1501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be the main currency in Mars? on: May 20, 2019, 04:40:46 PM
Do you guys think Elon Musk could potentially make BTC the main currency in Mars?
Elon Musk can potentially make bitcoin the main currency in Mars, but what do you think they are going to transaction those in Mars  Cheesy
I am posting a comical description that i got in my friends group, do you think that there will be trade and commerce in Mars  Tongue.

PS: this image is for fun purpose only and it is not to hurt anyone personally. This image shows a tea shop being opened in another planet by Modi the prime minister of India as he was always portrayed as a common man who ran tea shops before entering politics but with recent claims that he owned a digital camera by 1987 and did sent E Mail during that period, in reality internet was only available for research purpose in India during that time and only the super rich had a digital camera during those period, in that aspect these trolls appeared .
1502  Local / India / Corrupt government officials and the suicide of a bitcoin trader on: May 20, 2019, 02:41:36 PM
We all know about the corruption in India and how these corrupt officials could pose a serious threat if you even plan to help them wash their illegal earnings in any way for extra money and that is what happened in this case in Gujarat i guess as a corrupt police official seeked the help of a bitcoin trader and they might have invested when the price of bitcoin was soaring and they invested in 5 BTC and now they are demanding 11.5 BTC in return and was blackmailing him and hence he committed suicide, it is a really unfortunate event, but the serious issue is when people in power do these sort of activities, where will the justice come from.

I found a report online regarding this but it does not have many details and hopefully we will know about it in details in the coming days.
1503  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 29 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: May 20, 2019, 01:56:47 PM
Reading that topic, nobody stated that he was an employee of Primedice. I think he just found a loop-hole in the software and exploited it. I think the admins should of checked the server logs prior to sending his winning withdraws but they probably didn't look too deeply into it at the moment. Looking at the way he bet, it did look like legitmate bets and you would just assume he has "really deep pockets" and feels comfortable taking "huge bets".

No idea where the coins went. I don't think he could deposit them into an exchange and cash out. Most likely he either sold them privately or OTC or they are still sitting in some wallet somewhere doing nothing.
If anyone knew the end result anyone could go full on mode without thinking twice  Cheesy, he would have mixed the coins a long time back and i am not sure whether anyone knew about the address in which the coins are sent nor anyone is monitoring those, only the prime dice team can give an answer to that puzzle. I am not sure why this topic is being discussed again after a long time  Smiley.
1504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 20, 2019, 12:10:48 PM
Didn't saw the fight. Not surprising judging by the experience of Andrade.
edited: Watched Namajunas vs Andrade on youtube, it really looked very mismatche
On the feet Andrade was finding it hard to land anything substantial and the mismatch was on the strength factor and Rose was dominating her on the feet and the face of Andrade was the proof of that but the slam ended everything, i really would like to see a rematch between the two and i am sure Rose will have a game plan to avoid getting close this time around and will dismatle her through her superior striking.

Next fight would be Alexander Gustafsson vs Anthony Smith. Gustaf has the less experience but has better records of Smith. I once saw his fight with Jon Jones where he almost won. I'm sure Jones is a lot technical than Smith. I think he can handle this Smith unless its going to be in the ground fight.
The first Jon Jones fight was a close encounter and we all know Jones was a party animal and never took it that seriously and we saw that in the second fight where he finished easily, the fight between Gustafsson and Smith is an important one as the winner will get closer to another title shot and a loss will pull them back by a long distant to reach that title shot again.
1505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A notary office in China uses blockhain on: May 20, 2019, 10:33:48 AM
It's not just China! Even a small state of India has started issuing blockchain based birth certificates since last year. The state name is West Bengal and they are now exploring the opportunity to implement blockchain solutions in land records department. See the news below,

https://www.cryptoground.com/a/first-blockchain-based-birth-certificate-issued-india

Blockchain is slowly making its way into data intensive fields and most surprisingly, they are making impact in government departments as well. If blockchain is implemented in land records department effectively, thousands of court cases will be saved!
That is a good initiative and West Bengal is under Mamata Banerjee who is a progressive leader and not like the power house in the central who is always against progressive approach and no wonder they are implementing blockchain solutions in different sectors as they took the initiative to understand the real potential of blockchain, many countries will start implementing projects in blockchain and this is just the beginning and every sensitive records should be moved to blockchain to prevent manipulation.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 20, 2019, 10:14:46 AM
Good warm up or nice beating for bowlers from both team? it should send msz to all bowlers around the world that this World cup edition is not going to be easy for them. if this kind of competition becoming normal then in next 10-20 years bowlers will be replaced by bowling machine Cheesy

I doubt that Pakistan got any answers from this series. Pakistan bowling is their main weapon and we saw toothless attack so far. having said that, this can be blessing in disguise for Pakistan due to low expectation and we all know the Pak team is very unpredictable and they can upset any team in their day.

