2141  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks going in stable coins news its starting now on: December 17, 2020, 04:59:05 PM
But I don't understand one thing :
The banks are thinking of using stable coins and many of them are 1:1 against USD so the value of these coins will change according to the market fluctuations. If they are going to use gold stable coin or something like that they will have to battle high inflation. This way they will have to change their policies in a way to battle all those things which would mean they will have to actually take years to make a change like this. I think they should start allowing the trading of stable coins and cryptocurrencies in the same section and then go onwards from that point.

At the same time if Stable-coins are regulated then how different will they be from governmental currencies like USD Huh

They need something which would be different then they have to allow cryptocurrencies like bitcoins, ETH , hold some stocks and make an analysis every month.

Plus all those security things it never works my parents had a huge amount of cash deposited in a bank 🏦 apparently the owner was convicted of fraud and he ran away and thus it's just like and everyone lost their money. But when cryptocurrencies were banned in India I had some coins in a wallet , so they messaged me and asked me to move it from some other wallet or sell and even though I did that after 1 month or so , they never blocked the account or anything.
2142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful at this BITCOIN price point on: December 17, 2020, 04:09:01 PM
Hi
I did loose a lost in 2017 when I decided to save my bitcoins and had to encash in emergency back when the price went down. If I would have encashed and brought in January - Feb , it would have been more then amazing to see the gains in 2020. This is what I always think. There is always going to be a regret on what you must have done and what you should do but at the end of the day if you are intellegent enough you will either encash when the price is at its peak or you would either trade.
Someone told me that you should never buy when the price is climbing and this high but 😂 I do think I will try and use some of my savings for this indeed. See we don't know what's going to happen. Many investors , companies , firms , they are all trying to make the best use of these cryptocurrencies now a days and therefore the money has been pooling in so I do believe you should be very careful with whatever you are going to go since no one can know what's going to happen next. Literally no one ! At the same time we should always understand that bitcoins did drop 7% hours after reaching the all time high that means a number of people are now encashing and waiting for it to drop more. This is not scary but really exciting , if you play your cards right you can get a lot of profit.
2143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usefulness of Football Clubs Fan Token in the Soccer industry on: December 17, 2020, 03:23:38 PM
I think that once you have made your fan token Well known to the industry, you might have the chance to partner up with Binance and then list your tokens there for further profits for sure. I know that to get listed with Binance, you need to pay a large sum of BTC. The last time I read about it was around 7 to 10 BTC. I'm not sure about that one. Once the token has been listed, it will have real-world use. That's the point of them listing it. If they ever will.

Well I do think if they want to do that then they have to understand for a fact that :
These tokens need a lot of time and acceptance from the governmental bodies too and they would have to make people engage in it in a better way. But what I read was , they want to engage fans, reshape their favourite clubs and then then get some funds , raise some money and provide a lot of other side activities , which means that they are not so adamant on making the gambling their priority.
But right now it's just owned by some people who are regulars and maybe just want to support their fan clubs. I think instead of listing them there they can just provide a page on the main site where fans can go and buy it since they are for sure more well known. If fans are not buying them from their site I don't think the listing will be much popular on binance.
People have to understand that , these tokens are not cryptocurrencies ** so they don't have to follow the suit of them.
2144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽The Best FIFA Football Awards™ - every year the same procedure⚽ on: December 16, 2020, 04:53:02 PM
But as mentioned above... there is a lot of money involved in these things, so don't expect "the best" to be chosen
What do you mean by a lot of money is involved? I am quite intrigued by that sentence. Is there bribery involved, or something of similar fashion?

Regarding the best not being chosen, I do think that there are other factors that the committee are looking for when choosing who they want to award the title, maybe we are missing something but that is the hard truth about it, people's choice does not necessarily means that they are a guaranteed winner.

My bet on player on men will be Ronaldo and Becker for Goalkeeper.

Regarding the money being involved and the Corruption getting the best of this I do think that even if something like this is going to be there , the approach won't be that high , it's nothing like all of them will be Paid for in advance.

Let me mention a small source regarding this matter :
Quote
The 2015 arrests centre on the alleged use of bribery, fraud and money laundering to corrupt the issuing of media and marketing rights for FIFA games in the Americas, estimated at $150 million, including at least $110 million in bribes related to the Copa América Centenario to be hosted in 2016 in the United States.
taken from google

Even if you type the corruption in FIFA , you will get a lot of results.

