1121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A "60 billion dollar" question! You don't want to miss out of the replies! on: August 05, 2023, 11:13:31 AM
I've heard a lot about the potential of Bitcoin as a store of value. Can someone explain how its scarcity and decentralized nature contribute to its value proposition?
Ive been interested in the title I thought of something exciting or something new project or innovation that is a worth billion $. But anyways, a lot of factors could lead to its value and not just the decentralized system but also it has history of many things in the past that makes it valuable today and could be more in the future. One thing is for sure though, adoption of bitcoin will expand more and more as people realizing how good blockchain in terms of store of value.
1122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Responsibilities of hierarchy in the forum on: August 04, 2023, 10:59:53 AM
If the links you are talking about are those malicious or scam one being shared here. Of course the one to blame are those who shared it regardless of the rank. There are some high ranks that do that and even newbies so no one can be spare with that since forum didnt allow those kind of activity here.

But there are people who will definitely reported that to moderators to avoid and turn down the post.
1123  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some of my Favourite Personal Texts of Bitcointalk Members on: August 04, 2023, 10:20:34 AM
Regarding personal text. Is a referral code base link can be allowed to put there?
You can include a link within the character limit but personal text is not designed to be clickable. If you include a link there it will appear as a plain text, which the user will have to copy and paste into a browser.
Oh I see. My bad, I think what Im asking, is about the email and the website link browser. But does this have any violation on forum rule in case Ive input it? But the website link will be viewed when someone click on my profile and view the email dialogue box.
1124  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some of my Favourite Personal Texts of Bitcointalk Members on: August 04, 2023, 08:39:25 AM
Regarding personal text. Is a referral code base link can be allowed to put there? Example arkham airdrop link then will hyperlink it to the text. Or does someone doing this? Would this be allowed since posting on threads as far as I know is prohibited and considered as spam messages.

Ive asked this cause Ive joined some referral projects too that are worth noticing and wanted to invite some but since referral isnt allowed might thinking if this method would be okay?
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: De-Fi Regulation on: August 03, 2023, 03:05:34 PM
With the way "De-Fi" was designed, I hardly doubt the US government will be able to succeed in its efforts to regulate it for good. But knowing that they did sanction a decentralized mixing software like Tornado.Cash, tells me that we should not underestimate the government.
Government would likely less trust defi due to its nature. We can say its work like traditional banking finance but with the help of blockchain this could be done on their own as the platform served as your easy to go access while banks used personnel to do it for you while this one gives you the freedom to manage it well and monitor it anytime. But the exploit and breach is inevitable since codes might give ulterior problems when a hacker crack some flaws.

Women power. Ive only noticed very few of the ladies doing forum and engaging here but its quite amazing to see that they are now increasing. Also dont forget to contribute on different threads and share your knowledge as well in the forum. Keep up the good work and surely you can even reach legendary in no time.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Launchpool offers double project Sei and Cyberconnect on: August 03, 2023, 09:34:48 AM
Anyone farming already whats your expectation. Its hard to farm a lot. Like my cyber pool isnt moving and its really far from mining at least 1 cyber. Considering the launch price that could do x5 to x10 with the initial token salw of $1.8 each tokens. Possibly if you can farm like 10 to 20 tokens already good profit. So those who will received airdrop are totally lucky since its quite hard to gain a lot on launchpool.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the best Altcoin for this moment to accumulate right now? on: August 02, 2023, 09:27:07 PM
I want to find a good Altcoin to invest in before the bull starts, also have a non-custodial exchange. This means, that we have complete control over our funds. If there is, please help convey it, because a lots of new altcoins was born every day.
With the lsdefi trend. I think the most coin that good is ethereum as there are plenty of lsd platform that benefited on ethereum staking. Also theres chance for some airdrops from remarkable defi project by boosting on their tvl. Well if you are into defi then eth is the best you could utilize while holding. But there are many projects that have potential in my opinion that could make x10 or more in the coming bull run.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment? on: August 02, 2023, 08:33:51 PM
this year has been quite turbulent for some altcoins, especially exchange tokens. I've invested in a few and performance-wise, only a handful of them have shown decent growth throughout the year. How about you? Do you have any exchange tokens in your holdings, and what are your thoughts on their market performance this year? Let's discuss our experiences and perspectives on how these tokens have been faring in this volatile market.
I am holding bnb exchange tokens. For now I could say they are worth to hold while in the midst of the bear market as they launch many project tokens on their launchpool and launchpad which tive edge to bnb users to claim and farm more. These tokens are new projects that might do a little good in the upcoming bull run so why not claim some of it rigt.
1130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are getting innovative. on: August 02, 2023, 12:20:25 PM
Regarding a sudden post on official discord its better to confirm that on other social media or at least noted or posted on their website. Cause there were a lot of cases in the discord that they pinned post an airdrop link that is quite suspicious that when you check their other socials there is no details about it. Means posisbly it got compromise. You need to be careful and check first if the announcement made is totally from the team and not a hacker who take over the group discord.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Launchpool offers double project Sei and Cyberconnect on: August 02, 2023, 10:09:45 AM
Sei also got a teaser tweet along with atom/fosmos stakers last year so there are many criteria where those airdropa will be. But probably testers are one of it. Im staking atom so Im hoping they'll beg giving some nice rewards also for cosmos ecosystem.

