So, I've recently found out that Nexo's offices in Bulgaria were raided, but I don't really understand the reasoning behind it, which is alleged money laundering.
Police wouldnt arrest someone or anyone without any warranty or evidence of a crime. That means they are guilty, there is no reasoning with that as they are arrested for a reason. Now the lawyers of Nexo would handle that. This kind of news can be fake or what but if it did happened and it did not sounded on the crypto community then they are hiding this fast fact about the incident. With what happened with FTX, surely many centralized platform are beunf monitored at the moment.

Yes media always do irresponsible reporting of news. Sometime they even exxagerated the topic which changes the general content of the newa on which if arrive on other or from others perspective its totally different outcome already which ruined or flagged the truth. News must be credible so always pick your source, especially when it comes to crypto since there are lota of fuds and shills happening over the internet.

I have always used ‘Coin Portfolio’ which was OK however it has not been working today and think I need to find a better app to track my portfolio.
Just wondering what everyone uses?
Ideally free app would be best but I wouldn’t mind paying if it was worth it.
For me the best tracker is coingecko app. Im not sure though if its work on Apple but possibly it does. There are plenty of assets listed right away even newest projects and they usually update the volume when there is a new market that needs to average its price and market cap.

FTX, Celsius, Voyager, and soon Luna ( probably )... all making ridiculous gains in this BTC rally. Meanwhile some coins with good fundamentals and strong utility ( like Chainlink ) are doing poorly... ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) C'mon... These projects are probably hanging by a thread. Means there is a solid play in terms of trading since whales or other retailers might think that there are something going on and these might do a solid pump. But if you reviewed their financial standing, youll see that there are no special things been cooking. So be careful not to be caught in these pump and dump scheme.

For those that have invested this year, they would have seen by now why bitcoin is profitable and no further lesson is expected than having the experience by themselves, this is just a little stir and the major isn't yet occuring, wait till the bullrun begins and hodl, this is the major targets investors has with bitcoin.
Its not only this year. How about those earlier, probably they are still grateful on bitcoin despite of its low price right now. I think that OP is overwhelmed with the gains he made. Its not again, about the age but the ability to invest in such coins without budging. I do hope the market continue to recover and ease the pain of some of our retailers.

The commonly usage for that are eth/matic/bsc/sol. But it doesnt mean that there will be a perfect case for that. We all knew that evem the toughest projects has been turn down instantly by such incidents. In terms of technical these blockchain can be trusted. Its the project goal to succeed and and preserve security for their stablecoin.

Certainly some whales are pushing the news of that $5Billion recovery of ftx as a factor for a market uproar but honestly we knew that amount is not enough to recover its position just like that. There are plenty of funds need to acquire to bring back everything and Sam knew it would be not that easy. Retailers are just simply trying to ride this pump as could be a good profits for them and the whales are simply just trying to make a volatility out of this.

Cryptocurrency just like every contemporary innovation is vast and encompassing. This practically poses a challenge for begjnners. Furthermore, choosing which aspect of crypto to venture into - trading, mining, investing in ICO and others - is a herculean task considering the various degrees of risks associated with each of them.
What is your recommendation for a beginner?
For beginner with money maybe trading is a good choice. Also mining is best if his conservative of losses on trades. The only thing is it has some equipment needed and some factor to consider like bills on electricity and prices of those equipment, and the rate on which the mining can be profitable. You can compute that if you are already running a rig. Also ICO investment is good but its not easy to access it unless you have connection to join some seed sale or private sales.

Solana is once again a top ten coin, I am starting to feel like I will regret not buying solana and hold for a long time because if this project survive it will bring the highest ROI in the list of top coins on coinmarketcap, the present value is even looking good, what is your take on Solana? Are you a believer or you think it won't do well for long.
Of course everyone would be entice with its current price since sol skyrocketed a lot during the time of bull run and having this price now will be so good for new players and even traders. The market is so volatile that we dont know if we can see those ATH and surpass it once again but its definitely a good one to think of. I dont have any sol as I like other L1 than sol but my take is that it will be great again if the developer focuses on the network upgrade and not just on hype.

yes sir, that is the problem of airdrop campaigns nowdays. for last few months i have completed almost more than 1500 airdrops and i got nothing there.
1500 is a lot and knowing these are all nothing is really dissapointing. Maybe try to join some with really those are high value projects only. Cause doing airdrop now with easy task is not gonna give you money, unlike before that even filling up a form for an airdrop can give you $500 or more in value.

