2041  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I make a bank account with fiat? when I have no fiat? on: May 27, 2019, 06:05:31 AM

Frankly speaking, it can get so difficult if you do not have proper identification documents which you can present to the bank where you want to open an account with. The best thing to do is to start accomplishing some of the required documents now. Don't entertain any excuses because this is for your own good nothing more nothing less. Yes, there are now many ways to get hold of an international debit card that is connected to cryptocurrency but because I am not using that I could not recommend one for you...just search on Google for that I am sure you can find that you can use anytime anywhere. Speaking realistically, we still need the services coming from traditional financial platforms whether we like it or not and going otherwise can be a burdensome.
2042  Other / Off-topic / Re: Setting up an investigation into Cryptopia, support our cause! on: May 27, 2019, 05:55:38 AM

I sympathized with the many victims of the eventual closure of Cryptopia and it is good to see that a band of traders are taking the necessary action to get into this thing and possibly obtain some justice for the trust, confidence and money lost. My support is with this group as the authorities are generally recognized to have failed to do their part in the investigation and the receivership of the exchange. This should have been serving as a big lesson to all cryptocurrency exchanges still existing.
2043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where BTC go on: May 27, 2019, 05:19:18 AM
Anyways, it's too early to call, there are TA 'experts' who might agree with your analysis, but as far as bitcoin goes, it has still the momentum as of now and pushing higher than $8k. So maybe you're right it could go down as low as $6860 before eventually having a break out run to $10k in the next coming months.
the bitcoin cycle still has a chance to experience a decline before the pump is high, maybe that will happen when the next few months the price can reach above $ 10k

Bitcoin is jumping right now and it almost get into the $9,000 level. Well, while there is nothing wrong with listening to many people's analysis bitcoin has this habit of being a very unpredictable beast and so it can move fast in the direction we thought not possible. Hopefully, soon we can witness bitcoin getting into the $10,000 zone and beyond...and this can happen within the month of June unless some bad news can influence its energy and strength.
2044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best activities happened this week to read more in crypto world on: May 27, 2019, 05:07:15 AM
Not sure if there are english articles published but would also be worth to read about Bitcoin situation in Brazil, such things as:
  • Blockchain being used as a way to try to stop financial fraud
  • IRS / Government started to charge Crypto transactions that are over 7k USD/month
  • Universities are now allowed to teach about Bitcoin

Also
  • Swiss stock exchange works on the creation of stablecoin backed in the Swiss franc
  • BitConnect V2

The Bitconnect is soon resurrecting or so what I read in some news site and indeed if you to their site they already have an announcement for this. I could not understand why would anyone breathe a new life to a brand very much associated with scam and fraud. Or are they preparing something new this time and just using the name maybe for publicity? I am actually one of the many victims of this scam and when I heard it can be back I am getting curious and wondered. Let's see what Bitconnect is up to this time...soon!
2045  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy btc with cash on: May 27, 2019, 04:55:35 AM
Well im putting down 65000$ so kinda worried  Roll Eyes

That is a lot of money so I understand why you are really cautious over the sale. What I know is that just one confirmation is enough for the transaction to be completed but exchanges usually wait for more before you can do something with your bitcoin. Just like what others are saying here, transacting with that big amount of money can be so risky but then if it went through then it is okay.
2046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A shocking truth! on: May 27, 2019, 04:43:42 AM
Quote
Procrastination is a thief of money (crypto version).

I am not surprised with this shocking truth anymore as it is so common when we talk about investments and opportunities. So why are we procrastinating? There are many reasons for that but the main one is doubt. Just like the example that you gave here with that of BNB at $20 I for one can conclude that it is already too high and I might be waiting for BNB to go down a bit maybe around $15 for me to enter but alas the problem is that it kept on going up. The same thing can happen if we are not prepared with the coming big or parabolic bull run of Bitcoin.
2047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way for me to invest $700,000 into cryptos? on: May 27, 2019, 04:30:14 AM
You say that you are involved in bitcoin for a very long time so I guess that you have good skills in trading.
If I got it right he said he is involved with BTC for a very long time not involved with trading.. and you have to keep in mind that not everyone is a trader, some are just hodlers..

For now, I have recently become interested in higher risk intra day trading - but personally, this is not my area of expertise.

