1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bill to Ban Buying All Cryptocurrencies on: May 10, 2019, 11:25:48 PM
If USA will ban BTC, there will be no BTC.  USA is the biggest market.
I am not sure in what world you are living, let us assume that the US government will come up with a regulation that trading bitcoin and conducting bitcoin is illegal, businesses will shift to other countries where it is legal to conduct business and people will still keep on trading, you cannot shut anything down completely, that was a hypothetical situation, US is just one country and the entire world does not revolve along one country.
1542  Local / India / Re: List of exchanges in India [updated] on: May 10, 2019, 02:46:54 PM
Unocoin has fired half their staff members as they can't afford to pay them and I doubt that they will continue their services as the trading volume is low and Bitcoins are being sold for 1 lac less than the market rate.

I was shocked to see Zebpay now has become an international exchange. I last heard it was shutting down and hence I uninstalled the app.
There is no solid business going on in unocoin and there are several good exchanges if you are having a trading pair of coins they are offering with a high enough liquidity and since they are not planning to remodel their business and keep on waiting for a favorable hearing from the court, their business will die off as i do not expect the legal system to produce any verdict at a meaningful time and with the arrest of their founders because of the bitcoin ATM they installed, everything was on a downfall for a long time, Zebpay just understand that there is no point in trust the Judicial system or the government to have a favorable situation for their business and hence they registered their business outside.
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: May 10, 2019, 12:51:34 PM
This is true. No matter how hard women try, the governments won't give a damn since the foolish politicians are busy making money through the already popular leagues which is a sad situation indeed. Social media can help in this aspect if many people raise their voices.
It is not the government that has to take initiative, the BCCI has to take that initiative and start promoting Women's cricket and India does have world class Women players like Mithali Raj and the youngster Smriti Mandhana and if there is a good program that promotes cricket in the school level we will see more promising players and i am sure people will be watching them if they are promoted accordingly.

I am rooting for DC, but you can never count out the CSK juggernaut especially with MSD at the helm. If DC manage to defeat CSK, I am very confident that they can defeat MI too and become first time champs.
For the betting line DC are the underdog and i will not dare to bet against MSD, he is the best captain in the world and he will always find a way to win the match in any given situation. MSD does not experiment with players too much and that can be considered as a short coming, but in this format one innings will change everything .
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance talked about a "re-org" What is a re-org? how does that work with BTC? on: May 09, 2019, 11:01:47 PM
Hei guiz I am trying to learn about bitcoin what is this? I hear it in the news today
It is just a dumb idea from CZ where he thought it was just a easy process like they did with ETH to have a roll back with bitcoin too and he took his idea to some major players in the mining industry and they explained to him that it is a dumb idea that cannot be executed and his confidence even though there was a major hack and to come up with the idea of a roll back in bitcoin is funny enough to question his understanding of the bitcoin network  Cheesy.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin attained the maturity stage or is too early? on: May 09, 2019, 07:50:43 PM
Is it too early to assume that we are now getting matured in the crypto space and negative news will have less impact as compared to that of 2017 to early 2018? During that period, the price will move downward, sometimes with 10% within an hour.
It is not about the maturity that the market is not reacting to the current negative news, sometimes it is hard to understand the general sentiments but the current threshold is simply because more traditional financial institutions are showing interest in the platform and planning to conduct business in the crypto market and even in the recent negative news there was a wall street based financial institute planning to conduct business with the bitcoin market for their clients, it is one such example and there are many such examples and so is the reason the market is holding up even in this negative sentiment.
1546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you interested in knowing the real Satoshi? on: May 09, 2019, 12:43:46 PM
No I'am not interested. It doesn't matter whatever or whoever he is. The things that important to me is how to earn crypto or money. We don't have get any bonus or extra income if we know or we discover who is satoshi. Make sense don't focus on the things that we don't have an income. If he wants to be private we need to accept and respect it.
It is not about getting any incentive by finding out the mystery behind the whole concept which revolutionized finance and opened a platform for international free trade and the curiosity factor is what drives people to find who made everything possible, money is not the factor for these drives, but the problem comes when people are trying to take advantage of the situation and claiming to be the creator which creates unwanted attention which is not good for the network. Everyone wanted to know who the real Satoshi is, but that does not mean we have to hunt him down .
1547  Local / India / Re: Impact of Loksabha election on bitcoin price on: May 09, 2019, 11:16:13 AM
I don't get it, how is Lok Sabha election is going to affect Bitcoin price. Isn't the Bitcoin price was made on the basis of exchanges like demand and supply stuff. even if people are scared about the government taking actions upon us we are not going to withdraw money from Bitcoin to banks that are going to be much riskier then leave your money on exchanges and by the way not ignoring the fact that the exchange is also not getting hacked.
There is a financial impact when ever there is an election because of the uncertainty regarding the next government and it is evident from the stock market crash in the past one week and the market is bleeding badly, but it will not effect the bitcoin market as it is a global market and it is not centered around one region, but one thing we have to be aware is the legal structure around bitcoin and if there is a blanket ban then the Indian market will bleed while the rest of the world move forward and the current government did not do anything that will aide the market and if there is a change in government then we can expect some clarity in the market.

