more information for electrum :
There is some misleading/wrong info there, I think reading the thread on the Electrum sub-board is way better to learn about Electrum compared to this. Also, you might want to read about seed and private keys to avoid confusion in the future.

It makes me wonder why Tron creates something like this in the first place. Is there any benefit for their users other than being more exposed to scam activities? Kind of a weird thing to develop. Using 2 different wallet for 2 different purpose would be better if they really need to differentiate the use for each one of them.

Don't focus too much on their ROI. Some of these guys are whales who can pump out a token for fun just to get the prize, and don't forget the risk mentioned above. You won't be able to get the "ROI" for this kind of competition if you don't have much capital, just focus on a realistic goal such as 10% profit per month or so.

Holy cow. I wonder if they also sell the selfies to other companies to train their AI. Not saying they did, but assuming I've found some gigs like this in the past, it is not out of the picture. Hopefully, it won't be the trend, if it does happen I won't torture myself for something like this.

This has nothing with dev & tech discussion. Probably move it into the altcoin section or something similar since most of the time you're referring to them when you talk about web 3.0.
It is not as simple as web3 vs blockchain, sometimes event blockchain is claimed to be part of web3.0 itself. Event the definition is sometimes being contested.

The price is a bit wonky these days. I suggest you also wait for the new release of GPU from Nvidia or AMD before you purchase unless your local market price is very good. Make sure to calculate your theoretical profit too before buying any gpu so you won't be faced with unexpected power consumption with little to no profit.

Not donating don't be fool. They made money from hundrends of millions of dollars laundered money from black activities such as sellngs guns, drugs, terrorism etc. This why the can be the highest payng campangns.
And how do you know this? As far as I'm aware they still don't take a fee when somebody mixes on their website, so, is there a hidden site that I'm unaware of?

Does your router/modem not support a data monitoring tool? If it exists maybe you can try to test by running your rig for a few days without using it for anything else to see how much it consumes every day. Just in case you want hard-proof data.

New campaign will begin when this one ends. Most likely an avatar + signature one. For this month it's just an avatar campaign but of cause feel free to also use the signature Thanks for the answer. Looking forward to it. Will wear the signature for now too.

Personally I feel doing p2p is more preferable in this situation so you will get the fiat in your account or in hands so the spending ways are not limited.
I second this. At least in my country gift card value are not that great except for online shopping for overseas products, so I'd rather cash out directly. That being said, I can see how valuable they are if your country's gift card trades are mainstream and you can cash them out easily.

In my local area, some of the miners that I know of decide to switch to ETC, while others will sell some of their equipment and keep some of them for future use. It is fair to say that most of them will likely end up in the secondhand market at a very low price. I'm not sure about Nvidia and AMD pumping ETC, at least with AMD they don't rely too much on mining to sell their cards, they focus more on their consoles. But it is definitely not going to stop some whales or somebody else to make ETC more attractive to mine.

Signature campaign will also be launching very soon. Thanks.
Is it a different campaign from this? Can I apply there when it is open or I can only join one of them (avatar/signature)?

Where I am lacking is the wallet and crypto integration skills and the ability to modify it to add in paid follows, posts, etc.
Maybe try to post this on the service section, but you'll need to pay with bitcoin first, and then talk to them about more collaboration with your equity or whatever it is later. You won't get a good application if it's just an empty promise. Would be better if you disclose some of your mainstream projects such as the news platform you mentioned above to add credibility to your words.

I can count on my hand how many times I joined a good campaign in altcoin bounties. So, it's mostly down to your luck. If possible, I'd rather join a BTC campaign, but if not, I'd bet on a campaign managed by reputable managers. At the very least, your chance of being scammed is lower there.
There is still one or two ongoing campaign but it's very difficult to enter here, so yeah there will be some effort to join the really good one even if it's some altcoin-based campaign.

I think the answer is simple, most people find games valuable (even though it is a form of entertainment) while Bitcoin or crypto is mostly seen as a 'scam', so any narrative that shows Bitcoin is bad will be popular.
Whether the data is reliable or not, I'm pretty sure most people would choose gaming instead of learning about crypto just because they can and are more familiar with it. So that's that.

its around 0.04-0.06 depends where I live but electricity is cheap, plus I wanted to install solar panels just for the rig
Have you calculated the cost of buying solar panels? If I'm not wrong there is a discussion in the past that generally says the solar panel is expensive and is not worth the cost to power your mining rig, since it will need a lot of panels to power one rig while also depending on the weather for the energy. CMIIW.

Have you tried asking your electricity provider about this? If this is temporary I'd stop mining as suggested above, but if the stability is always like this maybe moving your place or changing your provider would be your best solution, albeit overkill just for the purpose of doing some mining. CMIIW.

Even if there is no hidden miner script, anyone should never download from a third-party website like that. Even Google explicitly states there is no desktop version of their translation service. Don't rely too much on antivirus too, most of the time we can just avoid any trouble if we research for a bit.

There is also this one, but I don't know if it is still usable: https://coinmap.org/api/. I think most of these services are running a custom code and don't really want to offer integration for individual users. They target business owner for marketing and stuff like that, so best of luck if you're trying to contact them and ask for a map plugin for your website.
