2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 23, 2021, 04:39:22 PM
Chelsea had a great day today. I thought that they might have struggled to score so many goals in the absence of Werner and Lukaku. But it turned out that they played one of their most productive game as they won by a whopping 7-0 score. I still can't believe this score to be honest.  Cheesy  Mason Mount was the best performing player in this game as he got 3 goals and 1 assist. He is a very important part of the team and he made a huge contribution in this one. I guess that the championship odd of Chelsea will decrease a little more after this big result.
I can imagine the excitement Tuchel will feel after this victory. When I first saw the line-up I already didn't expect much from Chelsea's performance. I was expecting either a draw or a narrow victory but Chelsea gave the shock of the century proving to all their fans that they can do better even without Lukaku, Werner and kante. It was an undisputed victory

I my country the era of investment isolation is over currently the are more younger people investing in various business. After we faced lack of job opportunities for years even after graduating from high schools so many has declined government jobs to get involved in entrepreneurship and a whole lot are doing well to that regard.

After the success of a few young persons who excelled in their various investment options we had a massive turn up of more people irrespective of class difference because we also saw there was actually no limit to what a man's mind can imagine
2023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical Analysis of Bitcoin on: October 23, 2021, 03:08:04 PM
I will be dropping daily technical analysis of the Bitcoin using various timeframes of the Bitcoin charts in other to help fellow merchants of Bitcoin make precise predictions of price and make profit in the process.
I still do not see any good reason you want to do this because this forum can not provide the clearer features you need to provide what you want to provide, the best is to tell people that are in need of TA to make use of exchanges which can make the work easy for them there with candle sticks display.

If I did not get you right, what kind of information you want to provide here that will be helpful? You will need to provide more information about this, but I do not think that will be helpful here if you want to be predicting bitcoin price here.
Let's give @Op a try this thread might be helpful to some who knows he might have drafted his techniques on how to go about the signals discouraging @OP might not be the best at the moment. From his next thread we would then decide if the services are worth sharing or if the platform would limit his kind gesture

The price of Bitcoin is currently at prices higher than 60,000 dollars and everyone now seems to be interested again investing in Bitcoin. The Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO) is real.
Exactly what played out early this year when Bitcoin climbed to $63k and many were rushed in and invested when the market experienced a dip many sold out of FUD and those who held on to their coin and bought more are smiling currently. The same incidence is currently playing out and many would still invest simply because the are don't want to be left out.  FOMO is actually real
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 23, 2021, 02:58:51 PM
Chelsea won by scoring seven goals, who could have predicted such an outcome? Chelsea were favourites before the game, but we didn't expect such a historic difference. Mason Mount scores a hat-trick. The fact that Havertz, who was a striker in the match where they scored seven goals, could not score and assist is another comedy. Grin
Norwich City are now anchored in the last place. They are in terrible shape, they may be the first team to get relegated this year.

In fact, this is a completely logical score when the team in first place plays against the team in last place. Another thing is that such a number of goals is quite rare for football matches.
I wonder if we will see a goalless draw in the Brighton City match today? Both teams concede very little and it would be a logical result, but most likely City will be extremely dissatisfied with it.
Lets just call it a logical embarrassment. Norwich city was just too defensive in the game and failed to make much attacks. A friend of mine said Chelsea met with their mates  and the showed them what it means to be on form intimidating them with baptismal goals. It's just quite unfortunate Norwich couldn't limit the rates at which goals flied in.
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 23, 2021, 02:41:15 PM
I had to change my location because I was no longer comfortable with how people around my neighborhood saw me. Many who know I trade Bitcoin started putting up some funny attitude each time I tried going closer to them. I had to change my location currently where I reside no one know I trade and this has made my relationship with people around me mutual
2026  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk Sees Bitcoin Price Reaching $69,000 on: October 22, 2021, 06:22:56 AM
i hope that the future price of BTC will reach higher numbers, exactly now ATH has made Elon Musk have made many coins shine his tweets are believed by many people ideas and responses, about how much influence Elon Musk has on today's electronic market, the Doge coin craze, Shib inu all he does has made the meme coins so powerful and increased to 300% an unexpected number.
His current tweet isn't just on Bitcoin alone he predicted the price of two major coins to have increased to $69,000 and $4,200  respectively in a simultaneous manner. For sure we all are expecting a $69k+ up move in not long a time but how about ETH will both attain the respective price predicted within the same time frame. I'm patiently waiting to watch musk's tweet actualizing

2027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with leverage on: October 22, 2021, 06:02:56 AM
A
Hi, I've taken a bit of a gamble by buying Bitcoin with a 3X leverage that I was planning to YOLO all the way up to ~$80k - $90k BTC on the basis that I didn't think BTC would go back to 33% below where I initially bought in any time in the near future. I bought in when Bitcoin was around the 20 week MA so this has fared well so far but I realise this was a risky move, particularly considering I don't actually fully understand leveraged trading.
This was a very risky adventure using a 3x leverage increases the volatility of your trade and also increases the possibility of blowing out your account on a single trade. What if the price fell below the 20 MA you would have smelt heart break. For me you took a very big risk.

