ETH is going to fail. It is a dead man walking. The only thing saving it is the sating is frozen and zero profit come out of the staked coins at the moment.

Eth will likely hold price as the big boys slowly sell it off. Most won't realize that scam until the stake coins are unlocked in late 2023 or even 2024.
Are you saying that unstaking is impossible?
According to statistics, there are not very many coins in staking, it is 12 percent. If there were 50% of the coins in staking, then I would be afraid of massive sales after unstaking.

To all crypto miners who still believe in gpu mining is there anyone using RTX4090 already for mining? What hashrate are you getting off the graphic card and which coin is the most friendly for mining on the RTX4090, also I need information on watt consumption and heat, this is urgent, I will drop more information later.
Is this information not enough for you?
https://whattomine.com/gpus/79-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4090?cost=0.1&cost_currency=USD
Maybe you can get a little better power consumption, but this video card has the same problems as the RTX 3090. And then you will have the dilemma: making expensive cooling or opening warranty seals and changing thermal pads with thermal paste.

you know my 3090ti cards have cool memory numbers I have 4 from evga all of them have ram in the 76-86c range with 300- 305 watts

https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=24G-P5-4983-KR

look at the two 3090ti in open air rig below

I understand that you have chosen good video cards with a good cooling system, but not everyone is so lucky.
My colleagues have problems with these graphics cards and have been forced to deal with overheating issues. I have a lot of cheap open cases and don't want to spend money on closed cases or extra ventilation.

Can you add to mining ETC / ETH, mining a second coin on the Heavyhash algorithm?
What is the difference from the dual mining settings with the Кaspa coin?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2759935.msg61089782#msg61089782

KASPA has a different algorithm - KHeavyhash
If KHeavyhash and Heavyhash are similar algorithms, then what is stopping you from starting dual mining?
If when you start dual mining with Heavyhash, the hashrate drops a lot on two coins, then this makes no sense.
When the guides come out, the profit will already end.
2185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RTX 4090 and others on: November 13, 2022, 09:32:15 AM
I don't know do you have any links for it?
In terms of Efficiency, dual mining with ALPH and KAS gives more profit. But this is the opinion of other miners, not mine. I cannot verify this.

2186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Intel enters desktop dGPU market on: November 13, 2022, 09:13:57 AM

In my city, a RX 480 8 GB costs about $80, if you buy more than 10 video cards, it's even cheaper. There are a lot of ads for the sale of old video cards. I am sure that this video card will give a profit if new coins appear, so I do not waste time selling.

Yeah maybe, but for me it is time to say good by to this good old ladies  Cheesy. They do the job very well for years. When i get around $80 - amazing, this 40% of the purchase price 5 years ago (i bought only used cards at this time).

Intel ARC A750 reported hashrates with nanominer, i let it run for some days for poolside hashrate:

ETC:
51.8Mh/s @ 182w - GPU-Z show 172w - Powerlimit set to 190w
51Mh/s @ 150w - GPU-Z show 140w - Powerlimit set to 140w
49MH/s @ 130w - GPU-Z show 120w - Powerlimit set to 120w

measured including riser with Elmorlabs PMD.
At the moment the OC is very rudimentary, but i will test a bit more the next days to increase the efficiency.
BZminer support this GPU´s, but the hashrate is very low - ETC = around 25mh@190w ERG = around 44mh@130w

Also an important point, if the DAG is growing, the hashrate decrease - ETHW test gave me 2mh lower hashrates with the same settings. At the moment i don´t know why (TLB maybe like Nvidia Pascal or it is a miner problem)

I hope other miner developer keep an eye on this cards in the future. Teamredminer or lolminer can do a better job i am sure.
Try the latest lolMiner 1.62

Added basic support for Intel Arc Desktop GPUs on the following algorithms: ETC, ETC+KAS (1), Kaspa, Flux, Ergo, Beam (2) & Equihash 144/5 (2). Fees are equal to Nvidia and AMD GPUs on the corresponding algorithms. Tested Intel OpenCL driver versions are 22.24.23453 and 22.32.23937.

It may take more time to optimize mining software and drivers if intel wants to increase sales.

lolMiner 1.62
Changes
Added basic support for Intel Arc Desktop GPUs on the following algorithms: ETC, ETC+KAS (1), Kaspa, Flux, Ergo, Beam (2) & Equihash 144/5 (2). Fees are equal to Nvidia and AMD GPUs on the corresponding algorithms. Tested Intel OpenCL driver versions are 22.24.23453 and 22.32.23937.
Added support for mining Alephium in non-dual mode for Nvidia Pascal GPUs and newer. Use --algo ALEPH to mine it. Fee is 0.75%.
Slight performance improvement for Kaspa non-dual on Nvidia GPUs.
Added Aeternity Cuckoo 29 & Grin Cuckatoo 32 kernels for RX 6600 and RX 6700 series GPUs.
Updated web ui for supporting Intel GPUs, more pools and coins.
--cclk for locking core clock and --mclk for locking memory clock now work for Nvidia Pascal and Turing GPUs (3).
If --cclk or --mclk are used to lock clocks, these will now be reset on lolMiner exit.
Added reading of junction temperature and memory temperature for Nvidia GPUs for drivers 515 or newer.
Re-arranged nonce consumption for Kaspa to allow pools with 3 bytes extra-nonce without (too many) duplicate shares.
Linux: Added reading of GPU power draw and core clock on Intel Arc GPUs.
(1) Only on the 8G+ Intel GPUs: A580, A750 and A770.
(2) Beam and Equihash are experimental on Intel GPUs. Also see known issues when running multiple cards.
(3) Needs admin / sudo privileges. Tested 460.93 driver and higher. --mclk should only be used to mine core intense coins like Kaspa or Aleph in order to reduce power draw by the memory. Recommended value in this case: 810.

