It's working better now, but I still have a negative balance.
Does anyone know how to fix this, except submitting a ticket? Buying the same coin isn't working (done that a couple of times yet). Selling will probably fix it, but I can't as the negative balance is quite high (and I can't buy enough coins to make it positive again).

"I'm curious would killing the API do anything?" I think it does. What I've read is that there are many "trade bots" trading over their. Killing the API would help.
I also PM'd BitJohn about an update. I think it's quite dump that BigVern added even more (LTC) markets, while the servers can't handle the current trades.
I don't see any trade happen now, but I'm not sure whether that is because of my negative balance (which I've got due to a bug) or whether that's like that for everyone.

I wonder why nobody else is starting one up? is it that costly and difficult? I guess there is a lot more too it than we realise, the security side must be a nightmare, but still come on somebody here must have the resources to do it?
Indeed, I think it's really hard to create the trade engine and the security must be state of the art, as I think there are millions of dollars traded every day. TagBond (the company behind the great TagCoin) is changing their exchange to make it more easier and to be able to add more coins. It isn't finished yet, but keep an eye on it ( http://www.tagbond.com/12916 , yes, it's my refferal URL but it won't harm you. Allthough I don't even know what's in for me posting this URL ^^).

The current lag is really horrible indeed. I think those servers are about 99,8% of their capacity now, as the website also goes down sometimes. Come on Cryptsy, these problems are here for more than a week now I guess. Time enough to get some extra servers..

It surprises me how many people reach such high tiers. Heck, I am barely reaching the 50 post minimum.
I'm quite addicted to this forum and I put allmost all my spare time in this forum ^^. That makes it easier to post more than 50 posts. Hey, count me in ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Currently post no 149. Are you sure? You just have 3 days left, or are you going to take these posts to next month? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Keep buying an selling that particular coin and your total balance will show up. You can do this with very low amounts. - - Cryptsy is offline for me now. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Yeah, join us at http://gdc.nordicminers.eu/. I don't own it or something, but I'm happily mining over there. You need to register, but who cares? I haven't received a confirmation e-mail I think, so you can make up an e-mailaddress. Alltough, that emailaddress can change your password if they want.

![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Sold many of my APC's earlier, for also a good price in my opinion. But those prices are insane. How do you know that value? Do you trade it on BTC38? I don't see an option to trade it for LTC or something over there.

Ah, i didn't see that. Don't know what causes that, probably a bug (I hope ^^).

What's "WTF" about that? FYI; I don't think we will stay at this level; we will be even higher soon. Yes, I'd wish that I bought more DGC earlier. Anyway, I bought many DGC now for 0,00078 BTC again ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .

Looks like I haven't stacked up enough DGC yet, if I see the current prices ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Well done, DigiCommunity!

We have a backlog of support tickets in the 1000's- We will get to everyone. Might not be as fast as we would like to.
- Bulk replies yep we have done a few and it makes some folks unhappy in those are some pretty common fixes to the majority of the problems we see. Its an attempt to help as many folks as we can quickly not to blow anyone off.
- Leaving your ticket open when it is fixed still makes an agent spend 5-15 minutes on your issue.
- Some folks are doing 10-15 tickets on the same issues.
- Leaving out details in your ticket slows it down tremendously. Saying simply "MY COINS ARE MISSING FIX IT" will likely not get you fixed faster. Not that we dont want to help but the lack of detailed information makes the agent reply and dig it out.
. OK so what about people that have only got canned replys for 2+ weeks now, "done few bulk replys" is a HEAVY understatement.. Your staff dont even look at the tickets they just send a retarded canned reply that have nothing, absolutely NOTHING to do with the actual ticket. Had the same earlier, but now all my problems are fixed. BitJohn himself answered my last ticket, which was about Xencoin. It looks like it needs to be added again on Cryptsy to be able to withdraw them again. I think this is the same for other coins which are now unable to withdraw. BitJohn said about this "XNC will return once the wallet issue we are having with that coin is resolved.". Thanks BitJohn!

Don't forget to add TagCoin and DigitalCoin ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Together with LTC (and probably FTC) they do have a future.

Indeed, sometimes you need to sell / buy the coin more than once to get it fixed by your own, but it does work for me (and so it will for anyone else).
I don't like the lags at Cryptsy, but I don't think there is a better alternative. I think Cryptsy will be better soon, as soon as the got up with the tickets and have added more servers.
|
|
|
FYI: Up again!
Not sure what causes the time offline.
@Kanus; you can submit a ticket to request a specific coin.

On their twitter thing at the homepage you could have seen they have trouble due to the increasing amount of users. Allmost every day you can find an update over there.
If you join such exchange and trade huge amount of money, you should do soem research in advance in my opinion. If you did, you would have known about this. Obviously you didn't.
I'm not telling Cryptsy is doing a great job, it sucks that balances dissapear and approves and withdrawings might take long, but they don't scam you.
And, about those servers, they are expanding their capacity.
