Respected and? Is that enough if he cannot do better than Jose Mourinho? Lol I would love to see his experience in the coaching game. The management must be really inspired by Xabi Alonso, they also wanted to explore and work with a young coach, the season still has good number of weeks ahead, it's either they do better or go down sinking below.

At least when I e looks back at what Jose Mourinho has achieved, he made great memories with em. The club at some points didn't provide him with the lads he wants.
He got to the Finals last year and also won them the UEFA Conference League Competition during his first season.

Feyenoord anyways was a team Jose Mourinho would have defeated because he's done it before, the plans they had for the top four just didn't get actualized. Godspeed with Jose Mourinho in the next phase. ( Saudi Ways? )
Xabi Alonso is really doing well with his Leverkusen side especially as the club’s got confidence in him and are willing to give him necessities and get the signings done. This is one thing that adds to the criteria of a successful coach, getting your required signings and getting the desired results with them. And to be honest Xabi has proven that he's ready to make a name for himself as one of the most successful managers in times to come.

Jose tried to get this club to her first European trophy in his first season and the 2nd season lost in an European final. This season the clubs seems to be struggling especially as they’re not achieving credible resultss to help them secure the top 4. Well Jose still has whAt it takes to be very successful especially when given the necessary signings he wants and I think he’ll move to Saudi and establish himself there.
1202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 16, 2024, 11:17:23 PM

The game has come to an end, and Juventus emerged victorious with a score of 3-0. Right from the start, it was evident that Juventus had a strong determination to win. The team was in high spirits, playing on their home turf, which added to their advantage. Comparing their current performance, Sassuolo seemed to be struggling and not in good form, making it less likely for them to pose a significant challenge to Juventus. I wasn't expecting any surprising outcome as I knew Sassuolo would find it challenging to defeat Juventus in their current state.

some people were hopeful that Sassuolo could secure a draw, pointing to their previous victory over Juventus in the first leg. However, I had confidence in Juventus maintaining their winning streak. It's difficult to imagine Juventus faltering in any game now, given their solid performance and determination..
Juventus have once again thrilled their fans at their home ground by trashing Sassuolo 3-0. This result wasn’t a big surprise especially as Sassuolo have been pretty poor lately, However I love how Juventus used Sassuolo misfortune to their advantage and are fighting seriously to close the gap between them and Inter Milan,  there's still hope, a big hope for Juventus in winning the league, but If they don't work harder to achieve it then  their rival Inter would definitely win it.

In this match, they struggled to hold possession or even have some nice shots on target. To those who predicted a draw, I think this match should send a warning signal that Juventus are in for the title and they could maintain this win streak and go on to challenge for the title. Now over to Inter Milan because Juventus are quite fierce and have a solid tEam that could pose a serious title threat.
1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 16, 2024, 11:05:19 PM

So far I don't really follow player transfer rumors or developments, so I've missed a lot of gossip or rumors in the last two weeks.  reading this post, especially regarding the development of Benzema and Firmino, does this mean that Chelsea is targeting them.  Or, this is just rumors and gossip or could just be speculation. I really don't know, and haven't kept up with developments for some time.  However, if it is true that he is linked with Chelsea, I wonder if there are not other options that are younger and can be used for at least the next 1 or 2 seasons. because for me, that is more logical and ideal.

A few weeks ago, Osimhen was linked with Chelsea and I thought that if the player was willing to move to Stamford Brigde it would be better for Chelsea even though it would have to dig deep into their pockets. That doesn't mean I'm saying that Benzema can't be relied on, if he is really linked with Chelsea. It's just that you have to take into account the age factor and how much money Todd Boehly has to spend. if the option is a loan player and the costs are low, it is quite logical and ideal. However, isn't Benzema's salary fantastic at Al Ittihad? Likewise with Firmino, which teams are interested in him. Is he still linked with Chelsea, or are clubs in Serie A still interested in his services.
By the way, it seems like I also have to start digging up the latest information regarding developments in rumors and player transfers. Well, let's just wait for developments regarding Benzema and Firmino.
Well the move of Firmino to Chelsea could probably be a rumor especially as Chelsea is a squad of youngsters and wouldn’t need a Firmino or Benzema. Yes the two are quite good and have good experience but I think they’ll prefer having a young striker with lots of potential than these two. I think Manchester United are the ones that are more likely to sign Benzema, the rumors are everywhere and I think it might come to psst, based on  Manchester United's history of signing older experienced attackers during the January window on loan, but in Benzema's case they could buy him completely.

