2021  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is a part of war now, like it or not on: March 09, 2022, 01:22:17 PM
War has different scope so you just point it as part of war because this was been used for donation campaign conduct by ukraine and other legal institutions. But if we are been realistic here we cannot really say that this is part of war because there's no sanctions nor anything has been impose on it and maybe people are just exaggerated with the dump happened that's why many got triggered and think the same as you. For what I look at it crypto still neutral and remain uncontrolled by anyone.
2022  Other / Off-topic / Re: Could Trump be the right choice for the ownership of Chelsea. on: March 09, 2022, 12:00:39 PM
I recently came across a sport headline breaking: Donald Trump reveals interest in buying Chelsea football club. And many thoughts ran through my mind, can Trump among many other bidders be the right man for the club. Cause it's only businessmen with the kind of passion as Roman Ibrahimovic had for the club that can still sustain and keep keeping the flag flying from where Ibrahimovic stopped.

What your take on this, with the likes of Trump in the race for the ownership of Chelsea?

Why not? if he have money to spend money to acquire that team then its all good and also I think its beneficial for the team if it will be acquired by Trump because he is well known business magnate so provably he will do good on this team in terms of profitability and support.  Also this could provably wide up their market knowing that Trump is very influencial man.
2023  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sa tingin niyo ano mas maganda? on: March 09, 2022, 10:45:19 AM

2024  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 08, 2022, 11:09:06 PM

Not just these two countries are affected by their war but we also affected due to delay of foods exported and imported in our different countries and like you said some prices will roll up like here in my country Philippines, gasoline and many daily needs was marked up, last 4 days and if this war will continued in a few months for sure many country will be affected.
Totally relevant on rising up prices because they are worlds  leading natural gas exporter and also oil exporter and producer.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Russia

So it isnt surprising that this current war did really make out some effects and this would even gotten worse as this war would continue.

Some times it cross on my mind on why such things create a huge effect on the economy while Middle east is also an option if we talk about oil supply, maybe there are global players play this and manipulate the current situation just to increase the price of the oil. Hopefully we can see the price of oil get back to normal after the war ends since this is really one of the biggest reason why the price of basic commodity rise up.
2025  Economy / Economics / Re: The ruble is going to hell on: March 08, 2022, 01:11:00 PM
Putin is not going to care as long as oil prices go up. Brent crude touched $139 per barrel yesterday and that will bring around $1 billion per day to the Russian treasury from oil exports alone (anything above $27 per barrel is taxed at close to 100% rate in Russia, and they export around 8 million barrels of crude every day). Natural gas prices are at record highs and that will also add to the revenues. And since Ruble is going down, the government needs to spend less money on salaries and pensions.

Biden made things easy for Putin, by sabotaging the Keystone XL pipeline and banning fracking on federal lands.

but still the fall of the ruble will have an impact on the Russian economy. maybe they can get by with the oil this time. but for the long term and the many sanctions, will make this big country not good. so the only option was to withdraw their invasion as soon as possible, that way they could avoid worse trouble.

Oil price is skyrocketing which I think in that area they will bounce back and Russia knows that already that's why their government is no worried about those temporary sanctions happening to them. But feel pity to those people who go affected especially those other citizens or overseas workers who work on Russia because their income will be totally affected on current economic situation on Russia especially for those people who save Ruble in their bank accounts.
2026  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 08, 2022, 11:57:01 AM
Why would others have to suffer because of their country?
Even though we know that those given gambling platform have negative trust but what about other platforms from Russia that are giving their customer a good service?
We don't even know if their owner is participating or in favor for the war or just wants to live in peace.

That is temporarily sanction for government to notice about their bad decision made since if there economy will suffer for sure it will reach to their people until to other branch of governments then they protest about this since this hurt them badly. For sure many think about that since its crazy to see if your economy got crumpled and for sure it will reach unto the leaders head about this situation.
2027  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: AXS and SLP available now on Coins.PH!!! on: March 08, 2022, 10:56:19 AM
Yong ETH, meron din kaya ang coins.ph through ronin?
Yung sa weth ba? Wala.
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Disorder ? on: March 07, 2022, 11:16:47 PM
I was going through my feed when I saw this article :
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.hulldailymail.co.uk/news/hull-east-yorkshire-news/heartbroken-parents-say-hull-teacher-6755181.amp

According to the article the parents of the 24 Year old teacher blamed inadequate Gambling treatment and medicines available right now, also improper assesment of Gambling disorder. Their son became an addict by using fixed odds at the age of 16-17 and ultimately his addiction spiralled out of control.

