2161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance is key on: April 24, 2022, 06:09:15 AM
Bitcoin dominance is not a good indicator because it does not always work correctly. For example, right now it is falling and altcoins should be rising according to this model, but they are falling along with bitcoin and dominance, which is a bit odd. I assume this indicator can be used in a rising market or in combination with others.
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 23, 2022, 05:58:49 PM
Inter left Roma no chance in this game, showing who the boss on the field and a candidate for the championship in Serie A and Coppa Italia. But for now, Roma have a chance of maintaining their fifth place in the standings as Lazio play Milan in their next game, and I think Milan will win.
2163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun creates "the most decentralized Stablecoin" on: April 23, 2022, 12:20:27 PM
I don't know how decentralised this token will be, but apart from TRX I wouldn't put much trust in Justin. As said before, he has had failed projects and there is no telling what will happen with this one, especially when it comes to stablecoin. It is not quite clear where this token will be used and why it is needed when TRX has long and successful Tether TRC20.
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoins with a good potential. on: April 23, 2022, 06:29:44 AM
In fact, there are now many altcoins with good potential for the future, not only unknowns, but also long-time successes. It's just that the market is in decline right now, so buying altcoins right now is like roulette in a casino. I think you should wait for the market to recover and then buy the coins. In the meantime, spend your time looking for the right projects.
2165  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 22, 2022, 05:42:33 PM
^  That's the problem with that kind of thinking.  'Faith' has nothing to do with price.  And yeah I kinda agree with May.  Nobody knows.  I've been some guys saying sell in 'May and stay away' implying a slightly downward trend and possible more sell downs.  Dunno...  Just stay safe out there.

Anyway, check out the price...  And just like that BTC was breaking above 42k with 45k looking to be a sure thing then out from nowhere somebody pushes it back down to 40k.  Market is spooked and down it goes some more to 39k with 38k looking very likely.  :/
Probably 38-42-45k is the range in which bitcoin will stay for a while until the bulls or bears win. I don't know how long this accumulation will last, but I think we will see the outcome soon. Personally, I think bitcoin will still show growth before it drops. I also think we will see a serious drop before the next halving. These are market cycles that repeat themselves regularly.
2166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: April 22, 2022, 01:14:34 PM
I can recommend you to research this market more thoroughly and maybe after that you will be able to make some money, but you are probably right to have missed that train. But you still have a chance to buy bitcoin now at an inexpensive price to sell it at a good price in the future. True, no one knows what the future holds for fiat money and inflation, but everyone on this forum knows that bitcoin will always be bitcoin.
2167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain.com Wallet KYC on: April 22, 2022, 08:04:27 AM
If any wallet offers you KYC, you should forget about that wallet and use another one. Blockchain.com has been popular for a long time, but now there are many other good services that have much more functionality than this wallet. Generally, confirming your identity and showing your documents to unknown people on the Internet is not the best idea. It's even better to choose exchanges where you can buy and sell crypto without KYC.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 21, 2022, 03:17:20 PM
Espanyol against Rayo Vallecano and Cadiz against Athletic Bilbao are less interesting matches than Sevilla and Barcelona, but I think there will be a battle here too. There are few games left to play this season, so all teams need to pick up points. Athletic Bilbao can still fight for a place in the European Leagues, while Cadiz need to move away from the relegation zone.
2169  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your opinion on recent bull market, will it be over soon? on: April 21, 2022, 11:52:45 AM
There is a new bull market now, but I think it will be local, not like 2019-2020. Bitcoin has bounced back from 40k and I think it will rise to around 50k. A bull market could be signalled by some altcoin pumps, as usually happens when the market rises. The main thing now is not to panic and not to let the fud come in. I am optimistic for the next month.
2170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 21, 2022, 09:13:24 AM
Atletico Madrid played terribly against Granada. I don't understand how they could embarrass themselves in such an important match. Now it remains a battle between Sevilla and Barcelona for second place in the standings. I think Sevilla should beat Levante away, although yesterday I thought the same of Atletico Madrid. I still have my doubts about Barcelona. Real Sociedad play well at home and are not a weak opponent like Granada or Levante.
2171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin privacy? on: April 20, 2022, 02:32:21 PM
Privacy is not about bitcoin.
?

Of course you can use Samourai Wallet or Wasabi Wallet, which have CoinJoin technology using Tor nodes.
Unfortunately, the Wasabi coordinator censors users now. You can read more about this in: The default Wasabi Wallet coordinator will start censoring "illegal" UTXOs.