Osimhen moving to the Bridge will be quite better than the 2 amd I know the Chelsea boss doesn’t mind splashing the cash. Financially the option of these 2 isn’t a good one.Well money could be the difference here and that could attract Benzem or Firmino to the bridge, so we’ve got to wait till the end of the window to see what happens.
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: January 16, 2024, 10:57:44 PM
I mean there are way too many bad teams in the league right now, it is obvious that they are dealing with a situation that is going to be a lot more different. To be fair, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are the only good teams in the league this season and there is no doubt about that, the yare just way too good. This doesn't mean that all the other teams are always bad, sometimes they are better, but this season those are the only two good teams.

This results with shocking draws or losses by those two, because they look like they may actually win against everyone else, like literally just beat everyone else, and I mean championship will be decided by which one makes lesser amount of mistakes this year, and that is very difficult for the teams.
The Turkish Super Lig is one league that's been having a wide point margin between their title holder and the other teams but this season both top teams have actually been playing averagely and their end result is more or less thesame with a difference in just the goal margins.
It's not so bad though but it'd mean that one team would have to put extra work to their game delivery if they want to secure the trophy.
Fernabache and Galatasaray are good teams with good quality of players and both are capable of making the contest tough. But we await who'd be the greatest of them all. Besiktas on the other hand are trying their best in what they do, they still have greater possibilities of excelling in the league and when efforts are out in the team, it'll yield good outcomes. Galatasaray and Fernabache are making the struggle for the league trophy more difficult because they are giving thesame victory energy and aura, the points gathered, the goal differences, they're seemingly the toughest team in the league and their victory is so certain.

In a long while in the Turkish League, deciding the league's winner will take a while because these two teams are good at what they do. They play to win, and their next league game would undoubtedly end up as a victory for them both because their opponents are the opposite of them in all aspects. They're making the league's football more fun especially when it has to do with these two teams. We await the challenge amongst themselves and we're anticipating the winner. Do not be surprised though that the points will be shared eventually by both teams.
1205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 16, 2024, 10:45:38 PM

Xavi and his team have played their best performance and I see that they have played optimally, especially in the final match, it is impossible for them to play not seriously, it's just that what you say is true, they still have shortcomings in their defense which are easily penetrated by Madrid players so defeat is inevitable, Xavi has also implemented a good strategy, but they still lack players in the front line who rely too much on Lewandowski, who in my opinion looks old enough to be a striker.

But even so, at least this final match will be an evaluation for Barcelona to improve it because there are still many titles they can still chase, Laliga and Copa del Rey because I'm not really sure they will last long in the UCL, so I think they have a chance to win Laliga and Copa Del Rey titles, even though it seems difficult and requires hard work, look at last season where they managed to win the Laliga title. I think Barcelona must remain confident to get the title this season.

Being 8 points adrift of Girona is certainly a tough job in Laliga but Barcelona still has to consistently stay on the winning track until the end of the season if they want to win the Laliga title as well as the last 16 of the Copa Del Rey. At least they can get through to the final and win the title even though Madrid will be competitors. which is hard for them.  Wink
Last week Barcelona were able to get a win against Osasuna to earn a ticket to the Spanish Cup finals where they had to face Real Madrid. Their game against Osasuna was a bit tough but in their best way, they were able to secure the win. Madrid themselves were able to deliver a good victory against Atletico Madrid and their subsequent performance in the contest is seemingly promising. The two rivals at the finals Real Madrid and Barcelona were tough on each other. Twas an El classico game and so the heat was intense.

Even though Barcelona themselves weren't performing near to the rate of Madrid's, they still did their best to keep up in the game. They've only got to work on their confidence and charisma in the game, the UCL tournament is still heated up and they've got to prove their spot there too.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 16, 2024, 10:35:15 PM

I think it's too soon to make predictions for the three big clubs, we will never know the development of other clubs which may have surprises for the three clubs above, although I'm sure Manchester City will go smoothly to reach the UCL final this season but I think they should be able to overcome Copenhagen in the round of 16 because they also should not be underestimated. Every club that qualifies for the round of 16 is definitely not a club that is usually easy to beat. Manchester City will definitely have difficulties too.