I think btc halving will have a big effect on market positively however we are far away from it yet. Surely people will love to accumulate funds now and continue to do dca. We cant be positive yet with all the heavy fud coming to centralized market and until this issue died out we cant move forward without huge doubt from other retailers and even institutions. But I believe it will be just temporary and will go back to the trendy hype like last bull run.

As we will most likely continue to see bear market for this year, what are you stacking up on and why? I would love to know so I can see what people are interested and there reasoning for it. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Im stacking up on bitcoin and some few altcoins such as avalanche, fantom and this new evm evmos. I love staking and farming and I am keep staking on those projects. On fantom there are good farming projects like spiritswap with tons of pairing and even rewards for voting. Evmos has a good daily rewards and avalanche a normal L1 with a lot of improvements such as subnets. There are other choices but it will depend on what you like.

Ive been into airdrops before and bounty campaign. I could say is before only few are joining the airdrops unlike now that dozens of people are lining up to join it which reduces the reward significantly. Also the value of airdrop before somehow considerable and huge but now its different too. Maybe not enough for a gas usage when you try to sell.
Also some projects are linked with scammers and only trying to use participants as a tool for marketing to execute a huge scheme.

Hello all,
I would like to know if some of you are making P2P trading ? and if yes if you know some banks to do the P2P trading. IT appears that most of them would block you after you receive too much monney transfer from unknown person on your bank account. thank you all
Not all are scammers. Where is your place mate? If you arent have much close person to deal off then use some third party trusted p2p site like Binance id they did supported your country. They offer as mediator or escrow for the transaction and make sure youll get your money or else theyll hold the seller tokens as collateral if they plan to scam someone.

Not different with a non blue chip nft except that its branded as secure or legit. However, regardless whether its good, the nft market is highly saturated now and you can see a lot of projects go down. Maybe before its really profitable, and even use case sometimes its not that worth at all to hold and only those rich are shilling those expensive jpeg nft for a price raise.

I have currently 800$ worth BNB. These are got from NFT that I sold back months ago that I got from airdrop. So what i need to know should I convert it to stable coin or should I invest it for bitcoin? Because my friends say that BNB don't have a future anymore. So I'm fully worry about this.
Its good taking consideration to buy bitcoin and its not a bad decision considering its the number 1 cryptocurrency and only decentralized project 100%. Also it did come from an airdrop which isnt that hurt much if you get loss. Also its impossible for btc to stay this low in the long run. That opinion by your friend is just a suggestion. He maybe right but for me bnb isnt bad at all especially with the use case and benefits on their platform.

Despite that I'm new and i haven't earn merit, but i believe with research and time i will earn merit, i will be happiest person the day i will earn a merit.
Yes you are right. In time youll earn your first merit but with lots of research first. Maybe avoid talking about it for the meantime and talk other topic related to bitcoin or crypto. Some newbies are focusing on that thats why some got an idea that you are after merits, so I suggest you leave this for a while and research on other things. Good luck on your journey.

The best reasoning I ever read for 2023. To please your wife, I think its only you who could do that. Just explain that you are focusing on learning here but thats not an excuse to be so busy. Hanging around here doesnt mean you are 24/7 on your laptop/phone reading all threads. Should I quit chatting regularly online to please my wife or to ignore her and the peace of my home to continue gaining knowledge here?? Things are getting serious and soon getting out of hand
Kinda feels your torn between a gold and an apple. You should really do some time management, and this is not even a choice to ask for.

Thanks for the tips. I think for simple desktop users these virus is really not good and can really deceived them. Not all are proficient to execute those of you suggested to avoid this kind of malicious files. So the safest way is always check what you download online cause with a simple site, it could ruin your asset once he able to set up those click baits.