I'm not bashing him for wearing a sig. I am bashing him for wearing a sig and saying things that he does not understand. Also, Stake promotes shitposts - go read my comment at the beginning of their campaign.
I understand your concern buddy, the campaigns that allow anyone to join without moderation on the post quality should end, i have seen some users piling up 200 post a week wearing stake, i am not sure whether they are getting paid for those post busting as the spreadsheet is not available here.

Also, the p2p sites, how many of those sites that you have listed there, have you actually traded on? Maybe with an exception of Wazirx.
Even then, there's just 3 p2p exchanges, lbc, leth and wazirx, rest are dead, or have prices so high that it doesn't make sense to trade there. Take Remitano listings for example.
And why is that? Because it is - as of yet - illegal to operate a crypto-based business in this country. Your user handle sounds Indian, I think you already know what I am talking about.
Yes "Gods own country" Wink, i will tell you this, it is not illegal to run crypto based business here but the banks are restricted from dealing with crypto businesses through a circular from the RBI and hence we now have P2P based exchanges and Wazirx is one such exchange that popped up after the RBI regulation and the others are optional exchanges you can look into as they too work on P2P model and i have traded in those in the past and now i am more comfortable with Wazirx but their customer support sucks but the rest of the exchanges i mentioned have good customer support but less liquidity as compared to Wazirx.

There is INR option but the amount of Indians there? ZERO. Just go and check it out yourself.
And this is the problem with people speaking about things that they don't know about and it pisses me off.
I have traded in Bisq in the past and i have mentioned that the amount of users that deal with INR are limited, i am not sure about the current situation as i have other options to trade, i just want people who have restricted knowledge about other options to know about those platforms and since this is the biggest forum when it comes to bitcoin, why not tell them here so that we will have more users using those platforms and we will have enough liquidity, it is a win win situation.
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you interested in knowing the real Satoshi? on: May 08, 2019, 08:19:43 AM
Whos could he be? There is an interesting countdown going on the moment at a website. Is it a marketing stunt? Or would they unveil the real Satoshi? In my opinion, it is more like gaining some marketing popularity as their Twitter account has grown up quite massively.
There is nothing they can reveal and it is just a publicity stunt to create some news out of thin air, i am sure they will conclude that Craig is the real Satoshi or come up with memes after the count down and the only buzz you can get is that the domain name will have some valuation after the stunt and the owner could sell it for a good amount  Cheesy.
1550  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance lost $40.7 million to hackers, which exchange is next!!! on: May 08, 2019, 07:57:22 AM
Yah super safe! they only got hacked for 7000 today.
Looks like he is not a person that can be trusted, he just got hacked big time and still claiming that everything is safe, i am not sure whether he is dreaming and not knowing the situation and now claiming about a roll back  Roll Eyes, which will be a disaster if he is to control 51% and it is a direct attack on the network which cannot be accepted in any way possible, the long term implication and trust for bitcoin is at stake if he does anything remotely to that extent.
1551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit giveaway for forum contributions! on: May 08, 2019, 07:46:34 AM

Merit is hard to reach me and hence posting here Wink
1552  Local / India / Re: Best indian Peer to Peer or Fiat Exchange on: May 08, 2019, 06:06:56 AM
Hi could somebody recommend indian Fiat exchange apart form Koinex and Wazirx . As koinex is down from last two days i need some fiat conversion could somebody help me with genuine exchanges. Please dont spam here
Apart from Wazirx and Koinex will list some exchanges which are useful for Indians

1)Instashift P2P exchange
2)Giottus P2P exchange
3)Bisq Total privacy but less Indian users
4)buyucoin Check this out too
5)coindcx Never traded here but it is another option

Are you sure you have heard that there are "lots of exchange available out there" -as in here in India? And you're absolutely not just fudding because you want to earn from your Stake shitposts?
Seriously!!!! You are also wearing a signature and bashing others for wearing one, it is a small community, make sure you do not bash each other and there is nothing to gain by doing so mate.

3)Bisq Total privacy but less Indian users
Does bisq offer crypto/INR trading? If I am correct, bisq is an international exchange. Sorry if I am wrong. Since OP is looking for Indian fiat option, INR, bisq wouldn't be the one he is looking for.
Yes it is a P2P exchange with inbuilt tor and yes they support crypto trading for INR, but less Indian users.

1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: April 21, 2019, 08:26:33 PM
MSD! Wow. I bet on CSK, but honestly felt like I won my bet thanks to this man. One of his 6's literally disappeared from the ground. What a monster. RCB still stays alive in the competition mathematically at present.

