2101  Economy / Services / Re: Help the Homeless animals!! Urgent adoption needed !! on: December 29, 2020, 02:41:56 AM
Hello guys 🐱 Today I thought I would share a story of my recent rescue with you maybe it could inspire someone to go and rescue some animals from the shelter.

I go to our nearest shelter where they don't have electricity or water and it's snowing this time of the year. They have around 350+ dogs and a lot of new baby puppies. Apparently when I was helping them out normally, I found this little mamma dog being transported inside the cages. She was looking for her puppies and in her cage were 5 more dogs and she wasn't getting along with anyone. Everyone was biting her but they could not put her anywhere else since they didn't have a lot of free cages. I couldn't take her since I already have 5+ animals at home and 2 of them were new Foster kittens.

The day after a received a call how she had stopped eating and not even drinking water. This was her face when I went to see her^

She knew something that I didn't. Well the same day in the middle of the night around 12 am I went to get her from the shelter since I couldn't sleep, couldn't focus, she literally sat there waiting for me.

The shelter is 5.2 km away in an abandoned area , kind of like fields but yes super scary , as I walked alone with her out of the shelter she kept on smiling. Such a weird dog I thought. I was sure someone was going to adopt such a sweetheart. She was around 2 years old and was as small as a cat.

But who knew she had different plans...

I was so scared that she will bite the other kittens and dogs since I rent a 1bhk and there is literally no way I will leave them outside in the yard. We came home, gave her a bath, we were literally scared for our cats since she didn't like them but since it's lockdown and my college is off therefore I decided, well I can very well stay at home.

This is her literally 5 minutes afterwards.

The shelter have so many dogs, puppies, sick ones, one's without legs even some who cannot see, but the government they don't fund the shelter, it's literally on a brink, people come and drop off some food , clothes , whatever they can.

This dog , he cannot see , he is fully blind from both eyes , apparently I believe he was surrendered.

I have more than 100 pictures of the condition they are living in. Since it's pandemic, people don't really go there anymore. 2 girls work as volunteers and they go out on walks only once in a while. I was only able to save candy from here and I cannot really go there everyday since right now I have a mini rescue shelter at home too.

This is her now , enjoying her life. Apparently two people came to see her, to adopt her but Ms. Candy wanted to bite them. She literally is the most grateful, the most gentle and beautiful creature I have ever seen but apparently she doesn't wanna go now. Lol yeah so I have a total of 5 pets now.

She is a better guard dog than my dog and she loves , literally loves my rabbit.

This is her giving the bunny kisses 😂

Her smile is so weird , like she knew this was going to happen. See I understand that because of the quarantine I cannot ship them to some other country or get them adopted afar. But I believe it all comes down to if you are ready to give a homeless animal home. I believe you can all take a trip to your nearest shelter and try and see if you find someone who literally would be grateful for a roof over their head , a bowl and ofcourse a lot of love.

Please 🙏🙏
The situation is dire and I believe we all can change it. I really met such good people here who are willing to adopt but unfortunately during the pandemic I cannot see how it will go though. So how about you guys try and share stories of your rescue pets too ? Maybe someone will get inspired to make a trip down to their nearest shelter?

I managed to relocate the two baby kittens , the mama pitbull , her babies died because of parvovirus that was really unfortunate. Other than that we rescued a pregnant mom cat , she is happy and living in a temporary shelter and two other cats who were thrown outside.

I can share many more stories... If someone wants some advice on cats/dogs/bunnies , maybe if you don't know if it would be right , you can message me 24*7 , I could help and see if I can support you in any way.

Is there anytime Bitcoin can be deposited and also be withdraw
You can deposit and withdraw Bitcoins anytime according to your convenience. Is not like stocks where you have to wait till you spend the required timeframe.
I do think that you have to work on elaborating your questions more.

But in the same context, there are things like
Bitcoin futures, a company where this this are regulated to an extent.

I do think op means if he does have the freedom to buy/sell as he please.