This forum can be the riskiest place to look for a good trading partner as OP can just be exposing himself and his money to many good scammers around. Now, the best thing to do is to learn the whole thing yourself but since it can take time OP is looking for an able and professional partner. I am advising OP to deal with a group (akin to an agency) which has a good track record and experience as dealing with just one person can increase the risk.
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW LCM Coin Launch on: May 27, 2019, 04:15:31 AM
LCM Coin is an experimental new kind of  digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world. LCM Coin Introducing a completely new blockchain uses Hybrid POW & dynamic POS SHA 256D for it’s backbone of the transactions & a pos (proof of stake) system that pays pos miners dynamically. Titan can be used to send/receive and store value, with the rise of the blockchain many reasons to opt in to the titan community is the ability to receive and store airdrops free which in turn you can stake and store the value, helping to grow the network and be rewarded for running local software wallets that provide a stronger network overall. Tipping friends on social media on exchanges and within our giveaway forums you in turn help grow the community.
Will this coin have an ico?Can you share us more info about it and some article? This coin sounds like a new and improve coin that will help us on social media so i wanna read some info about it can you provide us with that?

I am hoping there is an ICO or maybe an IEO can be better as doing it on a reputable exchange can mean more exposure and more trust for the project. Maybe there should be an ANN for this project and if there is already then maybe OP should also share this here. I can see some potential for this project if what they are claiming here can be true and viable.
2049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EXPOSED: The real creator of Bitcoin is ... on: May 27, 2019, 04:01:26 AM

Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudo name to cover who the real creator is, and since the name sounds or similar to Japanese name many thinks Satoshi originates from Japan. Up to this day, nobody knows who really created bitcoin and I think this will remain as a mystery for a long-time, or maybe forever. There had been a lot of claim to satoshi's creation, but a lot failed to provide proof. I guess it's best to remain that way since Satoshi really intends to remain anonymous leaving no proof of his real identity.

Or maybe we can just turn to Craig Wright and then believe everything he is claiming to be true, we can even worship him  under his own feet. Of course, I am just kidding. There will always be a great interest as to who and what is Satoshi Nakamoto. I think until there can be someone who show up and can move the many bitcoin addresses Satoshi owned then this mystery will likely deepen and we can hear so many conflicting and intriguing theories and guesses as to the whereabouts of the man who created blockchain and bitcoin for us. As to the theory that somehow the government is involved here, I think that can be so easy to debunked as it is a very old theory and only a few seriously believe on that.
2050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin is "a fair share"? on: May 27, 2019, 03:46:26 AM

I don't fully understand the point of "fair share" or if there is really such a thing. This is assuming that all people are interested with bitcoin and that everybody should be owning some. Unfortunately, bitcoin is not a like a communistic pie that we have to equally divide with all people... and in fact if you don't have the money to buy bitcoin and you are not ready to exert some effort to get some then at the end of the day even if bitcoin can go parabolic and reach $100,000 you will have zero. Okay, I might have been carried away with that statement. My point is that you can have as small or as big as you want because at the end of the day your fair share is what you can afford to have.
2051  Bitcoin / Press / [2019-05-27] Bitcoin Hits New 2019 High Above $8,900 on: May 27, 2019, 03:20:45 AM

Bitcoin’s price has once again set a new high for 2019 after breaking out from a bullish pattern on the daily chart, reaching as high as $8,905 before retracing slightly.

At 19:00 UTC on May 26, the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization broke from an ascending triangle pattern on the daily chart, courtesy of being held beneath $8,250 for an extended period of time.

The move to fresh 2019 highs has come at a time when prices were beginning to creep to the downside, touching as low as $6,600 on May 17 before a large amount of buying pressure pushed prices back above $7,300 within the same day.

Since then prices have once again jumped by 22 percent, first rising above $8,500 on Sunday night in bullish fashion, then reaching over $8,700 within half an hour.

Bitcoin is so bullish today that it reached the $8,900 zone before slowing down and now steadying at around $8,700+ which is a good run considering that it just took within hours. Now, we are looking if the King of Coins can be able to finally breach the $9,000 level. I am getting optimistic that within June, bitcoin can be able to break the $10,000 barrier. Soon a big FOMO will land on bitcoin and that can be the time when there can be a parabolic jump...though personally I still prefer a steady growth over a sudden one.
2052  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 27, 2019, 03:09:40 AM
Bitcoin just jumped to 8,5k USD, with a new high compared to previous uprise, will this be the turn above 10k USD, seems to be easy for BTC this time?

I am a little bit surprised of this sudden jump I was thinking that it will first go and stay at around $8,300. Now in case bitcoin will be jumping around as it is doing today then there is a big possibility that days from now it can reach the $10,000 zone...this is getting to be an exciting month for the King of Crypto. However, am more excited of what bitcoin can become next year which is the schedule for another halving and I am sure there will be more good news with possibility of ETF approval by the SEC.
2053  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020's gonna be lit!! on: May 27, 2019, 02:53:39 AM
Next year is gonna be a lotta excitement for all of us the Bitcoin community and cryptospace at large. Should this be anither "parabolic move," Bitcoin gonna soar high because

