2101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC really anonymous? on: November 13, 2017, 09:50:49 AM
Actually in your initial example...

It means that exchanging btc for another currency may oblige you to show in person.

This rather means that currencies other than btc are not anonymous, isn't it?  Roll Eyes

And in fact there are dedicated websites that allow you to exchange btc for other currency without showing up in person. "You" remain a wallet, a succession of caracters and numbers. Not so personal, is it?
2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best investment coins? on: November 11, 2017, 04:02:26 PM
As usual there is no secret for that. Just go to Ethereum and Litecoin, maybe a bit of monero yeah and a good load of bitcoin cash also I'd say. It's surprising how bitcoin cash seems to be slowly taking over btc right now. Of course I'm not saying bitcoin cash is going to really takes the place of king btc but you have to admit it's worth quite a lot!

So diversify your investments and take few of the best coins Wink
2103  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Bitcoin Casino | Plinko, Mines, Blackjack, Roulette + 8 more 👽 on: November 10, 2017, 08:33:00 PM
Whaou guys... I have to say you clearly raised up to a new level here...

I tip my hat to you sir, the site is really both modern and beautiful. The work on the design is purely awesome.
I'm a little disapointed on the games though. Extremely classical, nothing brand new or a bit complex. I mean why not a head/tail games while you were at it? xD
But the work on design is awesome and the global provably fair feature is great!
2104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: November 10, 2017, 08:02:05 PM
I used to play dice because i thought i could make profit, stable profit from it, obviously i was wrong, you can't win in the long term, that was my only purpose of playing dice, other than that i do not find it fun or entertaining unless im winning money, i would not play dice if money was not involved, so my question is, why people still play? Im sure 90% of people know what your odds are and that strategies don't work, what is their purpose? Do you guys really have fun playing dice? Watching a number appear on the screen?

If you thought at a point or another that you could make stable money from dice you're an idiot.
Dice is a casino game, like all casino games it means the house MUST win in the end. Otherwise the game has no sense at all.
In dice you just have to see that when you want to double your bet you get less than half a chance to win. So obviously on the long run you can't win.

People like dice cause it's thrilling, because you never know what will happen, what you will get and because you know you can multiply your bet by 10 just with one click...
2105  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen Sports ⚽ SCORE 0.05 BTC Free Bet 🏆 WORLD CUP ⚽ The Future of Betting on: November 10, 2017, 07:39:06 PM
Hello Nitrogen!

I see on your title "0.05 BTC Free bet".
Of course I'm interested, free bets are always cool. But when I login on the site I don't see anything about it. There is no news on the home page.
Is it only for new accounts? Or is anyone eligible and if yes how can I get more informations on it?

Thanks!!!

Hello friends,

I created script for auto spin
http://satoshibox.com/zhvwapbg5vpgbvbbvpdugbjz
Easy to use it.

Mining spins.. use script and win.

I have 80% balance to withdraw.. (don't know scam this site or not)

80% balance to withdraw? You mean you won 80% of your initial balance?
Well congratz, you will never be able to withdraw it.

This site is complete bullshit and there is no way you earn anything legit. Don't spend your coins on pure scam like this...
2107  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Amazon Integrate Bitcoin? on: November 09, 2017, 05:36:50 PM
I am convinced that for Amazon, attracting bitcoin users is a potential gold mine. However, for the moment it is completely impossible for them to use such currency as bitcoin is either illegal or simply ignored by most governments.

Amazon, even though they do not have much trouble to play with taxes and working conditions, using their international network, still must abide by the law everywhere it pursues transactions.

Therefore, time is not right at the moment for them to go into bitcoin. But sure, they are looking for a way to make profit with it!
2108  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think we need reservation bank in every country for bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 05:14:48 PM
I do not understand,  how would you "store" bitcoin? It is not something tangible...

I agree, more people involved with bitcoin could broaden opportunities and business models. Yet, this cannot go through traditionnal banking. And, again, what do you mean?

What could be a great idea, though, would be to create a concrete international bitcoin network... Maybe with the development of ATM? Or shops accepting btc payments?

Clearly, I do not have any idea of how to do that, but I agree with you, the more people get involved, the better!
2109  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold : manipulation through derivatives on: November 09, 2017, 04:47:16 PM
We cannot create gold as we create bitcoin. It is right to say that huge institutions have played at will with gold and its rate. But this cannot be possible for bitcoin, due to the blockchain.

Gold is a material, tangible thing. Bitcoin is not.

And actually, even though giving more control over bitcoin to financial institutions could be problematic, we are quite far from such situation.

