1601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Billion People Will Be Using Cryptocurrency in 5 Years: Brian Armstrong on: February 26, 2019, 07:24:22 PM
This is not far from reality as the popularity of cryptocurrencies in the whole universe is continue to spread, more an more people are gettin interests on what, how and why they may gain or use crypto from the virtual to real world.imagine how huge amount people invested in here last 2017. AND large we can get in the newr future.so billion people is not impossible to attain
It is a huge task to reach the billion mark, but it will happen in the future as it is difficult to predict that kind of adoption in five years time, the huge amounts that you are talking about came from a few big investors and not because of mass adoption, in order to have mass adoption we need more merchants accepting bitcoin and if that is the case we will have those numbers pretty soon.
1602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investors now moving to gold on: February 24, 2019, 08:21:03 PM
I myself do not understand whether this is nonsense or indeed true. but in my opinion, not all investors will move to gold for reasons of liquidity and value storage, there may be some people who think that way, but in my opinion only a minority. very reasonable if they have the thought of moving to gold with the current situation. maybe some people think that gold has no risk compared to cryptocurrency at this time. maybe all of that is fairness.
This is just a pure speculation and there is nothing to back this statement, people invest in gold all the time and it is not a new thing, but how can they calculate that people who invested in bitcoin are moving away from this market and investing in gold, it is just an assumption and nothing else, the bitcoin market is down but that does not mean that people are moving away and investing elsewhere. The risk factor is an important aspect, gold is a safe investment without much downward movement but that cannot be said about any other market.
1603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Real estate for bitcoins your opinion on: February 22, 2019, 09:01:24 PM
very good,
but in 2018 there have been many emerging projects that have a vision and mission about real estate, so this can be a good breakthrough,
example of a blockchain project that makes real estate themes namely leaxcoin, builderium and swinca,
but I'm sure there are still a lot of projects about real estate, and this is really good for the development of cryptocurrency in the future.
You really do not need these projects for any seller to start accepting bitcoin and i am not sure how these projects will influence people into accepting cryptos, if the seller is ready to accept bitcoin then it is well and good and for that you just need to pitch that if you are planning to purchase the property with bitcoin, awareness is what is needed here and nothing else.
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: February 22, 2019, 08:35:06 PM
I am just curious to know if you can buy lottery tickets for your own national lottery in your country. I am not referring to all these scam gambling sites with supposed "Provably Fair" lottery systems.

I bought some lottery tickets online and I was only presented with the old traditional payment options and I figured it is time for us to approach these Lottery operators, to ask for a Bitcoin payment option.  Wink
I am really not sure whether they will be accepting because a few people suggested, but if there a huge petition and a percentage of their customers demand that they accept bitcoin, then they might consider, for me it is impossible to buy lotteries online as most of them are state run and online lotteries are illegal and they are shut by the government and i am not a fan of lotteries to begin with. Wink But if you think that you can influence any merchant to start accepting bitcoin, it is a good thing.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in an ICO? on: February 22, 2019, 06:31:34 PM
my advice, don't invest ico for the long term, because the price of the ico coin won't rise higher like bitcoin or etherum. to invest long term, ico is pretty good.
This is two contradicting views in one statement, you said that not to invest in ICO for the long term and yet you say to invest long term, which one is true.  Tongue I really do not believe in ICO now and never invested anything in any of these projects for the past one year, initially i made some investments and made my profits and then there was a wave of new projects and majority were scams and hence i stopped investing or wasting my time reading those white papers. If there is a big project with well known team then i will invest, other than that i will not waste my time.

1608  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: February 19, 2019, 06:49:16 PM
I am aware of the low payments from the hourly claims. I am just testing my luck and trying to hit that big claim reward. (0.05 or 0.005 ones) So far I too also got the second worst reward till now.

I was only trying get that big reward but then I couldn't resist and deposited $100 to get the captcha free claims and the sweet interest rate. (only a few hundred satoshis per day)

I probably make more from the interest payments than my hourly claims right now.
This is my first faucet and gambling experience in the bitcoin world when i started using faucets it was fun as the pay rate for most of the faucets were good a few years back i had won big amounts once in the past, i have not logged into the site for a very long time and it looks like a lot of changes have happened as you are talking about interest for your deposit and so on, which is a cool idea, have to recover my password to check back all those new features Smiley.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on ESPN 1: Ngannou vs Velasquez Prediction and Info Thread on: February 19, 2019, 05:43:59 PM
I told you guys Ngannou was the easy money, still can't believe he was the underdog. Velasques was bumped by UFC but his time is over, he isn't a good fighter anymore. #SadButTrue

Now let's wait another 3 years for the next Velasquez fight.
It was not an easy money before the fight, i had my doubts only because Velasquez is coming back after a long lay back and it is not that easy to take the big Ngannou down from the start, the reason i had a doubt with Ngannou is only because of their great match up between Derrick Lewis which ended up as the least strikes thrown in the history of UFC. You cannot judge Velasquez by the time he spent inside the cage now, one more fight and then we can judge whether he has to stop fighting.

