1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't easily trust IEO, be careful with that on: August 21, 2019, 11:38:23 AM
the emergence of the IEO has attracted many new investors and old investors, most investors, are now turning to investing in IEO. but remember, we can't fully trust IEO, I'm very sure that something good can turn bad at any time!
the world of cryptoqurency is very anonymous and you must always be vigilant with every action you will take.

In general, we really can't trust anything here because of how anonymous people are but you can't deny that IEO is a good upgrade to ICO depending on the platform. Most of the IEO have succeeded and already have exchange to trade with which is important for a project so start with. I think the one thing that people should be careful from is the exchange that a project is in. The higher the reputation, the best result you could get.
1262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade against USD or BTC? on: August 21, 2019, 11:34:03 AM
How about try both? that way you should be able to tell which is more profitable to you. Also, it's not like USDT/BTC pair is the only trade-able asset here in cryptocurrency space, there are a lot to pick from. If you really are having a bad time profiting in altcoin, I suggest that you go against USDT as the price is stable. Although I seldom trade, it's working for me if luck's on my side. Also, trade with the highest volume.

I don't get it. You have 24k USD to welcome partners, but at the same time you are looking for minimum investment of 200 USD from people who want to partner?

We keep seeing people coming and asking for investment like this but where's your business model, your competitive research and analysis, budget statement, simple things like this? You want money, show us where it's going to:)

Edit: Good thing this user got banned. I checked and saw that all of his post are copied from the others. It sucks that this type of people exist.
1264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I LOST 0.40 BTC BECAUSE OF AN GMAIL ACCOUNT on: August 20, 2019, 03:14:46 AM
I feel bad for you mate. Losing 0.40 is no joke especially if you are living in a third world country. That is why whenever you are into cryptocurrency, you have to separate your gmail into a division. Like for example, a gmail for businesses outside and a gmail for this forum. Maybe another gmail for exchanges.

I suggest that you reformat your computer and install and update your anti-virus. Make another gmail and make sure that you have a way to recover it. And remember that not even the gmail team would ask for your details. I hope you recover.
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors still complaining? on: August 19, 2019, 09:51:40 AM
absence of research will consistently drives investors off track,Numerous investors are whining that they are at lose putting lots of money into some IEO projects yet many IEO projects are plain success from the info ive gathered,IEO projects from binance,bitmax,gate.io,kucoin are mostly successful and their ATH are so good that i regret not investing in some of them, why are people still complaining? Are they joining IEO from crappy exchanges or new exchanges with low volumes?

Probably the main factor is money. In order to invest, they'd need to sacrifice something for the sake of profit which if not successful will turn into loss. Losing can bring the emotion out of us which is why they are complaining as they are mad about a certain project disappointing them.

You really can't blame them though, people are different and people have the right to complain as long as they are not hurting anybody. If I was in their shoe, I would be so mad too. To be honest, I rarely see someone complain though. Most of the time they just report them and maybe add a little rant about it.
1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dont stop been a bounty hunter because of present condition on: August 18, 2019, 10:09:07 AM
Yes, we've all been there at some point. That's why you don't stop at trying to find a good bounty. Even though they are hard to find, they will show up eventually like I have right now. 2018 was not a good year to bounty hunt and it turns out that there was a lot of good bounties that I've missed.

I'm sure there will come a time where altcoin will rise. Since this is a good year for BTC, some altcoins will have the opportunity to grow significantly in the near future. Some bounty projects might even be successful. We just have to be patient because good things comes to those who wait.
1267  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Friday Feeling For Bitcoin As It Falls Back to Four Figures on: August 17, 2019, 10:06:45 AM
BTC below $10k is very good entry for long-term view of the price. I think the best entry for BTC is between $7k and $8k, I will go all-in if BTC drop there
Well even though it's a good entry, it's still a bad idea to go all-in.

It's been going ups and downs lately. I think it's a good thing as it would be an opportunity to buy some Bitcoin again. To be honest, I've already made my position at $9,900 and preparing to invest some more if Bitcoin goes down a little. I wonder if when will top altcoins follow though. Since they are down, I'm eyeing to invest in them too.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Clone coins that use Ethereum code base to scam on: August 16, 2019, 03:20:06 AM
This people are making the industry to look more scam to newbies and that is why we still have a very low adoption as almost every newbies are getting scammed which made many thought bitcoin and the rest are all scam. I think ETH need to put in place some features to stop any token that is trying to use others smart contract to scam people .
Not only newbies get scammed by them, but also old users get scammed too. Especially people who joined forum long time ago, but have not yet spent too much time to read and learn about crypto in the forum. The forum has loads of legends whom are readily to help if someone ask for help, technically. But if someone join the forum, just to post shits, and join bounties, over years, they won't be able to get any  kind of knowledge and skills in return. Then, someday they will fall in greedy mood, and get scammed.

I've been here for like 2 years now and still getting fooled by this. I guess I shouldn't trust those Ethereum clones from now on. I think the only reason why even some old members are getting fooled is because past clones made dollars worth of Token (even I got a jackpot from one of those) which is why some are still trying their luck.

Good thing that I haven't done anything that would compromise my wallet though.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 76% of dark market using Bitcoin on: August 15, 2019, 01:55:59 AM
Strange to see Monero and other privacy coins being so unpopular in darknet markets, is Bitcoin mixing good enough these days, or are privacy coins suffering from some problems? Maybe it's hard to convert them to BTC or fiat without raising suspicion?

