1401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk calls cryptocurrency 'brilliant' while predicting end of paper money.. on: March 06, 2019, 08:14:17 AM
You should have included everything in the link though so we could see the whole article. Well, Elon Musk is smart when it comes to technology. He might have seen the potential of Bitcoin in the future. They might not use Bitcoin today, it will come in time when Bitcoin solve most of its problem which will give way for Elon to use it.
1402  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Exhanges - South Korea on: March 05, 2019, 02:05:23 PM
That's one way to stop those manipulators. Maybe other medium to big exchanges do that too. That's why I use decentralized exchanges now for trading and transacting. I seldom use centralized exchanges anymore because of these issues and more, like security. Be careful guys.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The worst story continues again. on: March 05, 2019, 11:50:04 AM
Worst? not at all. I think you are only exaggerating it. It's all natural and nothing seems bad about it. To be honest, we are currently in a natural state of growth. We often see $4000 now. Although it's not that stable, at least we are getting there. Some good news is being laid and halving is almost coming. Just wait.
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Changes in ICO platform must be done! on: March 05, 2019, 11:40:27 AM
The only problem here is that there are far more scam ICO than legit ones which is why ICO is slowly diminishing. This legit ICOs are like a needle hidden in a stack of hay, you can't find it but when you do, it's too late. I think regulation would be good enough to separate this one. A solid rule that needs to be followed before people could invest. Like for example, proof that they are really legit and working on something, some security that would prevent the scam from happening. I think a good example of this is Binance Launchpad.
1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to relieve stress from "crypto" scammers when all you value is bitcoin? on: March 05, 2019, 11:26:11 AM
I agree with it somehow. Bitcoin should be the only one and the true cryptocurrency. Most altcoins are shit and don't deserve anything. To be honest, I just ignore them and focus more on the real thing that would really change the world, which is Bitcoin. Stay away from scam coins which is called shitcoins. But of course, there are some good altcoins to consider because they help Bitcoin grow,  for example advertisement or something. Take note, altcoins do have some good effects on Bitcoin. For me, altcoins kind of help reduces transaction fees from exchange to exchange or exchange to a wallet.
1406  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining Sites on: March 05, 2019, 10:44:17 AM
Never ever invest in this Bitcoin mining sites, especially those cloud mining sites. You'll only lose money because most of them are scams. They seem good to be true but they end up being a pain. It's safer and more profitable to just buy Bitcoin directly in trusted exchanges.
1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN GLORIOUS DAYS MIGHT JUST BE HERE on: March 04, 2019, 11:55:48 PM
I heard the news too from some source. US dollars is getting weaker it seems. It is more likely that China and Russia will lead to the rejection of dollars because we know how Russia's and China's are getting stronger each day. As for cryptocurrency. People won't migrate to Bitcoin immediately. Since the risk is still high enough, they won't do it but they will consider it.
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give up yet on: March 04, 2019, 01:07:56 PM
I agree. Profit should be set aside for now and we should focus more on helping the community of cryptocurrency to grow. The more we think about what happened last year, the more likely we'll give up. Let's just look on the bright side. With the creation of Bitcoin, thousands of population are able to do things that are impossible to do without Bitcoin.
1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet statement again on: March 04, 2019, 07:10:22 AM
Let him be. At this point, people are already getting tired of him. People are to decide what he/she is going to do with cryptocurrency. I don't really like him either though. I think he is secretly trying to accumulate Bitcoin too, lowering Bitcoin's price by making bad statements.
1410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how with 5G be with bitcoin? on: March 04, 2019, 07:05:41 AM
I'm really not against it. If it would help our future grow in the right direction, then why not give it a chance? speed could make a huge difference now. Although it might not be as useful as 4g for now, I'm sure some other things would benefit from it.
1411  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I sold my litecoin twice on Cryptopia on: March 04, 2019, 06:49:10 AM
Man, that's super lucky. To be honest I would just report the bug that happened in their exchange but I won't return the money. It's like a reward for finding a bug that will help their security be more tighten. No hating but free money is still free money. I know most of us would agree but won't say it. The thing here is that you helped the exchange while making money from it.
1412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: facebook creates his own crypto on: March 03, 2019, 10:52:49 PM
Nevertheless their coin will benefit from a lot of eyeballs, but it is going to be a stable coin and probably kind of centralized so not really worrying about a bitcoin competitor. Still kind of nice to see big companies starting to get into cryptocurrencies. Means that sooner or later we will see a lot of funds pumping bitcoin to the pleiades.
If this coin will become a stable there's no reason for investors to buy it and people to use it because this will just cost transaction fee from fiat conversion and another transaction fee from crypto to service. you're right no need to worry about bitcoin if ever it touches the market ground.