Just download a good trading platform or wallet and you are ready to go 🌞🌞

Best of luck with your future search and please don't forget to elaborate more

2103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are your Bitcoins safe? on: December 28, 2020, 04:23:27 PM
Weather it was a password of bitcoin wallet or no , it's still a matter of concern. People use their wallets, downloading an offline wallet is not only common but it is also very convenient. So the chances are if you are going to use an offline wallet and forget the password/ loose your mobile phone / damage it. You are going to loose literally everything. The more bitcoins you have, the more it becomes one of a serious concern. You should invest in a hardware wallet or something which would actually keep your money safe. After a certain value you have to try and invest more in the safety. You can also invest in softwares which have an inbuilt VPN, safety measures, things like that, it doesn't cost much but is worth everything.

I would like to think that my funds are safe, having my own recovery key and store in a place where only I have knowledge about feels safe enough although we can't be too careful,
Sometimes you can even forget where your recovery phrase are stored, that could be a problem as well, so keeping recovery key and knowing where they are kept are very important.

Keeping and importing it on a trusted wallet is the only thing a bitcoin user need to remember. You should have atleast a physical and soft copy of your private key so that you will never loss your keys in any emergency occur to your life like fire, hack or flood. Sometimes a regular check to your keys will help to make it safe.

A regular check ok the key is not something I would recommend. If you did make a private copy and it is safe, then I do believe that you should only use it in times when you really have to. If you have kept it safe and made a back up lock it up !!!

Plus for unusual circumstances I do believe that you should let your family know or contact some services which deal with this.

2104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: December 28, 2020, 03:40:06 PM
The one rule I did read about in the investors magazine is
"Never to invest when the price is up"

I do agree with your statement but not fully though. Right now the price of BTC is scaling up and it's looking really good for everyone but I am pretty sure that we will see a considerable difference in the price in few days or so. I do believe that it would be much wiser to wait up for the price to go down and then invest instead of investing right now. It is anyways a good idea if you just realized the value of BTC and do want to hold for a long term, then it doesn't really matters when you buy.

I do see people commenting a lot about how it's not a bad idea but I do believe that it is right now. We are in a state of Pandemic and it won't be able to hold out that price for too long. Sooner or later the price might go down. There is a very good possibility regarding that. Look out and learn from the past.
2105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump want more money stimulus nice one on: December 28, 2020, 02:48:55 PM
Trump want more good for USDT.

Once its approved the fed will print the USDT guys can Mint more USDT nice one!!

Without Trump the fed is lazy, well Trump been pushing always hard Workers to Work more.
Look like fed gona print more for us Smiley

Do you really consider the stimulus to be a good thing ? I do think that the citizens of the US should push the government for things like:
     Getting jobs to the unemployed
Control the inflation for necessary things which is usually done by someone who is hoarding
Keep a check on the price of the dollar
Give out things like sanitizers, masks , etc.. for the homeless and for the normal people too
Analyze the situation and start producing things locally.
      Etc.

I don't know why third strategy is giving people money. First it was way more and now it's just 600$ unfortunately and I have seen all the posts on instagram where people are criticizing the government whereas I do believe what they are doing is literally way enough. People need to understand that they won't continue getting money from the government , this is literally spoon feeding and they should push towards more permanent solutions.

Plus Donald Trump just wants to Buy people using money.
2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Tennessee Sports book amazing first month revenue. on: December 28, 2020, 10:16:54 AM
Sports book is kind of a all in one place where people can legally wager on many kinds of sports and in the US as we know there are some of the biggest markets for the sports gambling.

For the month of November apparently Tennessee is ok headlines for generating more revenue than any state for the first month in History.

Tennessee generated 131.4 million dollars !!

The previous record was just around 30 million dollars which is really low. At the same time New Jersey which is the capital when it comes to sports gambling, it took 4 months to actually reach even around 130 millions.

Now what this means :
- It generated revenue not only for the government and the companies involved but now people also have an amazing option.

Quote
Operators received a welcome boost from the recent success of the Tennessee Titans, the National Football League team who are enjoying one of their best seasons.

“Local sports matter in legal sports jurisdictions in the US, and a strong NFL team matters more than most, so the Titans success is bound to translate into bets,” said Dustin Gouker, analyst for PlayTenn.com.