Bitcoin is rather seen as "the future" for now! Tongue
2110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM locations on a rapid increase... wow on: November 09, 2017, 02:18:44 PM
It is actually great if the number of btc ATM is increasng... yet I guess, it is not the same everywhere...
Would be great, though, to have a system both easy and accessible to transform btc in money... And when I say so, of course I mean without incredible taxes or unfavourable rates...

ONe day, maybe...
2111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it good time to buy. on: November 09, 2017, 01:53:38 PM
I personnally would advise you to wait. Now is not the good time if you consider the rates.

However, my advice may just be bad if the price rises.

It is impossible to be sure that you buy at the good moment. You should look at the rate, observe the fluctuation for some time and then you will get an idea of the "good moment".

It is rather a bet anyway!  Wink

Unfortunately, I've received word to pause this signature campaign for now. Not sure how long this will be paused for, I will update with that info. Everyone can remove sigs and when this is unpaused, the current participants will all be allowed back. Once again, I apologize for this decision.

EDIT- I've been told this will likely be re opened in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the info Atriz. I'm looking forward to continuing this campaign.

Payments received!
2116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 06, 2017, 05:21:19 PM
So, I have talked a little bit more with Coinomi about the upcoming fork to clear things up.
Here's what I have so far.

They will support both chains after the fork.
Bitcoin will still be called bitcoin and still be on the legacy chain.
They will  implement replay protection for SW2X on their wallets.
You will be able to claim your SW2x coins.

Sounds good to me, I will keep my coins there during the fork.

Thanks for the tips man!

You have any idea about the possible precautions that should be taken in order to get the new coins too?
Will it be something automatical? I know I was really angry to have lost my new shiny coins after last fork simply because I didn't respect the process for my electrum wallet... That's really a shame to know you've lost 10% of easy money like that Cry
2117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to cash out of bitcoin at once? on: November 06, 2017, 04:24:38 PM
OK, so I've only been invested for two weeks, but I was looking into how to sell (once I become a gazillionaire) and there's not a whole lot of info out there.  Suppose you get to $1,000,000 plus and just want to cash out.  It looks like coinbase only let's you sell $10,000 per week?  Or maybe transfer $10,000 in cash back to bank?  Kind of fuzzy there.  At any rate, that would take 2 years to get your million bucks out.  Could that really be true?  If so, why?  And are there other places that would let you cash out all at once?  It seems that if this thing goes the way people think it will, that this actually could be an issue.

For what I know there is a very simple solution:
Use Poloniex. It's not like I specially love the plateform but once you get to maximum level of verification you have no limit for bank withdrawal. So you just send your btc here, sell them for $ and then voilą!
But of course you have to trust a trading platform...
So if I were you I would do it by medium amounts like 20k$ :p
2118  Economy / Economics / Re: If the powerful governments wanted to, do you think they could stop Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2017, 02:52:41 PM
Well, they can buy down 21 million BTC and keep all of them to themselves, essentially 'killing' Bitcoin.

I would love that SO MUCH
Fact is that if they tried ( I mean at current price 21 million BTC is just 100billions, that's a budget tons of states could afford) they could probably buy... I don't know but 10 millions? Something like that? If they tried to hold it btc would instantly take +500% value!

To be honest that could be a smart move from a state... Getting a bunch of btc would be both a security for future and a rather good investment if they want to go back to fiat.
2119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 06, 2017, 02:04:45 PM
To come back to economic speculation, I'll drop this here :
http://alt-market.com/articles/3310-the-economic-end-game-continues

I... Don't really see the point of your article...
That's just a random guy saying btc is the future global currency right? No shit Sherlock xD

That's more or less why btc was created, global and decentralized.
But that doesn't change the fact that this fucking prize raise has a bit of a bubble too. I see people knowing nothing about coins talking about it now. You hear random persons in the subway talking about BTC and how the price is incredible and how they're going to invest in it and how it's the future...
Not that I don't like it but there is a huge FOMO here I bet. A correction is going to hit hard.

(Well of course that can be a correction that take the price back to 15k after it hit 20k, which would be an incredible correction buuuuuuuuuut I wouldn't care ^^)
2120  Economy / Gambling / Re: Earn 0.012BTC in 3 days on: November 06, 2017, 01:21:50 PM
Have anybody trying this out. And if yes kindly share your experience and let us know the result if it really happens. Let us know the status for the benefit of others.

There is no need to give back any experience on that.
That's easy that's just faucets! But think about it:
3 days at 7 hours means 21 hours of work
0.012BTC for 21 hours means more or less half a milibitcoin per hour
That's about... 4$ an hour? Something like that. Can't says that's a huge rate for work unless you leave in extremely poor countries
