Just got into a Skype call with them. They're really helpful so I wouldn't worry if you have invested on them, just be patient.
Oh, and if you have sent them coins through Kraken, try find your transaction in your history, if it's too old it won't show the Ledger's Transaction ID so you'd better email Kraken's support, send them the withdrawal ID and ask them for the traceable transaction ID. Keep that email for proof.

A GOOD decentralized exchange is much needed.

Nowadays we've to choose between a high fees exchange (Bittrex, Bitfinex) with a healthy system or low fees and randomly working site (eg: Cryptopia). Why would Bitfinex charge me 2€ if I want to deposit 20€ worth of ETH to them, on top of the exchange fees from my wallet and trading fees and withdraw fees? The exchanges are turning into a centralized force and (indirectly) into price manipulators.

1ST has a solid team and plan and I wouldn't mind buying tokens at that low price... if I could find a decent exchange that is! Well, that has worked fine in the past: https://etherdelta.com/#1ST-ETH It also support Ledger Nano S, I used it to try trade.
2083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] 0.0 % fee Promotional launch tiny-pool.com on: February 24, 2018, 12:36:53 PM
Your site is down... so I'm just wondering... will it ever open again or did you close shop?
They seemed to have some issues with basic stuff so I wouldn't be surprised if they just kept what coins they had unsent and left.

They sold a lot of coins and now we find out that the software is not working ... Some time ago I immediately ran a test and found that it was impossible to send a coin to a friend from the android wallet, while it was possible to do it through the CLI wallet. All of this is not professional and I believe it will follow a similar path to electroneun (ETN). A beautiful site, a nice idea, many have believed and spent a lot of USDs. For now, the staff has many dollars ... and for now they keep them (and goodnight?) ... the value of the coins will collapse and will remain only a nice project on paper? I do not know !

I just started reading about GRAFT so I won't comment on its team, however you're mistaken about ETN. I follow the Electroneum project and the team is great with often updates through emails and tweets.
They're probably active on other social channels too, but I'm just not following these channels. Here's for example their tweets: https://twitter.com/electroneum/with_replies

2086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on OKEX 🔹 on: February 23, 2018, 10:21:18 PM
ARK is one of my fav coins...It has been far from its natural 20-25th coinmarketcap position for a while now...Actual price is still dirt cheap for this unique gem.
.... which is great! I have more time to keep mining and buying ARK! To be honest, I got a bit restless when I heard the news of the Marketing Advisor, I hope he will take his time and not advertise the ARK too soon, I want to keep buying cheap! Cool
2087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QBIC [QBIC] - Masternodes, PoW, Secure, ASIC Resistance on: February 23, 2018, 10:15:09 PM
I won 15 Qbic on airdrop, when the price was 25USD, and i still holding, i believe the project have a good future. Low max supply help too.
You've lost your chance to become a bit richer. You could sell them for 25 USD and buy again fo a 1 USD, if you like the QBIC so much, and increased your own assets by 25 times. But I prefer to sell all QBIC and forget once and for all.
Are those south.exchangem stock.exchange and BTC-Alpha secured to trade? Can I withdraw my money out of those? Thanks.
I made an account on BTC-Alpha just to sell QBIC when I noticed that the devs were acting so unprofessionally, I sold for BTC and bought ZEC which had the lowest fee, then withdrew to another exchange in order to buy my favorite coin. This whole procedure took only a few hours, I can't remember exactly but it was within 6 hours for sure.

Can I get some insight to the naming behind Bulwark?

Thanks,

Strange, the name and the icon were the first things that caught my eye. I like it as it is, it promotes the idea of security and that this coin will never be attacked successfully ! *couch* *couch* Lips sealed

Welcome Jeremy!! Reading his "speech" makes me feel reassured, ARK's image is in good hands.

Curious where folks are mining this wonderful coin?
I was mining here: https://tiny-pool.com/?address=c5xyqaeDMd6am1kwE5CZ7jXhyQiRNbKz1v
But I see now that it's disabled, probably something to do with the fork after 20k block. I had no issues when I was mining this coin there though.

What fork? What's gonna happen on the block n. 20k ?
I couldn't find any official info on this thread. Does that have to do with the disabled wallet in crypto-bridge?
2092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Criteria For Flipping on: February 22, 2018, 12:41:30 PM
Excuse me, it's probably just me but ... what is flipping? Like, selling the moment you get the coins in your "hands"?