But still I do think that if I had to bet on someone I would definitely choose Messi over Ronaldo any time. You can see his stats and his gameplay , he for sure deserves it !! I hope 🤞 even though the rumors about bribe and corruption might be true but truly deserving players get the awards.

Lewandovski is a good defense player but I don't think if we compare the overall stats he will rise too high ..
2145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin startup advertising on London Bus - still exciting to see on: December 16, 2020, 01:49:24 PM
Hello
Not only that , I was teaching kids from age 3-9 , apparently one kid was already taking a course on cryptocurrencies like bitcoins , I was actually shocked since he should be around 5-6 year old but at the same time he did know about bitcoins and cryptocurrencies as a whole. I think people are for sure taking bitcoins seriously. People like us who are on the form might be directly and indirectly teaching kids about crypto like bitcoins. What you did see was a very good example of **acceptance**, when a company reaches a status which is enough to put their advertising on the busses in London , this for sure attracts a lot of attention and would impact bitcoins positively.

Here some images I found on google ' company's name is Luno.

At the same time if someone is interested apparently we are not the only one to notice , there is a whole article on coindesk : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-exchanges-flood-londons-metro-with-adverts%3famp=1

At the same time it's not just Luno but coinfloor too doing such Campaigns.
2146  Economy / Economics / Re: Look like the crypto will be today what the stock market was 90s on: December 16, 2020, 04:05:27 AM
This is quite a reasonable statement considering how in the early 90's stocks were considered something out of the world for the old investors and therefore people who did involve with them were taken as fools. At the same time the irony was , more and more people were coming forward to invest in the same , I do believe this is the time with cryptocurrency now a days , people know about bitcoins , people need bitcoins , many of them , the success stories influence a lot of people to engage in it but at the same time the investors which are mainly focused on gold and real estate think about cryptocurrencies as something alien. They do believe it's not a right place to take part in. But I don't understand about your views regarding the cryptocurrencies going *10 times* up , I don't think this is going to happen at any cost. This is not reasonable since we have already succeed in maintaining such a good price but at the same time during pandemic this is the best bitcoins have to offer , we are soon approaching the holiday season and people will encash no doubt therefore 10 times is a far fetched dream that will happen in the future. But not right now for sure.

** Plus let's leave the claims for the speculation section and focus on the idea of similarities between crypto and stocks in the early days of acceptance, their struggle , the profits , the advertising and news , it's actually very interesting to compare though**
2147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blocked funds in a poker room on: December 15, 2020, 09:34:43 PM
There is no site which does close an account based on *inconsistency* at the same time I do believe that if their customer service is that bad I don't think that's a good site that you are involved with. At the same time why did you post this here so long afterwards. If you do want people to help you , you have to make sure that you state everything in particular, all the sites , the exact information and etc. You have to make sure to reach out as fast as you can when an issue like this happens , the more time you waste the worse it's going to be.
I read the other comments and found that you were using Bodog , as soon as I tried to access the site in my area , which is Europe , they did close my access and told me that they don't offer the services in my area.
Now let's look at the facts:
1. Inconsistency is not using VPN "
2. VPN if it's not listed in T&C they cannot block your account and therefore you have to make an effort and file a lawsuit
2.1 Inform the casino about it that you are going to do that and provide them with relevant SC and details so as why you are doing it
2.2 Go to the court and hire the lawyer , this can clearly be listed as a fraud if it's supposedly true
2.3 Make sure you go through with it since this is clearly a lot for money and thus you have to fight for it
2.4 you can also try and make a post in spam accusations and maybe someone did experience this thing like you and would be able to help.

Please make sure to make a post in **spam accusations** , I do believe this will get you more replies.
2148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing : Reymart Gaballo vs Emmanuel Rodriguez on December 19th on: December 15, 2020, 05:44:48 PM
I do think Reymart Gaballo has a good chance since the other player got back due to the COVID but at the same time even though he held the title back in 2018 , I do think that Emmanuel Rodriguez is going to win this time. He does have a lot to loose since he has a chance after a long time now. But at the same time Gaballo is going to prove a super fierce opponent since is winning streak is kind of very good.
I recognize Reymart Gaballo as a boxer who is very good at taking advantage of his opponent's situation. very reliable .. but on this occasion I will support Emmanuel Rodriguez. The reason is, he will have the passion and confidence to overthrow Reymart in the boxing ring on December 19. despite Emmanuel's accomplishments as the IBF Bantamweight Boxing Champion. will not be a hindrance in her ambition to defeat Reymart.