IPL never ceases to amaze me. Regained interest in Cricket again thanks to this tournament. 1 freaking run! Crazy indeed!
It was an impossible task at hand to score 26 runs in the last over with Umesh Yadav bowling and yet Dhoni almost made it to the last ball with three sixes and a four and with just 2 runs to win he went for the maximum rather than striking the ball in the gaps, either way it was a terrific display of batting under pressure and the ball was not coming on to the bat and still he managed to strike that well.
1555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be this type of Bitcoiner on: April 21, 2019, 04:21:23 PM
..yeah that's true..you still need fiat money inorder to buy Bitcoin..the existence of fiat money cannot be replace by any other crypto coins..for the reason that fiat money are still needed in any form/mode of transaction specially offline transactions because most of stores/companies worldwide don't use and accept Bitcoin..contrary to that,,sooner or later,, the existence of Bitcoin can be use as a form of digital money which can be use in any online transactions..
Bitcoin will be the currency for the internet and there is nothing that can stop that, governments around the world can come up with rules and regulations but the adoption rate will increase with time with more awareness on the ease of use of bitcoin and with time we will see new companies coming up with robust front end applications which is easier for anyone to store and use safely online rather than using their credit cards and banking details for online purchases.
1556  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will hit $1 million in 2020 because of mathematics: John McAfee on: April 21, 2019, 08:21:56 AM
Bitcoin may hit 1 million Dollar in 2020 or it may not hit, but i do not believe this person anymore. He just give such news to remain in the mainstream media. Recently he claimed to be Satoshi and as a result of it Bitcoin SV has to be de listed from binance.
He is just to create a drama, and nothing else.
He likes to be in the news all the time but he never said he is Satoshi, but he tweeted he knew the group who created it and the reason for Bitcoin SV being delisted in some of the exchanges is because of the war of words with Craig Wright who is leading the development of SV and Binance already started the process with Kraken following that path along with shape shift. When it comes to the valuation of bitcoin, it is too high of a valuation to attain in a small period of time and McAfee might be eating his dick for that matter  Cheesy.
1557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason mining was banned in China on: April 21, 2019, 05:16:45 AM
They will try and dominate even the world of cryptocurrency, well guess what ?
Days after mining the Bitcoins that is the king of all cryptocurrencies' was banned , we have a news .!!
*China is going to make it's own currency Renminbi a cryptocurrency *
With the huge populate they have the volume of trade will be very high, other than that who will be purchasing their central currency, if the crypto they are planning to roll out will have any advantage than their fiat currency, then people will be using them to trade, shutting down all competition is the only way they can approach their business, if not even their own citizens would not bother using them  Tongue.

Well to be honest I think it would be a good experiment when we would be able to see how ! Cryptocurrency + government can work together since it will be a derivative of a bank !
Any ideas about what will happen ? What do you guys think ?
It is not surprising, just like they have a firewall to prevent their citizens to use other sites in the net and how they are taking control over how they can access the world wide web, this is the same format, shutting down the entire crypto market and forcing them to use their own crypto.

Who received the 34 BTC donation?
How much you got, you even asked for some share right  Tongue

Beware of this site

Many people are reporting it's on a scamming spree
I understand that you lost some coins gambling, but that does not mean that they are scamming you, you made the choice to gamble and lost your money and now you are angry that you lost  Cheesy. It is the most trusted site here and i have not seen any legit complaint from any users till now, other than accusations which cannot be proved, just like you  Tongue.
1559  Local / India / Re: How Indian Govt. cheated the whole nation (NewsFlash) on: April 20, 2019, 10:43:09 PM
Do you think this study report was funded by the opposition? I am not putting my opinion here but leaving it up to individual wisdom!
What ever the case may be, one thing is certain, many small sector businesses have to close their doors and many lost their jobs because of demonetization and there is no job opportunities being created and more jobs are lost during those period and may be these studies are funded by the opposition but the fact remains and the surging price of petrol when the global rates are really low dented the pocket of middle class families and the arrogance in which they approach when asked about the common peoples problem and instead of sorting out the issues they talk about religion and how to evaluate people according to religious beliefs which is really irrelevant, we cannot blame anyone here as the ruling party always projected religion and people voted for them and if they masses find it charming they will vote for them again  Tongue.
1560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: April 20, 2019, 10:22:40 PM
It’s sad but true, some altcoins will never recover from this crash. On the other hand crypto market is still very promising and it’ll keep growing in future. The key is being patient, there is nothing wrong to wait for a long time if you have a chance to make good money in the end.
Majority of the projects have closed down when the market went down and some are impossible to recover from the situation and people who invested in those coins will be holding that coin forever, the best you can do is to get out when you can when it comes to random projects, if it is a top ten project then i will place my faith in it, other than that i would dispose when the market is right and still i am a bag holder of some coins. Cheesy
