2141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's never too late to start on: January 14, 2022, 02:08:49 PM
I have always say it is never late to start anything . When ever you think is the best time just start with good zeal and full preparation  and readiness . Starting with a good dedication and being focus is what matters. Been equipped when Starting is the best well to start  , Starting without learning and having knowledge can be a waste of time.
Well, all we can do is to put trust in our investment and has to believe that someday it will grow and make some profit. Because in the first place, only a few people had trusted Bitcoin and even take risk of it but they do and proved they are right doing such a decision.

Imagine, if we did an investment last year, we even make a double this time, and much more during the ATH. But things can be realize after we had fail and this become common  and many people strated blaming themselves for not knowing and trusting Bitcoin before.
2142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 14, 2022, 12:11:53 PM

They are trying their best to win on the road though, but they are going to face the #1 seed in the West in their next game so it will be a difficult game for sure.
What source of schedule did you check? I think they will be playing the Wolves on the road again. If Green will return then I think they'll likely win. It's a great spot for bettors because the Warriors will not be losing 3 in a row, that's so embarrassing for a considered championship team.
2143  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: bitcoin wallets on: January 14, 2022, 11:19:48 AM
It's hard to make a guess on which site you probably bought your bitcoin as there are plenty of online crypto wallets or sites in the past that maybe non-existent anymore now. Maybe check your email and go through the messages receive so you'll get an idea.

So if we really are talking of 2010 purchase ( considering you'll recover your btc), let's use this estimate of price.

Quote
Bitcoin first made its debut for trading at the beginning of July 2010 at a price of $0.0008 per token
source : https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/11/16/invested-100-in-bitcoin-in-july-2010-how-much-now/

That would be 5 euros convered to usd, round off to $6.. so 6$ /$0.0008 per btc, that's a whopping 7,500 BTC... so man you are so rich if you'll recover that BTC. Good luck!
2144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bots on: January 14, 2022, 11:11:29 AM
Maybe I could say that trading bot is also good but have to accept that this is not meant for everyone.

Of course, because it cannot make everyone profitable, also, if you subscribe to a crypto bot, you have to pay for the premium and the amount varies depending on how popular the trading bot is. Before, I believe there's a lot of trading bot being introduce to the market, but now, it seems like they are gone because maybe people have realize that trading bot does not work in the long run.
2145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 13, 2022, 11:11:57 PM
What catch up do you mean? Like reaching the same price level? Is that what you mean?
I think that is what OP had meant for. But actually, OP had forgotten that volatility of the market that makes it more than 100% possible to come, only it won't be instant.

Quote
Afaik, most altcoins would follow the Bitcoin price trend and no one knows of when will the altcoins season that most of you wanted to know would occur. It just happens when we least expect it, although it looks like whales are doing it for an obvious reason they will need some profit.

If Bitcoin would break another ATH next month then that's the right time that you are waiting for the pump of most altcoins. I do hope so it will pump next month.
I suppose to think that bullish will come this 1st quarter. The recovery had even started, not that fast but as if this will continue, 2-3 months we probably reach $60k again. Maybe I was too optimistic but that is how a feel and I hope I was right with my prediction.

So taking advantage of the market now seems to be a good idea.
2146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to buy and hold on: January 13, 2022, 10:49:25 PM
I don't know about you but for me I will only hold coins for long term if we see a unforgiving bear market ( better buying opportunity ), I believe bear market hold the key to long term holding, I can't buy coins at high price sorry ( present market is buying at high price) and decide to hold for years, I will only buy now to sell later ( short term ).. stupid idea? Let's hear your thoughts
Just like you did, I HOLD but of course, I sell some. Maybe I don't have strong hands to hold forever but doesn't matter because the most important is that I invest in crypto and certainly, I don't miss the chance to sell during the bullish season.

It has to understand that not all people wanted to hold long-term but often short-term. I'm in that situation as I'd see that it was more profitable than I make a buy and sell than just to hold for many years. I know that people will disagree with that but since it works for me, I continue doing it.
2147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 13, 2022, 01:09:15 PM

Good luck to us, we are riding on the same team, hopefully, it's not just a trap where we regret after this game.

I think the Bulls against Nets would be a consensus here, If there's anything I would avoid like a plague right now, that'd be betting on the Nets, I think I learned my lessons a few days ago against the Blazers.

I'm on the Bulls -2.5

GL!

Yeah, looks like everyone are on the same side.

Kyrie Irving is questionable, but if he will play I think the Bulls will be just fine.
https://www.si.com/fannation/nba/fastbreak/news/the-nets-will-play-their-next-road-game-on-wednesday-evening-in-illinois-against-the-chicago-bulls

Just updating this pick. ..

