Bucks just destroyed GSW last night for sure. They got a huge 118-99 win home and they really deserved this one. Bucks were just perfect especially in the first two quarters. I really didn't like Curry's performance. He was like terrible. I don't criticise Klay Thompson yet as he has newly bounced back from a long-lasting injury. But I hope to see Curry and Thompson starting to put on a great show.
I think it will take some time before the splash brothers will find their chemistry. They have been practicing together but real games are entirely different. As we can see in the stats, Klay Thompson's shooting is very bad same with Stephen Curry, when these two will struggle, then most likely the team will lose.

And also missing Green's services as well, he is a part of the core of GSW so even if Klay is playing already, somewhat there's a vacuum that Green left.

They are trying their best to win on the road though, but they are going to face the #1 seed in the West in their next game so it will be a difficult game for sure.

What source of schedule did you check? I think they will be playing the Wolves on the road again. If Green will return then I think they'll likely win. It's a great spot for bettors because the Warriors will not be losing 3 in a row, that's so embarrassing for a considered championship team.

Warriors are on a 2 losing streak now.

just like their previous game, they are once again getting dominated again. What do you think are the reasons for this loss? is KT can be partially be blamed for this loss? I think their chemistry was ruined a bit when he joined the team, the hype was there and we expected they'll become a stronger team, but look what is happening now.
The problem? It's the missing piece, and that's Draymond Green. The heart of the whole GSW offensive and defensive play. So many people underestimate him because of his trash talks and lack of shooting skills but that is not where he excels. He's a premium defender and a leader who can make a big difference whenever he steps on the court. 4 losses out of 5 games they played and Green missed 3 of those. Let's see if it will be different once he is back.
This is the reason why the Warriors are in a 2 game losing streak right now.
We know how good Green is inside the court. He is like the captain of the team and he often is making plays. Lets not forget that he is also like Westbrook that is making triple doubles when the Warriors are dominating the league for years. Green's absence is felt in their last 2 games where they lost. Can somebody share why he didn't play in their last 2 games? or Load Management.

Grizzlies on the other hand are on a different level now. Their chemistry is so high that it doesn't matter if Ja Morant scores high or low as long as they can win the game. The ball is distributed well and 5 players have double digits in points.
Lets also add that they are a young team that is composed of young and talented players.
They are in a winning streak right now and they are 3rd in the standings with 3 games behind the top spot. TBH, they are more surprising than the Cavaliers for me. Lets see how this Grizzlies team performs in the playoffs because for sure they will enter the playoffs this season with how they are playing right now.

I really don't understand the Lakers...  Dwight Howard has been playing literally at an MVP level this season when he's on the floor, and while he is barely getting any minutes, his impact is obvious.  There must be something going on behind the scenes because I believe Dwight being let go last year is why they didn't make the Finals and now they're talking about trading him!  Absolutely insane.  There has to be stuff going on we aren't seeing.  I know Dwight has been "sus" for quite a while in the league due to various questionable antics, but as a basketball fan I want to see him out there...

https://hoopshype.com/2022/01/13/lakers-assessing-trade-value-of-dwight-howard-deandre-jordan-and-kent-bazemore/
Whoever made this decision do have a brain problem or he is blind.  Cheesy They are always looking at stats and not the impact of each player. The rim is protected well because of Dwight Howard and it gives chills to whoever tries to attack the rim. I don't have any idea if this is a locker room problem or it is just the management who is foolish enough to even trade him.
Frank Vogel is known for his defensive mastery and Dwight is the one that reflects that. I think they are trying to be an offensive team now which I doubt will get a championship. They should remember its not the offense that made them win a championship, it's how Dwight played being bully in the paint.
I am one of the guys that got irritated by what he did during the game but I realized how much of an impact it was after they won.

I think the management is like playing the blame game right now. First it was Rondo they let go, now they are thinking of Dwight. Yeah, it will be an insane decision to trade him and keep Jordan in the line up. And it seems that Dwight has matured enough from his last stint with the Lakers and he has been contributing. And if ever they go on the playoffs, Dwight experience is needed in the paint to bully other big guys who try to go and score in the middle.

