I haven't lost that much btc, but I have lost a lot of money in off-line gambling, I can control myself and have succeeded in staying away from it from last 3-4 months but I do get the occasional itch and I then gamble with as much btc I have at that time and end up losing it all. I don't think I can say I have an addiction coz I am able to control myself for the most part but I think my father has an addiction, he to this day wakes up and goes out to various casinos and betting centers everyday and if for some reason he can't because of his health or any other reason, he gets really up-set. I think up-to now he must have lost over $40k.

No. This is an argument for a like button which is harmless. A dislike button is pretty negative and will cause more harm than good. If you really disagree with something you can say it and state your reasons why. A like button is useful so you don't have to say a pointless thanks or I agree which adds nothing to the discussion.
Well I think both could have their own usefulness but I see you have already made up your mind about this, so there's no point in me arguing as my statement will be outweighed against yours. So I'll just quietly let myself out. Thanks

Where people choose to pay seo's to buy likes just to gain popularity.
Yeah, because people here don't buy accounts so they can have better signature campaigns. Not at all. Fine, if that's what everybody wants, let's do it. Let's make a "Like" button and see what incredible good it brings to the forum for without it we are all suffering from all the non-substantial posts and it will miraculously stop them. In fact why stop there let's bring in the reddit's karma (upvote & downvote) feature. There's a massive difference between liking a post and up/down voting posts (especially in reddit's case). Nobody is saying it will revolutionise anything but it's a barbless addition in my opinion. Ok. If not upvote downvote button, let's provide a dislike button with the like button. Because if I have the right to show my appreciation for a post, I should also have the right to show that I don't like a post.

ESCROW
Awaiting confirmation from devthedev. Confirmed.
The weird thing is in the OP it says the escrow is confirmed. But devthedev says he has not yet received the funds. Please be advised, I am not yet in control of any funds for this campaign.
I think he meant that devthedev has agreed to do the escrow, and that is what was confirmed. I see. It is a little confusing as it gives the impression that the escrow is confirmed. Let's see if the funds get sent to him soon and hopefully there will be some spots left for full member, as I would join this by tomorrow.

@marcotheminer: Please add Quickseller to the list. Fees: 1%(0.0075 BTC min). When those people Escrow Bitcoin , it means that they escrow the second part , right ? I mean if Origin or steam account or any other kind of accounts is involved , they do that too ?
If accounts are involved, most of them escrow accounts too. Can you also add timings as to when they are generally available, I wanted an escrow but right now they are all off-line.
You can ask Quickseller. If he is offline too, PM me. I am not trusted enough, so I can do upto 1 BTC. -MZ Hi, Will do it next time, I completed the trade with the help of Blazr. Thanks

Hi, need an escrow, sending you a PM now. Thanks
Edit: Completed a trade with Blazr as escrow. Super smooth deal, cleared terms & conditions prior to trade and made sure that everything was done in order.
++1 Highly recommended.

The feedback system is there as a guide for you to make your own mind up on and is not a definitive or foolproof system. Just because someone has lots of feedback doesn't automatically make them trustworthy. You should look at the feedbacks on a case by case basis and see who they got them from and for what and that can help you make your mind up on that person, but as I said, it's just a guide to help you do so.
I understand and you're right. I think the easiest way to buy trust would be to buy an old account with +ve trust, or do fake trades/giveaways or give out loans. So in the eyes of the community you'd look like a generous and reputed person.

IMHO I don't like this idea, simply because I don't want to see this board turning into facebook. Where people choose to pay seo's to buy likes just to gain popularity.
If a person's post is 'Liked', it shouldn't go up or down. People also buy trust feedback. Does that mean trust system should be removed? No! I like this because we can avoid all one word posts - '+1', 'thanks' etc... -MZ I was under the impression that trust feedback can't be bought and people who are found doing that get negative feedback, if you're sure that it is going on please show some proof. How can it not be bought? It's not that hard to do but those caught will likely get negative themselves or lose credibility. If you're right and this is happening than the trust system should be removed as well. Don't be silly. Judges, police, athletes, politicians and everyone else can be bought too, does that mean we need to get rid of them and dismantle society too? No, you do your best to make sure it doesn't happen and punish those that are caught, but instances will slip through the net occasionally. Well this certainly increases my confidence in the trust system. I wonder now though how many people who have green under their name are from real feed-backs and not bought ones.

Due to overspamming we added two positions to the rules:
Important update - We don't pay for posts less than 75 symbols length. - We don't pay for posts in Off-topic / Games and rounds / Alternate cryptocurrencies and this thread.
I really like the last rule, which is not paying for posting in this thread, I think other signature campaigners should apply this rule as well, I see a lot of posts from other sig campaigners posting in this thread as well just to get their counts increase by stating things too obvious.

In 3 months I might buy 1 bitcoin but it depends on a lot of factors, one of it involves getting money from an off-line investment I did some time back, so if it all works out. I'll buy 1 for sure.

It has been discussed several times and nothing can be done about this. Some exchanges require 3-6 confirmations before the btc appears in your wallet and that can take up-to an hour sometimes and say you saw a coin which was going cheap and you wanted to grab it, it will be gone by the time your deposit gets confirmed.
Yep so people end up leaving their coins on the exchange and then the exchange gets hacked and their coins are gone... Yeah that's the dilemma but hopefully that problem will be solved once there are decentralized exchanges.