For England .... no words! I am just wishing to get them over-confident lol so that they can mistake in World Cup.
India basically changed the concept of cricket everywhere, earlier it was hard to see these high scoring matches outside the sub continent, but now every pitch are dead ones and bowlers are not getting any aide from the pitch nor the rules are favoring them, earlier there was a contest between batsmen and the bowler, now bowlers are at the mercy of the batsmen, they can get the wicket only if they make any mistake and nothing else, the level of play has gone down.
1507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SUDDEN CRASH on: May 19, 2019, 11:38:06 PM
Forget about that dump, whoever dump failed on his mission to cause panic.
Bitcoin seems to be back again, reached $8200 as I am writing this post, so it looks like we are into a new high for this year.
I am not certain how that sell order came through until we have a detailed media coverage regarding that, if it was a major sell order it would trigger a panic and people will book their profit looking to enter once again when the market retracts but that scenario did not happen and it might be a accidental sell order that crashed the market for a moment and the market started rising again, how long the market rally continues is to be seen.
1508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Merchants Now Accepting Bitcoin on: May 19, 2019, 10:53:22 PM
There are now many merchants big, small and those in between which are now accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their business. With the help of third-party applications, they are able to integrate Bitcoin option with their infrastructure. Here are some in the list as provided by payments startup Flexa:

Barnes & Noble, Baskin Robbins, Bed Bath & Beyond, Caribou Coffee, Crate & Barrel, Express, GameStop, Jamba Juice, Lowe’s, Nordstrom, Office Depot & OfficeMax, Petco, Regal Cinemas, Ulta Beauty and Amazon-owned Whole Foods Market and of course Starbucks
The heading looks flashy and looks like a promising start when it comes to merchant adoption, but it is really the case or is it restricted to a few American states, majority of the big companies mentioned have branches world wide and i am certain that those branches are not accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment yet and if they could clarify about world wide implementation then it would be a great news.
1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another proof that cloud mining is a scam on: May 19, 2019, 09:44:06 PM
I really don't understand, it's already 2019 and people are still believing that cloud mining is still one way to earn and the best way to invest your money??? *face-palm*..
Anyone new to bitcoin will always look at ways to earn maximum benefit and that is where these cloud mining sites make their profit, it is a trap for new users as they will not understand the difficulty in which you could get any profit even with a good mining machine and these cloud mining sites are taking advantage of that ignorance and there is no doubt we should tag those sites.
1510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is loss of bitcoin.com a setback for Bitcoin Core? on: May 19, 2019, 09:31:02 PM
this is shameful. how can someone be so cruel to bitcoin? I am sure he has also made a lot of profit from bitcoin and as it goes he is not against bitcoin and not even that. he is misleading people against bitcoin. we can not blame newbies about it but can expect them to switch to real bitcoin as soon as possible or else they are gonna lose a lot of money.
In reality there is nothing cruel over here as it is a commercial domain extension and we have the professional one, we could have purchased that domain a long back as we could have collected enough funds as a community to purchase the commercial domain but no one bothered to do that even with the funds we had from the situation i understand, newbies coming into this market should understand the difference between BTC and BCH even if they advertise it as the real bitcoin.
1511  Local / India / Re: Indian Govt Planning Ban on Crypto on: May 19, 2019, 03:16:50 PM
Do you like to spoil kids life? how many are playing PUBG?
Tiktok is a time waste for youngsters.
May be after election we can see if Bitcoin gets legal.
It is better to be someone spending time playing those rather than doing something illegal, yes it might be bad for the generation if they are not using the technology wisely, that can be said about everything not just these platforms.