That's correct, Howard is a very effective defender, even against Jokic who is one of the best big men in the NBA. He is very physical and he really put his passion into sports, and I think when he signed with the Lakers he was happy again and now they are thinking of shifting him to other teams, not a good move.

We won't forget Howard's contribution during the Lakers championship run and I can say that he is the vital part during that run against the Nuggets as he uses his experience to throw Jokic off balance during their playoff series and it was really that effect.

So if ever they move Howard then, we don't know who will be their centers that can replace Dwight's experience and game IQ.

Normally I am not a very big fan of the fans getting the vote when it comes to anything whether that’s NBA all star voting or any other sport for that matter.  However I think they’ve done a pretty good job so far as in terms of selecting who’s going to both play in the game and start in the game. Personally I would of course love to see both Lavine and DeRozan in the starting lineup as a Bulls fan, but Trae Young us having a hell of a season and is likely deserving of one of those spots.

I'm not sure if politics are taking place behind the scenes as I don't see a valid reason why Howard is not getting the minutes.

What I'm speculating is that the Lakers have a lot of star players and a bit of clash among them or the management could be a viable option for him not getting those minutes but I could be wrong though. Howard is insanely good at the defense and people fear him before attacking the rim. I really hope that he gets his deserved minutes and he can make a huge impact for this Lakers side as they are now in shambles.

Boom muh knicks got cam reddish from the Hawks for Kevin knox and a highly protected Charlotte 1st round pick.  Knicks fleeced the Hawks here.  Kid is 22 jumped his 3pt % 10% almost to 40 and is scoring decently when he gets to play.  Just too many players above him.  How the knicks peeled knox for cam is probably one of the first time in a long time knicks we're on the right side of a trade.  College buddies with rj too, hopefully they can cook together here.

Nice man, congrats to you and your Knicks.  I may be a die hard bulls fan but with Thibs being the Knicks head coach, I sort of like rooting for them ( and you guys got my guy Taj Gibson).  Cam Reddish was certainly a nice little pick up for you guys.  He will be someone you can count on scoring at least 10 points a night for you and like you said his three point shooting has certainly improved.  In todays NBA that three point shooting is so important so that progression he's making with those shots is a pretty nice indicator of what's to come.

Maybe we as fans expecting too much to 30+ guys who are mostly not in their primes, though it may sound subjective but that's just my opinion. Most of the star athletes on the team are 30+ already and I think that's the reason? Maybe the chemistry thing again.

No doubt on LBJ, he can do that but they should act as a team and win as a team too. It feels like he's not stopping and just getting hungry for more but if the performance as a team doesn't meet, that's not really fine at all.

Actually, the only thing Lebron needs now is a little bit of support from his teammates. You are right that the players are aging which is also a drawback for them, but if they can play as one unit, then they can use their experience to their fullest potential and do very good in the league, I think.
Lebron is still in peak form and all he needs is a bit of assistance from his teammates. Maybe WB can also rise to the occasion but there's no denying that he's aging.

That's correct, Howard is a very effective defender, even against Jokic who is one of the best big men in the NBA. He is very physical and he really put his passion into sports, and I think when he signed with the Lakers he was happy again and now they are thinking of shifting him to other teams, not a good move.

He can provide but I don't know why Lakers are not giving him that time.

If they decided to shift him out, he didn't have any other option but to play; I hope to see him playing the way his pal McGee,
he's getting minutes with the Suns and he really giving good game.

We will see what impacts the trade to the entire rotation of Lakers. Maybe they are doing it for the best interest of the entire
squad.

So if ever they move Howard then, we don't know who will be their centers that can replace Dwight's experience and game IQ.

I think it's only Dwight Howard that will likely have a good value in return instead of trading those bunch of their guards and forwards that mostly heating the bench. I prefer DJ to be traded as a priority but I hope the Lakers can find a way to assess his value on the market.