Quote
I'd always assumed that if in order to be liquidated BTC would need to go down 1/3 from my initial buy in but I just had a thought that got me concerned.

Let's say for arguments sake that I bought in $1000 with BTC price at $10,000 which has now doubled to $2,000 after Bitcoin went up to $13,333 (I'm not sure that my math is right but anyway).

I would assume that Bitcoin would have needed to go down $6,666 in order for my initial stake to be liquidated and I was assuming that this would still be the amount that Bitcoin would need to go to, however now I'm a bit worried that my initial stake is irrelevant and that Bitcoin would need to drop 33% from the $13,333 that it's at now in order for me to be liquidated meaning that no matter how high Bitcoin goes, if it goes down 33% from that high I could be liquidated.

Just in case that explanation wasn't clear enough, if you bought 1 BTC at a 2X leverage when BTC was $10k in October last year and rode it all the way up to $65k and you had something like $120k BTC at that point, would you then have been liquidated when BTC dropped  over 50% to $29k or would your BTC have just gone down to the same as it would have been at $29k on the way up?

Is it possible that somebody could confirm which of these is correct please?

Thanks
With higher leverage the downward moves multiplies with the number of leverage you took while trading. Buying Bitcoin @ $10k with a 3x leverage implies if there is a down ward move it would go 4x the supposed price and Bitcoin doesn't just move in one direction for every rally up there is a slight downward move. You just took a big risk in all
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 21, 2021, 09:42:28 PM
United has top players and they should be winning everything out their but the board and manager are fucked. They should take Chelsea as an example, if you get hired and do not give us what we want, you get fired immediately but no United keep giving Ole another season until he ruins the whole club.
It's like giving an opportunity for Ole Gunner to stay at Man United for a few seasons as an option but it is the United management's desire that Ole stay while what we see from Manchester United's game is not too bad but when competing with big teams they are still overwhelmed and can't win because their strategy is not as good as the opponent then this will be easy to beat.

Actually this needs consideration and must focus on the approach to Zidane that is widely reported so I think it must be obtained so that Manchester United's progress is even better.
Going for Zidane might not have much improvement on their present performance considering the fact Ole is still the coach. For me Ole can't manage united boys he just leave so Manchester united could get a new coach. I'm just so not comfortable with Ole because with the current squad he has he still struggle with his matches winning only by slight luck
2029  Economy / Economics / Re: What are common arguments for Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2021, 08:51:25 PM
For a start a new investor should understand what they are about to embark on why they should embark on it and the risk involved. To help explain this better I will start by highlighting that Bitcoin came to tackle the issue of trust between members of a given network with the aim to improve on the traditional monetary forms. And that it exist on a p2p decentralized system which provides a digital ledger that is immutable and devoid of central regularization. But it's only limitations is that it's a very volatile and unstable crypto currency which can serve both as a currency or an asset
2030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Use Technical Analysis? on: October 21, 2021, 08:36:32 PM
Do you use technical analysis when you trade bitcoin?
If yes, what are the best strategies? Bitcoin is so volatile now.
Yes I use technical analysis but for now any strategy you deploy for the bullish run is relevant. No analysis is 100% accurate but the core concerntration is buying  each time a new support forms ensuring you time the breakout quite early take profit on the third candle while you wait for another breakout making your chat look too complicated now isn't relevant since the chat is on a bull run
2031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy 1 Bitcoin on: October 21, 2021, 08:30:37 PM
I guess KYC verification should be the reason why the exchange you use limits the numbers of btc you can purchase a day despite the fact you have the currency to afford more. But if that be the case then you should go for exchanges that doesn't require KYC verification such as OKEX here you can purchase as much as your currency can afford.
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we accelerate the mass adoption of crypto? on: October 20, 2021, 07:27:39 PM
In my opinion, regulation, practicality, and stability are definitely required for the mass adoption of crypto as a payment method/currency.
What are your opinions on this?
In as much as Bitcoin can't gain stability and regulation it's impossible to adopt Bitcoin as a generally accepted payment method or as a legal tender. Outside all this Bitcoin don't have an intrinsic value it rely solely on fiat currency to get it's value. Another pressing issue is it's high volatility. Unless Bitcoin can counter all this limitations it's would be difficult for Bitcoin to be a legal tender
2033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Result from Backtesting in TradingView on: October 20, 2021, 11:10:42 AM
Back testing is done manually but it's more easier if you have a large screen that would display the price action. Because with larger screen you see more data as compared to smaller screens. There is no where on the chat where you would see past events you just have to flip backwards while you confirm how many occasions your strategy occurred on in the market and how often it obeyed based on your analysis
2034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best set up for take profit level and precentage? on: October 20, 2021, 11:06:09 AM
It depends on the volatility of the crypto currency. With cryptocurrency with high volatility 50%-70% is quite moderate but for less volatilile market 20%-40% would be considered has moderate. But most times the profit might go above this margin so it's good to take profit while leaving behind some reserve that would serve as new capital
2035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with crypto??? on: October 20, 2021, 09:37:40 AM
From the few transaction I have done using crypto I only meet Bitcoin users and less of altcoins. Although most altcoins have less gas fee compared to Bitcoin but the feel more comfortable with Bitcoin which requires me swapping my altcoins to Bitcoin each time I need to do some transaction.

