2181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Threatens Bitcoin Community in Surprise Conference Speech on: July 04, 2017, 08:00:30 PM
I am very confused now so what will all this mean for Bitcoin in August? Will there be a hardfork with a new 2nd Bitcoin chain or are they trying to stop that from happening? I would like to be enlightened as to what exactly they want to do and what this will accomplish in the end?
If the battle is going to step up from what i heard from the conference then we will have a hard fork and we will have a split, things are getting really interested and i am looking forward about what is the end result,do they destroy bitcoin or does we get a good technology ,just waiting to see all the dramas unfolding.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 20 Bitcoin Sportsbooks on: July 04, 2017, 07:41:58 PM
I do not think this is a valid list of sports book,Nitrogen is the legit bitcoin based gambling site in that list and then we could say cloudbet ,other than that i have not even heard about those sports books listed in the list, they have not even advertised in this site and by the way this forum is where all the bitcoiners come to review things and most of the sites in the list are alien.

2184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: July 03, 2017, 09:51:54 PM
Simple I buy into only projects I like. I stay away from shitcoins. They are not worth the headache
How do you identify a shit coin and a good project. Wink

With a good trading strategy in forex I set up my stop loss then sell or buy of course I trade with amount I can afford to loss therefore removing any form of emotiom or fear. Emotion and fear is a major threat to trading which should be adequately taken care.
Why is there a stop loss ,the simple reason is fear, whether the price would go down and if so you do not want to see your asset value going down  Grin
It is really hard to trade in a bear market but in the real stock exchange i usually invest when there is a major correction rather than investing in a bull market.
2185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 03, 2017, 09:41:06 PM
Indian female cricket team taken a revenge against Pakistan, they have shown the power and performance by beating Pakistan female cricket team, but Pakistan cricket team also played well in the bowling side but they have been failed to chase 189 runs, which was very much disappointing.
First thing you must understand is that Pakistan Women has never defeated Indian Women till now and so it is not a big surprise, the only disappointing thing is that they are not getting any media attention like the men's team is getting.Things have to change in India when it comes to sports as majority of the media attention goes only to men's cricket and not to other sporting events.
2186  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Faucets on: July 03, 2017, 09:21:43 PM
I am not sure there are many faucet sites currently ,there was a time when faucets was the way to make a start in the bitcoin echo system and then there was faucet box which made many faucet sites possible and they had to close down because things were not smooth when the transaction fees increased and google banned faucet advertisement. If you think you can make bits using faucets, then good luck with it.
2187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outcome of Horn vs. Pacquiao on: July 03, 2017, 09:11:19 PM
It was just a robbery without a doubt, what i am looking is that if Manny Pacquiao will challenge the decision, their management must take this decision because no one in the right sense would think that Horn won the fight and one the judges scored 111 to 117 which is madness and the two other judges scored the same score which makes me think this is fixed.
2188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 213: Nunes vs Shevchenko 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: July 03, 2017, 08:31:13 PM
The point is does Nunes really have that problem coming in this match, this time around?  Sure one can argue she has a 'weak' gas tank, my argument is fighters adapt and evolve.  Nunes knows where she's weak and what needs to be worked on and work and train hard on that.  She's a champ, there's a reason why she's up there.  She def won't be going in there octagon with a 'weak' gas tank.
If you look at the record of Amanda Nunes she has four losses and only one went to the decision the rest two is TKO losses and one loss on the ground,in her last fight against Valentina Shevchenko she dominated the first two rounds and when she could not finish her and Shevchenko fought her when she went to the ground and in the third round she took the fight to Nunes and the bell saved Nunes ,if not she could have finished her.Look at the record of Valentina Shevchenko, look at her kick boxing record and she has two wins as a professional boxer and in her fight against Holly Holmes she was the better striker and that too against a world class boxer,so if Nunes is not able to finish her in the first two rounds then it is going to be a long night. 2189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS] Poland blocks illegal fiat gambling sites. on: July 03, 2017, 07:41:08 PM
but in all seriousness:if you have two competing services, for example
and one of the services gets banned or goes bankrupt, the second one is going to flourish,no?
same happens here, polish goverment will make it more difficult for poles to reach fiat gambling sites
some of them will start looking for other means to fuel their gambling addiction
and end up gambling with bitcoins, purchase more cryptocurrency and so on=good for bitcoin and adoption
I am not certain about the status of gamblers from Poland but i think majority of the countries does not have a strict rule regarding online gambling but majority of them bans them but people are using it anyway using VPN and lets see whether these fiat gamblers will come to crypto based gambling sites.I personally came to bitcoin based gambling sites because the bank statement shows that i am depositing money in gambling sites and to avoid those i started bitcoin based gambling sites.
2190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ladies and Gentlemen, Bitcoin is about to be Centralized on: July 03, 2017, 07:30:24 PM
If the US outright bans Bitcoin, it will be an end of the game for it