Reymart Gaballo will have the same passion and even more he is knocking out his opponent and throwing a lot of haymaker, he is a bully in the ring Rodriguez but if he cannot counter punch Gaballo he is in big trouble, if Gaballo can take his punch then Rodriguez will be in big trouble.

Both have their own reasons regarding the fight , both of them are literally on like , one have to maintain his streak and one have to show the world that he is still worthy of being the champion therefore I do believe that there is not any less passion in any player , I do believe it's more or less our personal opinion now but in some days we can see who will win.

This is going to be a super close call and a really risky if someone is going to gamble on the fight. With such a close call it would be fun seeing who wins.
2149  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: December 14, 2020, 03:49:57 PM
Hello
I am a firm believer that you should not use loans to invest in BTC. What is the price went down and you had to pay it tomorrow?? But you cannot sell because at the end of the day the price is going to improve and you know it, so you just wait and keep paying the interest and at the end when you do sell it for real , you already did pay a lot of interest and the profit you made becomes even smaller.
You do need a good strategy, luck and a lot of credits for it. Even though many governmental bodies are offering loans for as low as 0% I do believe that they are going to ask you how you will use it ? When will you return ? Things like these and even if by chance you told them that you are just going to invest it in bitcoins I don't think they will be so happy giving you the loan. If you can get in 0% best of luck, but be careful.
Another thing , some credit cards have 0% loan strategy for the people so more or so people use them to secure loans and invest in bitcoins but at the end it doesn't end very well always. You should also take that into consideration if you are going to do that.
Plus *" Trading"* 1-3% everyday? It's something only super experienced and super successful people are able to do. You can never be sure of trading....
2150  Economy / Economics / Re: IF USDT would collapse what do you think will happen to the BTC price? on: December 14, 2020, 10:52:08 AM
It will ofcourse have a negative impact but at the same time: "not long lasting"
People who want to engage in BTC would do that through other methods, they will soon find replacement, at the same time we do have a lot of options now one can just find out which one works for them.
I won't be surprised if tether crashed at this time because if I remember correctly, it's not just backed by usd but also the loans from companies etc.. therefore during the pandemic there might be higher chances of it happening.

Explore your options, it is not the only pair.

Plus I do believe that if tether decreased in price drastically people would need some sort of investment to hold onto, btc would be ideal now so thus in few days it would balance the crash out.
2151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself from Hyperinflation with DAI on: December 14, 2020, 10:16:40 AM
DIA is pegged 1:1 against the USD. Right now most of the topics on the economic section are about USD might fall due to massive stimulus and overprinting of the money and I do believe that if you are buying a decentralized currency pegged against USD 1:1 and if you think about it rationally , If it is going to be used in a particular area the government is sure to make rules and regulations for it this make it more or so centralized, inflation is something it will mirror because it's going to go just like USD. Plus why not just buy USD ? Or even better but BTC and trade them in BTC-USD pairs ! Plus you are going to earn more if you do trade those BTC in your local currency.
Stable coins are good but at the same time I do think they are just decentralized copies of their real world counterpart which makes them non Volatile , not good for trading and when we talk about stable-coins like GOLD one why is this one better ?? Sometimes inflation is positive , you do want your investment to grow , for the security you can just get fiat.
**Inflation is healthy** not hyperinflation ofcourse but I do believe you get my point.
2152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin has not been able to hit $20k price in 2020? on: December 14, 2020, 02:37:25 AM
Aren't we forgetting something?
we are in the middle of a pandemic

The market is down , stocks trading is clearly dying, people are waiting for the market to go up , investments are either on the waiting list or are victims of huge Inflation.

If bitcoins did maintain a healthy price and was able to even touch near 20,000 , this was actually a truly wonderful and fortune move for the crypto and the whole market. Instead of thinking about the price not being able to touch 20,000 , I do believe we should appreciate the market for it's stability that it has shown in 2020 and supported numerous families and even charity events.