I'm not sure that Madrid and Munich will run smoothly until the final, I think there will be a meeting between the three later, especially since Manchester City's meeting last season eliminated Munich and Madrid before the final, it looks quite good, it's just Madrid and Munich this season have talented new players who make it possible that there will be fierce competition if the meeting occurs again. I also hope that in the final Manchester City will meet Madrid or Munich.

But maybe that will happen again if they don't meet in the semi-finals or quarter-finals. I think there will probably be a big club meeting in the final. So far, these three clubs are the most favourites, but there are other clubs that cannot be ignored either.  Wink
The UCL round of 16 is sef to kick off next month and for some teams, it's going to be a serious tussle and for some it'll be a minor jump through to the next stage. Judging based on team strength, City has a better chance to advance than Copenhagen, so does PSG, Dortmund and Bayern. For the remaining fixtures, the teams are strong and the result is just unpredictable.

Arsenal and Porto are in good form, same performance range, the probability is shaky, thesame with Napoli and Barcelona. For Madrid and Leipzig, one would say Madrid are in a better position to advance but the German side shouldn't be underrated though, they're also good in their own way. For Inter and Atletico, it's going to be a serious battle, none of them would allow the other to just go freely without making it tough. Hopefully these teams would use their home advantages wisely and to the best of their ability too.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: January 16, 2024, 10:25:45 PM

Porto had a very easy victory in that game, I had a lot of doubts about whether or not I should bet on Porto and given the amount of indecision that was going through my head I ended up deciding not to put Porto in my parlay, but I was very surprised by With this result, I expected it to be a game in which Braga would be able to cause a lot of headaches for Porto, I expected it to be a very balanced game. but it seems that Porto in this game came with too much force for Braga to handle. Congratulations to Porto for the victory in a game that was supposed to be a difficult game, with this victory Porto continues in the race for the title and knowing that in the Portuguese league as long as we don't see a big difference between the top team in relation to Porto, we won't be can rule out Porto as likely champion

Chaves 0 - 3 Sporting CP

In the last 3 games Sporting's attack is unstoppable, very often they have managed to score at least 3 goals, in this game they managed to score 3 goals and didn't concede a single goal, with this victory Sporting remains at the top of the table, I keep asking myself Whether this season they won the league or will waste this good opportunity. Be that as it may, they are having strong competition, with Benfica being very close to them so that a small mistake would cause them to lose the top spot and consequently lose the title. We'll see how long Sporting can stay at the top, I bet on Sporting to win, I put them in my multi bet and with their victory they gave me a good profit

Benfica 4 - 1 Rio Ave

As expected from Benfica, they won very easily, I watched this game and was a little worried when the opponent scored the first goal, but given the pressure that Benfica's attack was putting on, I was hopeful that Benfica would score more goals any time, so when Benfica scored a goal it made me feel more at ease that my bet wouldn't be lost, and when Benfica scored more goals I soon stopped watching the game because I saw that they had already won the game and that there was no chance of the opponent reversing That result, congratulations to Benfica and may we become champions this season.

In the Portuguese league, there are teams with higher impacts in the league games and European contests too. Benfica, Sporting, Porto are most impactful in this regard. For Porto, they're doing well in the league and also have good performance records in the UCL too even though they weren't able to keep up with their good performance in their last league game which wasn't so acceptable. Same applies for Benfica and Sporting who's got their own record in the European cups too. Benfica did well at securing the three points in their last game with a good goal margin. It only shows how set they are for the task put before them.

Although a lesser performance wasn't expected from them though but they're definitely a stable team in the league
The league seems less competitive though as there are still weeks left and just these 3teams are trying to make good wave in the league. Over the years it's still these three that have been the most talked about because of the feats they've attained. One would be so sure to bet on these teams and their ability to keep progressing in points in their league games.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: January 16, 2024, 10:16:56 PM

It was a very complicated game for Ajax, despite having great possession of the ball, the opponent was still extremely lucky when it came to scoring goals, first Ajax scored a goal, but then the opponent scored a goal and the game was tied, ajax scored a goal again and the opponent also scored the second goal again and with that the game was tied, I even thought that the game would end in a draw, when ajax scored the third goal I still kept thinking that at any minute the opponent would be able to score the equalizer. Fortunately, Ajax came out of the game with victory, and with this victory, Ajax is 5 points away from reaching AZ. Man, what I see in the table makes me laugh a lot. Until a few months ago Ajax was in the relegation zone but today they are close to position 4 and with a high probability of finishing in position 3 or 4. I must congratulate the Ajax coach who is doing a good job

