2061  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbet.io - Main sponsor of Southampton FC on: July 23, 2021, 05:40:19 AM
So all our Watford discussions ended up with Stake taking them. I feel like Watford did the best things for themselves but if Steve explained already, then everyone made a winning decision in the end. Watford got Bitcoin out in EPL, and then SB continued to sponsor them in Championship, and then now we have Southampton and Arsenal. Having another competitor in crypto in EPL is good for everyone!
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 23, 2021, 05:07:17 AM
Manchester City are prepared to offer one of Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus, 24, Algeria captain Riyad Mahrez, 30, Portugal midfielder Bernardo Silva, 26, or England attacker Raheem Sterling, 26, as part of a deal to tempt Tottenham to sell England captain Harry Kane.source
Honestly letting Mahrez (€42m) go that way for Kane is shameful. Sterling (€90m) last season wasn't top but he is a good player. GJ (€60m) and Silva (70€) meh ok they can replace them...

Well,,, if we really do this, then I will be the first to say it sounds like a good deal. Losing Kane will be a blow to us as a club, and especially as supporters. But we all felt him saying goodbye last season and if we actually get Mahrez and Sterling? Mahrez has been growing so well and is at his peak. Sterling I feel not so good but he is still young. Getting Jesus and Sterling together does not fill the hole of Kane but at least we get a lot of creative options.

Holy wow you guys are still alive:)

I remember you very well,,, one of my earliest faucets, and then I made the mistake of moving all my beans to POScoin (or something like that) to let them manage my wallet and then when they retired it I lost everything.

Good to see you still going,,, honestly you reminded me a lot of the friendly DOGE community:)
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red flags in the bear market.FBI Warns&Dow plunge. on: July 22, 2021, 04:38:59 PM
what do you really think?
From the beginning, the crypto market grew by pumps and dumps. traders and investors enjoy it all as learning to study the market. Don't confuse the stock market, oil, and other investments with crypto. it will be different when the analytical skills you use do not develop.
the market is grown to attract more new investors. then the market will drop to allow the old investors to enter at a lower price. in the course of the market, they will be back in the pump.

Exactly. I really never understand why people cry and whine and complain,,, this is normal and we all NEED the market to go pump and dump like this to make it interesting for new players and speculators.

I think without them,,, even the holders and users would get bored. Then we would all get a different form of complaining. Enjoy the ride.
2065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 22, 2021, 04:15:47 PM
I have to admit that your transfer for Bryan Gil looks like one of the silliest ones so far. I don't understand that at all, he isn't that good anyway and he's also playing in Son's position.

I also struggle to understand why are you trying so hard to get rid of Sanchez. Ok, he's not the perfect CB you maybe thought you got when he started well, but you're basically trying to chip him in for whatever somebody's ready to give.

I really loved what you did under Poch (not maybe transfers, but your results with a low net spend) but you're losing me for some time already. Shame, you looked ready to break the top 4.

Oh,,, you break my heart every time I hear Poch I feel sad. I said enough already from the day he was sacked that we made a terrible mistake,,, and even though I accepted Mourinho I knew it was only a matter of time.

As I said, our system of recruitment and management (giving only head coach responsibilities to the manager) is not going to work and the good teams prove this like yours.

We are in Conference League and that is proof we are on the decline,,, I honestly hope new manager is given time and power but we all know that is naive to expect from our board:(
2066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will Government's Stablecoin be listed on Exchanges? on: July 22, 2021, 02:59:11 PM
Probably if it happens,,, it will be the governments moving to list them and only as part of crypto regulation + licensing. In fact,,, I believe now they might even make it a requirement that if you operate in the country maybe you can only fiat off ramp with their CBDC.

Remember what happened with Venezuela and Petro? Sign of the future:)
2067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DOT] Polkadot Speculation on: July 22, 2021, 02:17:43 PM
Finally the DOT has been in a movement of great recovery, after having been in a downtrend the bulls have managed to beat the DOT bears, it should be noted that there were many who had been buying in the fall, at no time the investors of Dot have let the coin drop a lot, this article gives an idea of how the coin continues to move:

I think a lot of the reason is that MATIC (Polygon) seems to have won the fight over Polkadot when it comes to attracting all these big defi companies and minor platforms,,, I could be wrong but I think that put some pressure on DOT.

