I think the match loss was expected but the result was quite crazy and disappointing. Yes Crystal Palace aren’t a match to Arsenal though but that doesn’t justify this crazy result. And we can only imagine how the fans would have been feeling after this heavy defeat. No fan would want his club to lose and that’s why this defeat isn’t one any fan of Crystals Palace would love. I think the team lacked concentration and would need to be prepared more for their next match so as to avoid this kind of defeat.

They’ve changed coaches a number of times and haven’t made any credible additions to the players and that’s like not doing anything because the players are still the same and no difference yet. So I think the board should get more finances for the addition of creative players.

Yea, we know the cup matches are important as well as the league and European trophies but with these opponents where you’ve got more advantage, at least try to get an early lead and rest your core players. Playing carefully might not be the only way to keep these players in check as they could still play carefully and have a stretched muscle or sprain.

PSG are so serious with the French cup and the league and I think it’s now time they take this seriousness into the UCL. Like they’re due for a UCL title especially with how much the club is valued with her players, and how financial capable they are to set up a team that's capable of delivering good results in the UCL tournament.

In the Portuguese league, there are teams with higher impacts in the league games and European contests too. Benfica, Sporting, Porto are most impactful in this regard. Roma are a good side. Their manager Mourinho has some kind of special ability to raise up a team into a pretty much successful squad. Even with the loopholes they're faced with, he's still been able to help the team stand out in some games. Injury has definitely been a number one deprivation of a team's performance but the manager has been able to make do with the players and squad he's got available and even though not perfect as expected, they're not relenting in their efforts.

Although their performance against teams in the league didn't fully get good commendation but still they tried to secure the points to themselves. The European competition would definitely favour them, they only need to strive to win a ticket. Good thing also that their striker is at his peak performance and he's always capable of delivering the team to victory in dire moments. I'd admit that the team and manager are very much compatible maybe it's the resonance that's natural or maybe Mourinho's great coaching ability at work but at the moment, the situation in the team is in safe hands and patiently and gently, they'd stride to the spots they want to be.

Between Milan and Udinese, both teams have had quite a good record this season and they're sure were challenging to themselves, keeping the odds for the game aside. Udinese had the lesser chance of winning though but still they strived. If only they had tightened their defense line, then maybe they've had a better chance of stealing a point from the game.

Udinese were the host, they had a good game yesterday and they tried to put enough pressure on their visitors too which was an extra boost to their confidence for the game. And for Milan, they also had a good game in the match and they were able to earn for themselves the three points in the game. For the two teams, it was only fair that the game ended with that result with just a goal margin. It works in both of their favours. At least there was time to fight hard and maximize experience too.

Losing key players and still performing is one big thing that big clubs do and Liepzig has proven to be one big club. Yes, they lost most of her players but still maintain standard as a club and even perform better. They made important additions that have really helped in this team’s stability. Though they’ll be facing Real Madrid in the Round of 16 and they don’t stand a chance. The fact they’ll probably be getting back to the UCL next season is a win for them.Against Leverkusen, Liepzig had to put in enough efforts in the match and there was a slight chance of survival in the game.

Their visitors weren't a small side, they're bent on chasing the title to the last and so it was expected that the intensity will be high being that Leverkusen were the visitors and won't want to embrace a loss in the game either. For me, I still think Leipzig no matter their playing condition are still a valuable club in the German league and European contests generally. They've proven their worth in most of their games this season and it's an addition to their quality.

Arsenal were really a better squad in this match as compared to Crystal Palace team. The away team were frustrated though but not having anything to lose still kept them playing. They’re in mid of the table and their position isn’t looking threatened yet, however they still need to work on their performance so as not to suffer another heavy defeat in their next fixture.

So they’re safe, though that scoreline was wild and was least of what was expected. I think the whole of Cyrstal Palace team needs to get over this heavy defeat fast and get back to winning ways. Lack of preparation is what made them concede this much, they need to get back to the training ground and prepare well and harder for the next fixture so as to make up for this heavy defeat.

4, their protest should rather be on the board, to increase the clubs transfer budget or get new players in the upcoming window.

Atleast they're still in a position that's better than the relegation zone, they might not have a chance to fight for a place in an European competition so they should wok on avoiding the relegation spot and maintaining the midtable if possible

Their league isn't even as competitive as other European leagues as there are just a few teams that are tough in their play.

They can still meet up with points and stay at a good spot on the table too. Congrats to Ajax and PSV, they're good and are growing better gradually regardless of the little loopholes that they're having too.The second half of the season may likely take different turn in the league as it's believed that the various team managers will make new and better strategies to increase team's performance too.

These clubs are so strong, but PSG is still having a lot of weakness on its defensive line. It was almost losing the last 16 spot due to small gap to the competitors in the group stage. There are some weakness owned by PSG and it can give sociedad win in the first leg as long as sociedad will be very well exploring it.

Having a better quality didn't guarantee PSG to win any game easily and it's still 0 UCL till this time.

Real Sociedad being able to overcome the group stage hurdles and thereafter advancing to the last 16. Sorry to say but it'll only be in the widest of dreams that Sociedad will lift the UCL trophy this season. They're not so much of a good side neither are they a bad side. They've currently not just got what it takes to be the champions.

There are still teams far better than them in all aspects, doing exceedingly well and even making extra efforts than Sociedad makes. Yes anything can happen in football but there are some fates that have been envisioned out. Maybe they'd scale through to the last 8 but the odds are very much minimal. This stage of the contest isn't a joke as all teams are in their best, they've got now till the second week of February to prepare for their encounters. The second half of the season just got messy for Atletico Madrid. Even after trying all they could to keep the game in their favor or end it with a share of points, the second placed Girona who was also the host had to net in a fourth goal. The game was a serious contest, both sides were reselient and all they wanted was a victory.

Atletico Madrid came ahead recently to gain back enough confidence after their win against Real Madrid. This is seemingly all they need to push ahead in subsequent games. They still have weeks to go and there's kinda ample time to come up on the league table. This win against Madrid is going to boost the morale of Athletico Madrid's players cause it not very easy to beat teams that are in a very good form especially the likes of Real Madrid.

The team is set to make a positive turn around in the team and their game play will be improved too. We hope to see the new Besiktas a few days and weeks from now and see the difference they'd make.

Fernabache and Galatasaray are good teams with good quality of players and both are capable of making the contest tough. But we await who'd be the greatest of them all. They are making the struggle for the league trophy more difficult because they are giving thesame victory energy and aura, the points gathered, the goal differences, they're seemingly the toughest team in the league and their victory is so certain. In a long while in the Turkish League, deciding the league's winner will take a while because these two teams are good at what they do. They're making the league's football more fun especially when it has to do with these two teams.
