I also can't decide which one I actually predict will have the best chance of winning the title this season. Although I might hope that Inter Milan can perform as well as last season. But in my heart I honestly also feel that Inter Milan will have difficulties this time. Because Bayern and Real Madrid this season are different from their performance last season. Well, it's very clear that Barcelona is not in good condition. we can see several key players who have suffered injuries, the poor performance of Barcelona players and who knows what Xavi is planning to get his squad back on track. and yeah, this defeat was Barcelona's second defeat this season during the El Clasico match. last night's match, Barcelona's defeat was the saddest thing for Barcelona. at least, losing by a narrow score wasn't that big of a deal. however, Barcelona fell with a score of 4-1. even though, this match was held at a neutral venue.

The players and management teams aren't really at their best and it has to be corrected. Is not it too early to jude roma to be non favorite club to win the europa league this season? We need to let the club to prove its quality when it's going to face feyenoord. Im still doubting roma caused by it was not able to take the first place at the group stage.
It was also making some people feel so doubt with it. Roma needs to prove it in the match against acmilan if it was a strong club this time. The club needs to perform even better continously.

Although, we are have underrated Everton this season because of their place in the English Premier League table this season. Assuming Everton was not penalized by reduction of points would have given them more emphasis during our discussion of the English Premier League and of course the media would have hailed them enough. I can confidently say that Everton's performance in this season is quite better than their performance is the past 3 to 4 seasons. But one sad reality about their performance this season is that they are still fighting to escape relegation.
Apart from what I have said above, Everton has also been known as a team that gives surprise draw on winning when it is not expected. So it was not fair to write everything off against Aston Villa. In as much as Aston Villa has been in a very good form this season that does not automatically make them addictive and the English Premier League. I am even more confident that Aston Villa will slide off their top four position any moment from now only if other things are ready to overtake them. In a nutshell, the Everton versus Aston Villa results was not a surprise to me because I expected it.
The point deduction from Everton really affected them this season, if not they would've been in a better position currently. However I must applaud them cause that could've killed the morale and team spirit of some teams but they didn't relent, though they've encountered some defeats after that but they've fought very hard and got out of the relegation zone, with the way they're going I don't think they'll be relegated caused they're really work hard against it, the recent draw against an inform Aston Villa is a prove for that. I am very much aware that many people would be disappointed in this season's African cup of Nations competition. The reason why people will be disappointed is because they have forgotten that Africa have their style of play, since some of the players that are coming to this AFCON is based in Europe and have adopted the European method of football it will be difficult for them to adapt in this African cup of Nations. What do I mean in essence, Africa is known for strength and it is that type of football that will prevail in ivory coast. Anyone that goes with skills or any type of foreign play style will not be successful in this years African cup of Nations. This is the reason Nigeria and Ghana which came with many foreign players could not win their first leg. For the case of Nigeria if our coach is not able to fix his midfield he could possibly be eliminated from the group stage. Will actually be a shameful thing to parade a team that has African best player and some other world class players and yet crash out of the group stage.
This is football and anything is possible, well what happened yesterday in the AFCON Tournament was a suprise to every one but let them not forget that change is constant and asides that if a team fails to prepare well for a competition and underestimate their opponents maybe based on previous record or past glory rather then they might end up getting a big shock from the outcome of the game and that's what happened yesterday, the least expected teams came out victorious. Roma doesn't need to go far to win the Europa League. Roma being in the top 4 in Serie A is a matter of pride because this season they want to be in the top 4 so that next season they can compete in the Champions League, but looking at Roma's current performance it seems uncertain it is impossible to get that position and I doubt that Roma can qualify for this play-off round because their performance cannot be fully expected and it seems that Roma is not really the favorite club to win the European league title this season because there are still other clubs who are much stronger and more consistent.
And it's true, as you said, that the Roma players seemed to lose direction in the match because the coach couldn't accompany them in carrying out any instructions that were played on the field. Well less fixture makes a team do well in the league and that’s the reason for Lens success and them heading to the UCL last season. This season they’re a shadow of themselves and it’s quite because of the so many competitions they’re involved in this season.Well they started badly but I think now they understand what it means to play in lots of competitions and are now getting their feet back. Psg are league leaders and are quite superior in this league and are really doing well and I think they’ll be taking this league home again. Lens will be quite good in this match but let’s see how they’ll be able to hold on to PSG but I don’t think they’ll be able to get anything from this match thought especially with their crazy form and as they’re in a bid to get the league |