“With its growing list of operators, this is just the start for the market. The next question is when and if Tennessee will challenge Colorado and Indiana in terms of overall market size. It appears sooner than anyone expected.”

SoUrCe: https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/10726/tennessee-sportsbooks-generate-1314m-in-first-month

If during pandemic it was able to pull this off so smoothly I do think the government will think more about expanding their business and allowing more sports books to open locally.

What do you think ?
Which other state have such high potential?

2107  Economy / Economics / Re: China Economy Forecasted to Surpass US Economy by 2028 on: December 28, 2020, 03:58:16 AM
Hello
This is really something that might happen in the upcoming years. The developing countries have a lot of potential, literally , these countries might surpass the US economy but this won't happen as fast as 2028. Countries like US, UK, they have achieved their potential and now the only good thing would be, if they can keep it stabilized. Due to coronavirus the economic situation of many countries have changed overnight.
The Japan, Germany , UK they are all outperforming, US is right now in a pinch due to the economic arrest and the pandemic situation right now.
Quote
Real gross domestic product (GDP) increased at an annual rate of 33.4 percent in the third quarter of 2020, as efforts continued to reopen businesses and resume activities that were postponed or restricted due to COVID-19. The change was 0.3 percentage point higher than the “second” estimate released in November

source
>> I found this on the internet and therefore I do think that the US is recovering better as compared to what we would have thought.
Now US might outperform China too, since they are already on a pedestal.
Dollar is thought to be a bubble , but I do think that the new government might change the situation for good.
2108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost in USD value on: December 28, 2020, 03:21:44 AM
See what you have described here is the biggest flaw of cryptocurrencies and their Gambling. Now since the price if bitcoins is rising, people traded XRP for BTC , if that makes sense. Most of the times people encounter this problems every once in a while and the only solution is keeping up with the market. The moment you see the price might go down and is going down , you have to act fast and transfer and encash. If you wait too long , you would have to ultimately wait for a while to get the same value in USD. You actually didn't loose anything here, you have not encashed right now, you have to wait for the price to become stable again.

Again let me state a very common statement**You never loose anything as long as you don't encash**

I do think you have already read about the predictions for XRP 2021 , apparently people are saying it can hit 30$.

-Don't encash keep them there and if needed transfer them to a wallet.
- Wait for the price to get stabilized
2109  Economy / Economics / Re: Strong kyc reason on: December 28, 2020, 02:25:39 AM
See I do believe that we can see from both the sides , it is both positive and negative. As far as banks are concerned, they are not taking any money from us perse , we are depositing in our chosen bank account, we need them at the end of the day because even right now we have not yet reached a point where transactions and transfers all can be carried out in cryptocurrencies without any intervening central bodies. Therefore if they are asking us to do KYC, they are keeping a record, they are making a list of people who are engaging in trading cryptocurrencies. Yes this is not at all ethical, breaching someone's privacy but let us remember the fact that we already use facebook , Instagram and whatsapp, we should be more worried about them.
If you are depositing money in a good bank, you can take it out any second, you do have good security and at the same time it's  very important to have a bank account though which you can engage in trading etc. Therefore here I do think you falsely think so. They cannot take interest from *Us* for engaging in trading.
2110  Economy / Economics / Re: Strong kyc reason on: December 27, 2020, 07:13:13 PM
Wait KYC ?
KYC means : Know your Customer through documents, identity documents which does have your clear image on them and I do believe that there is literally nothing that could pay them money by keeping our identities. Except the FBI ofcourse but I rather not think that they gonna be paying anyone money.
The real reason why they do this is because they want to keep a track of everyone, of their money, where it is going and how much they have, how many bank accounts they are operating etc.. they just need it to track us down 🔻 if something bad happens and at the same time the government uses this to create a database.
I do not think that banks get paid for just getting the KYC done. This is absolutely wrong.
**They cannot create money out of KYC transactions** how would they??
-Banks will add digits ??
They only ask you to do KYC if you are already a customer and using their service and therefore I don't think any bank would call you overnight and ask you for it.
Old money is gone ??
Like what ??
Not all banks are bankrupt. Some of them do have a huge set of backup which does make them secure 🔐.I really don't understand how you think it goes but maybe you know something that I don't ? Please elaborate.
2111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to adjust and work with the bet365 live streaming on: December 27, 2020, 05:17:12 PM
Would be extremely helpful for people who are good at gambling and at the same time who might be benefited from the live streaming. You won't just earn but also get recognition. This is real helpful. I do believe that most of the people like me didn't really know about nowhere the features was hidden lol. Thanks.
But one question* if this makes their site more popular why do they try and hide it ?*
If you want to actually do but you don't have any options you can just use screen recorder just in case, it's free and it works wonders.
Gambling site is legal ofc and I do think streaming should be too since most people playing video games etc...they do it every second. It is really really common. The laws will ultimately depend on where you live.
Is this legal?
I know the gambling website is legal but how about the streaming?
There are policies that cannot be streamed without authority or you will need to pay more if you will use it for a different purpose.
Just asking.
We all want to watch live stream sports games but that means taking out profits from sports management, right?
If it is, damn I will sign up too.  Cheesy That might save me some money and rather gamble it.