We ride on the same team and we experience the same loss. Bad game for the Bulls, they didn't even give a tough game against the Nets when they are on the home-court advantage. The 3rd quarter was a game changer for the Nets, they lead by 20 points and that's enough for the Bulls to lose the game.
2148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 13, 2022, 12:34:32 PM
I think folks should just accept that Lakers are not winning the Championship this season. What the lakers should be doing is playing awesome defense and slowing the game down so they can win in the half court. Lebron's offense for another day is elite and his defense for another day is very bad. And you can't blame him of course, he is playing the right way because he can't give you his energy for defense and then can't be elite offenser. Defense takes away a lot from you, much more from anything in the floor. That's why the bests scorer's aren't good in defense.
Unless...
Trade season is still open, they can change their roster if they like. I believe Austin Reaves is their real future and I won't exchange this guy for anyone.
Just witnessing how he hustled for two consecutive games makes me wonder why they are not giving him more minutes. Let him be a starter, let the phase run thru him with speed and to drag everyone in that Lakers team in his defensive aggressiveness. He is like Covid, contagious. He can easily make the team and the fans go wild with all his hustle plays.
Him and Dwight Howard combined makes a strong defensive line.

It's because there are really a lot of good players in their roster that it's hard to put a rotation.

Dwight Howard is a good example, he has been playing awesome basketball, points, rebounds, block shots, but he is not be given enough time to play. At least bring him to like 30 minutes per game, I think that is good enough for his body at his age. Maybe it was really the coach who is the problem in the Lakers and not the players itself.

If the coach is the problem then he could have been fired already. The management respects him as he brought a championship with the Lakers, so I think he will be given a chance to prove himself and if the Lakers will not succeed, they might trade or acquire other players but the coach will remain unless Lebron will influence the management to fire the coach.

Congratulations mate, you made the right decision, trust and invest in bitcoin. I have already built a house because of my earnings from bitcoin but I'm not gonna share it here as I'm a very private person, I value anonymity even my things or accomplishment. I'm happy for you, I hope to see more and more people investing in bitcoin for their future, maybe 10 years from now you can turn your house into a mansion, who knows,
2150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the safest of the 'safest ways' to store Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2022, 11:27:27 PM
There's no safest way to store bitcoin, any means of storage is already safe. The only problem is the people, because what's the use of a good security if you blabber about your credentials to many people. I stand by that belief that people should be the most responsible in their own security and that they put the safety of their bitcoins into action. That's why it's important to learn digital security now more than ever with everything going digital, I think that it's best course or if not then you can probably limit the technology in your house connected to the Internet.
At the moment we use the internet to access our wallets and do some online transactions that bring risks and vulnerability to any form of attacks. That is why we can't find such thing as "The safest way". Hackers will attack us sometimes become unnoticed that can't be detected until the moment that we check our wallet that it was empty already.
What we gonna do is to keep away from accessing untrusted sites, clicking links sends via email, or anything that looks suspicious as this might be lead the scammers to get in and take control of our keys.
2151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 12, 2022, 09:49:16 PM
It's not just the homecourt advantage, but the Bulls are in full strength right now with no one reported in injuries list or under the health and safe protocol.

So I agree with either ML or handicap bet at -1.5 for the Bulls. The Nets have lost what? 5 of their last 7 games? But the Bulls, if not for their lost last to Mavericks, they could be still on their own winning streak.

With their very dominant win in their previous game, I would not hesitate to put a bet on the Bulls as well. the only reason why they are not the heavy favorite is because the Nets are still looking to be the best team in the East now, so it's time for the Bulls to prove that they deserve the number 1 spot.

There's no doubt that the Nets now is also a solid team, but as a matter of fact, they are quite busy right now proving their worth in the league despite having only 2 active players on the supposed big 3. While the Bulls don't have any problem at all in their roster and they're listed on the #1 spot for a reason. So might as well put a bet on the Bulls with a handicap bet of -2 as they can cover that small spread even if it were a close game.

Good luck to us, we are riding on the same team, hopefully, it's not just a trap where we regret after this game.

2152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 12, 2022, 09:27:48 PM
Quite surprised to see how huge Magsayo is as an underdog against Russell. Do the sport bookies didn't consider Mark's record and experience + Russell long lay off?

But this is a great opportunity for those bettors who love underdogs. Definitely Mark Magsayo can fight and expect this to be a good fight.
Taking into account the odds we are seeing for Magsayo I think it is clear that bookies do not think it is such a huge issue that Russell has taken so much time away from boxing and they do not think that his skills have rusted, or they think that despite that factor Russell is so above Magsayo that those odds are justified, however if you think the odds for Magsayo to win the fight are wrong then this seems like the perfect moment to take a bet on his favor.

