1261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sentimental analysis explained! on: May 02, 2023, 12:11:35 PM
It is the first time that I have heard of this type of analysis, what gives these analyzes value, in the sense that will I rely on a third party to analyze the data and show it to me as a ratio, and here is closer to the trading signals that proved to be a wrong strategy.
I feel like these 'free' analyses are similar to pump & dump signals, just not as explicit. It is unavoidable since you get somewhat outdated data if you rely on another party to collect and aggregate the market movement for you. It is true that sometimes it works, but a broken clock can also do the same thing if you let it run long enough.

At the end of the day, most indicators can fail for various reasons. I doubt people only use one type of indicator to decide their trade anyway. As long as they know and realize that they can get tricked by self-fulfilling prophecy or being used by big players as exit liquidity, they should be able to filter the information.
1262  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Negara Inggris Minta Data Pengguna Binance on: May 01, 2023, 05:09:52 PM

1263  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Share][Info][Diskusi] Data Pertumbuhan ATM Crypto Dunia on: May 01, 2023, 04:36:30 PM

1264  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: ELECTRUM - BITCOIN WALLET on: May 01, 2023, 03:55:30 PM
1265  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Hardware Wallet on: May 01, 2023, 03:04:28 PM
1266  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] Informasi Phishing, Malware, Virus Dst (WAJIB BACA) on: May 01, 2023, 02:59:04 PM

1267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market Maker Action Analyzer on: April 30, 2023, 03:21:47 PM
Regardless of how legit your service is, I'd stay away from a service that asks me to join a sketchy Telegram group before I can access them. There are many tools out there that can compete with yours, most of the time there is a free option that allows users to test them without giving unnecessary personal information.

You should probably improve and offer other means to access your service if you really want to get customers and not just exit scam after you earn a hundred or a thousand deposit.
1268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: low-cost hardware wallet for less than 10 dollars on: April 30, 2023, 11:51:27 AM
I still prefer Trezor and Ledger instead because you can easily find users reviews online, if 10$ is all you can afford do not buy hardware wallet yet, wait till you can as keep your Bitcoin on Electrum wallet until you can purchase a Nano hardware wallet.
I believe the market for each product is different anyway, I doubt anyone who would happily buy a Ledger is interested in DIY products or something similar. Of course, some exception does exist, but the majority of them is definitely not an enthusiast. If anything I believe this product compete with other alternative such as an air-gapped USB device with Electrum or something similar. CMIIW.
1269  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: NEW Bitcoin Lightning Marketplace on: April 29, 2023, 01:41:52 PM
I can't even access your website. It shows an SSL error and I can't really see anything about your website, granted I used a VPN to access it. Did you block some IPs from some countries or something? As far as my internet experience goes with the VPN I use right now, even if they got blocked by some services I still get a notif or explanation about it.

How will you guarantee that the buyer won't scam the seller or vice versa btw?
1270  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do u think that the body governing need to re-strategize ? on: April 29, 2023, 01:30:47 PM
I want to believe that the body regulating these coins needs to re-strategize for better acceptance. I will like to have your views.
You're assuming they want to accept/integrate crypto into their system, which is not always the case. If they don't want crypto to enter then you will never see any crypto-friendly regulation or strategy comes into play. Basically, you'll probably need to change the person in charge of these policies if you want to see any changes, or try to lobby them with organizations and so on. Like it or not it becomes political to some extent, especially if this issue can be used to determine whether they'll get votes from the public or not.

I believe the majority of countries will likely regulate exchange sooner or later, but will never allow crypto as a legal form of payment. Basically, it will be treated like gold or other investment assets. That won't really stop you if you want to pay stuff with crypto though.
1271  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is anyone else glad Bitcoin is calming down? on: April 29, 2023, 01:05:33 PM
It is not new. If you're around for a while you'll realize that mempool always gets busy when there is high volatility. People don't really have the patience to wait and that's why they'll keep increasing their fee, which in turn increases the average fee for the next blocks. CMMIW, but miners would still make a decent profit as of right now as long as they can find a block even if the fee does not increase since the majority of their profits come from the block rewards and not fees.
1272  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Please check your binance address on: April 28, 2023, 02:44:20 PM
Another good thing about this Binance change of address is that the old address is not completely useless. For those that copy and save the address on their notepad or wherever, deposits made won't be lost; they will still be deposited into the user's account. But no one knows how long until they are completely eradicated from their system.
I'd still discourage users from reusing the same address after this. Even if you can still use it for as long as Binance exist, who knows what kind of move they will pull later down the line if you newer 'renew' your deposit address. I also believe it is bad practice to copy-paste from a notepad or something similar instead of always checking your deposit address since malware might alter your data and so on. In short, better use the new one and ditch the old one asap.