This made me go further in the article to find more about Gambling disorder, according to the current education, it's categorized under impulsive disorder, in the US they are actually treated with medicine like : Mood stabilizers, Opioids, antidepressants and antipsychotic pills.

Is your country doing enough to inform people about the disorder? It's does require medical treatment first and foremost therefore I do think I would suggest anyone banning their accounts and asking help from social platforms to go to a certified therapist. It's not a joke and should not be taken lightly.

Do you think the laws needs improvement?
Do you think as the parents mentioned that Gambling industry has a *predatory* stance, is true?

There's a law already available for that maybe what we need here is proper education towards gambling is needed to improve since I rarely see gambling awareness program that's why many people think about this as normal things in life. Also people are in denial about their current situation in gambling that's why its hard for expert to asses those certain situation and help people who's already been addicted. That's why counseling and frequently educating maybe thru social media and other mainstream platform can help people realize more about the risk and how they can get out with it.
2029  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MIR4 NFT game? on: March 07, 2022, 10:14:17 PM

SP at raid.

2030  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: March 07, 2022, 12:41:01 PM
Other than that, listing the token in an exchange requires a pretty huge amount of money.

Do you think it will be difficult for owl team to spend that amount of money on listing on a centralized exchange ? They are not a startup project which lack funds. They are generating good amount of money from their gambling site. Also they are running a signature campaign here and paying the participants on weekly basis. As far as i understand this, the money should not be a problem for them. Listed on centralized exchanges will give boost to the token price as well which indirectly will help the owl team.
It's just a matter of time for the OWL project to list on the centralized exchange or maybe they've done it without us knowing, and they may be just waiting for an announcement from the centralized exchange that their token is listed there. And yes, being listed on a centralized exchange will boost the token price, which means the project will be more famous as more investors will invest in the Owl project. We are waiting for the announcement from the team.

The hype for being listed on centralized exchange might happen but it all depends on which exchange where they choose to get listed since if people will see the exchange chosen is low volume or little bit unknown well instead of being hype they might get dismayed for the result of what they are waiting for this token. For now they need to present or perform well before they can get more potential investor to their project or token.
2031  Economy / Economics / Re: Who gain's from War ? on: March 07, 2022, 11:32:32 AM
The war could happen for different reasons. Most of the time war happen out of border conflicts. This time the war is happening to show power to the world.

Who benefits out of the war? it is always the country that manufactures weapons and necessary things for armed forces. Whenever there happens a war, each country will be backed by more other countries. Same as that this time Ukraine have got good support, and Russia is almost left alone. If I'm not wrong this time the war is made more sensible with the digital attack than armed forces.

Russia received sanctioned from different countries but still pushing forward.

While Ukraine continues getting worse damages, even the support is there, but protecting their homelands is far different,
they are suffering and if this war will continue for much longer time, they will collapse. No one wins aside from those who
manufactured weapons sad but more sufferings for people who only hope to live peacefully.
Russia really prepared all of this before they invaded Ukraine,
so that we can see for ourselves that when many countries in the world impose sanctions on Russia it is not a big problem that can hinder them from carrying out this invasion,
I hope that elite people from both sides can have diplomacy and end this war because after all, humanity is above all else

They impose sanction but Russian doesn't make this a big deal they know they play important role on global economy and look what happen inflation rate got higher because the price of oil soar up because of this war. So its best for this Ukraine should surrender because no other country help them in battle and other country which is their what they called ally just watching them dying in the war. I know they give fire arms or other support to Ukraine but this is not enough to defeat Russia.
2032  Economy / Economics / Re: Who gain's from War ? on: March 06, 2022, 11:46:59 PM
War is bad and it isn't good for any nation. Well of course, Ukraine might get to rebuild their nation with free money after the war comes to an end but that will take them years and for Russia, they will surely pay dearly for theirs.

Russia is self sustaining country and for sure they will get over with it then can came back immediately after those sanctions end.

What I think for now is Ukraine should surrender to Russia since they cannot really win if they go head to head battle with Russia so that there will be no more lives will be waste for this nonsense war. What Putin only want is they shouldn't join NATO so I guess they should do it for peace sake and so that they can end this war.
2033  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MIR4 NFT game? on: March 06, 2022, 10:28:28 PM

~
fill your tanks dahil magmamahal lalo.

2035  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Game of the Week 🎰 Lots of FREE SPINS 😉 on: March 04, 2022, 01:50:49 PM
It is great to see that there are still casinos out there that has a conscious and that are paying it forward and not just taking money, without giving back to the world.

At the time of writing this https://unchain.fund/ had raised over $2 000 000 and they have paid out $150,000 in aid. The transparency report can be accessed here ==> https://discord.com/invite/nUQW9w4juw to see where the money is going to.