Even if it does not hit 20,000 , it's providing people with employment,  source of income, investment , safe heaven ,   method of payment and what not , it's something that personally saved me and my family from the pandemic in 2020.
2153  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fury vs Joshua --- who will win? on: December 14, 2020, 12:39:12 AM
I got Fury to win this mega Fight, he has beaten better boxers compared to Joshua, so he is likely to win in this fight IMO.

With respect to Joshua, he is also a tough guy but as a fan who are predicting an outcome of the fight, we usually based on the past fights and I've seen Fury had proven enough to be the best in the heavyweight.

If Fury wins, Fury rules, he is the best... but are you guys interested to see a Wilder vs Joshua fight?

I think this is the only chance Wilder will be able to recover his popularity in boxing and might make some good money here.

See the thing is I do believe that Anthony will win this time , even though fury seems to be the guy which people are hyper about I kind of think that this time might have a different winner.
This has been trending since days and I remember one headline mentioning how people are thinking that this fight can take days to complete 😂 , what do you guys think about it ?
Plus fury is kind of very adamant that he will supposedly take down joshua , he posted on his social media about it too , go to his instagram and check how he stated that he will 😅 apparently spank joshua how he did with other people , it's funny though.

Both are deserving opponents and fury is certainly the one who might be the winner but more often than ever things never turn out to be that simple so for me it's joshua.
2154  Other / Off-topic / Betting on Horse Racing, Ethical or no ? on: December 13, 2020, 09:08:25 PM
Hello guys so just recently I came across an article which had a lot of stuff to say about the betting on horse racing and trust me when I say that *I was horrified beyond words*. I do believe it's my moral duty to share the article and the reality of horse racing.
Let's start with the source link : https://olivethompson.medium.com/you-bet-they-die-the-ugly-truth-of-horse-racing-afe74f9368ff

In the past I did Believe that the horses were taken good care of , well it was actually portrayed in that way , the beautiful clothes and amazing food they were given everyday. But unfortunately betting on horse racing is supporting animal abuse since :
1. Most of these horses are taken for training from an early age , some of the die , annually 750 and many of them as much as 10,000 are sent to slaughter houses.
2. The horses are drugged and mistreated
Quote
PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) cites that 24 horses will suffer a fatal breakdown during racing every week. This does not even take into account the number of horses that sustain injuries that they will still be forced to perform with, nor the amount of horses that acquire abusive treatment that does not get noticed by activists, other trainers or the public.

Unfortunately horse racing is something that government won't make illegal since it goes bring a lot of revenue. But we can change things : asking these companies for the ethical treatment of animals , not overcrowding the training grounds so that the animals are not disposed of , drugs, mental abuse and physical abuse should be made illegal. Things like these have to be done.
Next time you participate in the horse racing event you have to make sure to see the state they are being kept , if you do suspect something bad , I do believe social media is something though which you can actually reach millions of people.

For the companies who are involved in the horse racing , I urge you guys go please look into the article and take into consideration if our betting , your profits , the government taxes are not being payed on the dead carcasses of the animals who did not sign up for this.

**This topic is self moderated , please do share your points but please don't give me an excuse to report your comments or delete them , these things should be taken seriously , our games should not harm anyone and I believe this article is something I had to share so that we can try and spread information about positive changes in this industry**

Thank you
2155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usefulness of Football Clubs Fan Token in the Soccer industry on: December 13, 2020, 02:51:06 PM
Most of these clubs are using these tokens to :
Engage more people and raise more funds
These tokens might promise a lot of things but when it comes to it I do not think they would go that far as to engage people in the decision making, this could mean that these players might hold the key to influence the market negatively and cause problems. I did see a lot of posts about the tokens but I did not indulge in one. I do believe this is just a new marketing strategy.
The only thing that is worth it would be : the rewards that one player might get , I read in a website that they might even get to meet their favourite players.
But overall it's : positive since they are causing more engagement
But at the same time don't believe everything they say , it at most is half true and that is I believe enough enjoyment for some fans , so if you are a high better you should look into the reward system , undoubtedly.
2156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where can I bet on who win on NBA? & can we also bet on other sports? on: December 13, 2020, 11:09:15 AM
Hello
I do think that you might be new to gambling therefore this question. When we are talking about betting it's very important to understand the fact that we have numerous websites here offering what you are looking for.
1. Check out the gambling section
2. Check out the sports book
3. See the reviews
4. Try the websites and you can even look for website's Christmas bonus
I guess you should learn actual betting on a sportsbook here in the crypto space, we have a lot of bookies here.

