1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020 on: May 27, 2019, 07:22:50 PM
I am Just see a news.
And i am existing for it.
Facebook like to launch a cryptocurrency!

I think this project successful easily. Becuse, Facebook is most public social site. Many many people use Facebook for communication.

Facebook is a successful social media platform but if they come up with a cryptocurrency that does not mean that it will be successful unless they have something unique to offer, we have a lot of coins in the market right now and we do not need another similar coin, if they can offer anything special which is not available right now, then they could be successful, we will see when they launch it and how useful it can be.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: May 27, 2019, 05:38:44 PM
Ive heard that BCCI played a big part in the reduction of teams. They basically rule the ICC as most of the money is made because of team India generates the highest revenue and lesser the teams the greater chance team India has to reach the finals. India does have a good team but so does a few more teams now like England and Australia. Going to be a good tournament never the less. Excited for it to start.
I am not sure BCCI has anything to do with the reduction of teams playing in the world cup, you need to have an entertainment format in world tournaments, we all know what happened in 2007 world cup which had many teams including six associate member teams and it was a boring and long tournament and ICC might have learned from that experience and wanted only competitive cricket and you cannot blame as you do not want to see one sided match all day long.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bare Knuckle: Malignaggi vs Lobov June 22 on: May 27, 2019, 04:49:41 PM
What are the odds on this? Is Paul the favorite? But for the Conor - Paul storyboard continuity, I hope Paul wins.