So it is not so convenient, there is little performance maybe i will try for a while with ravencoin, if instead i wanted to add a gpu to it what would you recommend between nvidia gtx 1650 and amd rx 580 they cost almost the same
The GTX 1650 has 4gb of ram, if you want graphics card with 4gb of ram you'd better get a rx470/570, they're very cheap.
Another problem is to buy these video cards in good condition, because most of them are after mining.
If you mine Ethereum forks, then for the next year, the performance of Rx 580 8 GB and Rx 470 4 GB and energy consumption will be the same.
But these video cards should only be bought if you have very cheap or free electricity.

2192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: List of Newest Coins That can be Mined with GPU on: November 11, 2022, 08:17:19 AM
I think so far from what I've looked into... FP91G had the best source... https://miningpoolstats.stream/ is a place I had not been to before. You can sort by new coins and it's a list of things that can be mined. Looks like pretty much what I was looking for! Thanks. If you have additional resources like this, I'd be happy to see them!
All beginners repeat the mistakes of other miners that we made many years ago. I also mined different shitcoins instead of mining popular coins and only got a loss. Mining hobby will quickly become uninteresting when you have expensive electricity and your investments only give you a loss.

We maybe have another ETH in its beginning,I know most people will look at this statement with much reserve but this is only my personal opinion which I am giving also as an advice to newbies so they don't go and mine shitcoins.Right now the difficulty of ETHW coin is extremely low at just 368 T and the price of this coin is also low, meaning most people are not at all interested in this.It is exactly this time which can be called a good one to mine as much as you can with your rigs, even at a loss would make sense for me,I would not buy it rather mine it keeping track everyday in my wallet and enjoying everyday a bit more of this coin.

This I suggest to people who wanna start a small rig with 1-3 cards to test the waters or those who want to try as hobby, sure there are a lot of other coins but I doubt any of them has the same potential which ETHW has.Imagine if ETHW goes just the 50% of all time high of ETH which is 2000 dollars or a bit more and you have mined like 500-1000 of this coin, isn't this a life changing event?
I saw your post about mining farm with 150 mhsh hashrate. The calculator shows a profit of 0.045, even possibly 0.05 ETHW per day
You will receive 500 ETHW coins in 10,000 days, which is more than 27 years.
For your 500 dollars you will now buy 120 coins, or you will be mining these coins for more than 6.5 years. But if the price of ETHW rises, then this period will increase.
Therefore, I advise all beginners to learn how to use a calculator. And if an experienced user like you wants to mine coins, then I wish you success.

I just want like 25-50 ETHW and I will sit idle then,I hope to make them by 14 months which are left to the end of the year 2023 and then see what to do,I bought the rig as a gamble but a gamble worth taking because the prediction for this coin hopefully will surpass the prices of ETH coin.Maybe the price of this coin is stupidly low but I know a lot of Dapps or at least I heard that many had already joined in this coin offering,I know with the passing of time it will catch up and offer all the things that the old ETH offered,it is at that time that I predict the highest price of this coin and it is at that time that success will come.I hope to have at a minimum 25 of such coins which would be more than 100.000 dollars if the ETHW hits the all time of ETH,I know that I am just investing/gambling time and resources into this coin but it is the only one I believe from the coins left to mine.I have already explained why I don't believe in buying coins because you will be not that up to date with what is happening as you are while mining every day so I thank you for good wishes.
I understand that profit is not relevant for you now and you want to increase the number of coins in your wallet. And the lower the price of the coin, the more coins you get every day. But if in 2023 the price of ETHW grows, then the number of coins received will decrease due to the arrival of new miners.
So it's better to buy now Smiley

Can i mine ethw or etc for some profit with a vega 11 integrated into the amd ryzen 5 if yes can i overclock it? better settings?
How did you come up with this? I really like your questions Smiley
Integrated graphics in the central processor is very much inferior in performance to discrete graphics cards, because there are fewer cores and other computing modules. It is more profitable to buy RX 470 4 GB to get more profit.
2194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA has reportedly removed LHR from its newest drivers on: November 11, 2022, 08:01:27 AM
Any question that starts with "is it true" is just trying to stir up shit.

No anti-LHR was 100% because there was no reference to compare against until now.