It's going to be a stable coin for sure but there will be some reason for investors to invest in it. I'm sure it would have some features that Bitcoin do not which will surely drive those investors to them. I don't see a threat in here. In fact, it's another good news for Bitcoin to get known. It's ironic how they banned cryptocurrency in the past but now they are making one.
1413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with these Binance ICOs? on: March 03, 2019, 02:07:06 PM
Technically that's the main reason why. Binance is one of the largest exchange and reputation is what's keeping them. If an ICO is in Binance, it means that it is reputable and that it is legit which makes it good for investing. Investors are smart now. ICOs here in the forum is dead. Only those who can survive are those backed by large companies.
1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: March 03, 2019, 02:39:05 AM
What is KYC? It means knowing your customer. In KYC some requirements are required such as: Full Name, Residence address, Citizenship, Birth date, Photo of government issued ID (Driver’s License, Passport, ID card),
Social Security number or Tax Identification, Bank Statement, Utility Bill, Photo of bank card .

I honestly think kyc should be stopped for bounty hunters, reason being that we are not buying the token of the project ,rather we are rendering services  to create awareness for the project. Which ought to be paid for.

In another view, if a bounty hunter has to go through KYC ,then it should be at the start of the bounty, during registration, if accepted or passed, then you go on with the bounty.

I did a bounty which i passed, and earned some amount of the token, but i failed kyc and my effort was gone just like that, after rendering my services to them by promoting the project. I got really pained.

This is just an example of what is happening.

What do you all really think about kyc for bounty hunters?
Having this issue with you is really painful but you should've read their bounty campaign terms and conditions before joining it will be stated there by the campaign manager or will just announce on the telegram. Partially agree with this but for my view on it, they are just preventing account spamming to have more stakes on one person so KYC is just for fairness to all participants.

No, most bounty campaigns don't put any information about future KYC to be implemented. They can just put it anytime or after the bounty campaign if they want and bounty hunters wouldn't able to anything about it. Reading the terms and conditions doesn't help to inform participants about KYC.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could be used to pay for Bills, load and for travel in the Philippines on: March 03, 2019, 02:35:16 AM
Yes, the Philippines is already adopting the concept of micro-transaction where people are able to use Bitcoin to buy small things. With this, anything can be possible. I'm amazed on how this country permits the usage of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency but the regulation is not that heavy.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Screwed Up on: March 03, 2019, 02:15:00 AM
There's just no way that you could get that funds again mate. The blockchain is built this way. You should be careful next time in sending funds. Or probably some virus somehow got into your computer. If I were you, I would scan my whole computer and change passwords.
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: March 02, 2019, 02:52:26 AM
It is starting. They are making a smart move by going to be the first big company to adopt cryptocurrency on their phone. That would really help Bitcoin get well known to the world. By being the first, they are readying themselves for the upcoming years where cryptocurrency will grow even further. Certainly good news.
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not asking for the best altcoin investment, but....... on: March 02, 2019, 02:41:14 AM
Those who are in the top 20 are probably going to follow the bull this time. Like Ethereum for example. It was always in the top 2 spots, and when the bull came in 2017, it pumps so much. I would say invest in Ethereum. In terms of profit, you could say BHC has still potential because it is being handled by a good businessman. Although it sucks, you could gain some profit from it.
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Real places where you can spend your Bitcoins today on: March 02, 2019, 12:12:53 AM
I only know one here in my country which is coins.ph. You could buy game credits, mobile loads, gift cards, and a lot more. This is a company that handles your Bitcoin wallet which makes it easier for the users. It is very convenient and would really increase your productivity in terms of services.
1420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Can Now Buy Movie Tickets Using Bitcoin In Brazil on: March 01, 2019, 11:59:25 PM
I wonder how much would it cause in Bitcoin? I mean the fee would hurt those people who bought using Bitcoin in a sense that it would cause more. Also, it would take a lot more because miners need to confirm before the cinema could process the ticket. I wonder how would people use it though and how many.
