2181  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: April 18, 2022, 12:26:28 PM
We have heard all the news about countries deciding to make bitcoin as legal, the latest being Russia and Ukraine as they both are also in some political problem. Obviously with this new statement that has been made on bitcoin status in those countries, it could be regulated by the government.
What is your expectation of bitcoin ?
I don't know for sure if Russia and Ukraine actually decided to make bitcoin legal in their countries. But if it's true then I'm sure many countries that previously didn't accept bitcoin will change their minds too to accept bitcoin to use it as legal tender as El Salvador has done. Even due to the adoption of bitcoin as a legal tender, now the tourism industry in El Salvador has soared by more than 30%. Therefore, I believe that in the future many countries in the world will take the example of El Salvador to legalize bitcoin in order to increase state revenues.

I don't know about Ukraine, because there is a war going on there right now and a lot of people are officially donating cryptocurrency to this country, bitcoin among others, so you can probably say about the legal status of cryptocurrencies in Ukraine. But about Russia so far it is only a rumour. There is no official status of cryptocurrencies in Russia and there never has been. Moreover, I've heard that here it is possible to introduce criminal responsibility for storing cryptocurrencies on non-custodial and non-exchange wallets. I really don't know if this is a fud or not yet.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 18, 2022, 07:45:42 AM
Nearly half an hour of the game I've watched. The French team was very defensive against this opponent. They do not want to concede any goals, but Marseille are unlikely to score. There was never any doubt they would win the league. They don't have any competition at all. I don't think this team is ready to win the champions league with the way they play. There needs to be more competition within the French league! It's always the strongest team that wins.

Both teams played completely defensively here. The Marseille players did not attack much. Perhaps the goal of both teams was to draw the match. But after leading 2-1 in the first half, PSG played more defensively in the second half. Marseille, on the other hand, possessed the ball but was reluctant to attack. In the 90th minute, they were able to make only one on-target shot. PSG ensured their title win in this match.
I think both teams didn't play defensively, they just barely played. I agree that perhaps the main aim was to play to a draw. PSG do not have much motivation because they are in first place in the standings and can be said to have become the Ligue 1 champions ahead of schedule. And Marseille were playing after the Europa League match when the players should have been given a rest.
2183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 18, 2022, 06:50:30 AM
Sevilla played well against Real Madrid yesterday. Anyway, the first half with two goals looked promising. But Real Madrid prevented them from earning three points by beating them in the second half, showing who the champions' skill is. Now Barcelona must take the points from Cadiz. I think Barcelona will score a lot after losing in the Europa League.
2184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Desktop wallet vs Mobile wallet on: April 17, 2022, 05:35:12 PM
I don't see much difference between a mobile wallet and a desktop wallet. If you're careful, there's no problem with either one. But I agree that it is better to use a hardware wallet for more security. Still, the most convenient to use is mobile wallet, because you can transfer your coins at any time, while to use hardware wallet you have to go back home to your computer.
2185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 17, 2022, 10:43:47 AM
I don't know if Sevilla can beat Real Madrid tonight, but they have a chance to get to second place in the standings, moving Barcelona. But I don't think Real Madrid will allow them to give up their points. The last time Sevilla won was a few years ago and it probably won't happen today.
2186  Other / Archival / Re: MetaMask makes friends with Bitcoin on: April 17, 2022, 08:09:52 AM
This will be very convenient for many users, especially since there are so many people using Metamask. It is probably one of the most popular wallets. Probably also convenient to trade on DEX exchanges. Most likely, new applications like Sushi Swap will be created for that, to buy and sell bitcoins decentralized directly from browser.
2187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA had a potential like Ethereum on: April 17, 2022, 07:35:42 AM
If ADA had been a successful project like ETH, it would have been as popular a long time ago. Right now it is just a hype project. It might as well call XLM a promising blockchain like ETH. It seems to me that DOT or ATOM will be more successful in the future than ADA. Just because the project has risen in value doesn't mean anything.
2188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 16, 2022, 11:09:48 AM
Milan are back in first place, but they have played one more game than Inter Milan. Lazio have a chance to get into the European cup zone today, but they need to beat Torino to do so, which is not very easy. The last two games between these teams ended in a draw. Moreover, Torino didn't lose their last game away to Milan.
two Milan teams won easily. both are currently in stiff competition. I don't think any of them have to drop points with the rest of the season if they don't want to lose their place in the first place in the table. both must be consistent because it will determine who will be the champion this season.

Lazio will be playing at home and they have been very strong at times, winning the last 2 matches. I think Lazio will be able to win the game against Torino.
Most interestingly, the next match will be the Milan derby between Inter Milan and AC Milan. This match will decide the league lead, unless of course there is a draw. I dare not guess who will win this match as both teams are indeed playing very well. The only thing is that Inter Milan have one less game to play.