Am..No ! No one's taking profit out if them , they paying them for their service , Makin sure they have a free advertising and at the same time using their own money
2112  Economy / Economics / Re: All people in the real world still think everything is fine !!! on: December 27, 2020, 04:56:45 PM
You have no evidence of whatsoever therefore ofcourse people didn't listen to your advice. It's not like pandemic was forecasted in advance. You have to understand for a fact that this happened but you cannot blame them for not listening.
No one can track the market for sure , no one knows what's going to happen and therefore as weird as it is , that's how it goes. Are you an astrologist or someone ? A time traveller ? No right ? This are baseless claims that one has to give a reason for.
1. Predictions are just *Predictions*
2. Remember the quote from the wolf of wall street **No one really knows what's gonna happen with the market

**I don't really know how many times I have used this quote in prediction related posts. Tongue**

we are used to think everything is going to be alright though. things are very unexpected because of this covid19. if the price of all assets are going to be dumped, people wouldn't really think an advice from someone online will e reliable.

up until today when bitcoin proves to be resilient when it comes to pandemic like this covid, none of my inlaws thought of investing on btc.

Which advice can they consider reliable ? Advice from the government ? From a company ? From banks ? Everyone is in a state of crisis and is making really haphazard decisions. Do what you think is best for you so that you won't have anyone to blame later.
2113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blocked funds in a poker room on: December 27, 2020, 04:20:07 PM
Hi guys,

Sorry for the delay but I try to put a little distance between me and the story on an emotional plan (yes yes) since it's been a few months now and I just can't think every day about it otherwise I get crazy. Thus I usually do my "Bodog session" once a week more or less and today is the day.

Here are the last updates : They accused me to use a VPN which I accepted (but that again that wasn't written in the English ToS), and also that "the owner of this account is not the one whose personal details were used to sign up the account" which I contest, so I answered asking for more details i.e. what make them think I wouldn't be the owner, and giving them a BTC address for the withdrawal.

Since then, they copy/pasted the same mail 10 days later, asking one more time for a valid BTC address they already have

So I more or less copy pasted my previous e-mail with the same questions because they didn't answer my question one week ago, and here we are ! They haven't answered yet.

And guys sorry if I don't answer some questions, usually I don't answer because it's an information that is already in the thread. If there is any new question you wanna ask, please feel free and I'll try to answer them asap.

People use VPN all the time , some of them have even subscription for antivirus and anti-theft softwares which does have an inbuilt VPN. As far as I can remember you did tell us that '' on there site there was nothing regarding VPN " therefore even if you are asked to , you can just tell them what part of the problem they were. At the same time I don't understand the fact why this particular site is prying so much and giving incredibly late and bad responses.