Twente 2 - 1 AZ

Before this game started, I was very convinced that Twente would win this game, I couldn't see Twente losing, that's because Twente are having a good campaign this season, they have had few defeats, I would say they are consistent, unlike AZ that the last few games have been inconsistent and they came into this game having lost, that's why in my opinion Twente would win that game and that's what happened, it's funny that AZ scored the first goal and very early, I confess that yesterday when I saw that AZ I was ahead, I wasn't worried because I was convinced that Twente could still reverse the result. with this victory, twente remains in third place while AZ remains in position 4 and with the risk of ajax passing them

Feyenoord 2 - 2 NEC

wow, it was a game with a lot of goals, but it was a disappointing game for Feyenoord, who in the 1Half ended with them winning 2 - 0, they are very close to winning the game easily, I even thought that in the 2 half they would be able to score more goals , but I didn't think they would tie the game, in the 2 half NEC did very well as they managed to score 2 goals to tie the game. With this draw it becomes clearer every day that PSV are already champions this season. I honestly don't see any team that can surpass PSV in the table
The Eredivise is competitive no doubt and consistency works very much for the teams there. It's winter season and so the teams ought to brace up to gain enough grounds ahead of post winter break. PSV and Ajax are doing explicitly well in the league as they've been able to keep up with game victories too.
For Alkmaar, they're lagging behind and it's really taking toll on them and their points on the league table too.

They've just got to find a balance and get back to their pace. Their league isn't even as competitive as other European leagues as there are just a few teams that are tough in their play. They can still meet up with points and stay at a good spot on the table too. Congratulations to Ajax and PSV, they're good and are growing better gradually regardless of the little loopholes that they're having too.

Yes, I also really miss the Saudi League playing again, but what can we do, we have to be patient and wait, of course even though currently the Saudi League players are relaxing, it would be better if they prepared themselves with training and of course it will definitely produce stamina and good performance. Yes, the elite teams have to perform well because their competition when the Saudi League starts will definitely be tight, especially as Ittihad will of course start its first match after a long holiday and Ittihad will face Al-Ta'ee, even though Ittihad can be said to be superior to Al -ta'ee but of course we won't know because sometimes Al-ta'ee's performance might be better because of the long holiday. So indeed, having training like that will definitely make the team's abilities better and no longer stiff when the match starts.

It looks like Al-Hilal's match against Inter Miami in the Friendly match is also getting closer and of course you have to start practicing now.
Likewise with Al-Nassr who will face Shanghai Shenhua in the Friendlies match so they definitely also need to train from now on so I am amazed by the Saudi League team who are training.

Yes, of course in the next match there will definitely be a fierce match because of course all teams want to become champions this season. Yes, I also can't wait and want to see the match.
The SPL league are on break at this point and it’ll e preferable these players use this time to train well and harder especially as how competition will increase when the league resumes. Al Ittihad and Al Ta’ee will be one match to look out for. Especially as the later won’t be taking the match lightly knowing the former’s performance this season have been quite poor. Al Hilal and Al Nassr’s friendlies are getting closer and I believe their players are seriously training for these matches to make the team and league proud.

These matches will be quite fierce as it’ll be a big boost especially for the league of the winners so are pretty important and the players for this reason are real serious about it, cause the rivalry with both team is getting intense and none would want  to lose to another even though it's just a friendly match.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 16, 2024, 09:56:18 PM
Lille won at home against an out of form opponent.Lille took the 3 points against Lorient with 3 goals and didn't even give their opponent a chance to score.Lorient only managed 1 shot throughout the match.Lorient were good last season but this season they are on a bad run and will most probably be relegated.
Lyon had recovered a bit after winning 3 weeks in a row but lost yesterday against Le Havre. They played well but an early red card for Jake O Brien changed everything.Lyon were 1-0 down at half time and then suffered from being down to 10 men in the second half.I expect Lyon to improve their performance in the next matches.
The Lens-PSG match was better in terms of goal positions compared to other matches.Lens' missed penalty in the 7th minute was perhaps the breaking point of the match.Lens, who had difficulty in putting pressure after this minute, closed the first half 1-0 down and finished the first half with 10 men.In the second half, there was not much they could do.
Lorient aren’t a match for Lille as they’re down in the relegation zone. So Lille’s win against Lorient was as expected especially with the high goal margin and crazy stat from the fixture. Well Lille had 3-0 and 3 points and are reaL going up the log. Lyon who had improved fell to a loss to Le Harve team which is pretty bad for them at this point, they're supposed to understand that at this point of the tournament, they don't need to drop any points