Milan have a very good chance of climbing up the standings. But they need to beat Genoa to do so. It seems like an easy task, but Milan have drawn their last two games. If they don't take the opportunity to earn easy points today as well, I don't know what can help them.
2191  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: April 15, 2022, 05:50:59 PM
Classically, a new ATH at bicoin happened after the halving. The last halving was in 2020, the new ATH happened in 2021. If this logic is followed, the next peak could be seen in 2025 after the halving in 2024. Right now it does not look like we will see a high price any time soon. I would wait a few years.
2192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Sanctions Will Spur the Adoption of Crypto and Reduce USD Dominance - IMF on: April 15, 2022, 11:48:56 AM
Asides countries that broke out from Russia, Countries Like China, Iran and India will sure trade and affiliate with Russia since they've been supportive of them even in the USSR as of old.
Russia despite the sanctions has seen it's Rubble increase han the way it was even before the invasion, I think a lil bit higher than the USD.
The adoption of Bitcoin seems slow, and I think and considers going slow at times a good move.
Bitcoin adoption is unlikely and Russia will go the way of China. It is now a major strategic partner for Russia, which has completely banned all cryptocurrencies and their mining. Russia needs to strengthen its national currency and adopting bitcoin will weaken it. Moreover, the Central Bank is categorically against cryptocurrencies.
2193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 15, 2022, 05:44:48 AM
That's Eintracht Frankfurt! Took more shots than Barcelona and won the away game. I don't know what Barcelona were thinking, but not scoring a single goal in the whole game and then scoring two goals in the final minutes is very funny. Glasgow Rangers put on a show too, but they were lucky Braga earned a red card in the first half.
The most efficient way of utilizing opportunities in the 90 minutes was to not score a single goal in the 90 minutes and then score two goals in the final minutes. In a shock defeat at home, Barcelona, who were favored to win the Europa League Title, tumbled to a disappointing finish. Not only are they losing, but they did it in complete disgrace. Naturally, they continue losing to unknown teams, as some unknown team is destroying them in their own backyard. It is no wonder why Frankfurt is so good. We wish them luck in the league. We congratulate them.
But the final will be even more interesting and unpredictable. I think that Leipzig and West Ham will play in the final, although the English are facing a much stronger opponent than Glasgow Rangers. But West Ham also easily beat Lyon away, scoring three goals. By the way, one of the teams scored three goals in all matches yesterday, but West Ham scored three no-answer.

Leipzig are dominating so far, but all is not yet lost for Atalanta; if they can score, they have a chance to snatch victory in extra time. In football, it's very often the final minutes that decide. As was the case in Chelsea's last game against Real Madrid.
2196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About the need to end anonymity in cryptocurrencies due to the scams. Coinbase. on: April 14, 2022, 11:54:52 AM
If you don't know how to use your money, it's nobody's fault but your own. Many people lose money by investing in pyramid schemes or giving fraudsters their personal credit card details. It's the same with cryptocurrencies, if you are careless with cryptocurrencies, you will sooner or later get scammed. Speaking of anonymity, common scammers who scam people with non-digital assets rarely get caught by the cops either.
2197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 14, 2022, 07:36:58 AM
Benfica really surprised with their brazenness away against Liverpool! Probably no one has played Liverpool like that before this season. Only Milan managed to score 2 goals against Liverpool, so we could say that Benfica set a record by scoring three goals. It will be interesting to see how Liverpool play Villarreal.
2198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 13, 2022, 12:00:13 PM
After yesterday's matches, you can't be sure of anything. But I think both English clubs will win today. In any case, Benfica will not win against Liverpool. Atletico Madrid will of course try to create problems for Manchester City, but I do not think they can win even on home field.
2199  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will rise on: April 13, 2022, 07:23:26 AM
This could've served to be a start for new bullish move, but there is also accumulation of big volumes by the whales. With specific time period the market of bitcoin bounced crossing major resistance barriers. It looks like the market is experiencing series of change. This change is expected to make positive impact on the market, but nothing big have changed.

The current Bitcoin drop maybe caused by the market circulation. Btc will have to experience a long correction and allow the market to consolidate to give opportunity to buy back and accumulate as a preparation for another bullish run.
Another run might take a little time from now, but will definitely change.
We can't be expecting a positive price action especially that we are facing a series of crisis that have affected most of the market including crypto.

I think the current fall in bitcoin will not be long term. As you say, you can see a crisis in all markets right now, inflation is very high in many countries, including the US. This situation can have a positive impact on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, because bitcoin is first of all not subject to inflation, and there are about 2 million left to mine.

Chelsea showed great football, scoring three away goals. Honestly, I thought it was almost impossible, but they did it. I already thought they could win this game, but at the end of the match Real Madrid scored a goal and the whole game broke down. Shame that Chelsea didn't go on, but Real Madrid were good too. But I think they won't play in the final again this year.