MMA, boxing or bareknuckles, the world needs Conor McGregor hehehe.
Conor McGregor is asking for Khabib rematch which is a fight he will not win how hard he tried, if he is intelligent enough he must go after the Diaz brothers, he have to call out Nick Diaz and earn and lot of money and then if he gets defeated there is always a trilogy in Nate Diaz which fans are waiting, i do not think he will cut down to 145 pounds again with hundred million dollars in his bank account and his proper 12 business flourishing.
Any bitcoin sports book having bare knuckle odds ?
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 27, 2019, 04:10:16 PM
I have a feeling that the presence of Virat Kohli makes the other members of the team (I mean the batsmen) very complacent. The thinking is like, he is going to score all the runs... so why we should bother? And I am not joking. In those matches where Virat is absent, I think the other team members do put in a lot of effort and hard-work (which is missing when he is present).
I am not sure whether anyone playing for India will be complacent as they are representing their country and if they cannot give their hundred percent someone will take their place as there are a lot of talents waiting to play for the national side, Virat Kohli is a great player but i do not see him as a great captain without the presence of Dhoni i am sure he will struggle to take decisions during critical situations. If India has any chance to win another world cup this is the best time with Dhoni still playing.
1465  Economy / Economics / Re: Exchange market data manipulation bringing the whole crypto market down? on: May 27, 2019, 03:38:48 PM
I think this issue with some fud around etheruem could be linked with the icos that were on etheruem platform. This unsuccessful project and scam icos made people to lose so much money and they capitalized on the platform to spread fud.
There were many scam projects that had fake valuation and volumes, but the real issue is the exchanges showing fake volumes and now we all know that coinmarket cap always show fake volumes and there is no way we can know the real volume, you cannot trust the fake volumes shown in CMC and enter an exchange thinking that we will have more liquidity, these fake volumes might not bring the market down, but will make investors think twice before deciding which exchange to trade.
1466  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Beat Banks? on: May 27, 2019, 03:09:30 PM
Bitcoin can surely beat banks and convince the financial industry to adopt the use of cryptocurrencies as another payment method. What we need to do is to educate the masses out there how to make transactions with the use of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin etc.
You cannot think for a market situation where you do not need the banking sector, you need both banking sector and the crypto market in tandem if you are to have the perfect solution when it comes to investment as well as mode of transaction, either you have to be a miner to earn the coins, if not you need the help of the banking sector to purchase the coins, either in the form of credit card or bank transfer  Tongue.
1467  Local / Press & News from India / Re: ISIS Collected Donations in Bitcoin Before Sri Lanka Church Bombing on: May 27, 2019, 02:29:25 PM
Even if the speculation is proven to be true, it won't come as a surprise. Bitcoin is known to be used by darknet marketplace/political fundings and other illegal activites where anonymity is a concern. Its nothing new, and I doubt it will paint a different picture of bitcoin than whats already known to people.
If bitcoin was anonymous it will be difficult for anyone to find anything that easily, these investigations have proved once again that bitcoin cannot be used to illegal purposes and anyone who use it for illegal purpose will be caught even if it takes sometime as the transactions are recorded for everyone to view and analyse and it will not paint anything different, it just shows how bitcoin can be used as a legit transaction mode which is transparent.
I have seen the article but what action have been taken for those accounts is still not known, like to see more updates regarding that.
1468  Local / Press & News from India / Re: 35 Countries Are About to Regulate Crypto Exchanges Like Banks (including India) on: May 27, 2019, 12:44:21 PM
India will never regulate it. If it wanted, they wouldn't postpone the hearing for over a year.
I really have no hope regarding it because we all know what the election results were and the past government never had any idea on what to do with the bitcoin market and they were postponing because they did not have a clue on how to deal with the market even with all the study they had for over a year, i have not heard about "The Financial Action Task Force" and i have no idea whether it will make any difference, all the business dealing with crypto market will move out of the country because of the inefficiency of the government and the legal system to sort anything on time.
1469  Local / India / Re: Where are the founders of Co insecure? on: May 27, 2019, 12:04:23 PM
Benson Samuel, Mohit Kalra etc.
We have not heard from them for a long time, but the coins in my account were refunded to the wallet address i provided a long time back, anything specific why you are looking for them, not sure what is the status of the hack and the legal actions taken nor any news from them, but according to Benson they will be coming back hopefully when there is a legal clarity regarding bitcoin in India.
1470  Local / India / Re: Do you still hold BTC or ETH as the price keeps going down? on: May 27, 2019, 10:58:40 AM
As we know that only 1% people in india aware about cryptocurrency like btc ,eth etc.so lot of scope of cryptocurrency in the world,in india in 2009 no body knows the name of modi now in 2019 whole world the name of modi is the P.M of india , same thigs is with btc and eth ,so still hold BTC or ETH .its a future and sky is the limit
I can very well tell that majority of the people in India have heard about bitcoin but investing in it is a different ball game altogether but majority have heard about the market and the risk involved in it, i have being to many group and the main doubt they have is that whether it is legal, so once we get off that grey area and make things clear, we will see more investors from India.
When it comes to Modi was a well known figure during his reign as chief minister in Gujarat and he was not granted visa to US and other countries because of his bad reputation of instigating riots and human rights violation, after becoming the Prime minister he toured every country simply because of the perks it comes when you become the leader  Tongue.
1471  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency companies still can’t open bank accounts on: May 27, 2019, 07:05:44 AM
Despite the increasing legitimate cryptocurrency uses, its continued association with illicit activities and anti-money laundering compliance costs makes banking for cryptocurrency companies hard.
It depends upon region and every region has its own way and regulations according to the clarity of things on how to deal with the cryptocurrency market and if it is in the grey area never expect the banking sector to be open to companies that deals with cryptocurrency, countries with clear rules and regulations might not have a problem opening a bank account.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India on Bitcoin: Will the Newly Elected Indian Government Pass Crypto-Friendly on: May 27, 2019, 06:26:09 AM
But we can hope that the Indian government will not ban cryptocurrency because people cannot use cryptocurrency to help them again.
They need to reconsider the banning of the cryptocurrency because it will not be good for their people to get better life from the crypto.
But I don't know what will happen later, and we could only wait and see.
If the government does not understand what they are dealing with, they will consider banning it and with the current government anything progressive will be shut down by them as far as the past examples we have, as i said earlier in this thread, they have already crippled the exchanges and majority of the old exchanges are shut or in the verge of shutting down. Some of the things you said cannot be deciphered  Grin.
1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: May 26, 2019, 04:32:28 PM
Blockchain is changing the face of every data base and how to manage your affair with no one knowing what you are in to as a decentralized business and transaction.
We still kind of in centralized system of blockchain as many exchange still collect data to know who is behind the funds in that wallet but you can also keep your funds away from them and store it in a wallet that you control the keys.
Blockchain is solving most issue and is here to stay for more issue solve.
The fun fact is that there is no perfect decentralized solution as someone will be collecting data one way or the other. the exchanges are collecting all the user data and yet they are not regulated by any government, a few may be regulated in some parts of the world but the majority of the exchanges are not regulated, block chain will solve some major issues when it comes to securing data.
1474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India on Bitcoin: Will the Newly Elected Indian Government Pass Crypto-Friendly on: May 26, 2019, 02:17:08 PM
Complete Crypto-Ban or Stringent Regulations?
Reportedly, an economic committee under the Indian Government has drafted a bill the “Banning of Cryptocurrencies and Regulation of Official Digital Currencies Bill 2019.” The discussion on the bill is being held between the various branched of the Government. The bill will be introduced in the parliament for approval if sanctioned by the departments.
I really do not expect any positive changes in the entire market in India simply because the newly elected government is the same bunch of people who were ruling earlier, who ruined the market by a big margin because of their incapability to forecast things and their lack of vision and i do not expect anything different this time around too, i wont be even surprised if there is a blanket ban for bitcoin, they have already destroyed the exchanges and all of them have to shut their business and what more can we expect from them  Roll Eyes.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: May 26, 2019, 11:01:23 AM
Yes the OP is correct about this the government if in cooperation has a huge part to play in bitcoin development and acceptability.
The government involvement would trigger a big encourage to citizens of that particular locality to get involved in cryptocurrency
There would be a major influence when it comes to investors and financial institutions investing in bitcoin if there is a clear regulation from the government regarding its legality, majority of them are not involved in the market simply because they are not sure how the government will proceed with the things in the future, government does have a role in the adoption of bitcoin but not in the development.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will they ever find Satoshi Nakamoto? Make your prediction... on: May 26, 2019, 05:53:16 AM
Probably in 50 years when he's long dead. There will be an ambitious investigative reporter who will dig everywhere and make a legitimate connection.
If you cannot find someone when he is alive, there is no way anyone could dig his grave and find the truth  Tongue. In the past few years we had many connections from investigative journalist about Satoshi and everyone turned out to be just fictitious and one of them brought out the Craig White syndrome which we are dealing till now  Cheesy. If Satoshi wants to reveals himself he will do so by proving himself by signing in the genesis block other than that there is no point in chasing a ghost.
1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Nerd money or not? on: May 26, 2019, 04:45:26 AM
Used to be, I find Bitcoin to be a lot more mainstream nowadays and not considered to be as "nerdy" as it used to be.

