1321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can this be good for the cryptospace environment in the state of New York? on: July 27, 2019, 01:47:12 AM
I don't really see much wrong with it. Whereas Ripple is certainly a centralized and regulated pro-bank project, what's wrong with Ethereum? Moreover, it's good that people in the administration will be at least favorable to cryptocurrencies at all (and the Ethereum guy can push pro-decentralization, no?). After all, much worse people could be appointed, both from the crypto sphere like Craig Faketoshi and, even worse, some stock manager/Paypal guys who think Bitcoin's a financial pyramid and a thing drug dealers use. While Ripple and Ethereum might get an advantage out of this situation, I think there'll be good stuff for the crypto market in general.

I heard that the team could manipulate Ethereum at some point which makes it a bit dangerous. They have some control over Ethereum and that this is proven from the fact that they have a top models governing the cryptocurrency. I think Ethereum did try to become decentralized but it failed. Ethereum and Ripple are both centralized. Who knows what this guys have in mind since greed will always be there in the corner.
1322  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [GUIDE] PAANO MAGMINA NG BITCOIN???? - Building Mining Rigs on: July 26, 2019, 08:54:01 AM
Kahit hindi ako miner, sobrang interesting talaga ng topic na ito. Since big deal ang kuryente dito sa pilipinas at dahil nasa tropical area tayo, mas okay ba na magmina sa baguio? Kasi I plan to build a simple mining rig para sa mga altcoins.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old Bounty Project Or A New Bounty Project? on: July 26, 2019, 08:38:45 AM
I'd prefer those in the market already. At least in that you can make sure that you'll be able to sell or hold your hard earned bounty stakes (given that you've followed all the requirements). When it comes to new bounties, I'll probably join IEO bounties because from my view, it's better than ICO.
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think satoshi will ever come back and post on this forum? on: July 26, 2019, 12:47:28 AM
I don't think so. It would expose his/her/their identity which is dangerous at this point because of the holdings in his/her/their wallet. Well, there's a possibility that it will happen in the future though but it's slim. At this point, I think we should just ignore this topic as there might be a reason why he/she/they hid from the public. We should just respect it.
1325  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin, or diversified investment? on: July 25, 2019, 05:41:48 AM
Ang pinaka maganda talaga sa lahat is mag-invest ka sa iba't ibang businesses or assets. That way ma-aaverage mo yung profit mo and with less risk. For example, most of my time are here in cryptocurrency but that doesn't mean na wala na akong ibang ginagawa. Nag invest din ako sa stock market ng maaga para mas lalo pang umangat ang profit ko. Less risk but okay ang kita.
1326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You don't loose if you don't encash on: July 25, 2019, 02:31:24 AM
Hey  Smiley

I once came across a time when I was unsure where the market is going to take us , thus I brought at a very high price , unfortunately the price came down as quickly as it climbed up.

The reason I believe I haven't lost even a single penny is because I believe you cannot loose when you don't encash.

Therefore I still believe holding for the long term can actually help you .

True, you haven't lost anything, except the decline in the value of your assets, when you still hold it tight. But, most people who experience a decline in the value of their investment, usually will panic and tend not to think about the possibilities that can still occur later on. In a panic, people usually think shorter because they are afraid of losing everything.

That's probably the first thing that a person would think. Most of us doesn't know how to read the movement of the chart which will result into panic once an asset starts to decline slowly. I think a deemed lost is still a loss in profit especially in the altcoin market where most project tend to die quickly without being able to recover. There's a high possibility that you would loss the value of your asset.
1327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO IS WAY BETTER on: July 24, 2019, 07:48:48 AM
IEO (initial exchange offering) is better than ICO,to participate in any IEO you have to be a member on the exchange launching the IEO ,this are my reasons

1)IEO is safer and better than ICO because its not what anyone can just conduct ,to conduct an IEO the project teams must meet and comply with the exchanges requirements in order to launch the token sale .

2)contributors are protected by the exchange, why? Many big exchanges offering the IEO now are after there reputations so its not easy to launch IEO through them,if the project before them is not genuine enough the exchanges won't dare take the risk.

I think this is what many investors have been waiting for , better risk limiting investment ,IEO is the only way to go
,don't forget ,DYOR ,thank you

Still depends on the project and what problem are they trying to solve for the community, yes the crowdfunding will be successful, but after the crowdfunding, what will become the project, will the exchange has something to do with the development, so better if the project is really legit and what can it offer to the community.

