2081  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the lowest ebb for Bitcoins? on: September 19, 2014, 04:02:30 PM
Well we are going up but this is the point where weak hands get killed off.
The panic and fear threads are no joke which is a good sign for bulls. The more blood the better.
When this is over we will open a can of new investors (Fresh money, good entry point)  Grin

So I think that this might not yet be over....

2082  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: September 19, 2014, 09:46:45 AM

A lucky few already got their 3200 Euro bitcoins on BTC-e recently Wink

Some might even have opened their short order on 3200 EUR Cheesy
2085  Economy / Speculation / Re: losing fait on: September 19, 2014, 07:54:03 AM
Bad publicity is publicity too  Cool

This crash will eventually flatten out, and the world will be watching, and getting in since it's a good investing opputunity.... B00M M00n. ... I hope Cheesy
2086  Economy / Speculation / Re: IMO BTC will continue to drop until.. on: September 19, 2014, 07:52:19 AM
you are right.
no paper money has ever survived in history, its a 100% failure rate.

usually when paper currencies failed gold took over, but today when trade is international its not practical to constantly move gold around.

bitcoin solves this problem, and that's why its the opportunity of a lifetime.

When did the US dollar completely fail? It's still here.

August 1971

Wasn't that when Nixon said: "We must stand up against the tirany called poverty!!. F00k the world, f00k gold price, Print dem billz and press dem coinz!!! We is all rich!!!"

After that they figured out what inflation was Cheesy
2087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price cannot fall infinitely on: September 19, 2014, 07:46:33 AM
Listen. Some miners are fucked. They bought un returnable, unsellable rigs, they rent storage space. They have absolutely no choice whatsoever but to sell their coins. They're run by businessmen who made a mistake. Not 16 year old boys who suck off satoshi and have wet dreams about the Fed burning down. Not spartans who hodl. This is how the game is. Some miners buy their chips for 1/10th of what you and I would have to pay. Some countries are cold and have cheap electricity. Saying a bitcoin costs $400 to make is naive. Saying this is a good price is retarded. Ontop of that you have tons of factors. Miners will sell because they have no choice. They have to pay their shit using fiat. Some of you guys are so dumb.

Unless having a Solar farm high in the Siberian mountains for mining. Then after initial investment free coins Cheesy
2088  Economy / Speculation / Re: You will HODL until?...... on: September 18, 2014, 09:49:23 PM
I cant find the answer $1M
2089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you deserve a $2,000 bitcoin? on: September 18, 2014, 11:42:54 AM
This bear market is cleaning up the excess greed that was prevalent earlier this year. That is what bear markets are for, to slap some sense back into people.

I do agree with this post. Sometimes I do think about making bear statements just to get bitcoin rid of the weak hands quicker  Tongue
2090  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in the "Near" Future on: September 18, 2014, 11:21:11 AM
Just for fun 32k on December 2015 Cheesy
2091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you deserve a $2,000 bitcoin? on: September 18, 2014, 11:12:30 AM
Greed is a natural part of being human.
2092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did bitcoin failed? on: September 18, 2014, 07:58:13 AM
Well bitcoin today is not in a good place but its not dead as you say. It will come back for sure. Everyone is believing in that
Yeh! It will be back @ 266USD No Time!

Probably the bottom will be higher, somewhere around $350.

Unfortunately since we're going below $450 I believe the bottom could well be $100.
Bitcoin will return from the dead but weak hands must be killed first Smiley
2093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is dead on: September 18, 2014, 07:56:28 AM
falllling is an ass but even ass-halves can have some truth to them unfortunately.
Yes bitcoin is going down at the moment but to say it will go to hell and has no value  Huh

If bitcoin has no value why are you spending your time here? Huh
2094  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your emotional state at the moment? on: September 17, 2014, 08:22:01 PM
Looking at the poll most stand firm with their belief in Bitcoin.
And true that Bitcoin fundementals stand strong...

Could this be an ETF entry tactic? Dump and bubble and then open the ETF to public to start off the ETF with a grand opening?  Grin
2095  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your emotional state at the moment? on: September 17, 2014, 07:12:45 PM
Calm, but I predict 300s, then steady rise, no bubble, to 1k again over the next 8mo.

I'm thinking similarly. I am aiming to reenter in the $300-360 range, with bids weighted towards bottom. If it looks to V bottom, I'll market buy in whatever didn't get hit. I think we should rally nicely off there, but I agree, no bubble.

Anything is possible. Why no bubble when all of bitcoins preceding history is one of repeated bubbles and bursts?

The usual answer is, if you expect a bubble it will not come.
I myself am hoping for a bubble Smiley
2096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last hour I bought 50 BTC. on: September 17, 2014, 07:08:53 PM

2097  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your emotional state at the moment? on: September 17, 2014, 07:02:20 PM
I couldn't really vote one of those options.

I am simply serene.  My time horizon on bitcoin investment is long-term.  I have calculated what I believe will be a reasonable value for BTC in 2020.  All the market is doing is telling us the price today, right now.  If that price seems like a bargain, I buy more.

I'm not over-invested.  I don't care if the price drops to $20 or $2, as long as I see increasing adoption, transactions, and supporting infrastructure (lots of VC dollars, for example), I truly, honestly do not care about the price, other than as a measuring stick for a buying opportunity.

OK that would make you optimistic on long term and a HODLer.
True my options are more short term based.
2098  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your emotional state at the moment? on: September 17, 2014, 07:00:35 PM
Maybe there is no  rebound due to fiat trying to enter exchanges Smiley

Hello everyone,

Since BTC is making yet another dump I was interrested in your emotional state.
I'm interrested in the weak and strong hands within Bitcointalk.

I myself am hopeful but am prepared to loose it all.

I can understand people pulling out money in fear, and I can also see people buying into this oppurtunity.

Current situation is a hard place to be.

The poll alows vote changing so you can adjust if your emotional state changes.