The first big platform to fall though and I think some day it will when a major smart contract issue is found,,, will determine who is left to rise.
2068  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbet.io - Main sponsor of Southampton FC on: July 22, 2021, 11:51:33 AM
I was saying this to someone just the other day when I saw the other photo posted a few weeks ago. These Watford jerseys will be collector's items since they are the first professional sports team to have the BTC logo promoted in a position which is clearly seen.
Especially the ones that were signed by the entire Watford team when they first announced their partnership over a year ago.
If they get back into the EPL then you are going to see the value of these autographed ones shoot through the roof. Wink

But they already are back right hehe,,, but YA I bet you if these guys ever go down one day again and then come back up years in the future, or who knows, the even become Champions of EPL one day like Leicester did (odds 5000x but Watford less than 800 so who knows right) then that shirt is going to be magic;)

2069  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: correct trading signals on: July 22, 2021, 10:00:27 AM
3 correct signals out of 5? I wish it could be right but never have I heard that story as there is no signal groups could give you that. If ever they tell you that, just be careful because it only makes you a fool knowing that the market is unpredictable. Because if they correct and their signals is working, they are supposed to become rich this time and even those who just join with them but apparently, nothing could with that scenario as these signals, paid signals are worthless.

Indeed. 3 out of 5, what a big sample. And that is still not enough to make a judgment. What is the lot size or unit size? What is the take profit and stop loss percentage? What is the timeframe? If you lose 5% on 2 trades,,, you have have to make 5% on 3 trades and then account for fees and commissions.

Time to stop dreaming people:)
2070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Decentralized Finance (DeFi) on: July 22, 2021, 08:58:10 AM
Then again, maybe the goal isn't to be #1 in DeFi.   Huh

What do you folks think a Bitcoin DeFi network would look like? Do you think we would see anything truly unique?

He probably has not experienced how defi actually looks. If crypto is a terrible, scammy space,,, full of speculators and wannabes,,, defi is where the worst of them go to. Nobody cares about adoption or utility or whatever nice things decentralized finance is supposed to do. It is just pure profit and who gets out first.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 22, 2021, 08:26:35 AM
I saw this rumor: https://www.teamtalk.com/news/euro-transfer-gossip-liverpool-ready-shift-fading-star-klopp-ups-ante-e30m-successor-tottenham-defender-swap

I always admired Firmino and wished we had someone like him in my team (Spurs) because we would have had a huge lot of assists for Kane and Son, I think he even works perfect in a formation with them together.

But is Liverpool really going to sell him and replace him with some unknown like Donyell Malen? Seems so weird for me.
2072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch Live Here : Elon Musk Event 21/7/2021 on: July 22, 2021, 06:56:33 AM
I am asking about Bitcoin mining operations running off of nuclear energy. Are there any that do this?

I remember there was a lot of news even in 2019 about Russia opening nuclear plants specifically for cryptocurrency mining and other tech operations. Like there were a few old nuclear plants and they designed a new one just to attract these kinds of companies. I wonder what happened to them?

See this: https://www.coindesk.com/a-russian-nuclear-plant-is-renting-space-to-energy-hungry-bitcoin-miners
2073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] OUDToken - Real Green Cryptocurrency on: July 22, 2021, 06:32:20 AM
Anyway,,,  Green energy gamechanger is a fancy way of saying we are trying to jump on the bandwagon but using a token and Ethereum which is totally not needed. You want to change the game? Show us a more efficient way to use crypto, without adding another useless token to the mix.

I noticed, only newbies are posting here. I hope the team is not employing those accounts to bump their thread. If they have confidence on this project, they will let the community show interest on their project. Also, ICO is not a thing anymore in sourcing funds. It is hard to attain targets these days, unless, the platform itself has already big backers to endorse their network. I believe it is also better to tap private investors to make sure they can get their funds here.

Of course all are paid accounts shilling and bumping.

ICO is still a way, by the way but now they like to do "IDO" on DEXs,,, and they are still working strangely enough. Loads of newbies.

2074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto bans are temporary, we are on the right side of history. on: July 22, 2021, 04:54:31 AM
I believe when something is new, it’s very hard for a set of people to understand. So, they move ahead with term called ban
Cryptocurrency is the next big thing and one cannot change that. It's a revolution blended with economic evolution .
Governments should take time and study the importance of cryptocurrencies

It is not just about new things. Some new things people can accept rightaway without understanding it,,,remember like foldable phones or flat TVs or people going to space who are not funded by the state for example;)

It is when things force you to change your life is when the problems arise. Like email changed the way we send letters or faxes. Or how crypto change the way we needed states and banks to help us send money.
2075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a Game . on: July 22, 2021, 04:10:11 AM
if you are a good trader you will never take the risk because it's a big mistake and its like you're wasting your time gaining information and practicing your skills for how many days or months but after all you will take all the risk in trading. Lmao so change your mindset bro because you cannot call your self a trader if you have such point of view. Educate your self more instead so that you know how to avoid losses and doing mistakes in trading because it's not a scam thing like what you said.

