The Doge crowd will outnumber anyone, luckily they can't outgun NXT, and that exchange will eventually add NXT anyway ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Thanks a lot!
you withdrew 651 nxt from bter and sent it to another address thats making alot of strange transactions.. its not an exchange.. just looks fishy? your account is secured with an ingoing tx and outgoing aswell so its activated already haha, the more NXTs in the account, the more it's activated ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

It's impossible to have a CPU-only algo. Whatever a CPU can do, a GPU at one point or another will be able to do better.
How did Quark and Securecoin manage it? They were marketed as CPU-only coins.
Qubit is for CPU's
Really? I had an idea GPUs still have a big advantage to CPUs in skein, groestl and qubit from what some miners said here. I didn't compare performance myself, I don't have a GPU.
...its really a coin for everyone.
I can't quite agree here, if you mean the mining aspect. One CPU-only algo would really make it for everyone. A lot of people only have a built-in low-end graphics card (low-end office PCs/laptops), that hardware can't compete with mid- and high-end GPUs, which work great more or less for 3 out of the 5 algos. 2 algos for ASICs, 3 algos for GPUs, none for CPU, that sucks. Meaning, you still have to invest in hardware to mine it, meaning if people invest in hardware, they mine what's most profitable for them to recoup their costs, as this turns into a business for them, not a hobby. Now, if there was 1 CPU algo, people would just mine it as a hobby, on their regular low-end PCs or servers/clouds, which can be idle most of the time, and why not utilize those idle CPU cycles. And if a lot of people had that coin mined as a hobby, that would mean greater adoption and recognition, that's the point. As it is now, it's mined by the same miners who mine everything else for profit and dumped at exchanges. Can devs change one algo into a CPU-only, or possibly add a 6th CPU-only algo and hard fork the coin? I am sure this single hard fork would mean a lot to the survival and prosperity of this coin.

BTER.com DGEX.com btc38.com One more - any suggestions? Or reasons not to include any of the above?
The first 2 only, the third one just started with NXT, it's not proven to be reliable yet, specifically for NXT it may have deposit/withdrawal issues, and it takes time to prove it functions ok. Be sure to underline that DGEX features manual withdrawals so people don't freak out if they don't receive them immediately.

watcha thinking about it?
Bullish.

Da fuck is going on? What attack. My NXT better be safe. Can someone explain in non technical terms how this attack effects NXT?
Long story short, stay away from clones of NXT, and only use the original NXT. It has plenty of room to grow, there is no reason to be extra greedy trying clones, they will always suck, especially if you use the same pass.
This should be a zero-sum game. The NXT had to be bought before.
Well, yes and no. If original stakeholders buy those AE tokens, it's not like they had to buy NXTs at market price first.
It is actually a weird thing overall. When real firms start using the AE for IPOs and their business in only in Fiat, they kinda hope that the NXT/FIAT price crashes, otherwise their stockprice will always suffer, even if they do good. This will be quite the barrier until price stabilizes!
These firms actually help facilitate the price not go up very quickly by selling off NXTs they raised to fund their operations.

Anyone could sum up to me the recent prise rise's reasons? Something new happened recently?
Just a perfect storm brewing. And it was a first gush of wind, nothing particularly interesting, same old, like any perfect storm ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

How else does one destroy NXT?
By finding a fatal bug in the code, of course ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Because the code is only 6 months old, it's still possible.

NXT has an advantage for wider adoption in that it hasn't received years of negative press that have formed bad image in the eyes of the public. Some people won't touch Bitcoin with a ten-foot pole now that the media performed their agenda. And here comes multi-featured NXT, all shiny and bright, with no negative stigma around it. Just like Dogecoin, by the way ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

thanks for that...however BTC can be divided into 100million units. If you multiply that by the entire supply it comes out to something like a quadrillion coins. or satoshis or w.e. so youre telling me there isn't enough BTC for retail? Not to mention a NXT coin cant be subdivided as far as I know
NXT can be subdivided since 1 month ago or so, same as Bitcoin. It's just that Bitcoin looks so outdated after NXT, you won't want to use it. It's like telegraph when you have email. Just try it, and the Asset Exchange. Devs are working on other features too. Bitcoin's devs won't add any other features, Bitcoin is just a money transfer mechanism, that's all and that ain't cool ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The more features and functions - the more business use cases, the wider the adoption. As simple as that.