1. Don't be polite
2. Let them have a piece of your mind
3. What did you do regarding the complain in the court ?

I do think they are just toying with you since they are not accepting your address and telling you again and again to do something that you already did. If it doesn't work out maybe download something like samourai ? Where they don't have any identity and ask them to transfer the funds there is possible. This is really low on the part of the gambling site I hope it resolves soon. I will be looking up for the thread in the future too. Hopefully all will be well for you.
2114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local sports book, arbs? on: December 27, 2020, 03:50:29 PM
I bet the jets to win and I won Smiley

I got all my bets money back and all my bar tab money back lol

wow congrats buddy. How much did you win?
The jets are looking strong this season so far so the odds must be on a downtrend these days.

I bet $10 on jets @ +1100 and won $110 paid $120..

Spent $70 on bets and $50 at the bar (big tip)..
Broke even basically..

Made 6 bets and only won one but it covered all..
HA!!

Thanks!!
Was fun!!

Still wanna arb this place if I can..

Congratulations on your win.
But still gonna advise you that don’t try to Arbitrage anywhere.
If they will caught you, then they will confiscate your funds and if you love your money then better to avoid this.

Moreover as in the OP you mentioned that a sports betting place has been opened near to you, does this mean Gambling is legal in your country and does that place owns a license of running a Gambling point?
If it doesn’t then you might surely fall in trouble if some government officials notice it.
I am just warning you friend. Good luck with the winnings.

Yes unfortunately things like that are really really common , j have seen people get caught in seconds , if it is indeed legal there you have nothing to worry about , just be smarter than the government.

Rest I do think it is a good thing that you are supporting local businesses during this time. These people are not the one's having a big cut.

But then again it's Riskier , plus online you could find many Gambling sites offering a lot of discounts and even cashbacks since Christmas was right around the corner therefore right now that stuff is more legal and you should try and look for some good betting sites online.

It's close to impossible to make arbs with local bookies. The stated odds on the brochure are for illustration purposes and different when you are placing real bets.

Local bookies rarely can provide good odds because they have to pay more taxes, salaries, rent, etc.

They don't even have a good cut nor do they
Know what they are dealing with. Whereas a crypto gambling site would not only protect your information but it would also provide you with a lot to choose from and a good selection.
2115  Other / Off-topic / Re: Covid is fud on: December 27, 2020, 07:33:05 AM
This is really enjoyable to see topics like these when people are working day and night to keep others safe, nurses working every second, doctors not being able to hug their kids , people dying of starvation and we enjoying the warmth of Christmas and just have to do nothing but *sit inside*

FUD ?
COVID is FUD?
First if let me tell you what it is : It's a Virus which was uncontrollably spread, I do believe that the Chinese authorities thought just like you. They even tried to shush the people to keep quiet about this outbreak.

Millions of people have died and a lot of them are suffering. Virus mutated in the UK, it did happen back in India but it died on its own. The people with diseases , chronic disease are dying. People who are immuno- compromised , they are scared for your lives every single day.

COVID is a Virus which might not affect you or me much , maybe it will be as normal as a common cold for se but for most of the people it's a havoc , people have died because of this Virus, I can clearly give you a case history of 7 of the people that were close to me who died during this pandemic.

It's not a marketing strategy.
It's not a joke.
Uk is far from getting okay with the new mutated form.
Do one thing please : Take the vaccination!
Secondly: If you cannot really respect the essential workers, doctors , nurses , medical students, your friends with medical problems, your grandparents, at least don't say things like that. It sends a bad message to other people. Might even influence some of the kids.

Be responsible.
2116  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Company are holding more than 10000 Bitcoin on: December 26, 2020, 06:38:33 PM
Some of them consider them as: Investments
Some of them are just holding them to make sure that they don't fall afar from the society since now every other person has Bitcoins now.
Not the good thing is :
It promotes bitcoins
It gives bitcoins more investments making the price more stable perse
Now the bad thing is:
They are now Whales and can make or break the price literally!! They can change the whole thing in a couple of seconds which might be bad.
Market manipulation is always a sad thing that can happen anytime.

*At the same time these are list of the institutions and companies who are comfortable in letting it known that they are holding Bitcoins but there are many more doing it but not making it public.

- We need to find a way to tackle the market manipulation!! Otherwise sooner or later it might end up bad for the small investors like us.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 26, 2020, 06:07:17 PM
Hello

I do think that you need to understand for a fact that : Even though you might or might not rely on the odds , it's always a good decision to look out for them.