Another coin I have transacted with is XRP but I think it's only twice. All along it's been Bitcoin all they way and stable coin Usdt when ever it involves boarder transaction
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 20, 2021, 09:22:21 AM
Manchester United will face Atalanta. Even though Man United is playing at home, there is no guarantee that they will be able to beat Atalanta because Man United is in bad shape. Since losing to Young Boys, Man United's performances have been erratic and obviously, this is a problem.

Actually Man United has good players, it's just that they haven't been able to play solidly and their defense looks so fragile. If there is no improvement in performance, then Man United will have a hard time beating Atalanta.
Placing a bet on Manchester united to win is the most riskiest bet anyone will engage in this season. No I'm not doubting the fact that united has a very good squad but their key problem is coaching and team management. The only ground by which united would secure their win against Atlanta is only if Ole goes on a compulsory leave ahead of the match which is impossible.

Atletico Madrid - Liverpool game was a very interesting one. I was expecting Liverpool to win this game and they really did it by 3-2. And they even got ahead 2-0 too. But Atletico Madrid made a nice comeback thanks to Griezmann's two goals. However, the breaking post was the red card. And it was really shocking to see Griezmann being shown the red card. After that, things were easier for Liverpool. But still, it was a really competitive game.
If A. Griezmann wasn't sent off the pitch the game would have ended a draw. Athletico Maldrid was a bit more nervous and frustrated after he was given red card. Sallah is just a one sticker of its own kind too. I enjoyed both Sallah's goal for Liverpool and that of Griezmann for Athletico. Liverpool took advantage of their lapses

PSG vs RB Leipzig was another exciting game. Mappabe is just too good of a team player. He made PSG goals a reality but by him scoring and also his assists. His first goal was just a perfect finish from few meters away from the post.

Club Brugge Vs Manchester city was a walk over the winning was just too easy similar to shakhtar Donetsk vs Real Madrid. They had their winning just too easy and their games were quite predictable

2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has Gambling Changed Your Life? Yes? (how) No? (why)? on: October 19, 2021, 02:48:23 PM
Gambling has affected my life both positively and negatively. I would first start by the positive impact of gambling in my life before moving on to how it affected me negatively:

positive impact:
Gambling got me more exposed to numerous games outside soccer and also exposed me to the different casino games available both in online and offline casinos. I have been into gambling for quite a long time but haven't won any tangible amount my highest win was $200

Negative impact:
Gambling almost got me addicted this happened when I went into a bet with a friend of mine this friend and i made a bet on who would be the first to withdraw a certain amount from a betting platform within certain time frame. This made me stake more than my normal budget and gradually I found my self going back to my left over balance trying my best to ensure I won the bet. My saving grace was I backed out at some point and gave up the competition if not I would have drained my entire. Savings

Arsenal is far better compared to Manchester united.

What do you mean, Arsenal are better than Manchester United?
This season, almost everything has gone wrong for Arsenal. Furthermore, Manchester United squad is better than Arsenal squad.
Perhaps the only flaw that Manchester United has is the coach, with the squad he has, he should have a better performance.
When it comes to squad I would accept with you that Manchester united has better players compared to Arsenal but you see the area of coaching and team management Arsenal has edge over them. Of what use is having the best squad when they can't deliver. I would still bet that if Arsenal clashes with unted this season. United will concede lots of goals to Arsenal. Team management is the key let's forget squad for now
2040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: October 19, 2021, 07:00:30 AM
at the beginning I though Arsenal would easily win this game and continue 2-match winning home streak. but at the end late equalizer from Alexandre Lacazette helped Arsenal to save only 1 point.
We shouldn't be celebrating a home draw with one point, it is just very unfortunate that that has become the situation of things. Arsenal's has only been the winners in eight of twenty three home games, not a good statistics to show. I expected arsenal to really try to ensure that they get all 3 points from that game to boost their position on the EPL board. With the way things are looking to me, it will be a miracle if arsenal can even be in the top five this season.

There might be no guarantee for arsenal boosting their position for this season. But so far there have been a bit of improvement. No one is celebrating a home draw but securing a 1 point is far better than losing out completely to earn 0 point. Going by the forceful counter attack Crystal palace had which gave them edge over Arsenal it was so impossible to have an equalizing goal but it took extra effort from Alexandre Lacazette to help save their day. All Arsenal just need to work on is their defense and defensive midfielder