The Lens vs Psg match was pretty tensed and never short of expectations especially as PSG just were able to come through with a lone goal to secure their top spot. well let’s see how things go for Nice and Monaco who are on a chase. However I think Monaco needs to be very careful, any careless lose could see them leading the top 4  to the Europa League spot, they need to sit up, else they could miss out of the UCL.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 16, 2024, 09:48:10 PM
True and people were forgetting it caused by it will be useless to talk about that since manchester city was the richest one after newcastle. EPL will never consider it as violations to the rules. EPL may be defending manchester city coz it has one of biggest fans in the world. Oil's money can protect you easily from any accusations. It has been several years since the initiation of the investigation into Manchester City, and to this day, no conclusive evidence has been discovered, indicating that there may be no grounds for imposing sanctions on the club.
The small club who didn't have money lack of good strategy to avoid FFP. This is also the main problem owned by EPL. People were also calling it corrupt.

I have no wordh to say but it seems like that there will be more clubs to be targeted by EPL to receive the sanction. Chelsea may also become the one of them who will be receiving its sanction soon.
Im not really happy with this but since it was final decision from EPL and we can do nothing to save it. Everton and nottingham forest need to push its performance to leave from the relegation zone. Im not doubting everton but i doubt about nottingham forest.
These clubs need to work even harder to make sure it will able to leave from relegation zone asap after those will receive their sanctions.
EPL being called corrupt is one trend that’s been on for years and year after year evidences of corruption still shows up. Manchester City have been on investigation for a while and yet no judgement been made to that effect. Yet small clubs who just got under investigation are lashed severe punishments that are quite hurtful and  could mess with the club’s stability. Chelsea could probably be the next to be axed.

Now for clubs punished and have landed in the relegation zone, they’ll need to push so hard, Forest will find it difficult because I haven’t seen them as potential winners of any match yet but Everton could put up a fight for that effect yet again and I’m confident on them. Well I saw in a news that Everton could be facing another point deduction, I don't know how true the rumour is, but if it's true, I think that's the end of the road for Everton cause they won't miss relegation.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: January 16, 2024, 09:16:55 PM

In this match Spurs played great even without a complete squad. If they had Son, maybe the score would be different. Yes that's right. Man United's defense is very bad, especially goalkeeper Onana. Onana was very selfish by delaying going to the Africa Cup of Nations, insisting on playing with Man United and in the end not winning. The more Onana continued to play, the more Man United was hit. The number of goals conceded is very, very, very, very, very much.

I was surprised by Erik Ten Hag's decision, even though he had often conceded goals, Onana was still trusted to be the starter as if he didn't have a backup goalkeeper at all. If in another team like Madrid, they don't play well in three matches, they must be benched first so they can introspect and give the reserve goalkeeper confidence to be able to perform. In this match it was very clear that Onana could not be relied on in anticipating corners and crosses. He didn't dare cut the ball in the air, he was too focused on watching his teammates duel for the ball.
Manchester United defense as we know isn’t the best of any defense in this league and worst of it is their goalie Onana. I don’t see any key thing he added to the match that prompted him staying back from AFCON, because he still conceded some cheap goals and made some crazy shaky mistakes. I think if the Spurs squad was quite complete then it could have been doom for United. ETH still relying on Onana is one story we’ve spoken on quite a number of times .

The man trusts his players gotten from their youthful age more reason Onana and Anthony still remains key in his build up project. I think Onana should be dropped for a while and probably he could regain his confidence to stand between the sticks, Ten Hag haven't tested the new Turkish keeper yet to see his capability and see if Onana needs to rest for a while, I think he needs to start trusting some of this substitute players too.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: January 16, 2024, 09:07:00 PM

Many say that Jose Mourinho's coaching system is old school and has not been updated, which means the club is not improving properly, but I don't think that's the case. Jose Mourinho is a very experienced coach in the European leagues so the strategy he implements will definitely work well, but perhaps because of the potential of his players. not very adequate so his coaching looks ordinary, different from when he was still at Chelsea, at that time Chelsea had extraordinary players competing in the English league which made them play very strong, different from now Chelsea is full of young players with little experience.

