Bravo to ARK's design team. It doesn't get mentioned enough about how good ARK's overall design is.
Indeed! That's what I was thinking today too. I randomly came upon a very clever design/mechanism in their forums today. Try marking with your cursor the text from someone's post, just a word or a sentence, mark it like you'd do in order to copy it. Then click the "reply" button and the bellow is what you get, it's magic! @RivAngE said in [Thread's Title]

As a web developer, I really enjoy small details like these!

Hi,
Curious to know, I am currently mining on Whalesburg pool. Currently When the dev fee kicks in it stops all mining recreates the dag file and then mines to another pool. If I was to use this for would it stop that and send the dev fee to the Whalesburg pool I'm currently mining on?
Thanks!
I haven't try that but based on my understanding of how this tool works, it'll still disconnect from your pool in order to connect to the dev's pool. What this does is spoof your Ethereum address in place of the Dev's address.

The CryptoBridge is unable to generate a new address for deposit, it just says "Unknown".
This is a general issue with Crypto-Bridge. Just try refresh again in a minute, it might have generated an address but hasn't show it yet. If not, it might be a BWK specific problem with a general error!

Well I don't know wheather someone has asked this before or not but as well all know that one day all the sMerits will get over since only half of the Merit sent gets converted into sMerit , so what will be the next step to get them back? How will you refill the sMerits ?
Our merit wont be refilled per month, only certain people called 'sources' that have their sMerit refilled per month basis. Currently we have 57 merit sources with a total merit generation of up to 11975 sMerit per 30 days and with that number can be used, i guess it is enough to rank up worthy users of jr. member to member rank. So dont be discouraged by the number of it, try to make a quality things and you will earn some. You can read it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;statsThe problem is... you have to get noticed by them. So posting 2-3 good quality posts every day won't help and spamming every thread with short posts won't help either. So what's left? IMHO you've got to make Bitcointalk your main employment if you care about rank. Personally I have some more-than-standard free time the last days and I can be active in the forums, but I have more questions than answers to give! Not really a chance to reach member status that way. I belive that my fair rank with my knowledge, activity etc should be Member, not Jr. Member nor above Member. Yet I'll have to probably wait like 6 months to reach Member. Yes, I only care for my rank because of signature campaigns, but what's wrong with being paid for doing marketing? It's like accusing an actor for advertising a product he might not be using IRL.

There's a lot of advantages of bitcoin i'm going to list some of the great adavantages of bitcoin.
• It's global currency, meaning you can transact to different countries it's easier since you don't need to convert your local money to their local money. • It's price keeps increasing and increasing. If you have bitcoin or invest in bitcoin your money may double or triple • You can use bitcoin as a mode payment. • You can earn bitcoin easily. There's a lot of ways in order for you to earn bitcoin. • You can earn bitcoin no matter what's your age, no matter what's your gender or race. • It reduces the unemployments in the society. • It helps students or other people to have extra source of income. • Easy transaction.
There's many advantages of bitcoin that's vey helpful to our daily lives. That's why bitcoin is the most know and most valuable digital currency in the cryptocurreny world. best answer yet but it will not reduce the numbers of unemployed people remember.. easy to use reliable to any transferable anywhere around the world fee cost are small for just a single transaction anonymously trasacting investment and many more just search and try ehhehe keep earning
I agree with all your points except the ones I marked with red. Those poitns are true for many other coins but they're my main issues with Bitcoin. I believe Bitcoin has indeed many advantages over fiat currencies, but many disadvantages over other cryptocurrencies. BTC price is where it is now because it was a pioneer, but imho it's overated at the moment.

Excuse me, it's probably just me but ... what is flipping? Like, selling the moment you get the coins in your "hands"?

I don't usualy join ICOs, I prefer slow and steady gains and with most ICOs being either a scum or a promising project failing in the end, I prefer to dodge the bullets!
However I had this one in my crosshair since I'm an ARK investor and there is a cooporation between Blockport and ARK, I trust the ARK developers and if they're working with Blockport, then it's not a scam; yet it could fail even if the Blockport devs do their best to succeed. Anyway I couldn't decide on time and I didn't buy before it close. I'll use the platform for sure though when it's released.