There are currently some researches floating around that put Bitcoin illegal use at 1-2%, but the fact that Bitcoin is so popular sure means that something is wrong with those researches.

I thought so too. I thought Monero is taking over the dark market because of its anonymous features. Maybe it's most likely trust issues. They trust Bitcoin more than Monero because Bitcoin has been around the most and that it's easier to convert into fiat than all of altcoins without the need of exchange. Not to mention that mixer exist.
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloud mining has Hidden viruses on: August 14, 2019, 03:44:04 AM
If Cloud Mining does use your resources, then it's not cloud mining. Cloud Mining is a contract that let's you profit by renting the rig of a company. Usually it takes years before you could even your investment depending on the contract.

I think the one you downloaded has a hidden miner. I don't know where you get that but you should get out of there as soon as possible as cloud mining is mostly scam. It's better to buy Bitcoin to be honest.
1271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops profitable and worth my time ? on: August 14, 2019, 02:33:44 AM
I agree with the guys above. As of lately, not only you are wasting your time, some airdrops are fake which means you advertise them for free. It's not 2017 where airdrop really does give you profit and 2019 is more about referrals. Even if you have a lot of referrals, that coin or token still doesn't guarantee  profit.

The only way for you to sell them is for them to get into an exchange. Getting into exchange doesn't mean it's a profit because the price might not be worthwhile. If you really want to profit, try doing bounty. Only few bounties are good and hard to find but they really do pay.
1272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Surpassed The "Stocks" Search Term (Google Trends) on: August 14, 2019, 02:15:49 AM
I hope that doesnt happen again before altmarket bull run even for a short period.me and many people stucked at alts.we need an alt season.

Don't worry, altcoin will surely follow after Bitcoin. It's just that don't expect your altcoin to pump. You should have invested more in Bitcoin as it has the highest chance to increase in price in all of cryptocurrency. By the way, it's a good thing that Bitcoin is becoming more famous in terms of google search because it shows people's interest in cryptocurrency.

1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin or Bitcoin on: August 13, 2019, 03:21:33 AM
As of now, Bitcoin is still dominant. Most altcoin bleeds because of the way Bitcoin moves. Since altcoins are down, it would be wise to pick a top cryptocurrency and invest in it. To be honest, it depends on the trend. There are times when some altcoins are making a big move and there are times like this where you can get a nice profit from Bitcoin.

I personally invest in both as the profits are different. In long term holding, I'd still prefer Bitcoin over altcoins.
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC on: August 13, 2019, 02:51:06 AM
Indeed, for sure Chipmixer will cooperate to the authority to trace the hacker.  I believe Chipmixer will protect their name and will have a wise decision regarding this incident.  Mixing service have records of their transaction though they keep it private.

Chipmixer is in a bad spot right now, if they give the data to authorities, they will lose some customers, both criminals and just people who don't trust governments. If they don't cooperate, they will risk getting closed, and they will have reputation of a service that launders dirty money, and some users might be scared that the coins that they get will be tainted.

I don't think it will happen. They really need to cooperate with the authority this time or they're fucked. This case involves hacking of a large exchange with a large amount of money, this is not a joke. It's more riskier to get shutdown than to cooperate with the authority. At least this way, they are doing the right thing. I think they will do this in a private matter.
1276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Unnamed.Exchange on: August 12, 2019, 04:25:00 PM
This looks promising. It's a fairly new exchange but the interface is kind of good in my experience. Given the time, this might be big someday. Since that it's a new exchange, I noticed that most new coins are getting listed here too.

It seems it's active and it's interesting so I'll keep an eye on this one.

By the time na wala na yung account, may higit sampo na sigurong nagawa ulit.

1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of profitable bounty campaign in year 2019 on: August 12, 2019, 06:14:39 AM
I'm planning to start participating in bounty again but I'm not sure if it's already profitable, so I like to search some information based on what you know and what you experience about the bounty that really paid the participants this year, this are the past bounties to be specific.

Please share some list and some information about the successful bounty.

It's been awhile since I've joined a bounty campaign so I really don't have much, but if you want a currently running bounty campaign that pays monthly, you can try the one I'm wearing right now. Bounty is doing great so far, they handle things professionally, and the team is great.

Although it's a stable coin, they pay their members token and that token can be exchange in their website or an exchange for BTC or ETH. I've personally tried it and it's smooth. You can see that already as a success.

In my opinion, it's never too late to join bounties again, it's just that good ones are really hard to find. It's considered to be lucky enough to even find a paying one even if the value is low. Never give up and you'll soon find success.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your family thinks about that you into crypto on: August 12, 2019, 05:49:03 AM
Never tell your family that you are into crypto. Since I'm from a third world country, money is very important here that your family might be greedy to you for the sake of it. Since my family knows that I'm into crypto, the decisions I make are being hinder by them which forced me to separate ways. It's hard to admit but they only think cryptocurrency as a source of income. Nonetheless, I still support their financial needs.

From what I could gather. This is pretty much the same with Bitcoin but CPU only. The home page and the about page is pretty much the same and there's no information about the team or whatsoever. I also couldn't find the whitepaper if there's any.

Nonetheless this is interesting. Will keep a close eye on this thread.
