2141  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New Ivy Bridge processors available to buy! on: May 01, 2012, 04:34:04 AM
Does anyone International (non-US) folks want any of these for US prices? I can buy one to forward to you for exact cost you see linked in the first post, + $5 shipping for just the Chip, or $10-$15 for the sealed retail box with stock fan. Luckily for us here in the US, I think it's cheaper than any other countries  Cheesy

I sure am interested. However what keeps you from just scamming my hard earned btc/usd?
I could pull the trigger for one of those 3770s right now, if I'd know I'd actually get it.
I've had over 50 transactions, mostly from making custom cables. But even before that, I've had about a dozen large transactions with people on here. Recently also just shipped out several large packges worth a few hundred. I can give you names of people from the more recent transactions.

2144  Economy / Goods / Re: Amazon gift cards on: April 25, 2012, 05:55:44 AM
Just curious, what's the incentive if it costs more in BTC than face value (since it'll take an extra 1 BTC), when there are a few people on here selling them for less than face value? Any reason for me to risk being scammed instead of just buying it at exactly face value with my own credit card?

GPU's have been sold on Amazon.  Grin
Wow just curious, did you get your whole asking price for it?
2146  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] 5830 and 5770 fan replacements on: April 24, 2012, 05:06:51 AM
I've searched for a while for this specific sapphire fan since it's not a reference fan, and there are no replacements fans you can buy. Sapphire does not allow you to RMA only the fan, you'll have to send in the whole video card.

If I'm able to source one out, I'll let you know.

Looking for giftcards to newegg, let me know the GC value and how many BTC you want for it.

Ah looks like powered extension cables are starting to be mainstream now, that's good to hear. Here was one of the last batches I made for people. It takes roughly 20-30 minutes each:

2150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: mtgox email change policy on: April 11, 2012, 03:00:19 AM
In case any of you are still wondering, the policy that wasn't explicitly stated is no money/BTC is allowed to be withdrawn within 24 hours of an email (or possible other info) changes. Here are their exact words:

Quote
Mt.Gox Support, Apr 10 15:10 (JST):

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, the hold is for 24 hours after changing your email address for security reasons. Please wait 3 more hours until your hold is lifted from our system. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Thanks,

MtGox.com Team
2151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: mtgox email change policy on: April 09, 2012, 11:39:18 PM
Yes, if I knew that if I changed anything on my account that it would lock up all my funds, then I would have made the transactions first, then changed my info. Mtgox, can you at least tell me how long my funds are locked up?
2152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has everyone received their tradehill balance and/or history? on: April 09, 2012, 09:31:17 PM
I still need my funds too. Only response I basically got was tradehill was working their hardest to get my money back.
2153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: mtgox email change policy on: April 09, 2012, 08:23:57 PM
No, they did not tell me that if my email was changed, it would delay any withdrawings. And after I changed my email, I also did not get any notifications so I can't even confirm that I'm truly the owner of the emails/accounts. There was also no mentions of how long I'd have to wait. So basically I'm in the dark, hence I'm making this thread to ask those questions.
2154  Economy / Trading Discussion / mtgox email change policy on: April 09, 2012, 05:40:41 PM
I just changed my email address, and when I tried withdraw money via mtgox redeemable code, this is the error message I get:

Quote
The email address linked to your account has been changed recently. Please retry later.

How long do I have to wait until I can withdraw? I need to withdraw to pay someone right away. Why did it not send me an email confirmation to validate my email instead of forcing me to wait for an unknown amount of time?

XFX HD6870 1GB (with free Dirt3 game) - $140 AR @ newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150561

as far as I can tell, those cards are the exact same, except this one is smaller (8.66" x 4.4" x 1.5" vs 10.3" x 4.4" x 1.5"), says "AMD Advanced Parallel Processing Technology (APP)" in features while the other one does not, and is $10 cheaper instead of including Dirt

are there some other diff between the models?
You're right, thanks I'll add this to the OP. They're essentially the same, except for some few minor differences like size and cooler design.

I'll try to organize a more centralized way to post deals on hardware since I noticed this forum does not have a section for that.

XFX HD6870 $141 AR @ amazon

Patriot PYRO 120gb SSD - $105 AR @ Amazon, or $110 AR @ newegg

XFX HD6870 1GB (with free Dirt3 game) - $140 AR @ newegg

XFX HD6870 1GB (promo code HARDOCPX4X4B) - $130 AR @ newegg
2158  Economy / Goods / Re: DISCOUNT AMAZON CODES FOR SALE 20% DISCOUNT, not! on: April 07, 2012, 09:11:32 PM
Newdude, this post is directed to you only, in a public manner:

Looks like I was wrong about you, you are not a scammer that I made you out to be. I just panicked when you had my money and took back the codes you sold to me and gave them to someone else, so I didn't know what else to do except call you a scammer. The codes that you didn't take back however, worked perfectly fine, no problems with amazon reversing it from my amazon account. It looks like I jumped to conclusions too quick about this whole situation, so this is my public apology to you.

After several days of thoughts on this situation, I realized this whole drama is pointless. I will look past this whole situation now, so just let me know whenever you feel like refunding me. Hope there is no more bad blood between us.

2159  Economy / Goods / Re: DISCOUNT AMAZON CODES FOR SALE 20% DISCOUNT, not! on: April 06, 2012, 07:16:14 AM
Look, we've seen this before. Matthew made the same mistake that you are currently making when he made his account here. We don't care how terribly the other party is acting. He could be a serial killer for all we care. What matters is that you owe him money and you're not paying up. He will get what's coming to him next time he tries making a deal if you really do believe that he is mistreating you.
Maged, go read the actual quote of the convo I had with him HERE and you won't see one part where I was disrespectful. Worst I ever said was that I'm arguing with a rock. And now note how many times he went off to swear and curse at me, while still owing me GC codes or money. He ironically brought "respect" into this, and actually used that as an excuse to not give me what he owes.

He already admit he owes me, but will not give the refund or the GC codes. This guy's level of logical reasoning skills is not something I can argue with, it's pointless. Mods, please give him an ultimatum, there is nothing else I can do.
2160  Economy / Goods / Re: DISCOUNT AMAZON CODES FOR SALE 20% DISCOUNT, not! on: April 05, 2012, 08:07:51 PM
Because first of all, you need to learn respect.
Secondly, you came on here and said I ran with $1,000 of YOUR money, when in fact, all I owe you is $570.
NOW you come and say I owe you $570.
I will pay you when I pay you. I already said that.
1) Respect.... the worst thing I said to you was "this is really like trying to argue with a rock". Now go back to our email convo, and count how many times you went on rampage swearing at me. So in your head, I'm disrespectful, and that makes it perfectly ok to not give me the GC codes I already paid for, or a refund? Wow.

2) I said quote me where I said you ran with all $1000, and that you need to pay back all $1000. That's right, you couldn't find a quote, so instead you just repeat yourself.

3) So you're going to pay me back whenever you feel like it? A week? A month? Year? It's my money, I already said I don't want it held up like that. Apparently you get thousands of dollars paid by your "other" customers, so use that money to refund me. You also went to the bank a few days ago to deposit money for the refund, where is it?