Yes, Jose Mourinho has been with Roma for a long time but was only able to win the European Conference League title in his first season coaching and many said that when he entered his 3rd season the club that Jose Mourinho built would not run well and it is true that this season Roma is not having a good season with Jose Mourinho, I think if Roma doesn't achieve the results they hope for this season, maybe Jose Mourinho won't have the opportunity to continue coaching at Roma.
Jose is one coach with vast experience and yes implementing those experiences aren’t a big deal for Jose because he can real do that well especially when you watch with his time with Chelsea, Real and even Man United who were at their worst. Experienced and quality players will be better to help implement his philosophies. Well he’s achieved an European trophy while at Roma and gotten to an European final but without positive and effective changes the club won’t achieve good success and that’s what he’s suffering currently.

Well I would agree that his coaching philosophy yes it’s quite old and also yes the players available might not be able to match the philosophy he has. Times are changing and also improvements is one factor to keep you going through it all.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 16, 2024, 08:58:55 PM

One thing about African teams is that they lack proper management. I feel like that's the only thing teams like Nigeria and Ghana have. Individually these teams have relatively strong squads. I'm not saying the players are all world-class but they're okay and they should be playing better than they're currently playing.
The Nigerian coach is not good enough. It's evident from the way Nigeria plays. They don't press and they don't create chances.

Secondly, we have to understand that football has evolved. Teams no longer fear bigger teams. They come out and play as though they're equals. So don't expect your favorite teams to have it easy because they won't.
We've seen teams like Cape Verde win Ghana. Mozambique almost won Egypt but managed to get only a point. That's the competitive level of football these days.
African Football generally lacks proper management from the head and when the head is bad it sure affects the whole body. Look at a team like Nigeria who have one of the formidable teams in Africa yet check their recent matches and see how they struggle. This is because the coach isn’t standard and doesn’t have a plan or an idea on how to build with these stars. That’s pretty bad and real crazy and I think it’s quite worrisome especially for Nigeria football lovers that their team aren’t progressing fine.

And the fact that no one is seen as a big dog in football is one thing that should make this Nigeria team quite strong and quality but rather they’re chickening out of matches and not behaving like the Super Eagles they’re called. Well maybe they've now understood what they're in for and would sit up in their next fixture, let's see how it goes.

as a result of him being always injured then but I will say Manchester United made a mistake because he should have been signed after recovering. Sabitzer was a central midfielder that can play any of the role in the midfield and Manchester United was lacking such players and they later went on to sign Mason Mount who to me isn’t a central midfielder but just an attacking midfielder. This shows that Manchester United do not have proper recruitment team if not you can’t leave a player that has your similar qualities and go for another player who is more expensive and play him out of position.

As for a striker yes Manchester United need one, the three players you mentioned above only one is a proper striker. Martial has been with united for over 5 years and he can’t play consistently and that has really affected Manchester United, I think it is the right time to sell him. As for Rashford we all know he doesn’t play well from the striker position as he likes to play from the left wing and he is only deployed as a striker when there is injury crisis. Now only Hojlund is a striker but since his arrival he has failed to leave up to expectations and that was expect because he is so young and a new striker will relive him some pressure.

As for a new striker I don’t think they need to go for Benzema because is just a short fix and going for him will be a waste of time and funds to me. They missed the opportunity of signing Harry Kane they just need to go for another long term fix. A player like Serhour Guirassy is up the market for just around $25M
Sabitzer would had been a good signing if not for Injury that caused him to lose his form in the club, if you noticed he left United and went to play for Leipzig and he's doing well over there currently. Manchester united were impatient and needed quick action, they didn't need another Injury prone player that would make the team more weaker, however I wonder why they went for Mason Mount that's in same situation to Sabitzer and has been battling with injury since he came into the team, we're yet to see the best of him.

The Striker position is something Manchester united shouldn't joke with in this ongoing window, they need a good partner for Hojlund so as not to be stressing Marcus Rashford to play that position, Martial is not a serious play and should be in a team like united, there's a lot of reasons why I think he shouldn't be in that team,  and they should either stick with getting an experienced Benzema or fight hard to get young and very vibrant Guirassy.