It takes a lot of courage to openly support a cause like this, with the threat of Russian hackers that might be targeting sites like this. (or sites and services that supports them)  Wink

Bitcasino is known for being a generous crypto Casino, They are one of the Biggest and trusted casino here that actively giving promotion and free bets to all forum user without any bullshit rules to claim the prize. Simply this Casino and there sister company Sportsbet and Livecasino is the best in terms of giving back what they have there customer so I'm not surprised that they are launching there own donation drive to help Ukraine.

Suggestion to Karl, You can launch a promotion that you will give a portion of the players loss during the promotion period to the victims of war in Ukraine. So that gamblers will be happy even if they lose in time like this.

Good suggestion but I think its enough that they have donation campaign running already for aid of Ukraine citizens and I also think its to much if they go with that process then get a small percentage from players loss then give it to thea affected citizens in Ukraine. For sure there are other more companies doing this aid to and those profits they get is useful for another bad incidents that might happen in the world since they can use their profit to donate again in another cause.
2036  Economy / Economics / Re: War requires three things on: March 04, 2022, 12:12:23 PM
According to Napoleon, wars require just three things: "money, money and money". - this is probably not a true quote. "The sinews of war are infinite money" - this is attributed to Cicero and is probably true, " The first and most imperative necessity in war is money" - from Ida Turbel.... well I am sure you get the idea.

My question to the forum is how does Putin intend to make the war of aggression against Ukraine be eventually profitable?

We cannot see any benefits in Russian side on this wat since we see sanctions everywhere happening these days and people who are in Russia is suffering so much towards those sanction impose to them. The primary intention of Putin about this is Ukraine shouldn't join nato since the power of USA will widespread more and they can control the country they want to target, we can see how strong their presence since when they impose sanction on Russia many other country follows. That's why this war for Ukraine is maybe a way of Putin to warn others not to join on NATO.
2037  Economy / Gambling / Re: Join a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms on: March 04, 2022, 09:53:03 AM
Everyone would really boycott the firstly mentioned casinos as they've got scam accusations. I don't use most of them so I've got no issues whether they'll be boycotted or not.
I'm only familiar with two of them the gg.bet and pnxbet.com for esports. I didn't know that they're russian based. Anyway, as people boycott all of them or not, as long as I'm not even using it, can it be considered as boycotting or just ignoring them?

I ignore most of the site listed since in the first place majority of them got bad reputation here so I guess this is easy job for people to forget about that casinos since there are so many good one continuously running without any big issues occur and for now other Russian which is good well be out of my list since as stated its part of supporting Ukraine on their battle and maybe for simple action we do it will go to proper authority and they realized that they are been hurt to much in economical aspects.
2038  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: AXS and SLP available now on Coins.PH!!! on: March 03, 2022, 03:31:25 PM
Source: https://bitpinas.com/cryptocurrency/coins-phaxs-slp-axie-infinity/

I may consider staking AXS or being a LP provider to farm Ronin tokens later on.

I really doubt na may gagamit nito. Swerte pa nga nila kung may 10 silang mag transfer from Ronin to meta to coins.ph HAHAHHA

2039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto prices crash as threat of war looms on: March 03, 2022, 01:13:19 PM
In my opinion, the decline in the price of bitcoin in the last few days has nothing to do with the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The price of bitcoin dropped from $40k to $34k due to the massive sell-off. Even now, the bitcoin price started to rebound and rose up to 11.8% where the price went back up to around $43k.

It has something to do with these incident since we always see that there's a threat of huge crisis if the war will happen and that one fud people that's why there's a huge number of people getting panic on what they heard on the news. From now the price became stable so hopefully bitcoin can sustain it and recover back again then reach maybe upt $50k again.
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only Small % Of Tokens/Coins Survive on: March 03, 2022, 11:42:08 AM
This is why I take crypto space as a opportunity land, I have decided to only hold very limited number of coins because too many coins died since 2018 and some even died in just a year, when was the last time we heard a good news or even hype about QTUM and EOS?... They look abandoned to me.

The best way to make a profit in the market now is to hold a small number of coins with good and proven have proven their potential in the market if you are a risk-taker you can allocate funds for risk investment in the hope that the project will prove it's potential, projects come and go and don't live up to what they've promised it's important to follow the project and see if they are really dedicated and watch if they are going to abandon along the way.

Well we can check those coins which have good potential and one of the basis is they have good volume and also if they are listed at the top in the marketcap list sites. Choosing any other below or far from listed and got only small volume is so risky. Although some have potential but they are quite few and not good to buy when its late since for sure this is prone of manipulation.