Indeed, it won't die, but the life which it will drag from then on will likely be worse than being dead. Obviously, if the US should ban Bitcoin, it won't ban it in the US territory alone. It will likely raise the issue at the UN Security Council, and how many countries do you think will reject this proposal given that Bitcoin is hated by almost every government out there (deep inside). Maybe, Japan will stand for Bitcoin? But Japan is basically a country with limited sovereignty. And who do you think its sovereign is? Right, the US, so there is no way that the world will keep on turning as before
It is really difficult to see a dumb decision being taken from a country like US as it gives the opportunity for technology and innovation to grow rather than shutting it down, bitcoin wont die unless the network shows some serious bugs and i am sure even that will be solved by the developers pretty soon as some brilliant brains are behind it.
2191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: July 03, 2017, 01:36:39 PM
risk of money laundering, proceeds from or funding of terrorism/crime, fraud
This is correct, money laundering and fight against financial crimes are the reasons for banning bitcoin, yet some of the countries ban bitcoin only not to lose tax. This is not fair clearly. To me, bitcoin should ve accessible by anyone in the world.
The countries who tried to ban bitcoin are just plain stupid as they did have not have anything better to do and they did not have the brains to understand the technology rather shut down the entire thing, the reason you said are not true to get a ban and most of the countries does not have a rule or law regarding bitcoin and other alt coins.
2192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao VS Horn (Boxing) on: July 03, 2017, 09:02:32 AM
I knew the pacman was done and he should have seen this coming, even though the judges might have cheated I still think he shouldn't have gone to this fight but should have kept remaining a politician and hanged those gloves after the mayweather fight but those greedy promoters urged him on. I think he shouldn't embarrass his illustrious career with these games and should call it quits.
The ability of a sports man to make as much as he can is a limited window and even at this age he is able to put some good matches and make million, the part is that he cannot come back five or eight years from now because in sports you could make money in a limited period and no one can blame anyone for making that kind of money with a single fight,be it Mayweather or Manny.
2193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 02, 2017, 10:18:11 PM
@ bbc.reporter , i do accept the fight would be boring as both are defensive fighters and most probably both will be waiting for the other to take the initiative, but media tour is coming to promote the fight and i am pretty sure it will be a hell lot entertaining as both talkers will promote the fight real hard. Cheesy
2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao VS Horn (Boxing) on: July 02, 2017, 10:02:24 PM
It just proved once again that boxing is corrupted to the core, these judges must be investigated,i am pretty sure that they have taken huge amount of money from gamblers to score the fight like that,if not no one in the right sense will accept those score card. This is what is wrong with boxing all the way and this is what destroying boxing.
2195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Odds 30+,Can i Win this Parlay? What are suspicious bets in my slip. (WON) on: July 02, 2017, 09:48:38 PM
Good luck with your big tryouts,i would really like to see you win one day. I have won some big parlays in the past and when that become an addiction i lost a lot too even with safe bets, most of my bets are football ,cricket and MMA related  Smiley , involving tennis in my parlay has given me more losses and some unexpected football upsets have cost me dearly in the past, waiting for the football season to start to start my crazy parlays.
2196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 02, 2017, 09:18:39 PM
Now India vs. WI and hope for another win. The score is low but already 3 wickets have fallen. They just need to be patient and with Dhoni playing, he'll be able to get those runs without taking risks.
To tell you the truth i was about to wage a 0.5 btc favoring India to win the match when the odds were 1.12 but then thought of letting it pass because i was not that interested in the match,it turns out that West Indies won the  match by 11 runs which is really crazy.
2197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 02, 2017, 12:58:59 PM
I thought Indian batting is strong and will try to make a high score to defend but looks like Pakistan women's team is similar to men's team, bowling pretty well. Hopefully India will win this.
This was expected before the match but now the Pakistan women just bowled out India for just 169 runs and it looks like it is just a repeat of the recent India Vs Pakistan in the final of the ICC tournament. Tongue It is a game for Pakistan to win chasing a low score.
2198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 213: Nunes vs Shevchenko 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: July 02, 2017, 12:32:22 PM
@ tokeweed , the problem with gas tank and stamina is,you cannot generate stamina in a month or two,you can just improve a bit,but it is all genetics, you either have it or you dont ,a sprinter cannot run a marathon ,it is how the body is built ,all they can do is minimize the movement and reserve the energy to last five rounds.
2199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC is the only coin to survive on: June 28, 2017, 11:05:01 AM
etc? so you want to support the daohacker who has stolen multimillions due that hack. Dream on, etc will remain as shitcoin.
You have to either support the hacker or a centralized application platform in ETH,hope you have seen what happened with ETH when a large amount of coins were dumped as the price crashed.Either way investing in both these coins has its risk and hence i am not a fan of both. Tongue
2200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao VS Horn (Boxing) on: June 28, 2017, 08:51:20 AM
He is always in good condition as I watched the news this morning and there is another fighter that wants to fight him after with Horn. And he said that he need to finish this match first before planning the next one. Looks like the retirement issue from him is just an hearsay and we'll still see more fights from him.
It looks like he is a good politician and he needs to raise funds for his charity and boxing is the only way to raise that kind of amount he needed and i think that is the reason he is coming back to fight again, other than that i do not find any reason because he already proved to the world who Manny is.