You must be a really bad trader then if you think there is such a thing as never taking a risk in trading or if there is at all such a thing as riskfree trading.

Not sure why you commented on the guy saying it was a scam either as nowhere did he even say that,,, he was saying that newbies use it as an excuse when they fail.

Sadly, only a handful of all of you commenters actually have any idea of trading it seems.

Polygon introduced the Polygon Studios division focused on blockchain games and the NFT ecosystem. It will promote targeted products and support developers engaged in these segments. Recently, the number of gamers in the Polygon network has exceeded 100,000

Trying to get into the gaming scene on L2 now,,, any suggestions on which I should look at? And how exactly can I find a list of all of them? Sorry, I know am a newbie I did not get into defi (and still am not) but potentially looking into gaming with NFTs and Polygon seems to be a good match because of ETH compatibility.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red flags in the bear market.FBI Warns&Dow plunge. on: July 21, 2021, 03:09:45 PM
I don't understand one thing. What is the point in saying that the dip in Bitcoin prices is caused by the NYSE market crash? It should be the other way around, right? If the stock markets are down, then the cryptocurrency prices should be going up. If the stocks markets give good returns, then the attractiveness of cryptocurrency diminishes, if I am not wrong. If the same is true with gold (when stock market goes down, the gold prices go up), then I don't understand how it can be different for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.

Because as much as Bitcoin likes to think it is on its own and has gone a new way away from the traditional markets, so far this last 2 years it has shown it is still highly correlated.

Think back to March 2020 last year when the stocks and oil totally crashed (oil even became negative). Bitcoin also crashed to the lowest point in 3 years.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 21, 2021, 01:43:13 PM
I really don't like these rumors of Henderson leaving Liverpool. We already lost Wijnaldum (a starting midfielder), losing another one (and a captain as well) in the same transfer window would really be irresponsible.

I understand that the club is not in a rush to give him a new big contract just yet considering he's 31 years old, but at east keep him for a year or 2 and then pick your options.

He would not generate a lot of money due to his age but would be a major loss both on the pitch and in the dressing room.

I commented in another thread about this yesterday and today and I simply think the rumors are not just unfounded but totally ridiculous,,, and I am not even Liverpool fan Smiley

First of all, he is happy at the club and has 2 years left on contract.

Second of all,,, the club are not like that when it comes to transfer market. They are not irresponsible and they seem to like keeping players happy and parting on good terms.

I am a Spurs person so imagine how envious I am of your system.
2079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pride and prejudice against cryptocurrency investors on: July 21, 2021, 01:03:20 PM
Friendly advice, don't waste time convincing someone that something is good or bad, right or wrong - adults are not children but fully formed people who in most cases do not want to accept other people's explanations or suggestions. The reasons may be that they just have a low IQ and can’t figure out some things, to the point that they’re just jealous of what you’re doing and don’t want to admit it.

If you're happy with what you're doing, don't worry about what your friends think about it - you're not doing anything illegal that their advice should be considered well-intentioned. Life is too short to worry about what others think, the sooner you understand it the better for you.

In my experience also, the people who are most willing to give advice or convince someone usually do not have the full information themselves and can even often give the wrong advice.

Human nature is also such that once you are convinced,,, then you have high expectations of profit. And then when things eventually do not work out (as is crypto),,, they blame you.

This is the fastest way to lose family and friends.

Henderson out of Liverpool, this would be a bizarre decision. I can't see Henderson in any other club than Liverpool, belong to each other.
it seems to me that it will pass the same as Coutinho, and wherever he goes it will be a step backwards for him.

to be clear, I am not a fan of Liverpool. Even on the contrary.

totally agree,,, as I said myself am not a fan, but unlike you maybe I am just neutral and do not dislike them (I love their coach and their players attitudes) except of course when they meet my team.

But it is clear as day to see every time they play that Henderson belongs there. Unlike Countinho he is happy with them. If he leaves it will be because he is not wanted there and I cannot see either Liverpool act like this towards their captain.