Keep Dwight Howard and consider trading others instead. Or much better, stay with the current roster and don't change anything as I don't think a revamp approaching the half of the season will still save their asses on chemistry problems. Still don't understand why Vogel doesn't want to consider giving Howard much more playing time even back in NBA Bubble. Maybe because there's not much competition on the paint now as mostly, the most offenses came from perimeter and rainbow area? Regardless, a presence of a big man under the rim always has an impact.

Golden State Warriors are having a really bad time these days. They won only once in their last five games. And they played two difficult games in a row recently. They lost both of them against Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks. And tonight, they have another difficult game against Chicago Bulls this time. It is an away game for GSW and they will aim to get a win finally. But Bulls have been playing very well so far. So I wouldn't be astonished if Bulls win this game too.

Howard is one of those calibers centers that can provide. He's also a 2-way player if being paired with a good passer.

Not sure also why Coach Vogel keep sitting him and not to allow him to help inside with much longer time, either a coach decision or maybe there's

also, something with whom LeBron wants to play with him inside the court. No offense, but it's more on LeBron and how he wanted the game will

be played, he chooses who's going to be beside him.

Just saying, I don't have further knowledge about how the rotation coach Vogel handling the Lakers.  Wink

Maybe he is preserving Howard to be completely healthy in the playoffs? We are just speculating now because of the frustration we are feeling, we want the Lakers to win so we want to see the best players to be playing on the court.  They say coach knows better because they are hired to do the job, but we just can't avoid to think like a coach sometimes.  Smiley

And here we are. There is a great game tonight which is going to be Chicago Bulls - Brooklyn Nets. Bulls are leading their conference and Nets are following them right behind in the standings. Bulls' recent form is better now as they lost only once in their last five games. And these teams played against each other two times already in this season. And Bulls defeated them home and away both. But this time Nets have Irving too. Maybe they can have their revenge.
It is indeed a highly anticipated game. Brooklyn Nets will probably not have Harden though due to a hyperextended left knee injury. And I also think Kyrie Irving's contribution is questionable after all the things happened to him. He was a great player but I don't think he can be at his 100% anymore. And Bulls are doing good these days. If Nets are without Harden, Bulls seem to me like the team to bet on.
Durant alone could not beat the Bulls, they are the hottest team in the East now, they are winning games and they are beating good teams and Nets would not be an exception here. Bulls have their big 3 in this game, Nets only have a big one, so we know which team will win already.
Well, in the end the Nets have crushed the Bulls, rather unexpectedly. Durant had 27 points 9 assists and Harden had 25 and a whopping 16 assists. But the important thing is that they showed everyone what they can do. Their lead was only two points by the half time but at the end of the third quarter, the game was at 101-79. They had a 39-19 run which was quite strong. Majority favourited the Bulls but the Nets managed to get a big win. This shows that amazing playoffs are awaiting us.

Bulls will bounce back like they always did, however, tonight they will be facing the Warriors who also need a win after two straight losses with a huge margin. Can't tell which team will win but one thing that I expect is that it will be a fun game since both teams need to come back from the winning track.

Klay is still playing on a minutes restriction, so don't be too surprised at these losses.

I think that once Klay truly integrates with the rest of GSW without disruption, and finds his role again, there will be absolutely no trouble for the Warriors to steamroll pretty much all the teams in the playoffs.

I still have them as the favourites to win the West right now.

Agreed.

Even though the Suns have a better record I think that the GSW simply have way more experience and talent compared to the Suns and an aging CP3.

Other contenders like the Jazz and Mavs have shown time and time again that they tend to collapse during big games, so I wouldn't be betting my money on these teams to win the West.

The Grizzlies are also inexperienced. Warriors seem to be the clear favorites.

Curry has been playing like shit lately, we know this, he is on a slump and that will eventually pass. This guy has been the best shooter NBA history has ever seen and he deserves a little break from it, it is understandable for him to have these type of stretches, we should not blame it on him after so many seasons of being an awesome shooter.

GSW will get back, they will be fine they are still second in the west, and grizzlies are coming close with their amazing streak of wins that is true but even third is not really that bad considering they missed Klay for so long and Curry had to carry them. When you look at Lakers and what was expected of them at the start of the season, to say that Warriors have been bad recently would be a bad approach.
