You miss the point.  The dev right now is controlling this coin.  He's the one that implemented 8 sec block times.  Like it or not a coin will not succeed with a bad developer.  His recent behaviour and decisions are really hurting this coin.

Who wants 8 second blocks?  The dev is the one that chose it.  It leaves the coin open to double-spend attacks.  He refuses to even discuss the matter. Try to stop being a Yes Man and engage your brain next time.

There's no point mate.  This guy is just too retarded to even realise the problem exists.  When you have someone like this controlling a coin it is insane to invest in it.  If the price magically got to a decent level you would constantly have to worry about him making a stupid comment and trashing the price.  It's just not worth it.

Are you saying you want the coin to go below a $40K market cap?  What does "I will not alter the coin to accommodate a steady price this low" actually mean.  Are you saying you want the price to go higher?  The current production model is pushing the price down so if you are unwilling to change anything then that would suggest you are accommodating a low price.  Some clarity would be nice.

OK but the double-spend issue.  How can it be prevented?  I have to admit this kind of stuff is beyond my level - I understand the basic concept but is there any way to prevent the increased risk that comes from having such a short block time?  Also could the difficulty not be further adjusted in order to make mining more difficult?  If people are dumping really cheaply, then it suggests that it is currently too easy to mine.

Exactly when the dev acts like a spoilt teenager it really doesn't inspire confidence.  Anyway lets move beyond this.  It is in the interests of both you and the dev to work together since you have the largest amount of coins so stand to make the biggest loss.  There needs to be a solution to the doublespend issue.

No that was me.  I was just buying back what I sold (unfortunately at a higher price).  I suppose the lesson is not to sell in uncertainty.  You could certainly have handled this better but I apologise for making things worse..  Also for the long term the issue of coins being dumped needs to be handled.  Since you were not the one dumping this only proves that too many coins are being mined.  Also the double-spend issue with 8 second block times is a major concern.

Quite dead.  The dev has requested someone to make a double spend attack on the coin because he is too stupid to understand the risks of an 8 second block time.  Apparently the attack was imminent (although now it probably won't happen as the coin is worthless).  Through his actions the dev has shown he had not intent to have a long term coin.  He was just mining and dumping coins on CCEX.  There's no way for this to come back now.

I suspected the dump is coming from the dev himself.  Why else would he be so interested in continuing on the current course?  It is obvious that he is the one that is profiting at everyone else's expense.