Don't you think Bytecoin belongs in this list too? It's name was probably chosen in order to lure in newcomers who wouldn't notice the difference between Bytecoin and Bitcoin. When I first started with cryptocoins, I remember people calling Bytecoin a scam because of a big amount of pre-mine I think? Not sure.... nevertheless I see that the price has some possitive action the last months so I don't know.
Bytecoin pre-mine was huge, 80% I believe, I heard a lot was given away and a lot assumed lost, considering it wasn't all dumped during one of the major pumps. I heard it was close to being 100% mined out - I sold all mine during a pump about a year ago IXC is a good one to add to the list - the first sidechain, still just about keeping its head above water despite being fully mined for about 5 years Since you mentioned this... what would happen when a coin is fully mined? What if BTC survive for many more years until there is close to 0 coins to mine? In order to sustain a profitability either a lot of ASICs would have to shutdown or the tx fees would skyrocket in order for the miners to receive the fees as rewards (and technically they wouldn't be called miners anymore!) Has this been confirmed to have happened to any other coin?

does it work with CM11 ? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fuphinhnhanh.com%2Fimages%2F2018%2F02%2F18%2Fnodevfeei.png&t=662&c=Jx77N-R7bP33wA) I wait for a longtime, but dont see 2nd line fake devfee. It's random, that's why. If you got 1 message for devfee, then it works. As I said in my last post, in 5 hours I had 9 DevFee shares out of 342 total shares, that's 2,63% fee of my shares. In your screenshot you had 1 DevFee out of 50 shares, which is exactly 2%. I imagine you only run the miner for an hour or so though? That's a pretty small sample to draw any conclusions.

I'm sure this has been answered before and I've tried to use the search function of the forums to find the answer in this thread but it didn't prove helpful! So... here goes nothing!
Say I offer 500GB of storage over a slow line that uploads only at 120 kb/s maximum and it runs 24/7, has anyone done something similar in order to inform me of the payout I should expect? I had try Storj back in September or Octomber, can't recall exactly, and after using it for about a month I had no payment. I also checked my address a month later and it had nothing. I could have set up something wrong though and I'm willing to give it another try if it's a little profitable.

How many time or confirmations needed for Cryptopia deposit, already 35 confirmations but any sign in Cryptopia balance ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Cryptopia needs 20 confirmations. But sometimes it misses blocks. Opened ticket, 60conf already and no signs on balance, explorer show right balance and increasing conf count ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Don't bother mate, you'll have the amount credited sooner than the time needed for your ticket to be answered. If a deposit gets stuck, you get it in about 24-72 hours (from what I've experienced and what I've heard so far). There's no way anyone is going to answer to you in the meantime!

This might not be fair for new people, I don't know if others will ever consider to give merit to newbies. Guess I had to been registered here like 1year back to get some kind of "good" positions. Juniors and newbies are often treated poorly and seen as funny guys around, not taken seriously.
I totally agree with this opinion .. how can we get recognition if we beginners in the eyes of one eye ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) is there a better way out? What do you mean by beginner here ? Newbie, jr member ? If you are active here, you might have noticed that some new members already became members after gaining 10 merits after the merit system. Well don't forget that after this system was implemented, people being "member" rank already received 10 merit automatically. The same happened with every other rank that requires merit to reach. Also exclude some people who ranked up because they had friends to merit them or "bought" merit in some shaddy way and from the already few ranked up members you can see why others are taking about merit liquidity problems.

They post news without substance and they are promising signature rewards for "next week" every week. With only words and no actions this is not going anywhere. Most likely the devs want to keep the free as high as they can in order to unload their premined coins little by little.

It's not just BWK, many small Altcoins fell in price. But it's Sunday and the volatility is expected to be lower. So don't worry much about it..... At least yet.

I see a lot of unreasonable promises here like exchange, debit card, payment gateway. How do they plan to do all that? When and what for? Not there are a lot of biiiig coins trying to do the same but...now its just words, nothing more unfortunately ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) It's just part of the copy-paste they've done from the GoByte coin, people also noticed a text "1000 gbx are required for a Masternode" written somewhere before it was changed ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

It's interesting to see how many shares I was actually losing to DevFee... it's still a small sample I've got but in 5 hours I had 9 Dev shares out of 342 total shares.
