2101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market sentiments ? on: January 31, 2022, 12:34:13 PM
Anyhow, it's done already, and maybe we as small investors have small impact, but I think we are still part of the market and I would say has a vital role to keep the price afloat after the whales are playing the market.

I think retail investors are very important in the market. So it's a 50/50 with the whales, maybe they are the movers of the market, but retail too has so much bargaining power, ie. buy and sell and as you have said, to somewhat balance and keep the market afloat enough for the day to survived.

So it's going to be a love and hate relationship for us, the whales maybe controlling the market and we hate that, but we can also balance it out in the long run here by buying in the dip and continue to saye more BTC.

That's should happen in the long run, we cannot afford to still be in the manipulated market because crypto will not grow. As the rate of adoption increase not only because of the retail investors but most importantly the people, the power of the whales will also decrease and with that, it will result to less volatility which will make bitcoin an ideal digital currency.
2102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 31, 2022, 12:18:29 PM
Bitcoin is always one of the best and greatest creation of Mankind , this will always breing future and fortune.

so Yes maybe not now but in time, owning 1% of bitcoin will make us  rich.

But I'm lucky not only having 0.01 but larger than that .

Based on the circulation supply, the total is 18,944,831.00 BTC, which means 1% of it is 189,448.31.. that's too much money, you'll be a billionaire already if have to that kind of btc in your wallet. 1 btc is already enough for long term, it will certainly make you rich as bitcoin is destined for success and the demand will increase overtime.
2103  Economy / Economics / Re: Dealing with tax and crypto ban on: January 28, 2022, 09:23:33 PM
One who says they are banning Bitcoin, they aren't actually stopping anything they just stop the revenue for the government and how many times China banned cryptocurrency and mining operations but still its operating their right even if they are monitoring everything completely the miners will move to the country where they favor the cryptocurrency related activities and collect optimal taxes for that.
They can stop people to join crypto as they will find a way to make it happen as it was their well. yeah, the people from China had flown away from their country for that sake. I'm not sure this will connect to taxes but probably this was because some governments had made their own digital currency and they just want to protect it. But I think this is not enough to stop the freedom of the people, it is supposed they just let it go, they'll somehow find their living unless that is illegal.
2104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who saw the Bear market coming? on: January 28, 2022, 08:50:53 PM
Nobody had ever seen what will be the incoming and that is why we come to speculate the market which most of the time we get wrong (over speculated). Well, perhaps we do and never find it regretting as we are aware of the situation that it was purely unpredictable.

However, as we go through the market history, we can also predict that the market will dump somehow after Bullrun and we anticipate at least but sad to see that many (newcomers) had failed to make it but instead, they buy during the hypes and now they are suffering losses.
2105  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: January 28, 2022, 02:28:11 PM
They are just cowards and don't wanna join the market at all. Despite this dip, they would say "we will wait for lower prices' and the moment they knew it was already too late and keep telling you it is not the time. The yare just here to make noises and don't wanna spend a penny. They will never leave their safe zone and if the time maybe comes, the price would've been far greater than they ever imagined.
Then they keep waiting until the time has gone.
Well, nothing to do with these people as they are blind to see the reality, and what they do is just to complain about missing the opportunity and then blame the market.

Anyway, those who have knowledge about crypto will simply take this moment but not going to be surprised that many were still incapable to take risks. They're lots of them and can't force them to invest as it wasn't in their mindset.
2106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 28, 2022, 01:45:45 PM
it always makes sense to bribe a little and forget about these purchases for a long time. Holding a position for a long time without credit shoulders is the most adequate and correct solution. Not forgetting about security.  Safety is the most important thing.  After all, many people lose a lot of money by saying too much to others and not knowing the basics of Internet security.
People had lost their investment because they chose worthless coins but if they invest BTC and ETH, even it was not the perfect time, it still guarantees assurance in the future. Safety and security assurance? We all can get that if we are able to help ourselves then and that can be made if we have knowledge about the market. That is why I encourage people to study the market first before investing, not just to avoid losses but also for them to know what they are exactly be doing and the risk to take.
2107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: January 28, 2022, 01:07:47 PM
Hi everyone, it's been awhile, just wanted to tell you that I still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too!

Some of you may say it's a dumb decision or risky, but I'm all for BTC and positive about it. To the Moon!

It's very easy, if you can afford it. Most people can't.

It's not easy because I'm not a rich person. But I dream to become one one day and this is what keeps me hodling. It's hard but doable.

But now u must have become a rich person if you are holding even a single bitcoin. Since in 2013, the bitcoin was so cheap, so can you tell us how many bitcoins are you holding at the moment?

Its rightly said that crypto rewards to those who can hold it for maximum time. What are your plans for when you will be selling your savings ?
You much have a target selling price in mind.