I now have family members who thought I was insane / thought I was a nerd considering it more as a value store/investment option.
Everyone goes through those experience when it comes to family members and relatives and the advice they will give is just outrageous at time especially when they are working in the financial sector  Cheesy , those times i have to shrug everyone off by telling, it is my money and i decide what to do with it and that happened when the price started hitting the roof, another set of advises as to sell everything off and start another portfolio with them  Shocked.
1478  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: May 25, 2019, 05:53:48 PM
Stake.com site, in reality has games that are addictive, but I like them so much, and simply can not imagine how I can stop playing games on Stake. I always try to control my time to play on Stake as well as on other sites. I have not played only on Stake.com, so I have to allocate my time for each site I usually play every day. Fortunately, among them, PrimeDice, and Stake.com are one of the best ones that I have ever played. There are new gambling sites, and new dice sites launched over time, but Stake.com has strongly maintained its top position.
Looks like you are spending your entire day shuffling between gambling sites because of the love of the game and how you are making the money to spend on that, if you could share that magical point then everyone will have an insight into that realm and everyone could spend a few buck gambling Tongue.

If only you have that amount right? I do not think it is easier for us a normal player make a deposit like 25 btc to start of our gambling journey, if you want to hit big then go play slots because as far as I know they are the one that can give you biggest payout with only such a low amount. But overall what I can say here there is no greed here, he just push his luck too far and thats all. Without "what you called greed", I do not think that he is going to hit that big amount as well. What is the point to deposit 25 btc but played with only thousand satoshi?
Depositing 25BTC to gamble will be like madness and the people who deposit that kind of money will go for crazy rolls, either they win a huge amount or bust everything up  Cheesy. I have never played slots or anything else other than dice apart from sports bets, does stake have slots if so i would like to try that.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Bitcoin SV starting to grow? on: May 25, 2019, 04:11:48 PM
Hello, how are you BSV fans? Today we can see the movement of the Bitcoin SV price jumping rapidly, around 50% for today. Will this continue or just pump for a moment. Maybe I will be a little sorry, because I sold this week and chose another place. But there is nothing to regret. My prediction missed.
The jump was because of the copyright claim by Craig and we might see another drama regarding this, i am not following their development for a long time, just trolls and arguments and claims and other than that i do not see anything from anyone, if they could come up with solutions they promised a long back, then it is well and good for the entire community, will see how the price will move in the long run as i am also holding a few coins.
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 25, 2019, 01:02:49 PM
None of the teams can take Afghanistan lightly. If the luck is also on their side, they are capable of defeating any of the other 9 teams in England.
They have one of the best bowlers in the world in Rashid Khan and he is a true marvel and they can defeat any team on any given day.
Really disappointed with the way India is playing today, really thought of watching the match live but when i saw them lost 4 wickets for 39 runs i changed my decision and went to sleep rather than spending my time Grin . Looks like i should change my prediction by the way they performed today, they cannot built partnerships and all out for 179 runs  Roll Eyes.