I think congress wont ban bitcoin if they come to power but if its BJP, then definitely they will ban crypto.
The exit poll shows that NDA might come back to power which is not a great thing if you are looking at harmony, these exit polls might not be always true and the UPA was not even a strong opposition to make any changes to the current structure.
I have not seen a legit knowledgeable person in NDA who has a progressive thinking to take the country to the next level, all i hear is how you can differentiate people when it comes to religion.
1512  Local / India / Re: Anybody want to invest in coin project? on: May 19, 2019, 11:46:17 AM
If he's Craig he'll hear a mouthful from me.. my disgust for that man and the shit he and Calvin are trying to pull is well documented in this forum.
His bullshits are clear to everyone and he is even trying to bullshit the legal system with all these claims is mind boggling.

guys I am still studing and not a super billionaire or something, but i am part of some blockchain events and projects, that has gained me a good reputation to bring investors, and i am not satoshi.
not revealing my identity
You really do not need any money to have a great project, money will reach you if you idea is unique and great, no one is asking to reveal your identity, just come up with a concrete idea and if it is good the community will support you.

Those getting little bit intrest can take some examples of Wazirx CEO, idap ICO etc...  these are indian Projects and are now multi millioner. i am not asking anyone's money,
but i need some money  holder to join me to discuss the opportunity...
Never start any project thinking about becoming a millionaire, you can take inspiration and come up with a great project and if it solves legit problems then money will flow.

I am repling so late because i have other phase of life where i have to go college and alognwith am fighting to get government job in india, :-) thus, i don't know after how many days, i will be back to reply you here.
one of my college professor said "negetive people are only those who have less amount knowledge or are low in IQ"  so knidly think before making fun.
This is your time to study and if you are innovative enough come up with something unique, the Indian or the Asian market is wide open and you can start any business where it is legal and it is not a big deal if your idea is great.
If you really want to discuss something legit we will debate about it and thereby you will also learn more things about the idea you have in mind, so if you want to have an open debate about anything we can very well have here.
1513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest inside job fraud ever? on: May 15, 2019, 10:57:37 PM
It seems that this ridiculous bitcoin pump is just an inside job of exchanges, they pump bitcoin price by spending their own crooked USD-T not covered by USD 1:1, the price goes up, and as it doubles, they just cash out the profit and coverup the deficit of real USDs by cashing out the 8000 vs 3500USD difference.
The 4k to 8k pump has fundamentally very very low reasons to happen so suddenly except any conspiracy...

Thoughts? Many previous sudden BTC pumps were proven as a fraud before - remember Mt. Goxs pump to 1000+USD in 2013, Sergei Mavrodis sudden Ponzi-scheme pump from 300 to 600USD 2 years later etc.
If you are having any concrete proof regarding that why not post here with the entire details rather than speculation about what caused the market to go higher, USDT was not transparent when it comes to their claims or holding equal valuation in dollars and no one is going to believe them in this situation, but if these rallies are simply because of these fraud and you tell that it is that easy to manipulate the market, what is the point in trusting the entire structure.
1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did today bullish trend affect gambling! on: May 15, 2019, 10:47:25 PM
In every bull runs people want's to multiply their bitcoin holdings instantly and the only way to do that is via Casino platform and all casino platform love's this bull run since many users are coming back to life when BTC are starting to show some positive price movement,.
People will gamble to multiply their money when the price start moving up  Cheesy, no one in their right sense will do that kind of activity, people gamble for fun or if they are addicted to it, it is not a certain platform to increase your money and if it was that easy to multiply your coins, the gambling sites will be closing down for good as it will be a money burning business rather than profits.
1515  Local / India / Re: List of P2P Exchange in India on: May 15, 2019, 10:20:34 PM
@ankit11 aka ankit10 i did not have a clue about Wazirx founder and it is publicly available, they have a shitty customer support and with the current situation regarding bitcoin in India, are they registered in India, i really do not think so and i am not sure how they are running their business in India other than the P2P aspect of transaction, either the owner have close ties to the government to run the exchange when all the prominent exchange had to close down and went down the drains because of RBI circular, so which part is true in this aspect.
I contacted Wazirx in telegram sometime back and they never responded but i got a bunch of strangers messaging me about solving the issuee and someone contacted me telling me they are Wazirx support team and asked me to send 1 ETH in an account to verify that i am having issues since i did have an issue with the ETH i deposited, since i am not a fool, i knew what those fuckers are trying to do and hence i played well with those strangers and when they understood that i understood their shit, they just left the scene. The situation was resolved after that, but that does not mean that they have a good support team.

