2061  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are rich countries rich and poor countries poor? on: May 27, 2017, 10:12:05 PM
Its simple rich countries developed technologies and battled corruption early on. The main reason poor countries stay poor is because they are getting robbed by the people running their countries. The technology is there for every country in the world to become developed.

Underdevelopment is due to a number of reasons. You can't single out a particular reason. Corruption and lack of education are among the top reasons, but each have exceptions. For example, Turkmenistan was recently rated as the 6th most corrupt country in the world by Forbes. But still it remains a very rich country.

Because Turkmenistan is like Venezuela before the oil price drop.
They have one of the biggest natural gas deposits in the world and huge oil deposits with just 6 million citiziens (venezuel 31 million citiziens).

Electricity, water, gas and oil (some hundred liters per month) is free.... free.... venezuela much? Roll Eyes
They are just lucky that they have 1/5 of the population.
2062  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mark Zuckerberg: Free Money for Everyone on: May 27, 2017, 04:56:15 PM
What a pathetic attempt at virtue signaling. If Zuckerberg is serious about the universal basic income then it's time to put up or shut up! He's a billionaire, he could easily provide for several thousand people and have enough money to have a normal life Grin

These billionaires exploit the poor they do not help the poor.

It is true that the billionaires have no obligation to help the poor, but if the billionaires help the poor the world would be very different.

But what about natural selection?
Normaly this people would just die and vanish from the gene pool, but with universal income they will just procreate like rabbits/cockroaches/rats.

By that logic the entire world is a pump and dump

Well yes, the entire crypto market is a pump and dump.  As the syscoin dev, I'm sure you're well aware of this.  Trying to tell people that they should have every cent in crypto is ridiculous.  If the price of bitcoin doubles it's not a very big deal to me unless I would have actually had the foresight to max leverage trade it beforehand.  Gains are really only interesting to me when I can leverage them, but there's not even a good leverage exchange for trading BTC now, which is one of my main annoyances of the bitcoin market.
I never said either of those things. Yes as the syscoin dev I do alot of reading and I check out code of projects that deem worthy. I know where the market is headed and whats driving it. I am establishing foundations for entire states to start using crypto. I'm making changes in the world, how about you? What will you be known for?

You should have told us about the syscoin pump  Angry

@leverage

As far as i know you can still go 10x leverage on some exchanges/service providers.

@bitcoin/crypto

I think it is likely to see an ath of 5 k at the end of this year.

And i agree with roach that you should not go all-in in crypto.

I have been telling people to buy sys because of whats coming. Check my posts. BM WEB is still to come so still a good time to get in.

Thanks i will check it out Smiley

I think both BTC and XMR are gonna take a hit..  Lips sealed

If btc bottoms at 2k then im very happy Smiley

I sold half of my xmr stash in the last few days when it went .022+.
Some thoughts about a xmr bottom?
2070  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A beautiful disaster for the Philippines on: May 26, 2017, 06:36:17 PM
He kills so many drug users or drug lords, Because the president of the philipines he is so angry that kind of people and many innocent people die because of them.

http://cnnphilippines.com/news/2017/02/09/PNP-Vigilante-group-operating-in-the-guise-of-drug-war.html

Apparently its a rival drug gang vs another drug gang. Stupid, Retard, Idiot do you know business? I run a business and most businesses tends to take out the other. Educate yourself.

Well, I wouldn't care much. Even if one drug gang is taking out the others, overall it is good for the society. The total number of drug dealers will decline, along with the volumes.

Rofl

Yeah exactly that is how it will work out.
Jeez this 3rd world people like sithara so bigly smart  Cheesy
2071  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When great leaders meet in sicily there will be no migrants on: May 26, 2017, 05:37:11 PM
Agree. Border control was one of the issues that turned the election in favor of leavers. When ever you hear leavers complain, it's usually about the unruly immigrants who clash with the police.

OK... leavers won. But what is going to happen after that? Angela Merkel want the United Kingdom to provide freedom of movement to all the European Union citizens (including the asylum seekers).

UK can just enforce the pre-EU rules.  Only citizens from certain countries will be allowed visa free.  All others with valid passports can apply for tourist, business, immigration visas etc.

BTW, asylum seekers are not EU citizens.  Merkel is saying what she wants them to be: voters  aka 'citizens'.

People without valid passports should not be allowed into ANY country.  This situation in Germany is insane.

Ethnic Germans should show some balls....

Feel free to visit germany and tell us your story afterwards.

Btw dont fall for weird conspiracy theories. For the german naturalisation process to start you have to atleast live 8 years in germany and have been granted permanent residence. The last one is quite difficult to get if you dont work.

Without being german you cannot vote and our ID system is centuries ahead of the US american one.
2072  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Manchester Explosion on: May 26, 2017, 04:49:12 PM
This day is a terror day.  In philippines there is maute group who terrorize the southern philippines.  In UK there is a blast in arianne grande concert.  Something is wrong in this world people nowadays get crazy.

And one more happened in Jakarta last night. There was a big explosion. Last I saw the news there was no casualties except the perpetrator who turned out this is a suicide bombing. I'm not too sure about the next news. The point is, the world is now insecure. Terror can happen anywhere and anytime, we must be very careful.

This is a very big warning signal. The terrorists are always improvising, using better and better explosive devices. This time, the civilians were lucky. But don't wait until they develop some deadly explosive device.

Duh. Everyone with half a brain and internet can build a nuke if he has enough fissile material.

Luckily ISIS are 3rd world goatfuckers.

As bitcoin's price goes higher over time, the volatility will decrease.  They said.

The % volatility will decrease, they said.  Riiiight.

Bitcoin hovered around 10-20 billion until the pump started.
We are still pretty much in infancy state.

The liquidity is still weak in comparison to strong fiat currency ($, €, £, ¥).
But even they had quite the volatility over the last 2 years.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Medical student $300k+ in debt... Crypto investments a way out? on: May 25, 2017, 11:31:02 PM
Is this a troll?

A doctor starts earning upwards 5000-6000+  € per month.
Just get your college done and go work.

Or rethink and dont go to college at all.

Lending money to speculate in crypto especially altcoins is a full retard move.
2078  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will trump be assassinated in Israel? on: May 25, 2017, 11:11:08 PM
And are you sure that ISIL is not cooperating with the Russians and the Americans. Maybe they're not beneficial to the Trump murder. I wonder if they even will keep Trump from outside the control of the Muslims. In politics you never know who is friend and who is foe.

I am sure that the Russians are not cooperating with the ISIS. But the same can't be said about the Americans. The previous administration (the one under Barack Obama) had made quite a few deals and adjustments with the ISIS, as they wanted to use the latter against Assad. Not just the Americans, even the Israelis and the Turks had deals with them.

I am sure that russia is supporting the taliban.
So its obvious russia supports ISIS too.

Taliban was created by the CIA, to fight against the Russians, right? So why would they support the Taliban? That would be like insulting all those thousands of soldiers, who died fighting the Taliban.

Did your government shutdown the television network in the 80's where you live?
We have year 2017 now. Half the world (the half lead by the USA) fights the taliban in afghanistan.

USA and russia are no buddies.
Russia supports taliban.

The taliban and ISIS are both islamic fanatics and buddies.
Russia supports ISIS.