But it seems to me that if you are a regular user you might get suspicious when using such wallets.
You mean a suspect? Well, if they choose to deposit the coins in a centralized exchange, they may be rejected, but until there. I've never witnessed a case where the CoinJoin participator enmeshes with illicit activities just because they mixed their outputs with a criminal.
My point was that bitcoin is not anonymous, or rather for anonymity there are other coins where it is really hard to track transactions.
What I meant by suspicious is that if you were using a regular wallet like electrum and then started using mixers or Coin Join, you might raise suspicion with a third party. But that depends on how paranoid you are  Cheesy

But it seems to me that if you are a regular user you might get suspicious when using such wallets. After all, there are services like Chainalysis that can track suspect transactions. If you're worried about privacy, use a cryptocurrency dedicated to that.
2173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 20, 2022, 09:28:42 AM
Atletico Madrid have a good chance of finishing second in the standings. I think they should have no problem taking advantage of it by beating Granada. But they need to score as many goals as possible, because Sevilla can also get into second place tomorrow if they beat Levante. With Barcelona I think it's not clear-cut, they will play Real Sociedad tomorrow and it's not sure they'll win.
These three teams have the same opportunity to finish in 2nd position for Barcelona, Atletico and Sevilla. With the decline in Barcelona's performance, Atletico and Sevilla are very advantageous to be able to take over 2nd place in the standings and so I also think that Atletico have a bigger chance than Sevilla.
the match against Granada I think it will also be easy for Atletico, the match will be played at home to Atletico and also Granada's performance is very bad they failed to win in their last 3 matches, I have no doubts to bet on Atletico's win in this match.
Barcelona are facing a tougher opponent in this round, especially as they have to play away, so I have doubts that they will finish second in the standings this time. And Atletico Madrid play at home against the outsiders, so they have a better chance of finishing in that spot. But Sevilla also have a good chance. And Barcelona will not have strong opponents in their next matches, so for them second place is not lost this season.

2175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: April 19, 2022, 05:54:19 PM
Indeed, there could now be a new bull run. I don't expect it to be like last year, but hopefully the market will rise. Bitcoin and many altcoins have bounced back from the bottom and have been rising for a few days now. By the way, usually April and May were often positive months for cryptocurrency market growth. Maybe this year will be no exception.
2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IPhone users using Trust wallet on: April 19, 2022, 03:14:00 PM
Trust Wallet was once bought by the most popular exchange, Binance, so I think this wallet can be trusted. It has all the features you need, including a seed phrase that can be used to restore your wallet in any other multi-currency app. Another thing to note is that IOS apps are much safer than Androin because they are more thoroughly checked. I wouldn't doubt the security of Trust Wallet.
2177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 19, 2022, 02:08:13 PM
Valencia are playing very badly this year, I don't know why but I always thought they were the same team as Barcelona or Sevilla. But that must have been a long time ago. Villarreal are still in the Champions League and before the match against Liverpool they have to play Sevilla, which are two very strong opponents. Therefore, I think Villarreal need to beat Valencia today to earn points.
Villareal have a bad performance in the league but they are doing really well in the champions league at the moment, I think this season it will be very difficult for them to get into the champions league zone next season and the only realistic position they can be get at the moment is securing one ticket to the European zone, but of course they have to be able to win every remaining match because at the moment they are still under Real Sociedad with a difference of 6 points, although it is difficult but I think Villareal should be able to get 3 points when dealing with Valencia later because then they are still can maintain the opportunity to go to the european league next season, even though now Villareal have reached the semifinals of the champions league but to be honest it is very difficult for them to get the champions league trophy this season.
I also think Villarreal should beat Valencia today, but they have a very busy schedule, especially against not the weakest of opponents. I think the only chance for them to qualify for the European leagues is to win the Champions League, but that is almost impossible because their next games are against undefeated Liverpool.

The last match between Napoli and Roma ended in a draw. Judging by the first half, that result could be repeated in this game. I don't think Napoli will lose or Roma can win today. They are historically bad at playing away against Napoli. Both teams need to score points though. But I think Napoli will win or draw.
The result is still ahead of Napoli with the score 1-0 Roma are still trying to be a draw but it's a little bit more difficult because Napoli is a tough opponent it's not easy for Roma to do the task, so I think the hosts Napoli can win.
Roma will be a little more difficult to chase points for champions league tickets if they lose again they will be further away, I think Roma are still trying hard to get points.
What a game! Even with a red card, Roma managed to score at the end of the match! Now it's up to them to make it through added time. It's hard to imagine how bad it must be for Napoli fans. If the game ends with this score, the team will be behind the two Milan teams in the standings and unlikely to catch up. In general, their game has deteriorated towards the end of the season.