That's true. The funding for the project will be successful but it doesn't mean the project itself would succeed. I think what makes IEO better is that it would tell the legitimacy of a project which means there's a high chance that it would succeed. But it still depends on the investors.
1328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright trying to scare people. on: July 24, 2019, 07:42:47 AM
He is a hypocrite liar. At this point, you shouldn't listen to him. Trying to scare investors? he's been doing that ever since but what happened though? nothing. Bitcoin is staying strong still and is showing signs that it will still grow in the future. Let's say he has a quarter of that Bitcoin, even it he sold those, it would affect the price but it will bounce back. At this point, Bitcoin is too powerful to stop.
1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good reason to always DYOR before investing on: July 24, 2019, 12:18:01 AM
Or maybe they've research the project but it turns out to be a big scam. It's just that. Research alone is not enough to know if a project is going to succeed or not. Maybe due to the influence of others, they've concluded that it is a good project to invest to but whined when it's not. I myself are doing a thorough research in order to profit in some project, but I'm a human being, I make mistakes which led to failure sometimes.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine that you're new to crypto now on: July 23, 2019, 07:17:52 AM
If I find something new to me, I would doubt it at first. Research what is it about and learn how can I benefit from it in the future. So far, cryptocurrency is very beneficial to me for the reason is that there's no limitation on what Bitcoin could offer. I could buy something using gift cards bought using Bitcoin. I could buy steam games using Bitcoin or pay bills without going on a long line. Maybe invest some of my savings for the future.
1331  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for any kinda part-time jobs. on: July 23, 2019, 06:30:04 AM
Why don't you make some reputation first by working up your portfolio? By discussing in some threads and getting some merits, you could prove that you are very knowledgeable about Blockchain.

Attention please:
The size of the avatar is too large that I have to reduce it my self before I can upload it on my profile and at the same time, you have to provide signature code so that, a click from our profile will be able to direct people to your site. Copying the current one on my profile will be fine but not clickable or can anyone help me out please.

I had the same problem. The code is not visible to us so we can't copy the exact signature that you are requesting. It would help us a lot if you quote the code in the first post so that we could wear it. Thank you.
This is a code for Full member. All signatures are in the fist post in signature campaign.

1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Cryptocurrency? on: July 23, 2019, 04:42:13 AM
Bitcoin is not the first Digital currency created but I think the first cryptocurrency created which is decentralized. I think there's an article written by investopedia somewhere in the internet. It's an interesting read, try it.

1336  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Are Women Slowly Leaning On To Crypto Trade? on: July 22, 2019, 05:53:36 AM
Personally I think it will be a little hard for women to control emotions when they are fully integrated into cryptos trading,

Have you ever met a woman? Many of them are fully competent.

True, most of the woman I've met in my environment are competent. They are very competitive in what they are doing which proved that they can handle almost everything that a man can do nowadays. The idea of "man is superior to woman" is becoming obsolete in this era and everyone should be taught this. I mean, I've met a lot of woman cryptocurrency traders and stock brokers in my life and they are quite successful in what they are doing.
1337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin so valuable just because it was first? on: July 20, 2019, 07:30:01 AM
I think the reason why most people trust Bitcoin is because it is decentralized. It is not controlled by anyone. It's developers doesn't hold the majority of supply (Except Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder) unlike those other coins who's supplies are already hoard by their creators. And also, Bitcoin does develops and copes with the present which is enough for the masses.
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fact checking Trump's claims about Bitcoin on: July 19, 2019, 09:43:18 AM
I agree completely. The best way to end this ignorance is by spreading education. What Trump did is repeat the same ignorance some others like him have done in the past, mostly because they don't know better or don't care.

And your points regarding drugs and Libra are accurate as well.

True, the reason why people are afraid of Bitcoin is because of the lack of knowledge about it. What he said doesn't really add up in negativity as most investors nowadays know that some cryptocurrency are being use in unknown trades mentioned above. It's still a good advertisement for Bitcoin nonetheless.
1339  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinoy takot paren sa crypto-investing? on: July 19, 2019, 08:53:28 AM
Kasi no matter what you do, Bitcoin investing will always have high risk.
1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is the crypto bull run June 2019 on: June 17, 2019, 12:00:44 PM
Bitcoin now reached a 2 years high crossing 10K. Crypto have had a long bearish trend the last 2 years. Now the bull run is back again. What would the Bitcoin price hit this time? Will it cross the 20K line or would stay lower?

I dont think it will go straight away to 20k, it wont be healthy if thats the case. I expect a correction a bit for few weeks then another run. i think 12-15k this year should be an achievement already from 3.2k early this year. Then 2020 should run passing 20k

I agree. 2020 will be the key to surpassing the all-time high because of the Bitcoin halving. A lot of investors are expecting Bitcoin to rise because of this. But in opinion, miners would play a big role in this.