-You can use mathematical calculations most of the times and get benefited heavily
-I don't particularly rely on the odds listed on the websites but I try and calculate using probability; permutations, combinations etc.. Using high school mathematical calculations for good !
-There are also very good formulas out there too you should check out even  probability for games like football
- Plus I agree with the fact that we might not be that accurate but the point is we can rely on it and even if we are close to the probability it is actually very good.
 Shocked
2118  Economy / Economics / Re: Van Eck The Investment Case for Bitcoin on: December 26, 2020, 04:46:38 PM
So now staying out of bitcoin investment is a deliberate choice of every investor, a choice they are accountable for.

I still think that's somewhat early for institutional investors. What I mean is that your statement will start becoming more and more powerful by the time.
Right now the Bitcoin investors are still few. In the next market cycle they'll have no excuse at all for staying away.

I'm also curious how the institutions will handle next crypto winter (if we'll still have one).

I do think that it's not really early since now a days we have seen a lot of news regarding the institutions investing in bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies.
Gray Scale, coin shares , microstrategy, GiQ, Galaxy digital holdings all are nothing but good companies. You have to understand the fact that we are not in 2009 anymore and I do believe that bitcoins is now bigger than ever and due to all time high we have succeed in reaching a better place and people even have inbuilt trust in bitcoins now.

As far as investors are concerned I do think that the reason why we have less investors in the list is because they don't try and make their investments public. That's a really big problem. They might be getting benefited by bitcoins but they won't go public regarding their investments.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeldelcastillo/2020/08/06/valuable-sec-data-on-20-institutional-bitcoin-investors-could-soon-disappear/?sh=552848dd1de2

You can see the list here.

There are even a lot more but it will take a lot of time to get their names in the list ofc.

Plus it always makes me happy to see such posts where people try and encourage bitcoins and their adoption.
2119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Trading can be considered as Gambling? on: December 26, 2020, 04:11:18 PM
I do not think that you can consider trading Gambling. Gambling is more of so like :- Lucky Money but when it comes to trading you have to analyze each and everything and then reach a decision which is more or so more not dependent on odds but is rather an outcome of the market moving up and down.
Similarities are ofcourse genuine but if we consider them , you can actually take the whole life as a Gamble.
Risks are much less in Trading if you play your cards right and in the gambling unfortunately I do believe the risks are dependent on where , how much you are placing the bet etc.. gambling is riskier no doubt.
Even though no one knows what's going to happen with the market I do believe that there is a trust factor when it comes to trading your money , for example in Bitcoins. You know they are going to give you good returns , maybe not tomorrow , maybe not this month but yes , it's going to happen and it's a long process whereas Gambling is a short process.
2120  Economy / Economics / Re: Value Today of $1000 Invested 5 Years ago (Bitcoin and Stock) on: December 26, 2020, 05:46:56 AM
If you invested $1,000 in BTC and Stock 5 years ago, here’s how much you’d have now:

Bitcoin : $51,269
Shopify : $46,905
Etsy : $22,320
Nvidia: $15,688
Tesla: $14,010
PayPal: $6,471
Apple: $4,850
Amazon : $4,718
Netflix : $4,385
Microsoft : $3,790
Facebook : $2,553
Google : $2,290

Hello

I do think that you should make this list a little bit longer and at the same time you should publish it publicly on some site, Now What Would it do ??

- This would make people realize that Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are something that can make them understand the value in just a couple of years.

The thing is , if we could see stats of a person who invested in 2009, 2010 , the results are actually going to be astounding.

Let's consider this now :

The first real price increase occurred in July 2010 when the valuation of a bitcoin went from around $0.0008 to $0.08 for a single coin.

(Taken from google)

Let's consider you brought $1000 worth of bitcoins back when it started , then you will have :-

1000/0.0008= 1250000 BTC
Now if you 😂 do the maths , the value of those bitcoins that is :
1250000*24745 =30931250000 USD !!!

This would have made you a millionaire!!! According to me Bitcoins is one of the best investments one can make during this time. Even during the holiday season we have seen a really stable price.