* Halving is on its way 2020
* and I'm hoping Facebook's "GlobalCoin" comes after that- (this is going to introduce about a Billion people to Bitcoin and crypto)
* Craig Wright's sh*t has been gotten over haha
lastly, another possible China FUD Smiley lol

Make sure you're hooked up onto your seat- it's gonna be an exciting ride hopefully Cheesy

I agree that 2020 can be considered as the year when bitcoin will really explode for good making it the best investment vehicle among its peer. There are many exciting news right now that can affect bitcoin towards the end of the year and into 2020. The halving is a big event and there is a big possibility that next year ETF can already be approved...just imagine how these two factors pushing bitcoin up into the stratosphere. Definitely, this is the best time to hoard more bitcoin in expectation for the best that can happen in 2020. Should we then expect that bitcoin will finally reach beyond $20,000? I think and hope so...
2054  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin transactions costs in the future on: May 27, 2019, 02:30:11 AM

Nobody will ever supply electricity for free that is impossible in this world we live in and even if you can be talking about the power of the sun there will always be generation and operational cost. Now even if the electricity is free, you have a big investment with the equipment and other related expenses. The most important here is that there is always the development of better mining equipment that hopefully will do things faster and most importantly more efficient in the use of power (this is a big concern for many especially environmentalists). I am looking forward to many good innovations and changes soon in the bitcoin mining industry.
2055  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-26] Bitcoin May Be Entering 2-3 Bull Market Now, Morgan Creek CEO Says on: May 27, 2019, 02:06:33 AM
Bitcoin exchanges are already seeing all-time high volumes, with futures reaching 1.2 billion USD. Meanwhile, both retail investors, as well as financial institutions, such as Fidelity, are moving back into the crypto market.

Right now, figures are speaking volume of the overall very positive market sentiment. I am sure that there are now many financial firms already looking at bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency and finding ways how they can made good money especially that stocks are tanking. We are really in the very exciting times for bitcoin and soon a big FOMO will start to be forming.
2056  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: easy bite for scammers on: May 27, 2019, 01:54:13 AM
how many ICOs here at this forum turned out to be scams? more than you can imagine , it is not easy to catch the scammers and the best thing is just to avoid investing in any projects you have doubts about usually risky means borderline scam and if the offer/ico sounds too good to be true it usually is

Right now, people are not anymore expressing trust and confidence with projects under the ICO platform and that is why many are into STOs and of course the getting popular IEOs which can help minimize scams though still not a guarantee that they will not be. On our part, we should always due our due diligence. What the market really lacks is the presence of good rating agencies...most of what we have right now can be paid of what to publish.
2057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Money Illusion on: May 26, 2019, 04:14:04 PM

Wow! This is actually an eye-opener video on money, currency and the big lie that in the past and into the present being sold into the people. The real money is always gold and silver as all fiat monies in the past not one ever survived. As many governments all over the world are now prone to solved their problems by printing more and more paper money, inflation is eating up the purchasing power of the people. As the money in circulation increases, the lesser the people get. Now, am thinking how can this be connected to bitcoin. Well, bitcoin is now considered to be the digital gold and just like bitcoin it is essentially limited and can function as money and as store of value.

I will probably use it but still treat it as any other fiat currency with censorship, government regulations,  freezing/seizing of fund etc.. My main fund will definitely be held in a decentralized coin with my private keys under my control.

I am looking at Facebook's GlobalCoin with both eyes open for possibilities yet cautious for its potential. Well, we still don't have the clear and full picture of this platform more than its name. It seems to be seen how things will turn out for this Facebook venture. But one thing for sure: Facebook and the people behind this cryptocurrency will do everything they can to make it a grand success but how the market will respond that is something we are excitedly watching.
2060  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-23] 'BTC Is Not Bitcoin’ Says Craig Wright on: May 26, 2019, 02:54:13 PM
And now the show has to go on...welcome to the world of Craig Wright where the truth can be twisted and realities turned into nightmares. Okay, I am just being carried away by the continuing "assault" of Craig Wright against the cryptocurrency community. I am suggesting that the whole community now declare Craig Wright as the official Joker and Comedian.

Truth can't be twisted when it comes to him providing the evidence of being Satoshi by simply signing from the address containing the genesis block reward. I must admit though, this con artist is a champion in generating publicity. Who would have thought that a simple copyright registration (that you and me at home can easily replicate) would cause that much hype. It even doubled the value of BSV, now that's a successful PR stunt, lol.

At least, we have to give our recognition for what he did on this part and I am sure that publicists can learn a thing or two on the effective strategies he and his minions are using to create this kind of buzz resulting into the pump of his own coin. The man though a liar seems to know what he is doing and I am sure he already expected this kind of result. And though many of us do hate the man, still he is a survivor and who knows what can be his next move but one for sure it can certainly be controversial again.
