2181  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's dominance in transaction volume [hard facts] on: November 26, 2017, 07:50:08 AM
It's just that Bitcoin has been around for many years now since the fees are reasonable that's why it's transaction and volume overwhelms altcoin But today, I think some people are starting to move to altcoin because of the increasing transaction fees in Bitcoin.
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to invest in cryptocurrencies? on: November 26, 2017, 07:44:03 AM
No mate. You should never ever ever loan to buy crytocurrecies. Do other ways to earn some cash like having a stable job and use the money that you earn to buy Bitcoin. You could sell services here to earn some but don't loan at all.
2183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2017 and WHY !!! on: November 26, 2017, 02:05:50 AM
I've been studying this alt coin for some time now. It has hard working developers ad growing community.
Let me introduce to you, DeepOnion

Deep Onion is an anonymous cryptocurrency that is natively integrated with the TOR network. It increase the level of privacy for the crypto users like me to reduce the likelihood of being hacked or attacked by other legal & illegal entities. With DeepOnion, you can send and receive onions (ONION) over the TOR network.

There's alot of features being implemented now like the DeepVault and the Deepsend.

I'm sure this coin will be great in the future greater than it is now.

Here is the link to their website https://deeponion.org/
2184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help! Faucets Are Wasting My Time. I Need Better Ways To Earn Bitcoins Asap on: November 25, 2017, 05:00:37 AM
I think you will need atleast another month or 2 to earn that kind of cash. 100$ per month is kind of hard earn around the internet. If you want to earn in this forum, you need to be atleast member to earn some decent cash or if you have a skill offer, like making BBcodes or  programming, then maybe you could earn 200$ if you are good enough.

2186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin anonymity broken. You have to pay tax on: November 24, 2017, 12:08:34 PM
From what I've learned. Bitcoin anonymity isn't broken, it is stated in Bitcoin.org that Bitcoin is not completely anonymous at all from the start, meaning, some government can still track you because of the transactions in blockchain. Well, you can still get anonymous depending on how you use Bitcoin.
2187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / New promising PoS coins. on: November 24, 2017, 09:15:59 AM
Hello Bitcoiners. I want to know more PoS coin that are new and promising where I could invest to.   Cheesy

I know there's alot of them around the internet but most of those good ones are expensive and need atleast a minimum of 1000 coin to stake.

You could suggest anything that you think are promising.  Grin

Atleast suggest a name and I could manually do a research about it, if you want, you can introduce it here for the community to check out.

Thank you.  Smiley

2188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How fast Bitcoin is spreading. on: November 24, 2017, 09:05:08 AM
I almost had the same experience as you. Our teacher assigned us to do a research on what topic we would like to present so I thought of Bitcoin. I introduced Bitcoin to them and told them what it can do. Sadly, they didn't react a bit. It seems that in my country (or atleast in my place), people at my age (17-20) don't have any interest when it involves virtual money. So good luck presenting Bitcoin in your place, I hope it gets successful and not as awkward as mine.  Smiley
2189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how can bitcoin survive with 26 USD transaction cost? on: November 23, 2017, 09:13:20 AM
i have recently done 2 bitcoin transactions and i had to pay in total 52 usd in transaction costs,

how can bitcoin be used if it is more and more undividable, because smaller transactions arent worth it anymore?

introducing new forks and splits like bitcoin cash bitcoin gold decreases the trust and people start consider it a manipulated centralised pyramid system.

if someone buys himself a hamburger with bitcoin, he has to pay more than 14 other hamburgers for miners...

bitcoin becomes a currency for large transactions only (rich people), you could worthily transact the payment of a yacht or a building with bitcoin but not smaller things..

regards

I see your point in this one. I've been using an internet wallet for storing my Bitcoins and whenever I want to make a transaction, they always recommend the lowest transaction fee which is around 5-10 USD Dollars now. Not worth it when you just wan't to buy something cheap right?. Transacton fee is one of the problems of Bitcoin. If the developers didn't solve this, a lot of people would switch to altcoins that has low fee and faster than Bitcoin.

2192  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: November 21, 2017, 12:16:40 AM
That all depends on your skills in trading.  People can make money but at the same time they can also lose it.  In trading,  it's all about skills and luck, without one of them, you could lose big time. If you want to earn from this,  you need to invest your time and effort in it.

2194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: November 20, 2017, 01:42:34 PM
In my own way of understanding it, the Government bans it because they can't control it and it is a threat for the traditional banking. Since Bitcoin is Decentralized, we won't be needing a third party like Banks to transfer money, we can now do it freely and anonymously without the interference of others. I think that's why some countries ban it.
2195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto Currency is making people millionaires all over the world on: November 20, 2017, 01:27:44 PM
Well, some become millionaire and most don't. We are actually blind from the fact that we won't be able to become a millionaire just by holding a small amount of Bitcoin. We need a large amount of it, Good skills and luck. Those whales are the ones who gets rich even more by hoarding Bitcoin and tricking newbie investors who just panic sells while the big guys are happy with it because they know that they will profit big time again.
2196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: November 20, 2017, 01:17:06 PM
You can find more answer around the internet why Bitcoin is expensive. So why is it expensive? The price of Bitcoin depends on the market, If the demand is high then the price too is high and if the demand is low so as its price. Another reason is that because of its technology, Transfer money anonymously? who doesn't want that right? and its decentralized so you hold your money as long as you want without anyone interfering.
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10k Bitcoin upcoming!? What are your plans for the Alts? on: November 20, 2017, 12:00:34 PM
About alts, I would probably hold them as long as I profit from them. Alts like dash, litecoin, and Ethereum prices flows with Bitcoin's price so if Bitcoin's price reach 10k by 2018, then I would be expecting an increase in price of those coins. This are just my own opinion though, I might be wrong or I might be right, just need faith.

2199  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: November 20, 2017, 10:00:29 AM
Because basically they won't be able to control it. Bitcoin is decentralized, so meaning it won't need any third parties like banks to transfer money around the world and you can make a transaction anonymously and if Bitcoin did solve it's problem of high fees and slow transaction then it would be a big threat for banks as people will use Bitcoin more for transactions.
2200  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: November 20, 2017, 09:54:04 AM
Let's say both are valuable BUT! Gold is much better when it comes to investment as Gold is use for many things. Both have values but Gold is tangible and Bitcoin is not, just by that reason makes Gold a better asset because trading of it has been around 600 BC and it is proven much more effective and reliable for so many things. If a world war broke out, Bitcoin will be considered useless as it uses the internet to function but Gold is physically touchable so it would be use in a situation like this.