Being rich depends on anyone's target. A poor person may think he is rich if he holds $10,000, but for some it's just a small money, that's because we have different satisfaction and for me, although 1 BTC is big enough already but I don't call myself rich if I own at least 1 BTC.
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show a newbie the way on: January 28, 2022, 12:30:17 PM
Now that bear market is slowly taking over the market what can a newbie do to make money in a bear market? Staking is a bad idea in bear market I heard, even mining coins are not profitable in bear market too so what's the way forward?
Newbies should relax, making money is only possible if you are a day trader, if not, you should not trade at the money, instead, just accumulate and your future will be bright. This bearish opportunity will come and it always gives you an opportunity, and that is to buy.
2109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 28, 2022, 12:08:24 PM
Curry - Thompson duo was great last night and it was promising for the coming games too. I really missed to watch these two players playing at the same time. Thompson is getting better by every game and it is nice to see. He is one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA now and he is a very important player for Warriors. In the absence of him, Curry had to carry the team but thankfully he did a great job. Because he is just an insane player. But this wouldn't have gone like this all the time in the playoffs too.
Looks like the splash brothers are back, this is their 2nd game where they dominate their opponent, their 3 point shooting is just flawless and Thompson seems to be very confident now and his shots are really falling. I like this team, they look like the old warriors, a team that is almost unbeatable.
2110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse or mature? on: January 27, 2022, 09:35:07 PM
In my opinion, the recent bitcoin price correction in the market is a possible phenomenon. However, this does not mean that bitcoin will collapse. Granted, bitcoin's performance last year is no guarantee it will be the same in the future, but that's what bullish investors tend to hold on to when they advocate for long-term Bitcoin holdings. A drop of more than 30% from a month's high is certainly undermining Bitcoin's prospects going forward. but I see, in the future bitcoin will be more mature and the bitcoin market will be bullish again.
Well, perhaps...it's all been a normal trend, nothing it becomes special to what we have now. In fact, the market turns back high now, it keeps going as for sure and this is stopping people thinking about it collapse ( as usually, it happens).

Anyhow, I going to agree that Bitcoin will soon get mature as the adoption keeps growing but talking about it collapsing someday, that gonna be different and certainly have another reason not because of the declines.
2111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is El Salvador in debt because of the bitcoin price drop? on: January 27, 2022, 09:05:09 PM
I am also curious if those posts of their President are Bitcoin bought using funds of El Salvador because maybe it comes from the money of their President itself.
And even if those are coming from the pocket of El Salvador, I believe those amounts are just a very very small amount of money I believe it will not affect the country's fund at all. Their Bitcoin portfolio is already underwater, lol.
For sure it would be on peoples money or simply belong to the state and wont really be coming from his own pocket and its true that their portfolio is on floating
negative as of this moment but doesnt mean that they would really be selling off due to panic and pretty much sure that they are fully aware on what would gonna
happen since this market is volatile since in the first place on which they are for sure prepare for this time to come and now the questions is, whether they
do buy on the dip or would cut loss?
And I guess so. Besides, we all had probably the same story, for now, losing some value of our portfolio. However, keeping our coins in our wallets is the only way to save us from losing and I think, the President of El Salvador has still kept them until now which means they are not losing yet. Well, people are just overreacting and thinking bad on every decline situation and making judgments even without seeing what really happens.
2112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 27, 2022, 11:51:49 AM
There's still hope, but never "rely" on bounty as it will make you starve, it's a high-risk type of job if you want consistency on income, better do it just for fun and don't expect a lot so you won't get hurt. Gone are the days where we can make a decent amount of money from bounty, people have learned from their experience and they are now wary when it comes to investing, and normally a bounty that offers a huge reward will likely end up a scam.
2113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: January 27, 2022, 11:22:03 AM
Both of them are pretty much similar if we judge from the skills and experiences, they're mostly loss when fight with top boxer (e.g. Crawford). Amir Khan aren't active around 2+ years, his last fought was on 2019 while Kell Brook last fought was on late 2020. It's reasonable why Kell Brook is favorited here, I see he's have higher chance to win. He probably win via decision only, knocking out Amir Khan seems hard I guess.

Inactive in 2 years makes him very rusty. I doubt the game will last 5 rounds. I use to think Amir Khan will dominate in boxing about 10 years ago when he beat fighters successively by defending his belt. Its just from the beginning and in the middle when he experienced loss, he also fades.

Kell Brook is still a contender, he is one of the fighters in the days that competes Crawford and Spence rising up together. If we watch the organization from west to east. I'd go for Brooks.

If there's no blood bath between the two it will become a friendly fight between two fighters that can be considered past their prime, but with two fighters wanting to still prove something and nasty talks going between the two I expect the two fighters wanting to dominate the other, I hope Khan chin will not betray him again, his glass chin causes his downfall, especially on his knock out loss against Canelo.

I don't think we will ever see a friendly fight here, both of them want to win and the winner here could probably get a bigger fight. It's mostly about money and winning means there's still money on the next fight especially fi the win is very impressive, so I expect an entertaining fight.
2114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: January 26, 2022, 10:45:05 PM
Yes if you hold for long term. At least three years than i can say Hold is gold. Don't put all investments in one coin. Split your portfolio with atleast 3 coins. If one coin does not perform well you can make profit from other two.