Bookmakers have a sense reason for that. The current standing has been showing that if salernitana and Empoli have at least 5 points gap to the Verona which was still placed at the relegation zone. It makes sense if bookmakers were thinking that if salernitana and Empoli are already there.
Considering the poor performance owned by those clubs make me believe that if salernitana and Empoli will be relegated. We have only the last spot which is still unpredictable as Verona has 1 point gap to leave from the relegation zone.

Verona can go up easily as long as it can win the game at least two games. This is quite hard to do that but Verona has no choice other than try to do it. There is still enough time for Verona to make it.
I were also losing my hope for salernitana and Empoli. These clubs have almost zero chance to leave from the relegation zone. That makes sense if bookmakers favored all of them to be relegated. It's caused by bookmakers were saying based on the data.

Salernitana was always lucky enough cuz this club was always able leaving from the relegation zone but its luck will be fully tested this season. Salernitana needs a miracle to make it happen.

Empoli is also in a. critical situation too. This club needs to do something to secure a spot in series a next season.
Among all the clubs currently on the relegation zone, Verona is the most favorite to leave that zone, they're just a point away from the 16th position, in the next fixture  they'll facing a more easier opponents, while, Empoli and Salernitana which be facing tougher teams, which are Juventus and Roma, Verona would be playing against Frosinone, and their is a possibility of they stealing a point or the 3 points completely, I think the bookmakers are aware of this and they'll likely give Verona a fair odd against Frosinone.

As for Salernitana and Empoli, it would only take a miracle for them to leave the relegation zone, they're the most likely to be relegated. However I think Verona should count themselves lucky cause all hope ain't lost yet and if they understand the benefits of still being in the top league of the nation, I think they’ll sit up and do everything possible to move up the standings. Well Salernitana's misfortune came so early this season and I don't think there any hope left for them.

Augsburg really tried to put up a good fight to get points against Leverkusen in that match, but unfortunately Augsburg had to give up because Leverkusen, who kept trying to look for opportunities, finally managed to score a goal and win. It was an expected victory for Leverkusen considering that Augsburg looked busy defending completely, but it is true that Leverkusen took a long time to overthrow Augsburg who were playing at home.

This season, Leverkusen is a team that is unbeaten in the Bundesliga in the last 17 matches. Right now Leverkusen has created a 4 point gap with Bayern Munich, but considering that Bayern Munich has one game in hand, Bayern Munich will probably only be 1 point behind Leverkusen. The next match is difficult for Leverkusen, while Bayern Munich has an easy match against Bremen.
To be honest i think that match was one of their hardest this season and Xabi Alonso would had really cracked his brains to make sure he gets 3 points from the game, if you observed very well you'll see that they were very dominant and passive but luck wasn't on their side when it comes to finding the back of the net. It took them about 24 shots with 6 on target just to score a lucky goal that gave them the 3 points, Augsburg would had exposed their wickness if they had won or drawn Leverkusen, but the constant pressure from Leverkusen caused them to give up at last.

I think Leverkusen should use this game as an eye opener for the outcome of their upcoming fixtures if they don't cover some of their errors, other teams might begin to come up with a pattern of beating them and ending the unbeaten record they've kept this season. Leipzig is a team they shouldn't take chances with, cause they could  be more dangerous than Augsburg.

I also can't decide which one I actually predict will have the best chance of winning the title this season. Although I might hope that Inter Milan can perform as well as last season. But in my heart I honestly also feel that Inter Milan will have difficulties this time. Because Bayern and Real Madrid this season are different from their performance last season. Especially Real Madrid with its young players who always make everyone praise their team's performance this season.

And actually it is possible that those who will go further this season are not from the 4 clubs above. Because many surprises happen in every season. Even last season, Inter Milan was not included in the 4 favorite clubs in the Champions League because they even had difficulty qualifying from the group stage and the round of 16. But they kept going even though it was difficult. Last season, Inter Milan was in the same group as Bayern and Barcelona, which made it difficult for Inter to qualify from the group stage. But this season I see that Inter Milan has had quite smooth steps.
So far, this season has been very much unpredictable for most leagues, the rate of increased performances from both small and less threatening teams of before have spontaneously grown. All the European leagues are currently in a state they've not been in for a while. And as time passes we'll be seeing more changes in football.