LHR is dead. Update your drivers, stop using anti-LHR and move on.
LHR died when ethereum mining ended. It is not profitable to mine Ethereum forks on the 3000 series of Geforce video maps.
We sometimes discuss old video cards, because for 70-80 dollars you can get 30 megahash on the Ethash algorithm.

It is profitable for me to mine ETC with my 3060ti with the new non-LHR drivers.  I can't be alone.  I'm sure many others who have made cheap electricity a point in their lives are also able to turn a profit with 3xxx series GPUs.  This is probably when they are still not as cheap as one would think given the supply hanging over the GPU market at the moment.  As far as this thread is concerned, I have also confirmed that the latest Nvidia drivers do not include the LHR that has plagued so many of us the last couple of years.
How much profit do you get? 15-20 cents from a 3060ti video card per day.
Even if I had 10 such video cards and free electricity, then I pay $10 for the Internet. The profit is very doubtful, and the breakdown of video cards is real.
2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to choose the Gpus to start the crypto mining? on: November 11, 2022, 07:51:36 AM
I am shocked by your advice.
The 3090 video card is shit in mining for a beginner. This video card is expensive and it heats up. If you were an experienced miner, then the purchase is possible, but not for a beginner.
If you have free electricity, then you need to find a miner with video cards and divide the profit by 50% each.
You do not have risks and you do not need to spend money, and if you have extra money, then it is better to invest in cryptocurrency.
Finding a miner now will not be a big problem.

Thanks for your information.
It's better to invest in cryptos directly in this market. Just see the prices after the FTX collapse. It's a good chance to buy in, isn't it?
I would not buy FTX token and other doubtful coins. I bought Litecoin for $55 about a month ago and I don't regret it. I don't buy Solana and other POS shit.
ETHW is now more profitable to buy, a mining farm of 1000 megahash will give you 0.3 coins per day. Even with free electricity, it's less than $10 a month. Instead of buying a glass of coffee and a cake, it is better to buy cryptocurrency.

Wasn't the FTX drama the thing that caused the crash of Bitcoin from the last 24 hours because Binance bought it or I am confusing it.I strongly agree with you, every PoS coin is not Proof of Stake but Piece of **** and they are doomed to fail miserably inevitably.

ETHW is my favorite also and I make near 0.06 ETHW a day, waiting for that glorious day when ETHW will fully replace ETH in all its options, glory and price.

Of course it is better to buy everyday 5 USD crypto every day rather than drinking a coffee in the morning like most of us Europeans do,and 5 is an ETHW daily which I think is a great buy.
A fall in the price of bitcoin by several thousand dollars will not be a strong drama for the cryptocurrency market.
If ETHW does not solve the problems with the speed of transactions, then it will be a very slow blockchain. Or the cost of transactions will be high, as it was in the ethereum.

Intel Arc A750 and its approximate hashrate

I looked at the info from a foreign friend (approximate consumption)

ETC 50 Mh/s - 190 W
       48 Mh/s - 116 W

He did not test on other algos ... as I understand it ... there are no miners under Intel ...

Not bat at all for 1st gen intels cards.it is like rtx3060.looks good for me.
For the first video cards, this is a very good indicator. Maybe the potential of these video cards will be revealed a little later, but today the purchase of any video cards for mining is unprofitable.
I remember the Intel Larrabee project in 2009 and 12 years later the company was able to make a decent GPU.

My A750 arrive today - i will show you my results, i think i can beat it  Cheesy. Did you tried BZminer?
It will be interesting for me to read information about your tests in mining. I don’t see the point in mining now, because of the very small profit. My graphics cards have paid for themselves several times over, so I will be waiting for new mining opportunities.
I don't sell or buy video cards now.

Sure i don´t buy new cards for all of my rigs at the moment. Only small things to play with it and to help to optimize BZminer a bit. The A750 should be good enough for 60mh, but we need more optimized miner. Most of my cards are polaris and p106, this cards paid of several times, but i sell it now slowly and next year i will begin to buy newer used cards.

In my city, a RX 480 8 GB costs about $80, if you buy more than 10 video cards, it's even cheaper. There are a lot of ads for the sale of old video cards. I am sure that this video card will give a profit if new coins appear, so I do not waste time selling.

There used to be a lot of hype back then when Chia was the "new kid in town". Many people rushed to buy HDDs (Hard Disk Drives) just to mine Chia for profit. Before Chia launched, there was a coin called "Burst" which was also based on HDD mining. This old coin didn't turn out to become much of a success unlike its successor (Chia). For quite some time now, there's been silence regarding the HDD mining industry. The whole crypto space is focused on PoS coins that are centralized by design. It makes me wonder whenever the HDD mining hype is over or if there's a possibility of a comeback? After all, HDD mining is much more accessible than staking.

What do you think? Is the HDD mining hype is over? If so, do you think there will be a comeback? Why mining with HDDs isn't as popular as mining with GPUs or ASICs? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
According to HDD miners, the payback of a hard drive in mining is now much better than that of miners on video cards. When the CHIA cost $1,500, the miners bought the equipment, but now the CHIA costs $30. The NDD mining farm has a big plus in terms of low energy consumption, but the profit is also very low now.