And what many forgets is holding the right thing! I had a discussion with a close friend about money... what he wishes more, to hold Euros or Bitcoins, he said Euros, it's safer for him! Even after all this time looking at crypto and seeing Bitcoin rise, he is still convinced that holding Euro is better than Bitcoin that can be worth a lot more than now in the future! I explained to him that his Euros will lose value due to inflation, which made him think, but he still likes Euros more than crypto!
So Hold is Gold, or it can be if you hold the right thing! But looks like for many people it's hard to see what is the right thing!
Your friend is really convinced that Holding Euro is safe but in the sense of market inflation, he got it wrong. But of course, we can't force people to believe what we think about holding crypto as it is to understand the risk in doing this. However, if we do the right thing like investing the best/right coins and holding it, that possibly gives us rewards. But if not, we just waste our time holding shitcoins...
2115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: January 26, 2022, 10:09:33 PM
The most important thing is the will of yourself, if we are interested and determined to learn it then we will do various ways to learn it. can learn through youtube or the web that is related to trading because now there are lots of websites or youtube channels that we can follow to better understand the world of trading. what is certain is that if we enter the world of trading, we must prepare mentally so that when we experience defeat we are not shocked and depressed, but use it as future learning.
Yes, you can use those helpful tutorials.

But, there's a precaution and you shouldn't be reliant to all of those videos. You might end up badly if you're too dependent on it. Will isn't enough, you need to be wise as you trade.

Taking loss is normal.

But not learning from them isn't worth it and that's why for each loss you make, apply and try to see what can you gain from that loss.
And as we care about losing, the more we care about learning how to trade. it can't be possible as long as we are too aggressive to learn and apply those learnings to actual. It simply makes no sense if don't do it and most especially if we don't correct those mistakes as surely it is the same story to see in the end.

Leaning isn't instant, that is normal but this is a continuous process. Learning while doing.
2116  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - ROAD TO 8,000$ - speculation on: January 26, 2022, 09:26:01 PM
I think everyone who is on this forum understands that such a price is no longer possible. There will be no more discounts for such an attraction. The fact that the uncertain state of the market is normal now and many are already used to the fact that there is no stability here.So I can tell you one thing don't despair everything will be fine)
I would rather say it's unlikely to happen, but "not possible", that's something I don't believe because in the first place the market is very unpredictable. Have you forgotten what happened during the last bull run, bitcoin almost hit $20k and the price still dump at $3k level. So there's really no assurance of the price that we just want to see because as I've said, the market is very unpredictable.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: January 26, 2022, 08:57:22 PM
Much better if we have a poll here? Just saying.

That's right, a poll would tell us what's the pulse of the majority, and I think this fight, we have no heavy favorite or the vote could be an opposite of what the bookies are telling. This would be happening in less than a month and the odds are already available in our bookies, so it's nice to know early what everyone thinks about this fight.
2118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: January 25, 2022, 11:21:03 PM
Frankly saying don't have much faith in altcoins as most of them will not give any returns in the long run.
But at least we are seeing some altcoins are still profitable and that is why I still have faith in them.
Quote
There will be many in the market and slowly you will see them lying dead inside your wallets. But there are few who have strong project development and use case like SOL is one coin which seems good and promising to me but the fact is network instability as it's down three to four times till date which is major drawback for it but still there are other factors that will boost the prices.
Shitcoins and meme coins are hopeless, they can be soon going to die and only projects that have a working product will able to survive. But despite this thing, I'd still make my way to trust and invest some of the altcoins. I invest in BNB, ETH, and Sol, and I think I was right choosing them knowing that these projects have grown and seen more development happen last year.

Anyways, I was looking forward to seeing the market back to green again and seeing this year still be a healthy market.
2119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: January 25, 2022, 10:40:19 PM
Starting from this principle that you name from Facebook, I don't see it as a bubble or a simple fad either, I think the metaverses are here to stay, obviously this will be a world where there will be freedoms that cannot be executed in real life, however the metaverses they are so ingrained in us, that without having come out in their entirety we are already needing it, a common example is the NFT games in the metaverses, the networks that will be most sought after are the cheapest for their fees, so not only in any eventuality metaverses can be used but in game development and others.

Metaverses is a new hype, which, using the example of some projects, has shown that people are interested in it and therefore in the future it will gain mass character. I don’t think that the metaverse is a bubble that will burst soon, I think that an alternative reality will be to the liking of many. If people there buy land and property for cryptocurrency, then they will not refuse it so easily.
It is very common to see hypes when another set of projects comes in the market like Defi, NFTs and expecting this will also happen to metaverse someday. And yes, we can't decline any chances that it becomes a bubble, some projects in hyped just burst a few months after and this could be the scenario to see for the metaverse. That is why it was too risky to investment projects that are hyped, not ideal for long-term investment, honestly.
2120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 25, 2022, 01:33:38 PM

Cleveland against the Knicks, I will put my money on Cavs -5.5.

i go with Knicks ML because its destiny in my opinion

Destiny for them to lose, lol. bad pick man, better luck next time. If you get the handicap, you could have won the game, but like I said, better luck next time, I hope you'll win.
