destroyed.
Wouldn't it be shame if the Domestic League had to be destroyed because of the actions of several rulers who only carried out capitalism above the interests of the sport of football and of course something like this would be great shame, even worse, it could destroy trust and trigger disappointment from Turkish football fans.
In fact, Turkey has pretty great football team, they have even managed to compete with big European teams and their development can be seen more clearly in European competitions than in the Domestic League.
Just look at Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray, they look so enthusiastic every season for European competitions, especially for the UCL.
They are the biggest team that Turkey has but now they don't seem to be very enthusiastic about the Domestic League.