Hey, no worries Rivange, I should have explained more elaborately.
The phrase "to flip a coin/token" refers to the process of getting into an ICO for instance (where you get a relatively cheap price), then holding the aquired token/coin just long enough for it to hit an exchange, where you are looking to sell, as prices usually increase once it is listed and demand is high. So basically it is the opposite of a long term hold.

Does that make sense to you?

Oh... I see. Thanks, your explanation makes perfect sense, though the choice of naming doesn't make much sense! Tongue
I guess it's hard to name this tactic anyway though.

On the subject of discussion, for flipping I'd look for anything that would make people believe in the coin, otherwise if it was a mediocre shitcoin, the moment it'd hit the exchanges it'd be slaughter! The price would fall without anyone willing to buy your tokens.
Personally though, I'd never invest in a coin I don't believe in. I might mine some profitable coins even if I don't believe in them, but I sell them withing 48 hours.

ARKACES team has completed another important milestone, 2 WAY TRANSFERS between ARK and ETH are now possible! This is also a great news for future ARK bridgechains.

How is the price of Ark lower than Lisk despite doing a lot more than them, the team worked really hard and release lots of update. While Lisk is just a hype coin with less developpement. I remember the price of Ark used to be equal to the price of Lisk but now Lisk is nearly 10 times more expensive than Ark.
I hope that people will see the potential of Ark soon, let's hope than Ark core v2 will bring us to the top spot on coinmarketcap.
Ain't you happy it's underpriced? ^^
I can think of a few reasons that's happening though,
  • Lisk came before ARK, people tend to cling to whatever has launched first and disregard what launches after.
  • Lisk is listed in more exchanges.
  • I don't know how much money has Lisk put for marketing, but ARK has put very little, so it's most likely behind on that front (which is good imho).
2094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: February 21, 2018, 11:11:31 PM
Some impatient people are selling their rare BCOs for a price that does not reflect all of Bridgecoin's potential, what will they do when ETH tokens are added to DEX, bringing more liquidity? It's rare for an exchange to make 1 million dollars a day, being new, using the platform bitshares as a base and still without the most known projects!

Yup, I'm getting more, not dumping, especially during this alt bear market!

Agree with both of these post, bridgecoin has alot of potential going forward, especially when bigger market cap coins are added.

I wish people would wake up and start using it more though, there are some coins im invested in where the wallets are disabled on cryptopia but they still wont trade on CB for some reason.... Huh

i dont get it why are people so afraid of a DEX, its a tiny learning curve..

I agree more people should be using CB as DEX is the way of the future and now couldn't be a better time to start using it and get familiar with it. I've been scooping up as many BCO as I can get my hands on as people seem to be dumping their coins. I'm almost at my next target to start another staking term and this time I'll be going for a 12 month term.
DEX might be the way but I don't understand why crypto-bridge is a DEX. If I don't hold the private key of my wallets, then that's not decentralized in my book.
Plus, from what I understand is you don't even own the BTC you get there, instead you own a bridge.BTC
I might be wrong on the above points though, feel free to correct me.

You'd think that the most asked job in the cryptocurrency world would be the Software Developer.... NOPE! It's the Designer and the 2nd place goes to Marketing.
Another day, another new design of a copy-paste coin from a new account.

2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: February 21, 2018, 01:44:34 PM
i think that we can talk about investors only for coins or tokens with an ico. An ico in which some devs or people ask for money, an ico where there is a program, a whitepaper with deadlines.

Or maybe not even in that case? What do you think about?
I think that we should ignore people who are just using their accounts for signature campaigns, i.e., people who are just writing random stuff to get the bounty...

I'm glad I was not verified even 2,5 months after my registration!!
I was thinking about using them alongside KRAKEN and maybe try their credit card thing but I decided not to since they're unable to even verify an account. Now I've read this post too and... wow! No words.

PS: That's a bit old thread but I believe it won't hurt to bring it in the front, the oppossite most likely!

I've entered different wallets - mining and devfee, to see mounthly difference
But all hashrate is gone do devfee wallet
Yep, that's how it's supposed to works.
The console message says "Ethereum Mining detected to another wallet that you entered", so every share will be forwarded to the wallet you've specified in this tool.
