The first alt-coin that can have an app like blockchain.info for BTC would have a massive advantage in terms of commercial adoption and utility. Does anyone know how feasible it would be to create something similar for Britcoin?
Now that would be really interesting, I think it would take quite a large investment to get a bespoke app like that developed though.. But it's something I think will help BritCoin grow substantially so it's something we really should look in to doing in the mid-long term. We're going to be launching a kickstarter campaign at some point this month, so that could be one of our big dev projects to use the funds on.  Might be worth contacting Blockchain.info and finding out if they have any altcoin plans. |

Guys the most important thing is to get the word out about Britcoin. Unlike 99% of coins this is here to stay. As part of the community we all need to help.
Spread the word on any social media you use. If you have particular skills use them to help. Tell your family and friends about it. Make youtube videos, pins for Pinterest, Tweet, retweet, share on Facebook - any and all ways you spread the word helps to make Britcoin stronger.
There have been a lot of scams lately.
Show people that there is a decent and honest coin which is here for the long term.
The more we can grow the community the stronger Britcoin will be.

Great! You can't directly mine britcoin anymore, it is 100% proof of stake now.
Shows how much I know about coin mining  I've tried to get my head around PoW, PoS and other coin mining terms by reading wikis and threads but I'm still not much wiser. So now that BRIT is PoS how do you obtain them? can they now only be bought? are they all mined and no more can be created? Noob questions for sure, I've been trying to set up my 5x Nvidia 750Ti rig on CoinKing multipool but have so far failed. Looking for enlightenment. Grasshopper. (Who's old enough to get the reference  ) You can mine them indirectly at Coinking.io where they let you mine the most profitable coins and pay out in BRIT, otherwise you have to buy them - Bittrex is really the only place where you can get a decent quantity, but C-Cex (currently) and Allcoin also have (very small) markets. |

I'm not going to public reveal all my plans here man  Whoever takes this coin, he'll do a good job. I'm confident. Dev is honest enough to transfer his coin, so at least give him credit for it. He can just runaway and abandon this coin... Nothing wrong with the coin, dev, or team. Just bad PR, and dev reacting in the wrong way to all the FUD he had to hear 24/7. There's only one word that can even begin to imply the level of stupidity reflected in your posts: WOWBut, for emphasis, it must be repeated at least three time, bolded and underlined: WOW, WOW, WOW! Nothing about the coin or its operators is a scam - period.
Even if it isn't your behaviour made it look like a scam and was frankly unforgivable. Add to that the fact that the inflationary basis for this coin is severely flawed and there seems to be little point in restarting it unless major changes are made (including the name). That would be my plan if i takeover this coin. First step -> Limit the amount of total coins. Change the name too. This one is too stigmatised. |

What's the point? Why revive a scam coin that has nothing going for it when there are plenty of legit coins? It's not the coin that's a scam. The coin itself is a great coin. How is the coin itself great? 100 million coins per year. No cap. How is that economically viable? |

Just to let you guys know, our Fiat > BritCoin via instant bank transfer will be launching in the next few hours! It's good that a lot of people don't know this yet. This gives a chance for the little guys to still get in quite cheap. Once this starts moving the price will rise very fast. Then see the panic buys as people realise that this will set a minimum price floor for BRIT:) |

dev tried but the exchanges are removing the coin  Which exchange is removing it? c-cex Coins to be removed August, 4 due to low volume: PCC, ROX, HTML, DVC, FSC, CSO, VRC, BTCS, POS, QB, BRIT, NMC, TRK, FTC, COOL, CFC2, GOD, LTS, NIC, URO, TECH, GLY, DUCK, ISIS, VIA, SPATA, YACC, FRY, XBD, TORBTC Who cares if C-CEX is removing it? The main volume is on Bittrex anyway. Having it on crappy little exchanges just gives more opportunity to manipulate the price. If you are that easily spooked you should sell your Brit to people who aren't. |