just go to the gambling section and try to read comments on their ANN thread.
Check here ; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

the sites that I'm using are

1-betbtc
2-sportsbet
3-nitrogensports
4-sportsbet
5-betnomi.
6-stake

just choose or maybe try them all if you want.
This guy already listed the one's you can start with. Please be responsible and careful. There are new sites added every day and you can even find their announcements.

There's a lot of NBA forums online, not only in bitcoin, but if you are looking for some sharing of bets, you can check on my thread.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091185.3540;topicseen

Also, if you haven't read the NBA thread in the gambling section, here's the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1220979.0

Yes this thread is really good since we have a lot of players engaging and talking it's amazing but I do think if you want to bet on NBA and such try these official websites first and then you can look into the thread what the players might be thinking and such. What they will be betting ? Etc... Their opinions and the discussion is open for everyone so you should try joining there too.

Best of luck 👍
2157  Other / Off-topic / Re: Instutions Invest in bitcoin real reason on: December 13, 2020, 12:52:19 AM
I do believe that the real reason why the institutions invest money in bitcoins is because the government is crumbling during the pandemic and inflation is rising drastically, they do want a safe investment so that if something bad happens they can have at least support from somewhere

At the same time industries and businesses should be flexible, if they don't adopt these new technologies they will be left behind sooner or later and therefore this would cause major problems for them in the long run.

Now what they have though bitcoins is :
Safety
Investment
They are in par with the new technologies so have better chances of surviving in the long run.

This is really good what you did right now , since we have a lot of people who might just directly search on the Google instead of going to the real website through the bookmarks or even the signatures. At least this time hackers tried to go through th effort of replicating the whole site , I found something weird on the internet also

This is really weird , the website is from Germany and apparently registered in panama , wait till you see their email address.

Now the problem is , apparently this website paid for their advertising, therefore they show up at the top whenever you try and search the normal website on google.

Now they are not actually the gaming website but they are trying to get clients through the name bustabit , when you open they have named their website bustta bit ... That's really funny for me , much like adidas and abibas ...

Now I don't know if things like these are allowed.

Much like :

But even though this is not gambling related website they are trying to use company's name.. that's sad tho , is this allowed ??
2159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "The Great Reset" on: December 12, 2020, 06:00:18 PM
This is weird , I really haven't read about it yet. But why China ? Don't they know already that China wants to dominate the market ? Giving the whole hashrate to China might be a cause of concern, the reason why bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are secure is because it's distributed over the entire world and this can ruin the whole thing. Maybe the mining farms can actually think about going green instead of loosing their business and how do they plan on compensating them? I do not think this particularly will happen since this would mean we are going towards a suicidal plan. Right now I do believe that every country do have their own plus points when it comes to green energy, but it's not used certainly and the effective cost generally nullifies in few years since you would continue to generate electricity for free.
Rest global warming needs to be addressed no doubt and in some years bitcoin mining will be reduced drastically, after the whole amount has been mined. But we still need to step up green measures for that time.
2160  Economy / Economics / Re: I discovered something Good best safe heaven assets best performance on: December 12, 2020, 04:19:52 PM
The problem is not with Euro or Dollar value as a currency, the problem is ;
1. The freedom is superficial , people don't actually have the ability to protect their currencies , you will have to keep a certain amount in the banks for sure since this would be much safer and of due to any reason the bank account got blocked there is nothing that can be done then.
2. You can never know what will happen if pandemic or any economic crisis strikes.
3. You cannot make hefty profits by trading in them
4. Keeping your money in wallet is never a safe option , just some amount is good but unfortunately we don't live in an ideal world
5. Government tracks your expenses, spends , taxes , returns , everything which is not at all ideal.

Cryptocurrencies are not here to replace fiat , they are here to provide people freedom to make their on decisions in the financial sectors.