But now its a wild farming happening on binance. Feel free to stake your bnb and earn free sei tokens.

I suggest that use binance earn vault to both farm cyber and sei tokens. But if you want to focus on one token then use the launchpool section.
1132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Happy to reach 50 merit on: August 02, 2023, 08:54:16 AM
Some might think earning merits is hard or easy cause thats depend on the user engagement. Some users were so witty and very productive that they can even earn merits daily and some are getting longer to receive even 1. Why is that so? Possibly due to users uniqueness some really are very good poster and integrated a lot of sense in a conversation while others are low class post.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Launchpool offers double project Sei and Cyberconnect on: August 01, 2023, 01:43:30 PM
I have check menu for joining with kinds of Launchpool but seems not find yet for participating. Here my all menu in Binance account and try with direct link but not find with project Sei and Cyberconnect.
Hey mate they arent showing up yet since the time is august 02 just check the timezone which they put it.

Based on your opinion OP, what do you think both project Sei and Cyberconnect launchpool will worth and give the same allocated because last launchpad hold more than 30 BNB earn small reward without deduction fund under 0.01%.
Cant really knew the potential value mate since it will be depend on the farmers budget or staking during launchpool. Maybe try to get in early to be able to join and farm earlier.
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Binance Launchpool offers double project Sei and Cyberconnect on: August 01, 2023, 08:39:20 AM
Early today Binance announced their dual launchpool for projects of sei and cyberconnect. This is unusual to do same project at once. So we see a slight massive pumo for bnb. These are good to farm some new project tokens. Especially if there is an airdrop for both project. Anyone who lucky here join those drops from projects?

1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Advise People To Stake? on: July 31, 2023, 06:42:44 PM
I like such staking, but I don't understand those stakers who buy coins of already released projects that have grown many times and try to steak them while these coins are in a bearish cycle. In such a case, the income from staking does not even cover the losses that the coin makes due to its decreasing value.
If they bought in bear market and then staked it. In the long run they can feel the gains of it especiallt if the one you bought is like - 90% down from its ATH. Im talkung about renounced project with a tendency to bounce back when bull market started again. Its a risk too but considering some % gain of them comparing to stablecoin which is quite below the inflation rate then its much more a chance to recover. Anyway I got your point about the potential decrease of value apparently, thats more better of staking than holding without gaining anything but hope when will it be going back to same value. Unlike while staking its technically holding while earning some and its helping you increase your asset bags.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Really Burn helps Token in positive way? on: July 31, 2023, 02:17:04 PM
For example, Shiba Inu is burning tokens aggressively and is it really helping them?

May be i am noob here and happy to hear from experts!

I believe this topic will be useful for someone too!
Sometimes its psychological in my opinion. People thinks that when supply become shorts its become valuable. But in the essence of law of supply and demand thats true. But it depends on the tokenomics of the project. Apparently it could be a bluff but others work on it like literally pumping when there is a news.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worldcoin launch with ORB to scan your eyes on: July 31, 2023, 01:52:43 PM
How did Worldcoin raise their first seed capital? I know that they have been around for a while now, so why the hype now? What changed?
As far as I know they are backed by big VCs so this kind of launching isnt hard for them. With the inception of government harassing crypto projects fue to their nature of tokenomics and use case. One like this that involve kyc are surely will pass their level of requirement.

Im not sure how this will impact on industry but definitely worth a headline for everyone. Their marketcap based on tokenomics still at mid range so if ever this will do good in bull run.
1138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is your DCA solution? on: July 31, 2023, 01:18:52 PM
I think with the budget you try to buy everytime youll spend on fees. I think extend your period of doing dca like instead of weekly do it monthly so you could have a bigger budget and to reduce your gas consumption.

But since you are using exchange I think the fees isnt that high I think binance have low fees or sometimes free transaction fees if they have promo.
1139  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens if all forum users exhaust their Smerits? on: July 30, 2023, 01:53:31 PM
If there are no merit resources then this could be possible in the long end of forum but thats gonna be impossible when a lot of merits can be distributed by merit sources in each day, week and months. I could run out of smerits but Im sure one day someone would give me back merits again to gain it. If its work like a token and coin with limited supply and with that burning ratio of 50% deducted per 1 merit then a shortage is possible and merits will be hard to earn and to give due to that.
1140  Economy / Reputation / Re: I'm 10! on: July 30, 2023, 01:19:12 PM
Thats a crazy experience. What amazing it is is you are only 14 years old when you created your account anf thats one thing many of us would probably think off during that age. Im quite upset cause at that age probably my mind was only play time and all about friends and lousy things to do like playing cimputer and didnt bother thinking of any idea of the future. But you, its quite an admiration. Congrats for that long being active here.