That's why Magsayo's odds here are undervalued, bookies doesn't care though, and it's not what they think but it's what the majority of the fans are thinking right now. Not everyone knows Magsayo for sure so they think he is just nobody to challenge the champion, with that, we can take advantage betting on the underdog here.
2153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: January 12, 2022, 02:52:23 PM
Tron has always lost out to Dogecoin because of the huge dogecoin community, tron must immediately realize this if it wants to compete with Dogecoin. I feel like tron is a good network project just less growing and has a little community.
Wait until Elon will hype TRON, it's not actually about the community it's about who will start the hype. Prior to the hype where DOGE had significantly pump, it was almost worthless but TRON was at the top of the competition but now DOGE overtake TRON already but it does not guarantee anything that it will stay that way, it always depends on the devs on how they'll stay in the competition.
2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What if these online gambling license issuers are also active here. on: January 12, 2022, 01:50:06 PM
If they would choose to have one, then that would be helpful to us gamblers.

Though they cannot decide right away as regulators always based their judgment on a legal basis, and sometimes complainant here does not purpose a legal action as we all know it could be a waste of time only especially if the amount involve is not that huge.
2155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 12, 2022, 12:56:12 PM
But yeah, if Simmons + Harris is traded to Atlanta so be it, Collins has gone to the public that he is not happy with his role right now wit the Hawks so come Jan 15, we will find out if the trade has push through.
Let's wait for that particular time so we will know if Simmons will be move from his current team. He is just a floating employee where he is not doing anything and that's not good for his career. Collins is like in the situation of Leonard before with the Spurs, he is not happy, so he should be move/traded.

2157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can i detect new growing altcoins ? on: January 11, 2022, 11:33:06 PM
I started investing in crypto since november 2021, and everytime I open CoinMarketCap i notice that there's a lot of new coins with at least +110% profit if you bought it the last 24h, and I was wondering if i can detect them before they grow up very fast in order make a lot in a short time. Thank you  Grin

You must have to monitor the market and often visit https://coinmarketcap.com/ for you to be aware of the current market flow. If you have done this the more you were aware of the situation and might not miss the chance. That was time-consuming on your end but you have the reason as well that is why you have to do it, otherwise.

But I think, you should have to stop thinking about instant returns, you can't get that one if you are not working hard. You'd rather spend more time in the market and learn more.
2158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying right now? on: January 10, 2022, 11:54:59 PM
In the decline in the price of bitcoin this time, many choices of altcoins whose prices are also in decline. But we have to be careful which coins will quickly recover when the market goes go up. Everyone has their own experience of this. In addition to Bitcoin I chose BNB and ADA. They can survive when the market bears and recover quickly.
Many investors are diversifying their portfolio once seeing the price of Bitcoin go down, they choose altcoins instead of keeping and buying more BTC. But I don't think it was a bad idea, we can't just deny that many altcoins are much more profitable compared to Bitcoin like those projects that seem to be in hype (x100, x1000), that might be possible, however, the risk is too high and that only for short-term investment.

Well, making a chance to buy during these corrections is a huge opportunity for us. Choosing the top 20 coins are seems to be ideal.
2159  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CAN YOUR BITCOIN BE STOLEN ? on: January 09, 2022, 11:10:27 PM
Without exposure of your private keys, can your bitcoin be stolen ?
With the use of the internet, it was easy for the hackers to get rid of our Bitcoin when we are too careless in saving our private keys, passwords. We could ask how to make it safe 100%? Well, there is nothing to have that 100% assurance but if we keep them on the hardware's wallet, that seems better.

That is why most of the members advise you not to mishandle your keys and never let other people even touch your computer. If we value more our private keys and our Bitcoin then we should protect them as long as we can.
2160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 07, 2022, 09:08:40 PM
Unfortunately, there are still no updates on the fight. And maybe yes, both parties are negotiating another venue and hopefully it will be in the US as we all know that it is where the money is as far as live gates and PPV and I think this will go on a PPV as this is a championship fight.
I guess the promoter is just making sure that Casimero is 100% recovered already when they set the fight date. No schedule yet but I'm optimistic it will not take long for this fight to finally realize, I'm guessing that we will see it before April this year.

Quote
So just wait boxing fans, I know that everyone is excited to see Casimero in the ring again and hopefully retains his belt so that a Inoue class is imminent.
I hope Inoue is excited too,  Smiley.. unfortunately, his statement doesn't look like he is waiting for Casimero, I'm not sure this fight will happen when the beast will chicken out.