I don't feel I have coins in the wallet that on mention, I won't respond to it.
It is a deposit address anyway, your balance on Binance won't change because of this. It just affects your new deposit for those coins/tokens in Binance.
1273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After HongKong, it is time for Taiwan on: April 28, 2023, 02:27:40 PM
It surprise me a bit that what has been done in my country for months, or maybe years, is slowly happening to other countries (if I don't misread this news). Not sure how it will impact the global market, but as far as I can see it doesn't really change how the status quo works that much. I can imagine people being more open to sharing that they have crypto and want to trade on a registered exchange, oversea exchange gets more hurdles to pass if they want to serve customers from Taiwan (depending on the law tbh), and so on.

At the very least, this is better than how US do their thing where they just sue exchanges left and right because they fail to register their service and follow regulation when the regulation they set is unclear and so easy to interpret to different ways. CMIIW.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: I just got an android on: April 28, 2023, 12:33:02 PM
But now Blue Wallet no longer supports the Bitcoin Lightning Network
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I remember, they still support lightning network, just that you need to use other nodes or run your own node if you want to use lightning network. I don't think there's any new update that clarify they also stop the lightning network features, CMIIW.

1275  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Nano Ledger S Plus discount code? on: April 28, 2023, 12:25:09 PM
You can just lurk around this sub since people will usually make a new thread if there is a new price cut or something similar. Not limited to Nano S or any Ledger product too. AFAIK you can also browse around their website since they don't really hide/make their discount a secret thing. Btw, why are you looking for a Nano S plus? IIRC, you already have a Nano S. Have you considered using other wallets or building your own?
1276  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: When Trustwallet doesn't show incoming transactions on: April 28, 2023, 12:07:43 PM
I'm trying Sparrow wallet. About truswallet, I will leave some satoshis to see what happens if I reinstall it. As said the funds are coming and the global balance is ok. It's strange and does happen to someone else too.
From my experience, sometimes Trust Wallet background process got killed by my phone saving feature so if there is a new transaction there won't be any notification. You might want to check your device saving feature, but keep in mind that changing settings/adding the app to a whitelist doesn't really help for whatever reason. This is not always true though, since sometimes it doesn't give any notification too even if I open the app and close it for a few minutes. At the end of the day though Trust Wallet is just not reliable and good enough if you want to use it as your main wallet.
1277  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project: Sewing machine BITCOIN on: April 26, 2023, 02:51:39 PM
I tried to sell my artworks here, on twitter... but no sales...
As far as I know, collectibles are pretty popular here. Have you tried making those kinds of products and selling them in the collectibles section? I'm not familiar with it but there is no other choice since your product is quite niche. I don't think things will change even if you tried to make a thread on the Services board since your service/products are not really in demand here.

How did you try to sell on Twitter anyway? Do you just make a new account and start tweeting here and there? If that's the case, I believe your marketing will produce no result.
1278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which crypto wallet is better to take for a beginner? on: April 26, 2023, 01:23:05 PM
I suggest you spend some time browsing around the Wallet Software boards. There are many threads that discuss different wallets there, including which wallet is good for beginners. The threads linked above are a good source too, just remember that some info on the OP might not be up to date, although the principle should stay the same. You can also use resources like https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet (although the list is a bit out of date afaik, CMIIW) to help you decide which wallet to choose, although it looks like you're limiting your choice to a hardware wallet only.

Since you're looking for a hardware wallet, the Hardware wallets would be the best sub-boards if you want to ask more. I suggest you read and learn something first before you make a new thread though, since information on how hardware wallet works, which products are available to buy etc are easy to find.
1279  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I lost my btc after chipmixer was taken over on: April 26, 2023, 01:10:46 PM
If you can provide all the documents and very good reasons why you need to use Mixer then go proceed to present your case,
I'd discourage OP if he wants to do this, regardless of how much BTC he lost. The time and money spent to get his money back is probably not worth the hassle. Just move on OP, and learn from this to never share your private key with others, even if they are famous/reputable in the community. Some services even straight-up exit scammed you when they believe they are being threatened or they no longer make profits. It takes a single take-down notice or insolvency notice to lose all of your money, better store all of your crypto in a secure wallet next time. At the end of the day, this is one of those risks that you need to accept if you used a service that works like Chipmixer.
1280  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin Twitter account hacked, $22k lost on: April 26, 2023, 12:46:25 PM
So how exactly people have lost those 22k? With famous "Elon Musk donation" scam, that was and still popular in YouTube? It is unbelievable how people still got caught for that. Of course that is due to greed, but KuCoin and Twitter are also responsible for letting that happen.
According to some news, when the hacker was in control of the Kucoin account they tweeted some phishing websites. So it is safe to assume some users assume it was a legit one, connect their hot wallet to it, and then they lost their funds. I can't verify it myself, but there have been many similar phishing scams in the past, so it is not unlikely. People should've learned by now to never connect their account/wallet to some shady website even if it was posted by a famous account.