At first, it was just the EPL that always seemed challenging and unpredictable, now both German, Turkish, Italian and Spanish Leagues are different from the usual tempo they were known for. Inter Milan are rising, so is Leverkusen who are consistently threatening and Girona who are rubbing shoulders with the likes of Madrid and Barcelona. Let's anticipate how the remaining weeks of the season would turn out for these teams. For sure, it'll be a tough ride.

Well, it's very clear that Barcelona is not in good condition. we can see several key players who have suffered injuries, the poor performance of Barcelona players and who knows what Xavi is planning to get his squad back on track. and yeah, this defeat was Barcelona's second defeat this season during the El Clasico match. last night's match, Barcelona's defeat was the saddest thing for Barcelona. at least, losing by a narrow score wasn't that big of a deal. however, Barcelona fell with a score of 4-1. even though, this match was held at a neutral venue.
for me, there are several points that made Barcelona easily defeated by Real Madrid in the Supercopa de Espana match. just look, Barcelona has lost since the first half with a score of 3-1. we can also refer to the statistics of the Barcelona players, Balde and Araujo really underperformed. I have often said that several Barcelona defenders have experienced a decline in their performance this season. likewise with the absence of Ter Stegen, who was quite influential in guarding Barcelona's crossbar. because Inaki Pena has not been able to show his ability to guard his goal so that he doesn't always concede.

in fact, it is not uncommon for Barcelona to concede first in several of their matches, this condition is different from the performance of Barcelona's defense last season. apart from that, Barcelona's front line is experiencing a deadlock in terms of scoring goals. even though in last night's match, Lewandowski played quite well. of all the Barcelona players in the last few matches, only Gundohan has really performed consistently with his best performance. well, sometimes I don't understand when Xavi puts in players who are not even ideal at all. he tried to experiment, and the results fell with a landslide score. anyway, Barcelona is still my favorite team. I hope that Xavi is able to find the best format for his team in the matches they will play. as for Real Madrid, their performance really deserves appreciation and Vini Jr was the best player in last night's match. there's not much I can say about Real Madrid, but they really deserved the win over Barcelona. and yeah, congratulations to Real Madrid.
Barcelona's performance are not even encouraging, they're behind their usual style of play. This definitely isn't the usual Barcelona of past seasons. Their performance hasn't really been encouraging and even though they're a better side technically to other teams, it's just a number of uncertainties that are present. The players and management teams aren't really at their best and it has to be corrected.

In the round of 16, they are up against a tough opponent, they've got enough weeks to prepare hard and build strong confidence ahead. They really can't afford to take a bow out of the contest at this stage. Although it's unpredictable but they're definitely boasted of to scale through and they have the right player quality too. Just a bit of increase in performance is needed. Although, their games in the coming weeks are definitely awaited.

If Haaland can still be consistent and stable in his performance in every match until the next few season, then it is clear that Manchester City can definitely do whatever it takes to keep him, after all, the owner of Manchester City is Sheikh Mansour.
He is billionaire who owns company that operates in the field of football, there will be large amount of money that can be spent to keep Haaland if he can still play well.
Some people might say that Haaland could leave Manchester City because of Haaland release clause, but it seems that this clause has indeed been changed and from rumors circulating, the clause has indeed been disabled.

Regarding Mbappe and Real Madrid, the opportunity for Mbappe arrival is getting closer and of course we will see how Real Madrid can get stronger when Mbappe has succeeded in joining them.
I sure that when there is collaboration between Belllingham and Mbappe, the strength in Real Madrid front line will become even more dangerous and of course this will be threat to all teams including Barcelona.
Belllingham is only midfielder but he can play very well in attacking conditions, Belllingham has managed to provide 13 with 2 assists for Real Madrid in the La Liga competition.
It's a player's decision if he wants to stay in a club or leave, also it depends on his contract signed with the team as well as the teams decision to either keep him or let him go. In PSG, Mbappe is one key man that they don't want to give off yet. Even though his contract is set to expire by summer, they still know he's advantageous and would want to keep him.

For Mbappe, his stay in the team beyond and after the expiration of the contract seems to be dependent on his intentions as well as the teams performance in the long run. Good thing for him that Madrid may not really be interested in him yet until summer so he's got to be a bit patient till then, then maybe, he'd be willing to join the Spanish side. Even though Liverpool are questing for him as well, ion think they'll be set to afford that amount for him during this January transfer window. Let's just see how the next coming days would be as regards Mbappe and teams surrounding him.