Al Hilal might falter at some points and if Al Nassr isn’t consistent then I think it’ll be doom for them because they might not have any other chance to surpass them. Manchester City have changed their game at present and they have started to compete to occupy the top position in the Premier League. Manchester United had a great win against Newcastle United in the last match and they moved to the second position in the points table. However, this game was really exciting and the two teams fought hard, although Newcastle United took the lead in the first half. Newcastle led 2-1 before half-time and Man City came back to level the game in the 74th minute with a brilliant attack. However, later in the extra time, Manchester City started to attack more, due to which they went ahead after 90 + 1 minutes and stuck the ball in Newcastle's goal net. And in the last minute they left the field with the win even though the game was held at Newcastle's ground but unfortunately they could not win against Man City. However, as Liverpool are currently in the best position in the Premier League, I think Manchester City can compete with Liverpool in the next few matches if they perform well.
Manchester City with KDB is one unstoppable fire that’s about to hit the Epl. Well the match against Newcastle, they came back from behind to get the victory, this match is one credit of a firing squad that’s ready for the title, they're doing very great with just the arrival of KDB, now you could imagine what this team would do if Haaland returns from injury, they're going to be amazing and more interesting to watch, you could see for yourself the kind of pass KDB delivers to his attackes. This could only mean one thing, which is more goals for Haaland when the returns from injury. KDB getting a goal and an assist in less than 25 minutes of play is one crazy thing. Man City real pressured after getting the equalizer and they got the winner in the 91st minute. I think now we’ve got serious title contension in Liverpool and Manchester City and it’ll be quite fun to watch both teams compete. |

Watching the Man City match we can say that the lost game came back to life after Kevin de Bruyne was present. Whether I'm overreacting or not, the effectiveness of attacks is much more organized. Bernando Silva scored a goal, and then Kevin de Buruyne immediately stepped on the gas to activate his ambition again. Imagine if there was Haaland, maybe the score could reach 5 goals. However, when Man City's goal machine is accompanied by Kevin de Bruyne, it becomes a scary combination. Kevin de Bruyne equalizing goal was able to raise the enthusiasm of his friends so that it was not difficult to turn the situation around to win. He also assisted the winning goal by reading Oscar Bobb position in the penalty box. That's the key Pep Guardiola has with his team.
KDB is pure talent and doesn’t need much time to prove his worth and make you feel his presence. Well ofcourse you'll know a would class payer when you see one. His impact was felt when he was put in that second half, he got a goal and an assist that helped get the winner. This is something Pep Guardiola was seriously hoping for and luckily for their club, he's back, fully fit and ready to lead them through the 2nd stage of the season, to victory. Kudos KDB always hitting on the assist. In that game city were weak but with KDB they had this infusion of strength round the team and that shows the importance of KDB in this team. I can’t think of Haaland introduction in this team, it’ll be pretty scary and fierce and could smell doom for clubs and yes, Liverpool should be wary of this team, cause they're still very close to winning this season's league trophy. |

I missed the match due to my schedule but I was not expecting anything different from the outcome judging from the team history and capacity. I watched the highlight this morning and I commend the both teams especially the goal keepers for some incredible saves. It wasn't too bad but Guinea Bissau wasted some precious chances both in the first half and second half. Can't really say if the Ivory Coast goalie is too good or Guinea Bissau attackers lack some experience. The first goal was caused from error pass from the defenders and there is absolutely nothing the goal keeper could do about it. The second goal was too soft and I fault both the defenders and the goal keeper for their inefficiency.
The Nigeria vs Equatorial is a must watch match for me despite that I'm not too confident in the Nigerian squad. We actually have talented players in the squad but sadly, they are not ready to give their best to the team. The attack despite Boniface is missing, seems to be a little bit good likewise the midfield but my concern is the goal keeper. However the circumstances, I don't expect Nigeria to draw this match talk more of losing.
Well Ivory Coast getting the victory in this match wasn’t quite surprising because both goals came as a result of some errors from the defenders. Well Guinea Bissau had their best chances but their attackers doesn’t have the experience to convert their chances that’s why they didn’t have a goal in this match, however Ivory Coast show them class in the match, they dominated more and mounted alot of pressure on Bissau. There’s no special thing in this Ivory coast team so I don’t see them as much a threat in this competition. Well Nigeria ve Equatorial Guinea, Has just ended in a draw. Well, I think the Nigeria players weren’t quite with comfortable playing probably because of the weather. The players aren’t used to this harsh weather condition and that resulted in fatigue. The players aren’t looking sharp and yes the midfield still looks clumsy. |