Offer: Earn free 100 WRX Coins on first trade!
I am still not sure about the use of WRX coins, i got over 2000 WRX coins in my account  Cheesy.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: May 15, 2019, 10:07:57 PM
Yes India does have a good bowling line up and so does South Africa and Australia, when it comes to good one day side England have a really strong team with good players like Eoin Morgan, Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler, Joe Root, Jason Roy and Ben Stokes and they have the strongest batting line up in the tournament and they will probably win the tournament and that too with the home support.
The home advantage is a great concept and India won the world cup in their home ground and England have the best team in their history without doubt, but the best teams will not win all the time, you can look at South Africa, they always had the best team in world cricket in the past but they never won the world cup. India does have a good team and so does Australia and England, the team that plays consistency during that given time will lift the cup, earlier Australia was the favorite to win world cups as they had the best team, but now we are debating than England India and Australia have better teams increase the interest in this current edition.
1517  Local / India / Re: Taxability of Bitcoin: A deeper look on: May 15, 2019, 09:16:24 PM
I don't think government will come after old transactions even if trading Bitcoin gets ban in future. Any law is applicable from the point of time when it is actually comes into effect. All transactions before that point of time is outside the scope of that law. So there is no problem to report any Crypto profits as CG for filing return of Assessment Year 2019-20.
The actual problem which makes reporting income as Capital Gains difficult is complications in finding Cost of Acquisition. In the absence of COA, one has to pay tax on whole selling value which would result in lots of money flowing out as a tax.
As per law they cannot come after us, what if they come out with a verdict that they need to investigate those transaction for terrorist funding and other illegal activities and with a volatile government like this, we should anticipate extreme things, i am citing this simply because of the past experience we know, anyone expected something like demonetization in the past, i am sure no one in the wildest dream would think about that, your money is not having value and you have to stand in queue leaving everything to get your hard earned money from banks and to see their attitude while doing so, never heard before that you will kill people because of what they eat, we have seen all those in the past five years.

Capital Gain applies only when you have a gain on your invested capital. If you have never bought crypto, there is no question of capital gain either. Make sure to accept the proceed of your crypto sales at a current account. Keep note of all the transactions. Pay tax as per presumptive taxation rules. Remember, if the total volume is over 20L INR, you need GST registration.
I am really ignorant in these things, why would you need a GST registration if there is no regulations about it. I am not sure what is presumptive tax, the head ache of filing the tax is done by my CA, the transactions i got from bitcoin are in my personal account and usually split in my family members account to avoid taxation and i never filed them till now due to the grey situation we have.
1518  Local / India / Re: Impact of Loksabha election on bitcoin price on: May 15, 2019, 08:32:26 PM
This is not effect to Bitcoin price because don't have that much of popularity here and no one know about to Bitcoin details so I think government decision will take long time.
Never say that bitcoin is not popular in India, anyone who watches the news knows about bitcoin, they might not be knowing about it in detail simply because they find it hard to understand, but the knowledge of bitcoin and its existence is known to everyone. The government is delaying its decision because they are not capable to find a proper solution on how to deal with this market. You need to have a innovative and progressive government to make those decisions. Tongue
1519  Local / India / Re: Anybody want to invest in coin project? on: May 15, 2019, 08:11:26 PM
But I am curious about this "international image" he speaks of.
How dare you question someone like that, he might reveal that he is Satoshi in disguise or even Craig Wright  Cheesy

I have gained international image in blockchain industry. Now i have plan to introduce a new coin. this will require around few of lakhs to turn into big sum project. I am ready to meet personally if anyone is intrested to join me.
What about the developers, are you a developer or you just have a million dollar idea like the rest of the crowd so that someone should invest in it.
From what you have said you are in your infant stage and there is nothing concrete, for you to get any investor you have to convince your idea and why don't you use this platform to attract investors.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 15, 2019, 07:25:09 PM
Namajunas looks like a very cute flower, doesn't really look like a fighter on the outside. Hope she wins though.
Looks like you were in a comma for a while, the fight is over last week and the cute flower lost the belt because she got slammed on her head while attempting a submission, until that moment she was in full flow and winning the fight easily, i really expect a rematch and then hopefully you can have your prediction at the time  Tongue.

Also pretty surprised at the Aldo's defeat.
Yes that was a real bummer and he was outpointed by the technical striking of Alexander Volkanovski and i was watching Volkanovski fight for the first time and he was really good and his range of attacks were good and it was a rare off day for Aldo.