What makes you think Swofty is “Letting things be”? I personally think Swofty gets paid today.
I am monitoring this case closely and i have seen many complaints against them in the past but they have solved them in my view and so is the reason they are active till now if not they would have closed by this time, you cannot scam any user and think about running a business here, so i hopefully think that they will sort this issue and since this is a huge amount i am not sure what they will be planning to do, if a players losses that amount they will be happy but looks like if someone wins it is difficult to get the coins.

1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 07, 2019, 12:31:56 AM
It looks like India will be using this T20 series to try out different players which I think is a good decision. The World Cup is the most important tournament in world cricket and teams would want to put their best teams out there once it starts and also see which players can perform well under pressure situations. Next T20 match will be interesting to see what team India selects.
If they want to test the players they should have done that during the one day series and not in the shorter format, may be the team has given rest to the main players who will make the world cup team so that new players will get some opportunity and if someone can perform really well and take the team to victory they will be getting more opportunity.
1614  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What if? Satoshi Nakamoto's identity was public information on: February 01, 2019, 08:52:39 PM
Secondly the image of Bitcoin. What if Satoshi is criminal with very serious convictions? What if the government makes it seem that way? Would this not hurt the image of Bitcoin? Yes Bitcoin is completely independent from Satoshi but if he was involved in some serious crimes the news agencies around the world would lap this up and spin a story to negatively effect Bitcoin. Plus governments might actually have a legitimate reason for banning the cryptocurrency and imprisoning those that use it. Probably not and thats probably a over exaggeration. But its a possibly.
You do not need to be a criminal but if his real identity is know any government could frame a case against him and put them behind bars, we know some examples before, just see the case of Julian Assange, he started a revolution exposing the government and revealing the truth to everyone, look at his situation now, he is in asylum and there were many cases framed for him too to lock him up for good and make him silent.
1615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Writers Predict Fiat Dollar Will Collapse and Rise Crypto on: August 13, 2018, 06:33:26 PM
The best-selling financial book writer "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" said Bitcoin would replace the US dollar, which he called "counterfeit money." In the April Sane Crypto podcast, author Robert Kiyosaki said the practice of printing more money in America was to create bubbles that would explode. "I think the dollar is toast because gold and silver and cyber currencies will take it," he said. "The US dollar is a fraud. I think we are watching the end of the dollar. "
This can be said against every currency in the world, there is no gold standard anymore and the governments are printing money as much as they want and the blockchain technology has the solution to counter it and make it more transparent, with this said we are yet to see any regulations coming up from major countries regarding how this market will be controlled and i am sure the governments will be imposing strict rules to make things harder for the investors.
1616  Economy / Economics / Re: Newbies panic & Old timers smile, when the Bitcoin price take a dip. on: August 13, 2018, 05:55:56 PM
Buy the Dip and Sell on the Spike for the highest return on your investment. No Signature campaign or Bounty campaign can beat a 800%+ increase in the price.
It is true that nothing can match the profit you could have made if you are not participating anything else and just investing in bitcoin, the price soared so high that anyone invested in it made a very huge profit, anyone can invest when the price goes down as everyone is expecting another rise like that in the future and the wise will make some profits, you cannot complain anyone if they are not able to take a huge risk as the market has its own risk as this is a new market.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty participant really the cause of dumping coins? on: August 12, 2018, 08:26:41 PM
many have blamed it for the bounty hunter. but when looking at the allocation given to the bounty hunter I think it is not the completely wrong bounty hunter. They also have things to sell and of course, the overall allocation is not great. There are other factors and the bounty hunter just a small part of it.
If someone is blaming the market situation to bounty hunters they are just dumb, they are just a small percentage of the entire structure and if the token has a strong base and vision these bounty hunters cannot be a major factor, i am not involved in any bounty programs for coins or tokens yet and i am not interested in it as there are ton of fake bounties. The real fact is that the market is in a tangle with regulations coming up and so on.
1618  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: July 25, 2018, 08:37:56 AM
For me between keep all cryptocurrency  in trading platforms or wallets,
I’m prefer to the trading platforms than to wallet because this time I think trading platforms is the best choice to be choose because they are the one of the best in this business.
May i know how long you are in this market and are you aware of the infinite number of hacks that happened in the past, this is the problem as people are least bothered about how they secure their money even if you have the best options without any hurdle and still people like to take chances and hold onto third person wallets. I rarely keep my coins in any trading platforms until i am trading, if not i wont even move to these wallets.
1619  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin for real estate? on: July 23, 2018, 12:43:16 PM
I am wondering how many of you are selling your bitcoins to buy something solid like real estate as backup investment? spread the eggs!
There is nothing wrong in diversifying your investment but when it comes to bitcoin and if i was able to make a fortune in this market, i would re invest in this market till it reaches the level i am envisioning and then i will plan to diversify, other than that there is no urgency as the market itself is not even a decade old and the market is going to grow in the comings years and the price will explode from where it is right now.
1620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: July 23, 2018, 08:54:24 AM
So what it is that makes you invest in crypto? Is it because it caught your fancy? Is it the volatility? Is it because there is a need to fulfil in your life? IS it because you are a day-trader? Or is it fun?
I am investing for a very long time and when the new market opened i was curious to know about it and there were many gambling sites that allowed me to send the coins without any hassle took me to bitcoin a long time back and then i was hooked into it and since this is a new market it gives you the opportunity to make some good amount of money in a short period of time than the usual investment market .
